Chen follows into the North Field.

Once the other group had exited to North field, Shin followed through as planned and approached the hexigonal building. Stopping short at the locked perimeter Shin took out his pick gun, a device with many movable parts that when applied to a lock would set off the internal pins and cause it to open. Shin did just that and in a few seconds the lock popped open. He then proceeded to open the fence slowly as to not cause too much noise, you never knew who else might be around.
Once inside, he simply close the fence and draped the lock where it had stood before, not wanting to lock himself inside. He did not idle out in the open for long but took quick steps towards the actual door of the building. The second lock was fairly similar to other and he made quick work of that as well. Only once inside did he put away his lock gun.

Caesar squatted low to the ground, flipping through the log, when the lock gun popped the fence lock. The noise was enough to alert Caesar-- the rest of the asylum was eerily quiet.
He stood, putting the log down, and glanced from one of the observation windows towards the approaching character. Noting it was a fellow pirate, moving in the open, Caesar rapped on the glass and waved to get his attention.
Either that, or look utterly harmless when he opened the door anyways. Caesar didn't bother trying to explain why he was in the locked room. Instead he beat the other man to the opportunity to speak, asking him to, "look at this; they left a log. The captain may want to see this."

Marius slammed his fist into his open palm. "I got it! They're gone, yeah? Main building's got to have a safe."
Kuji nodded, following his captain to the main building.
"Well now, didn't the rough the place up," Marius observed as he stepped inside and through a broken wall. "Okay, let's find us the bank!"

Shin quirked his eyebrow up as the man who had disappeared waved at him, he was too eager to bring attention to himself. They were after all in somewhat deserted city where only god knows what happened here. No need to bring any attention down on yourself, anyone could see ya. Friend and foe alike. How the hell did he get in there anyway?
Brushing the question aside for a moment, Shin entered in and was greeted with a logbook. And the man talking about how it might hold some importance to the captain. Shin highly doubted that and he said so right off the bat. "If the log book doesn't say where the treasure is, I doubt the captain will be interested. But go ahead and tell me what you think is so interesting about it." As he replied his eyes flashed across the room, pausing at the barrel of weapons.

"It's got, presumably, the time everyone in frostschild disappeared to within an hour or so." Caesar flipped to the last entry and jabbed at it.
"That information could be worth something. More than what else we have in here."
Caesar shrugged, pocketed the book into the duster, and headed towards the door. "Unless rubber bullets are worth a lot more than I think. Where is the captain, anyways?"

That was interesting. The man was right, that information might be handy although Shin could not see much of its use at the moment. The man made a comment about the poor quality of the avaliable weaponry but Shin didn't see eye to eye on that matter. One man's trash was another man's treasure. Sure the rubber loaded shotguns were crap but there were still stun guns and batons. And when you mix a stun gun and a baton...
"You're gotta talk a better look around, I see some oportunity here for better arming ourselves. Watch."
Shin moved over to one of the nearby desks where guard would eat donuts and read magazines. He rummaged through the draws looking for something, something no man goes without.
It took a couple of seconds but he found what he was looking for, duck tape. Moving to the barrels, he picked up a stun gun and a baton. He held the stun gun to the other end of the baton and secured them together with duck tape.
"Voila, a stun staff. See... whatever your name is, you just gotta look harder."

That earned a grin from Caesar. "Where I'm from, we call that a cattle prod." His voice betrayed easily that he was, in fact, quite impressed with the man's ingenuity and was honestly surprised to see stun guns below the Tasers. He grabbed a club and stun gun himself, "Hand me that tape, will you?"
He went about strapping together a duplicate of the weapon. It was crude, but would probably work adequately to deliver the jolt of the stun gun fine-- it only had to hold together for a few seconds. And Caesar did appreciate the nonlethal capability.
He spoke while he worked, "the name's Caesar." Indeed, it was pronounced say-sar; whether as a proper attribute or a result of his accent was unclear. "And who are you, my clever friend?"

Seemed this man was a certified cowboy, his description of the weapon just another piece of evidence to support that claim. As if his accent, clothing and ease among fields of corn wasn't enough to convince anyone. Shin stored that note away in case they ever needed help with something like herding animals or something. I mean, who knew what they would find once they got deeper into this place.
He tossed over the tape when it was requested and pulled up one of the tasers from the barrel just for good measure. As he placed the taser in the small of his back beside his pistol, he answered the Caesar's question. "People call me Ace."
He paused, taking one more looking around and finding nothing more of interest he decided it was best to leave. "Lets go find the captain, unless you wanna make more of these for the others. Not much else to do."

Caesar deposited the tape into his small pack -- which now would carry two such rolls -- and looked at the barrel. It was small, and they did not intend to go far. "We can make the offer once we find them."
He emptied the weapons barrel of all but a few stun guns and clubs, and dropped his finished prod in it as well. "Good the meet you, Ace."
With the small barrel loaded and in arm he moved to the door. "Let's go track down our officer." He intended to head back to the first building Marius had entered.

"Nice to meet you too," Shin responded as he too made his over to the door. Seeing as he was the one without a burden to carry, he guess it was his job to open the doors. He hadn't locked any of the doors behind him, so it wouldn't take that much time for him to open the first door and kick out the door stop. And then proceed out to the fence and open that door too. After leaving both door open he would stand by the fence, keeping that door from closing shut as Caesar exited.

In such a manner they were able to proceed back to the first building. On the way, it would become obvious that the other perimeter buildings had not been ransacked-- which left two options to Caesar.
He spoke up: "Either Marius went back to the ship with whatever was in that building, or he's inside the big one. Was there much in that first one?"

Marius was in the big building, happily helping himself to the safe. Stacks and stacks of money shoved into his mysterious coat pocket, all vanishing. If he was lucky, he might even be able to keep this loot between him and Kuji.
"They're out 'n about," Kuji mentioned, watching from the open doorway. "Best hide what yer doin' and get ther attention. Wha's next on th'agenda?"
"Aren't there some rich homes near the Sabre? That'd be worth a look, wouldn'it?"

Caesar grunted in a vague acknowledgment and followed suit, looking out beyond the complex of the asylum more so than at the main building. The open spaces left him feeling a bit too little concealed: if the men they had previously avoided came back with longarms, it would be a terrible spot to be ambushed from. Subsequently, he moved with some speed towards the gaping hole that served as an entrance.
