All the men had left giving Mozz a second to catch his breathe. He had come to investigate the domes in the first place and that was exactly what he was going to do. Mozz walked to the stair case he had just plummeted from moments before.
“Up we go again.” He grumbled. __-> Upper

On his way slowly down the stairs Mozz managed to poke the numbers on on his communicator watch. He smiled and sent a message through to his allies “I’ve found someone, alive but unconscious. I’m taking him back to base in three days. “

It wasn’t much farther now, though this would be Mozz’s least favorite part of the journey. They were nearing the end on the unity filed and that meant he would be the most vulnerable to attack. He had however informed his allies of his arrival. Surely they would be waiting to help him on the final stretch of the road. This hostage was heavy; it was surprised Mozz how easily the man had dragged him around. It was probably very lucky that he had been ignored.

From the Silo Dome!!!
Pulling out of the tunnel, a wave of black exhaust would follow them. Colin was almost certain he'd run over someone or something, but oops, too bad for them. He had to be somewhere. Squeaking to a stop, Colin would sigh, looking back over the seat at the more than likely dead soldier. Had lung cancer finally bested this daemon of the GUN?
The radio idea would have probably been awesome if two things hadn't happened. First, every other communique in Frostchild was dead. Not that he'd know that, but it was fun to have a third-person omniscient author dictating what he did. Second, they went through a BLOODY TUNNEL! There was a great chance that, if anything HAD come through the airwaves, they would have had a ******** hard time to pick it up.
Looking at the Palace Dome through the windshield of the Kitten Train, the scorched roof looked like one thing and one thing only.
Fun s**t to be had by all.
Popping open the driver door, Colin would toss the thing into park and look over at Shou.
So, should we drag him, or leave him here to guard the car?
A thumb motioned to the silent soldier in back.

From Echo Woods
'Big dome is big.'
Unfortunately, nothing more creative came to mind at the time as James left the woods and headed towards the Palace Dome. The place was outright enormous, and it definitely seemed like the place to start looking. At worst, the higher levels seemed like a good place to get a lay of the city and search the horizon for any huge explosions that might indicate the presence of doomsday weapons.
Or the rest of the task force.
Still taking it at an easy pace, James headed into the dome.

"Eh, we'll take him with us," Shouyin turned over and, frowning, slapped Spooky awake. Ignoring whatever protest the soldier might've made, he hopped out of the truck and started heading up the stairs.
"Make sure y'got the keys with you - God willing there's nobody 'round here who knows how to hotwire a truck," Colin, Shou and Spooky (who seemed especially stealthy in his movements) would all enter begin their way up the stairs, assumedly out of sight of their final teammate as he made his own way up the spiraling staircase, or perhaps just too far behind the man to notice him.
And in this manner did they make their way towards the Upper Reaches.

Colin would nod and follow, taking the keys with him and tossing his pack over his shoulders.
And he ascended to the Upper Reaches behind Shou and Spooky, who looked especially grumpy.

What the hell? This dome was a complicated place... mostly because it seemed to have been built with no logical design to it. Or maybe it was simply that James had no appreciation for the logic put into its design. Either way, it seemed like his options were limited at this point, seeing as he was trying to enter the Palace Dome from the outside; there didn't seem to be much for him to do other than to ascend at this point.
Maybe things would make a little more sense once his head cleared.
To the Upper Reaches.

-----> ascended way
Mozz had been here so many times already, but it was still an extravagant area. That being said, something alarmed him, he didn’t feel the tingle of the unity field. That couldn’t be good.
“Hold on guys, something seems wrong about this place.”

"You figure?"
Aiolos, concert flute in hand walked next to Mozz. He looked around the place, there wasn't anything different, but the familiar tingle of the unity field was missing. It made the place seem... Off.
"I don' feel anything." He mumbled.

Mozz placed his hand on the ground and let his mold flow.
This time, it did so
“The field is off, that why you dont feel anything. Your just as mortal here as anywhere else. Watch yourself.”
Mozz made his way to the stairs and placed his hand on the railing causing mold to grow all around it.
“Be ready for anything”

"You kidding?" Aiolos played a quiet bar of "Locomotive Breath". It echoed through the lower chamber.
"The acoustics of this place are great, as long as all the air's not sucked out of the tower we're fine." He smiled, and climbed to the uppers.

The being known as HoshiTe stepped into the Dome, her green visor displaying scan data while she spoke to someone apparently somewhere else. "This is HoshiTe, Base. Three days worth of scanning has proven little additional information at this time. Proceeding forward with caution. Probability of action occuring at upper dome, 90%. Traces of moss indicate Mozz and his team are already up there. Over."
The red cylinders encircling HoshiTe's shins lightly clanged against the ground as she moved to follow the path that Mozz had taken. She paused, and a gunpod suddenly materialized in her hands, as if formed from the fires that were her closest approximation to hair. The ten foot long pipe was noticably heavy, though the mecha girl didn't seem to mind it. She began her ascent, glancing back to assure herself that she was not alone in this.

Lah got the door open, catching the door behind him to let whoever was following him in. Partially he wanted to give it a little more time for the situation to cool down, whatever that situation happened... No, wait, that was his whole reasoning. Lah was still Lah, even if he was acting brave.

HoshiTe nodded once she saw Lahren enter, and continued up the stairs. She slowed when she noted that Aiolos and Mozz were there, and apparently waiting. Her metal cylinders still clanking gently against the beautiful Palace floor, she moved up to join them.
