((Beach Bar))
RoChan smiled up at the brown haired girl. “Tango, huh?” She tasted the name before letting it slide away past her memory. RoChan was never very good with names. Probably had something to do with the fact that her attention was always shifting to something else every few seconds. She gave the dog a small pat on the head before straightening up. “Cute dog.” She commented before turning back to the green haired girl and the offered ‘water in a glass.’
With a soft laugh she winked at the petite woman. “Glad to be of service! Another day saved from the misdeeds of not being specific.” RoChan chuckled not minding the joke at all. Frankly it was nice to see such good natured people from time to time. Taking two large gulps of water, RoChan chugged down the cool water with a happy sigh. “Free refills right?” Geez was she thirsty today and she hadn’t even started sweating yet.
At the boy’s introduction RoChan pulled her beach bag off her shoulder before placing it on the counter of the bar. “Nice to meet you Kale.” Yet another name that was soon to be forgotten. At least she manged the first five seconds. That was long enough right?
RoChan had responded while digging through her bag again to answer Kale's question. “I actually came because of this!” She pulled out a sheet of paper with crazy writing all over it and a large ‘X’ marking a place.
“Ah! No, wait! Wait... I got it...” RoChan shoved the treasure map back into her large bag and pulled out a colorful flyer. “I mean I came because of this!” She tapped the part that said Fund Raiser. “I know someone that’s part of the Lab. Though I haven’t seen her in months. So I thought I’d come and help out.
“I’m also looking for someone.” RoChan stated matter-of-factly all the while smiling. “By the way my name is RoChan.” She peered at Mouse and Anita expectantly.

"Psh, is never ta early to be ******** up, girl!" He snatched the bottle from the counter and slid the glass closer. He was pretty sure he was going to drink the whole bottle, but he didn't want to get his cooties all over the neck and have someone woe. "I'mma an adul' under control..." We`rika stuck out his tongue at the non-believers and poured himself a steady shot and tossed it back easily with a long sigh. But when his head snapped back, his sweat-slicked white hair hit something something nice and soft, and with his mouth gaping, he looked up at a young woman. "Oh sorry, honey..." He smiled like a bufoon and didn't bother hiding eyehumping her rack. That's what they were there for anyways.

Ani smiled her thanks, sighing a small 'yeah' in response to RoChan's opinion of Tango. She kept a close watch on him, resting her chin in the palm of her hand, elbow leaning against the counter. Kale seemed rather interested with her companion, and vice versa. It struck her as odd, but not entirely unpleasant.
As she was about to introduce herself to the both of them she felt a small vibration pulse against her hip. Holding up a finger telling them to wait a moment as she fumbled around in her shoulder bag, finally pulling out the vibrating cellphone. "Yo?"
Tango more then likely had, animals had ways of sensing things humans never could, but with a lack of feeling threatened there was really no need for such reactions from him. Ice cube finished, the large dog had taken to laying there and panting again, glancing about, ears swiveling here and there to listen to the ocean and the conversations. In any silence between vocal exchanges, his heaving breath took up the rest of it.
Another ice cube would be nice.

Well... this was a fundraiser event, and something told the girl it wouldn't be a bad idea to plug it here. "Technically yes, but donations are always welcome. I don't think Dr. Kyou likes the idea of any more new Raevans being able to escape because all the walls in the lab aren't quite rebuilt yet." She indicated towards a donation box near the game sign-up sheets, which was probably there to trigger the generosity of people who were coming here for the competitive portion of the party.
"RoChan, huh?" Well, that was something. She didn't come across many people who had unusual names, and it felt like something she could relate to. "I'm Mouse. And maybe I should make a nametag or something so I don't have to introduce myself a hundred times..." She pointedly ignored We'rika's retaliation, but couldn't help but laugh a little bit at his lack of shame.
A look of pure bliss that would quickly become familiar to her new friend reached Dayo's face and stayed there even as the handshake was broken. The metal parts of her wristguard bit off a couple strands of her hair, but she seemed to neither notice nor care - a closer look at the little belt buckles would show that sort of thing happened quite often.
Her look faltered a bit as the drink was presented to her, not entirely sure how to respond. "But it is yours..."
She had never had much interest in drinking, and thus this would be as new an experience as the hand-shaking. It was one she wasn't too sure she wanted to partake just yet, however.

"Ani!" Tony was relieved to hear her friend answer the phone, and relaxed instantly at the sound of her voice. "Uhm... I'm in the parking lot, I just got here. Where are you at? How can I find you?" She inquired, still scanning the beach for any sign of her friend.
All of a sudden, she felt a lot more certain about this. Sure she didn't know anyone here, but it was a chance to get out of her apartment and enjoy the sunlight and the company of lots of new people. She needed that, badly, considering that almost all of her time was spent in front of a computer screen, clicking away and type type typing, trying to get work done. The only times she ever really left the safety of her home was to get food or other supplies. That was it. Stock up, and head back home. No need for a load of food though. She was too busy to cook. That's why they invented delivery!

