Hakuma regained his breath and quickly began to start another fire in his left hand. He breathed deeply and calmly, while keeping a good pace with the Dawn leader. Soon, warmth began to reappear as the Azure flame in his hand started up brightly. "Much better..." Hakuma commented on the warmth. "So how did you come to know how to use fire?" Hakuma asked with a false sense of curiosity. For he really just wanted to compare her way of fire to his and see if she does something different that may help him improve.

"How did I come to know fire? My father taught me, of course." she smiles, realizing that this boy may not know exactly who her father was. "But since I'm not technically human, it's probably a bit easier for me." she snaps her fingers, a navy flame nipping at the cold breeze around them. She takes a small breath, exhaling towards the tiny flame, and it shoots forward, melting the majority of snow before them on the ground. "It's always fun to play around.... experiment, you know?" she raises her other hand, playing with the small flame in her hands as if it was clay. "To use one's inner talent, one must experiment."

"Experiment?" Hakuma questioned, but soon after began to get an understanding what she meant. Hakuma isn't limited to just the moves the monks show him, it takes a little... customization from the user to be able to optimize the power, precision, ect. "I was taught by the monks.... that's probably obvious by now. THe only difference between their fire and mine was that I was the only one who seemed to be able to use a blue fire, while the rest of them were limited to the usual red-orange. They said that I was able to use the Azure flame because I have a powerful flow of spiritual energy." Hakuma explained as he kindled his fire with more slow, deep breaths.

"Ah." the captain nods, storing that bit of information for later. "Mine's just kinda.... blue." she closes her hands sharply, then releases them. The color changed, now a bright green. "If you can twist the right elements into the right minerals in the air, the flames change color." she smiles lightly, waving her hands like some sort of magician. The fire flickers between colors before settling back to it's normal blue. "I just like the color blue, I guess. Nothing special like super spirit energy. I'm kinda boring." she snickers, clapping her hands to change it to a dark, nearly black purple color. "This is what it was originally...."

Hakuma was awed at the spectacle of colors of fires she had created. "And none of that has to do with spirit energy?" Hakuma questioned. He simply thought she was joking, and that she must have a great spirit to have created such colors, but humored her. "That's...amazing..." Hakuma kept his fire lit and moved at a faster pace. "So, how longer should it be till we find the city?" Hakuma asked.

"It might.... but it's different for me. I'm not a human like you." she smiled, her tone teasing. It was true she wasn't human, but what that had to do with pretty colors in fire she didn't get. It might be different for monks, who knew. Shrugging mentally, she allowed the fire to shift back to it's normal navy color. "The City? We'll get there soon enough, no worries. We must pass the barrier first anyway."

"A barrier?" Hakuma said briming with his questions that had started when they first met. "What does the barrier protect the city from?" Hakuma asked. He assumed it was to make sure that unwanted guests remained out... most likely, but Hakuma wanted the answer to come from someone who was absolutely sure and not from his own assumption.

"To keep people like me," she points at herself, "out. But they can't keep me out, yay~" she smiles, obviously amused at this. "Well, not really people like me, but people from other factions and stuff..... if they managed to even make it to the top of the mountain in the first place...." she shrugs, her tiny flame flaring with the action. "Which isn't many, but it happens sometimes, and then there's always finding the stupid city after that. They're over cautious, in my opinion." she shakes her fist, apparently annoyed at their precautions. "I mean really, location is all they need. The mountain itself is annoying enough! Look at my castle, after all. Surrounded by water and forests and stuff. A surprise attack would be impossible, seeing as the forest is filled with our allies! I have mountains too, but I don't have to go and build a freaking city on top." ranting on about the three various fortresses, the Dawn captain lets slip a little too much, and stops herself. "But you never heard any of that." she smiles at him, the action seeming more like a threat. "Hm~?"

"Heard any of what?" Hakuma said, getting the picture. He still wasn't used to getting deep into conversation, but so far he's seemed to have gotten through so far without too much trouble. "So, when I get there... who do I have to see about joining? Who would it be? What would they look like?" Hakuma asked, continuing his bombardment of questions.

"You know what? I dunno." she replies, shrugging. "Your actual faction leader is pretty anti-social, so I'd suggest walking around in search of a knight, and ask them about it." she replies, pleased that he had understood what she'd meant. "The city itself is pleasant enough, but it's too bright and stuff. I'll keep my nice castle, thank you very much."

Hakuma nodded as he continued walking forward. As much as he enjoyed all of this traveling he was doing, Hakuma was growing a little impatient, but his virtue made him keep his positive composure and remain patient. "Do you know how big the city is? Could you compare it to something, like the floating island where we met?" Hakuma asked.

"It's around that size, yes." she replies, nodding. In truth, the Holy City was huge. Seeing as it was one of the oldest factions, this mad sense. Her own faction could remain within her castle, for they were a much newer group. "It's extremely large, and it should be an astounding difference compared to wherever you're from, monk." she adds, continuing to mess around with the her fire. "We're getting closer to the barrier, so be ready for it.

"Be ready for it...." Hakuma almost questioned but simply acknowledged the fact that the barrier would be soon. Hakuma didn't know what to expect now that she kept mixing what she said. Around the size of the island? Or is it Super-large? This Dawn Leader was so confusing to Hakuma

"Yes yes, be ready for it. Usually only stronger warriors can make it through, but I'm going to attempt to bring you through with me. Now shush for a while, I need to formulate a plan." she replies, not at all trying to be rude in her tone of voice. Her hand resting lazily on the hilt of her sword. Sighing, she ran through multiple possibilities in her mind. {To the Celestial Zenith~}

A white blur could be seen as Denian flew to the city reaching the beginings of the barrier he landed. Denian gave a sigh hoping that he would be able to find something leading him in the right direction twords were Gabrielle. No matter what he would protect her or provide aid to her some way. Denian had grown to miss Gabrielle a great deal over the years that he has not seen her. Making him have a void his being because when he was younger everything they did they did together and unlike what the monks thought it was no burden being a friend to a beautiful young woman like Gabrielle. Denian walked threw the barrier and headed to the merchants area headed mostly for black smiths incase she had repairs done on her wepons or armor he would be able to find out. Denian had found out along his long traveling that money goes a long way to be able to find information.
