Kalli nodded, "Yeah, I know." she smiled at him, then felt his hand on her back. Her flush went back to normal. "So... you live nearby?" She asked, loosening her grip around his neck.

Taro nodded. "Yep. I live close to here. You wanna see it?" He asked her. Taro was nearly beaming. He was so happy that she had accepted him. That she had accepted what he was. He could have a freind that wasn't a nymph for once.

She nodded, "Yep." She stepped back, pulling her arms away. She put her hands in her pocket and looked at him. "Sounds good."

Taro nodded and showed her the way. They came to a large tree. In the tree was a large wooden structure. That was Taro's house. He led Kalli up the stairs to his house and said. "Whatcha think?"

Taro smiled as he offered her a seat. He went and got them drinks. He then sat down next to her. "Soo.....you like it?"

"Really. I just thought it was you know normal. Thanks." He said. He looked at her. "Are you hungry Kalli?" He asked her. As he went to see what they had to eat.

Her stomach growled in answer, and she smiled sheepishly. "Uhm... yeah..." She sipped her drink, watching him. It was sort of hard to believe he was a nymph, he seemed like a normal boy.

Taro smiled. She was so cute. He went to the fridge and pulled out a pork pot pie. He sliced a piece for both of them and brought it out to her. He sat down next to her and smiled. "You're cute." He blurted without thinking and then blushed.

She blushed lightly, smiling idiotically at her piece of pie. "Thank you." she replied, taking a bite of her food.

"Um so don't you have questions?" Taro said trying to lighten the mood. He cut a piece of the pie and began to eat.

She looked up, taking the fork out of her mouth. "Do you live with your family? You're a river nymph, but you live in a tree. Why?" She started off slowly, making sure not to overwhelm him.

"We don't really have parents as we are born of nature. We just sorta exist. And I live in a tree because the River is to sacred to build on or next to. So I live in a tree." He said. He was glad she had taken to asking questions instead of thinking about what he had said.