[Beach Parking Lot --> Beach Bar Buffet]
Being around in the neighbourhood most of the time meant that there are most certainly things that one will bound to hear. One of it was the fund raising event.
After a while of find a spot in the parking lot and trying to squeeze in it, Agni finally managed to grab his stuff and get out, in to the burning heat. He cursed softly and walked towards what seemed like the place of the event. Angi's fringe was pinned up so that his eyes were visible and that the sweat soaked hair wouldn't be stuck onto his forehead. Wearing just a simple striped tee-shirt and a pair of swimming trunks decorated with swirls, he slowly made his way to the bar and plopped his a** onto a seat just slightly away from the crowd.
Agni looked about the place. All of the people around were unknown to him and he felt kind of strange and extra. Stretching out a little, he decided to get some question answered before he went about. "Excuse me," he said loud enough for anyone around him to hear should the bartender not. "Hope you don't mind me asking but, what is this fundraiser for?"

"Hold up, I'm at the buffet, I'm come get you," she uttered a simple 'bye' into the phone before hanging up and stuffing it back into her back, standing from the stool and issuing a few coos and clicks of her tongue towards Tango to get him to stand up again as she undid his leash. "Sorry, guys, I'll be back in a bit but I've gotta go help a friend out. Um, I'm Anita," she stuck one hand out quickly, hoping for a very short shake, "And I'll see you guys again in a little bit."
Before leaving, Ani gave an acknowledging glance to everyone present at the bar, and especially lingering on the two Raevans, before starting back off to where she had first entered.
It took just a few minutes, and she took note of how full the parking lot was already just in comparison to, what, fifteen minutes ago? It took a few moments, but Tony's car was easy to spot among the others, and she nudged Tango along. Once he noticed who it was they were going towards he sped up, huffing excitedly. "Sorry! I got a little caught up! Dude, they've got these... these... auh, I can't explain it, but You have to see them!" her articulation of the Raevan's failed considerably. Even if she had found suitable words, she wouldn't have been able to describe them adequately. It was something you just had to see for yourself...

Aki leaned away as the young man leaned into her, brushing clean the place where he'd touched her with one slow, deliberate flick of her hand. "Very sorry." She commented, and put several yards of cold distance between them.
Pasha tilted her head at Dayo, and laughed just a bit. "Not if I give it to you! I can have the next one! Unless you don't want it...?" Melisande looked askance at Aki, suddenly unsure where to go from there.
Aki smiled, smothering her sigh at having to walk by the bar leech again. "I get the picture. Another virgin colada, coming up!"

"Taaangooo~" Tony dropped down onto her knees in front of the dog as he ran up to her, and playfully started to scratch the sides of his face and behind his ears. She snuggled close to the warm, soft dog, then pulled away and stood up to greet her friend with a smile.
"It's okay. I just-- got what?" Tony stopped mid sentence as Ani started to explain, but failed to. Her friend had not given her any details aside from that there was a beach party, and that Tony should come along too. But she didn't know who was holding the party, if it was some club or whatever...or the type of people who'd be there. So what was Ani trying to explain to her?
Surely it couldn't be anything that exciting. Tony had seen just about everything there was to see thanks to the convenient little tool called the internet. But her friend seemed enthusiastic about it, and that grabbed her attention thoroughly enough. She raised an eyebrow at her. "What are you talking about? Show me!" She insisted, grinning.

(( Parking Lot . . . around the corner ))
"Come on, Lucia!" Yuurei yelled. "We're running late." Lucia floated out of Yuurei's car and fluffed her hair. The heat made her hair all fluffy. . . not in a good way. "We're not late," Lucia rolled her eyes. "You just don't know how to get anywhere on time," Lucia said under her breath. Lucia shook out her hair trying to make it fall perfectly. "Why'd you park down the street anyway? The sign over there says that it's a quarter mile to the beach." "Wha. . . " Yuurei's head slowly turned to the sign and her head rolled backwards in frustration. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I thought this was it!"
Lucia shook her head; she was getting used to the absentmindedness of her guardian. "Let's just go from here." Yuurei looked over at Lucia and shrugged. Grabbing her beach bag from the car, Yuurei started walking the way that the sign pointed. Lucia shrugged and floated after her.

