Fire Country:
Elder: really...attacks upon so many villages at once? I hardly find that possible...many of us may not be at our greatest, but we still put up a tough fight...our scroll won't help Sound Village take over anyone...but that is all the information I have at the moment...tell me, what was stolen from your village, and how will this affect us? I'm rather skeptical about the whole thing...

::Hinata ran up the stairs as quickly as her still tired legs could make it. As she ran a slow smile crept across her face at what would await her there. A presence that she found comforting and familiar. It was odd that he would have appeared now. This thought tainted her happiness slightly, but she moved quickly, hoping to catch him before he disappeared again::

Hokage Tower, Elder's Office:
The dark-clothed man nodded quietly, listening to Tomasu's story. "Starting to make some measure of sense, this situation is. And that's not particularly a good thing..."
Komm addressed Tomasu directly after the Elder had finished speaking. "I am the Kuraisennin, not affiliated with any one Village in particular, for the purpose of this meeting. Now, tell me what was it that the thieves took from your Village?"
His head jerked back the barest of a centimeter, the left corner of his mask pulling up slightly in what could have been a half-smile, as he tracked a familiar presence nearing quickly.

Hokage Tower, Elder's Office:
"We of the hidden mist were attacked a few days ago, on the same day I believe as were you, although a different person. They tried to steal an ancient scroll of the mist and assassinate the Mizukage but was unsuccesful and was chased out of the village and dropped the scroll. I didnt see any of it personally but I was the one that continued the chase after he had left the village and that was when I saw Shunketsu and the other large man I think was from Konoha? He seemed to be a missing nin, and he fought with the hidden cloud missing nin that attacked us as a team. This is the reason for my theory,. and the Mizukage finds it highly possible, hence why I stand before you now...."

::She came to the door and with a quick knock she opened it, not waiting for a response. What awaited was a bit surprising, as she was not expecting to see anyone in the room other than the elder and Komm. She stood in the doorway, one hand going to rub the back of her head, a bit embarassed::

The mask tilted towards the door, a black-gloved and lifting towards Hinata and waving her over to him without waiting for the Elder's consent.
"Hyuuga Hinata, one of the heroes of the recent war just past. I'm sure she can be of great assistance in this matter."
Hinata would understand the tone behind his mask as the one used when the rare smile appeared.

::she gave a slight smirk and then hurried over to Komm, the sterile mask a comfort, his soft tone calming as always. She embraced him quickly, happy to see him again. Too many times had she feared that she had lost her companion but he always seemed to make his way back someone::
::then it dawned on her:: assistance with what?

::Hokage's Tower: Elder's Office::
Shunketsu: well, now that she's been included...I guess there's no harm in filling her in...one of our most valuable scrolls has been stolen...sychronized attacks have apparently been reported at Mist and maybe Sand, Grass, and Rain as well...it seems some rogue ninjas have banded together and made off with the scrolls towards Sound...
Mist was able to recover their scroll, but...I was unsuccessful in retrieving our own, not while outnumbered in enemy territory, not at my level...after they start understanding my tricks, I have nothing on them...I was forced to retreat because it was 2 on 1, and they were both stronger...
*Shunketsu looked down at the ground...still upset about that...*
Elder: hmm...interesting indeed...an unfortunate turn of events...these stolen scrolls hold much power, insignificant on its own, but when all that information from many scrolls reach one person, that person may indeed have gained vast amounts of power...and being that it is Sound Village, this one person should be the Yowakage...Hyuuga Shabang...
Of course, he can still be defeated...Kages are strong...and if banded together can stop him...but alas...Kages of other villages will be unwilling to leave their villages to help another, we have no Hokage of our own, and my strength lies in counsel, not in jutsu...
A task force would be the obvious answer to this threat...defeat him while he's still learning...but that would be too obvious...especially to the enemy...they will be ready for us...
alas, what do you believe we should do? *the Elder was referring to Kuraisennin for his answer, but anyone's answer would suffice at the moment*

::Hinata stood next to Komm, absent mindedly on hand rested against his arm as she listened. Her eyes narrowed a bit as Shunketsu explained and she shook her head::
No need to feel ashamed about losing it Shunketsu, it wasn't your fault. The fact that you went after them in the first place is honorable, but best that you had retreated. It would all have been in vain had you died there.
::she looked at the Elder::
A small task force could easily move about with less chance of being noticed. Also, we could go and find a few nin that are willing to assist from other villages and move at the same time, different locations. That way, we have a better chance that someone will be able to stop this before it gets even further out of hand

::Leaf Village - Elder's Office::
Elder: Agreed...so be it...a small task force of the most skilled we can spare shall be assembled...this group will visit other villages and recruit whoever will join the cause...but this is to be done in the least time possible, for the earlier the strike, the better our chances...
Hinata, Kuraisennin, I leave the assembling of the members of this task force to you...choose whoever you deem worthy...
Tomasu-san, I believe you will want to be included in this group...for you have taken the effort of traveling here...
One more thing...I suggest you draft Shunketsu as well for this group...not our strongest, but he may come in handy...

[[ Can't see any new posts unless it's through Topic Review. x.x ]]
Komm stretched the left-hand glove tighter onto his currently solid hand. "I know very few people personally (still alive, anyway), but I believe Hinata can group together a good team. I will escort them myself... it must be Fate, I was resting within the shadows of this world's soul when I was jolted awake by some tremor of energy... years before I should have walked in the sun again. I have to see this through personally."
He patted Hinata's shoulder gently. "Not that I'm complaining. As the saying goes, "You'll get enough sleep when you're dead." Heh..." Obviously funny to him, he's been dead for half a millenium.
"Hinata, I'm going to go regroup with my scouting Shades. Inform me when you have the team ready." He bowed to the Elder, gave a curt nod to the others in the room and then stepped back towards the window. With a jaunty wave of a glove, he fell backwards out of the aperture, the darkness waiting below engulfing him before he struck the ground. With a small gust of wind, he was gone.

::she smiled at Komm, always comforted by his cool words and easily silent ways. She turned her grin to shunketsu and winked:: Nothing like a cross country trip to work the kinks outta the old legs, right?
Well... I suppose we'll see who else we can get from Leaf, I have someone in mind, if hes still in town that us. Hopefully he hasn't run off with his bugs again. Then, since Tomasu is here, I guess we shall have to try his country next. Always best to go where you already have a foot in the door

Rice Country:
Every one had returned to the village, they had gathered only one item through their assualts on the villages. "We are on track..." "No, we need more..." "You oaf we are fine..." A young boy walked into the room carrying drinks for everyone, he left once they were distributed, "Mist will be first..."

Shunketsu: I agree...Tomasu's village would be the next best place to attain allies since one is already here...and since they still have their scroll...it could prove interesting if the enemy strikes them again...

"That sounds like a plan" said Tomasu smiling slightly. Should I wait and go back top my village with the team you assemble, or go ahead and meet you back there??"
