He continued walking for a moment, furious that his powers couldn't even grant him this one repreive when he was actively willing them to. He stopped, turning to look at her with in a thoroughly exasperated manner.

"Look... what is it? You don't even know me. If you think you know me, you don't. If you somehow do mystically know me, you won't by this time tomorrow. Just forget me." He sighed, looking at his feet for a moment. While it was very true, he hadn't intended to have another outburst with the span of about five minutes. "Sorry. It's just that it's true. You really won't remember any of this tomorrow, or most likely even later today. I'm not feeling very well, I'm heading back to my room, and I doubt the conversation will be any good during the walk from here to there, so... goodbye."

Without waiting for much of a reply he turned on his heel and continued walking, slouching somewhat more than he had been and uncomfortable adjusting his shirt.

"Hopefully awhile. I'm not ready to deal with the others," mumbled Lois.

He ran a hand thrugh his hair again. It felt nice out, a comfortable temperature after the rain. He fixed his glasses before looking at Aki.

"I don't think we ever introduced ourselves. I'm Lois."

"Aki. I think you're the first person to dislike being around people as much as I do." she said with a faint smile.

Aki generally didn't like anyone, mostly because of how they acted around her. Especially after they found out her lack of attendance to schools, or how often she'd wound up in a fight. And from the look of him, he'd react the same way. She was actually talking to him, she didn't want him finding out any time soon. Well, he would soon enough when she never showed up to anything.

Lois chuckled. "When your eyes change colors when you get mad, people aren't necessary your favorite thing," he joked.

The boy felt oddly relaxed. Of course, one reason was because there was absolutely no one around at the moment. But also because Aki shared his opinion. Being around people wasn't always the best. Of course, she probably had a total different reason why. But that wasn't relevant.

"Very true. When do classes and everything start, you know?" Aki asked. She wished it wasn't mandatory attendance. But of course, it would be. And it'd be one more school for her to be kicked out of. Well, a couple of those were actually worth it. she thought, hiding a smile as she remembered one. She'd actually gone for once, and of course one of the preps had started mocking her for everything. "Oh my god. You're actually here. What, gonna try being a geek now? I mean, you've already failed miserably at the 'punk' theme. It's sad, isn't it. None of the parlors'll believe you when you say you're 18, so you can't get those tattoo's you've begged for." She could still remember the girl's words. She had been so strange, actually thinking Aki cared. Somehow, none of the teachers appreciated it very much when she broke the girl's nose...

Aya watched the ground as she walked around. A group of geckos frolicked in the grass, but she just watched silently instead of chasing them. As they branched off in a different direction, she turned her head to watch them run. Unfortunately, she didn't see someone in front of her. She bumped into the person roughly, falling onto her back with a small thud. She looked up at the dark figure. The student scoffed and walked away. Aya blinked in the sun.
"Sorry." she said softly, though the student had already left. She sat up. She watched as other students mingled and giggled with each other, sighing.
I miss Mikayla.
A gecko crawled onto her hand. She looked down and snatched the small lizard before it could get away. She held it tenderly, careful not to hurt it. She examined the small animal curiously.
"Where's your family?"
She looked over towards the woods. She looked around in the grass, finding nothing. Glancing back at the gecko, she blinked. The lizard was still, though it was still breathing.
"Oh crap."
She placed it on the ground softly and watched.
"I'm sorry." she whispered. She shouldn't have been so mournful about Mikayla. It was causing her to be more 'active' than usual.

"What? What are you talking about, I just met you, I tripped over you!" She looked terribly confused and slightly hurt. She winced and took a step back when he started to berate her. She didn't seem to understand what he was saying. Forget him? How could she forget him when she had literally tripped over him and did a face plant in the ground? Maybe that was his power...making people forget. In which case she would apparently have to choice in the matter of forgetting him. Her shoulders slumped as she watched him walk away and she gave a meager little wave. "Bye...."

She turned and walked away keeping her eyes trained on the ground so that she avoided stepping on the gecko's that seemed content to run between her feet trying to trip her up. But she had already landed on her face once today. Would she remember falling later? Probably not she assumed, her heart sinking. She'd made a friend, only to end up forgetting probably by the end of the day. She ran the rest of the way to her room rushing into the room and closing the door behind her. She looked quickly to one bed that had all her boxes on it and then to the other bed with somebody elses things on it. She had a room mate!! She hoped they would get along.

She bolted to her bed and began tearing through the boxes eventually coming to the one that held her diary. She then spent the next five minutes trying to find a pencil or a pen. When she finally found one she grabbed it up and sat down, opening the diary to put in a new entry. "Damn...now what was I suppose to write that was so important?"

Harmony winced as her back suddenly made contact with the grassy earth. The impact was pretty sudden and it took a second for her breath to catch up with her. Looking, she saw the male student who had ran into her. " I'm fine," she said hearing his panicky question. The impact felt somewhat harder then it would usually. Maybe super strength or something, she thought. Harmony let out a sigh, what a great first encounter with someone on the island. The grass felt disgustingly damp as her back pressed against the ground.

Realizing that she was still laying on the ground, most likely looking like a freak, she attempted to get up into a sitting position. Her first try failed as she was caught off gaurd by the stronger pain in her back as she tried to get up. "Weak," she mummbled to herself. Harmony always thought of herself as a weakling, having almost no muscle in her body.

