"Thank you," KC said, with an overly-exaggerated bow tacked on. She walked up to the line and grabbed a tray, along with the essencial utencils to eat with. She took a particularly large lasagna plate and moved along, filling the rest of the tray quickly. She left just enough room for a drink, somehow fitting in two cans of soda, a bottle of milk, and a small container of ice cream. She sunk her teeth into an apple at the last minute, leaving it there for easy carrying. She almost emptied her wallet at the register and went to sit down. Sticking her spoon in the ice cream and letting it soften, she munched on the apple. "Things are certainly getting expensive around here. Probably 'cause of the dorms. They used to be all ratty and junk, but they fixed 'em up over the summer."

She stopped walking in the middle of the path for a while, creating a mental image of her current location. Her eyes closed as she tilted her head towards the sky, enjoying the feeling of the rain hitting her pale skin. She took in a breath; the scent of food flowing from the cafeteria didn't seem too mix well with the cool aroma of freshly-watered flora. "Ah, my apologies..." she started speaking slowly when she remembered where she was and who she was with, her glance lowering back at the ground. "I was hoping I would be able to get a look at the classrooms, so I may be wandering around for a while..." She barely turned her head back enough to see Jan. "Is there anywhere you would like to visit first?"

Jan walked up and put his hand on Sakura's shoulder. "Where ever you go is fine. Just warn me before you go into the Girl's room." he joked smiling. "This rain is nice isn't it?" His owl Gnosis ruffled it's feathers and flew off to a tree, to hide from the rain. "Someone must not like it as much as I do." he smiled again, still staring into nowhere, eyes hidden behind glasses.

Even though she saw him approach her, Sakura still stiffened a little when Jan placed a hand on her shoulder, and tried to immediately dismiss the discomfort. "The rain is nice..." she muttered as she watched the owl fly off, noting through the corner of her eye that Jan was smiling again. He seems rather happy, despite his condition... She hesitated for a moment before continuing to walk towards the nearest building. "Do you not think people will find it strange that you are wearing sunglasses in this weather?"

Jaws grabbed a ramen bowl and made it quickly herself, then getting a tea and paying. She followed KC to the table and settled herself down comfortably, pulling a pair of her own chopsticks from her pocket and digging in. "Really? They're seem quite nice now, I must admit." She shrugged and gulped down a bit of tea, then going back to the noodles. "I'm pleased with it--fancier than I expected."

He rested his seeing stick on Sakura's shoulder as a way to follow her. "No." said Jan holding up his white stick. "Most blind people use these and wear glasses. The shades are for other people. Most are discomforted.." -he took off his glasses and his eyes stared out into no where, "..by the unfocused eyes." His deep all blue eyes seemed to bore through the air. You'd expect to see the air freeze wherever they focused.

She turned her head to glance at Jan's eyes, understanding why most people would be discomforted. However, her reaction was a bit different. "I see..." The tone of her voice changed to one of suppressed amusement as a small smirk tugged at the corner of her mouth. "But to have such an effect on others with a single stare could come in handy sometimes..." she muttered under her breath, more for herself than for him to hear, then bit her lip to silence herself. She continued to walk quietly before stopping in front of a building and glancing at the schedule. "The Minerva Wing... quite a fitting name for the building where classes are to be held..." By now, her dark hair was fairly wet and stuck to the sides of her face, giving her the appearance of something from a Japanese horror movie. Water drops steadily dripped to the floor as she stepped into the building, holding the door open for Jan.

"Yeah, more than what I, too. I saw posters saying that they were gonna remodel, but I didn't think they were gonna be that... Awesome." In under a minute, the ice cream was gone, and KC was munching on the apple.

Noryoku stepped out of the taxi. The rain was coming down harder now, and he hadn't brought an umbrella. He paid the driver and looked up at the school. This was where he was going to spend the next few years of his life. He shouldered his duffel bag, hoisted his suitcase and set off for the Orienteering wing. When he arrived, Noryoku was soaked completely, his brown hair plastered to his head. "Kamijiwa, Noryoku." He when the lady at the counter looked up. She flicked through some files. "Ah, yes. Here you are. Room is Co-Ed Dorm 1, top floor. Here is your schedule." Noryoku took them and thanked the lady. *** Noryoku unlocked the door to his dorm. As he stepped inside, his eyes opened wide. The place was huge! He put his things in one of the bedrooms and he set out for the cafeteria to grab some food.

"They're really great, though," KC continued. She tossed the apple core over her head into a trash bin, bouncing it off the sides and sinking it. "Yeah! So, besides working with your powers, what are you going to work on? Kinda like... What're you gonna major in?"

Noryoku reached the cafeteria just as the storm got worse. He struggled to pull the door open against the howling winds, but finally managed to squeeze inside. He shook himself briefly to dislodge most of the water before heading to the counter. He piled a tray with sandwiches, grabbed a drink from the fridge, and sat at a table near the back of the room. As he sat down, he raised his temperature slightly. Noryoku's eyes glowed a deep red as steam began to rise off of his shoulders.

"Hah?" Jaws asked, her eyes snapping back to KC. She'd noticed a new student come in, sitting in the back. His ability was...intriguing. "Oh, double major in art and languages. I don't need to know much else...I'm older than I appear." She grinned in a cryptic way, not elaborating more. "And you?"

KC glanced off at the new student as well, for just a moment, before turning her attention to Jaws's question. "I haven't quite decided really. Probably just gonna focus on power training, but I'm really gonna get into my German and shop classes." Her tray was almost empty, abeit the lasagna she never touched. So she dug in. Sam swore as the ink on his map started to drip off because of the rain. He ran into the nearest building, which turned out to be the cafeteria. He swore again, under his breath, as he sat down at the closest table, pulling his luggage underneath to keep it out of the way. He looked around; big place. He saw the guy sitting alone, but he focused on the two girls sitting at a table across the way. They were pretty cute. Not that it mattered. He was horrible with girls. He sighed and slumped over the tabletop, soaking it and making it drip over the side on his suitcase. He sighed.

Jaws raised her eyebrows and nodded, her ramen having been finished just a few moments prior. She heard the door open with well trained ears and her black-eyed gaze flickered over, seeing yet another new student. She smirked slightly, turning back to KC. "Does it rain often here? I love the rain."

"Around this time, definately. In the fall, it rains heavily, sometimes almost nonstop. Once, last year, we had a huge storm that lasted at least a week. The teachers had to start teleporting the students to different buildings because it got too bad to go outside." Her eyes glazed over for a moment, then she shuddered. "Some people tried to go out... We didn't see them again for a while thanks to the huge winds." She chugged the last bit of her soda and tossed it into the trash can to her left, making it in again. "But around the end of the year, near summer, we only get light dizzles." Figuring he might as well make the best out of a bad situation, Sam shrugged off his sopping wet coat and stood, heading over to the line for food. He got a small tray, as he was on a somewhat meager budget, and sat back down with a groan.