-( Beach Bar Buffet )- Kale shifted as RoChan turned away a bit of the nervousness escaped in a sigh. He looked down to the floor shifting again on his feet. He never kept perfect balance but as he shifted he took his seat again pushing around a small coin which laid still on the counter. Listening to Ani leave Kale frowned as his source of interaction faded again to zero. Looking closely at the few crowds of people Kale kept silent, not approaching anyone. Pulling out a small phone Kale tapped a few keys on it, trying to figure out how to send something. Grunting in annoyance Kale slid the phone shut and laid it down on the counter. Annoyed at just about everything Kale let himself go "ghostly" and he slid of the stool back to the floor. Standing up immediately he hoped no one noticed him slide through a solid stool. He sagged walking to the edge of the buffet, he was tired.

Ani had to stifle a giggle that presented itself more of a strange squeak, wrapping Tango's leash further around her wrist as she waved for Tony to follow along. Running barefoot on the hot pavement--awesome. She and the dog kept a fairly steady pace with one another. He wasn't a very fast one. Sand eventually began to kick up as they continued, and Ani quickly lead Tony back to where she had first seen one of these 'Raevan's'.
Ekundayo.
Both of them still seemed present and accounted for, and as interesting looking as ever.
Not getting too close, Ani pointed shortly to the two Raevan's. She didn't want to go up and just start a conversation with them. Frankly, she wasn't even sure if they could speak anything she could understand--not close enough--and so, instead, she meandered back over to the bar. Back to Mouse. She noted Kale and the blue haired woman were still there, and she nodded to them, but she had a mission at that moment.
"Excuse me, Mouse. Hi. Could, um.. could you tell my friend and I a bit more about your Raevan? And... that other one, there?" this time she nodded in Melisande's direction instead of pointing, knowing it to be a fairly rude action.

“Mouse…I like that name.” RoChan gave the girl a wide grin being careful not to bare her fangs or anything. There was a higher chance to remember her name verses the girl who gave her name, a quick shake, and then fled. "Did you... Did you catch that?" She questioned with a small tilt to her head.
Casting a quick glance to the donation box, Kale's movements caught her attention for the briefest of moments and RoChan looked on through the corner of her eye for a moment. Returning her gaze to Mouse she forced a smile. "Sign up for events? What are they?" She purposely ignored the box and it's calling for the goodness of people's heart and warmth. It was hard for her to give money out. Money was… well no wait she was stingy and a tightwad. A complex she hoped to get over by the end of the day… at least for today.
She pointedly ignored the loud man who had no decency and smiled at the lovely girl behind him in greeting.
“Well I have markers if that helps. You can probably use a napkin for paper if we’re short on that.” An odd tickling sensation passed through her spine as she chatted with Mouse. Perhaps she was the one RoChan was looking for? Digging into her bag she pulled out a business card of the shop and was about to give it to the girl when another boy came up. Turning towards the petite woman, the blue haired girl remained silent letting her explain the situation. After all RoChan knew only by the flyer that it was a fundraiser not on what it was for exactly.

We`rika big lopsided grin melted into a shocked look, like a kicked puppy. Well a kind of ugly fangy kicked puppy with a beard. His jaw snapped shut with a frown and he pulled his head back up. He didn't cooties.
Okay actually he wasn't so sure about that. It had been awhile since he'd last been to the doctor to get uhh all that "stuff" checked out. Pouring himself another shot, he followed the woman back to where she stood, by another Raevan.
And that made him wonder where Sevilin was. He twirled around on his bar stool and looked back at the beach. "Sev'lin!"
"What!?" Sevilin pulled his straw hat back to squint out at his guardian. He saw We`rika motioning him over and he floated over to the shaman and hung against his shoulder as per usual. "Ew yer sweaty..." The sea fairy whine without any real heat, not bothered enough by it to actually move. He saw Dayo in the corner of his eye and waved cheerfully at her.

Thoroughly confused, this one was. But excited all the same, for if Ani was so excited about something, whatever it was...well, it was probably something interesting, though she hadn't the slightest clue what it could possibly be. It was just a silly beach party, what more could there be to it than that?
As she followed her friend, it became quite clear just how wrong she was. First she slowed to a stop, her eyes widening at the sight of the Raevens before them. Then she hurried up again, sandals kicking up sand behind her in her attempt to catch up to Ani again. "Ani!" She gasped, running up to her and catching her by the arm. "What are these things? This is a joke, right? Some kind of..." She felt at a loss for words as she turned back to look at the Raevens, pushing her glasses further up on the bridge of her nose. Her mouth was slightly gaping as she cocked her head to the side, not wanting to blink for fear that the beautiful creatures would disappear. What were they? Were they even real? It had to be some kind of joke, surely, some kind of technology, perhaps a hologram? She'd never seen anything like them before. No, she was not dedicated purely to technology and science. Gaia was a big world, full of loads of different things, a lot of which didn't make any sense. And she'd seen plenty of things that shouldn't be real, but they were. But these...