Aaron waited a moment, sighing before turning and watching her leave. He continued to watch until she'd dissappeared, having begun to run before too long, and hoped that he hadn't upset her a great deal... even if she would just forget it all fairly soon anyway. With that, Aaron made his way back to his room, walked inside, winced at the offensively beige walls and began to retreive posters, paintings, and other things from his various boxes to stifle the hideous hue.

He put his all into getting everything in his room the way he wanted it, thankfull that his "medical condition" at least gained him a single room instead of a double. Not that a double would ever work out; if he didn't make people lose memory, there was the matter of gender. If didn't change gender, there was the matter of memory. Living in the same domocile as another human being was simply not something he was capable of anymore.

Shoving these thoughts out of his mind, he put up some FMA posters, an odd woodcarving of two owls, a dreamcatcher, and a map of Cyrodill before wondering if he was allowed to use thumbtacks on the walls. Shrugging, he assembled his boxed up bookshelf before laying back on his bed. He though again about life, the universe and everything before suddenly finding himself very much asleep, his dreams somehow even less a comfort than his day had been this far, a dark place full of meaningless names and faces.

Riley watched her struggle to get up, biting his lip in frustration. This is exactly why he preferred to be locked up. He reluctantly offered his hand, worried he might hurt her even more.

"Sorry...sometimes it just happens. Can I help you," he asked, looking at her with unreadable blue eyes.

This was truly frustrating. The boy couldn't even walk without hurting someone in the process. What's so wrong with being normal?!

Before trying a second time to get up she just nodding, taking his offer to help her. It would be easier and less embarrassing incase she did fall again. Taking his hand, he let him help her to her feet. "It's okay, I'll be fine." Harmony said once back on her feet. She quickly brushed off any dirt or grass that stuck to her clothing and then looked up at Riley's blue eyes. She couldn't tell much about what he was thinking but figured that he most likely wasn't to happy about bumping into someone.

Running her finger through her hair to fix it up a little, she gently smiled. "You seemed pretty worried about running into me, what powers do you have?" Harmony asked putting her hands back into her sweatshirt pocket and slightly tilting her head.

Riley seemed unconvinced, but smiled any way. He released Harmony's hand before running a hand through his own hair.

"Super strength and speed. It could have gotten ugly. You?"

Riley's sentences were short. He hated to admit the fact that if he had been in full mutation, she could have been seriously injured. And hurting someone did not sound like fun. He'd been close to hurting his mom, but he hadn't really cared back then and he certainly didn't care now. But the girl standing in front of him was a student, and that would have been bad.

After more than his fair share of a meal, Lite propelled himself from the ground without the use of his hands. I totally need to return this tray! I shall make it a quest of timely desire he quietly declared to himself. Along the way he did his best to remember where the cafeteria was. Asking as many people as he could, he was sadly unable to remember on his own. "Hey, my name is Smokey. Do you know where the cafeteria is?" he would continue to introduce himself to each student he met, not knowing that the cafeteria was right in front of him. "The people here sure are busy! I wonder if they have a surf shack anywhere close by." He chuckled. He finally ran into the cafeteria accidentally; knocking over several students. "Oh, gosh! Sorry!" he quickly apologized to his fellow class mates. After a few inquisitions to the facilities, Lite had finally gotten his hands on a map of the school. Woah, this place is huge! And they have some docks, I totally have to check that out.

Lite had proceeded to make his way down to the docks, seldom getting lost. He launched himself from the docks into the water, causing one Hell of a ruckus with the other students either jeering or laughing at him. "Hey guys, come on in! The water's just fine," he shouted calmly. He swam about rather than getting to know the destinations of anything. Eventually he found himself a wooden plank which he used as a flotation device so he could cloud gaze from the water. "Oh right, I really hope my roommates are awesome," he monologued, taking out a pack of cigarettes and lighting one, "Aw man, how did these get wet?"

After what seemed like an eternity, the small gecko was able to at least stand, though walking still seemed to be an obstacle. She whimpered sadly. She wanted to pick it up and put it somewhere safe, where no one could step on it, but she feared that she would only make it worse. She looked around, then shook her head.
No one would want to help a gecko.
She stood up. She couldn't sit and watch forever, though she felt bad for leaving the poor thing, since she was the one that had made it like that. Taking one last look, she walked her way over to the dock, where the ship had left. A few students were playing with the water, obviously having powers relating to the liquid. She chose the one corner that wasn't populated with the water banshees throwing the substance at each other. She stared into the water, grimacing at the dead grass still in her hair. She began combing out her black hair with her hand.
"Heads up!" called out a voice.
Aya turned in time to be shot in the face with a jet stream of water. She took a step backwards to lessen the force, accidentally falling over the side.
In seconds, she felt a cool sensation all over her body. Everything was a dark blue and blurry. She broke up from the surface, splashing and gasping for air. Looking around, she spotted a sandy area and began swimming towards it. She cringed everytime she felt the slimy feeling of fish rub against her kicking legs.
Finally crawling onto the shore, she began coughing, spitting up a mix of water and saliva. She could hear a few of the kids who were on the dock exclaiming and pointing. A few were laughing.
Aya slowly stood up, wet and partly covered in sand. She began to sniff. She didn't like this place, no matter how much she told herself. She just wanted to be home, with Mother and Father and Mikayla. She didn't want to be stranded on some god forsaken island, where she didn't know anyone and would probably just cause more harm.
She wiped her eyes with her sleeve, which didn't really help, as it was wet too and just put some sand across her forehead.
She turned around towards the water and sat down. It would be better to just sit there than go in front of the whole school, drenched and crying.
