Norryk while tentatively, resumed aiding in drying her fur. Despite the eventual some what form of warmth his teeth still mashed together.
"We...should likely find a cave. I will not leave you alone while your wings are damp. If we stay out here, we may turn to pop sickles." he rose up slowly and waited to see if she'd follow, his wing was stiff but he made it curl back like the other. "which I mind you I am not found of the idea."
He walked along side her, trying to stay close to provide what warmth he had although.

She nodded, shivering as she got to her feet to follow. She didn't understand why he wanted to stay with her, but she would rather not understand than be cold, alone and virtually helpless. While she wasn't a pushover, she wasn't a fighter by any means. So instead she remained quiet, following him, sticking close.

They moved threw the forest that had surrounded them. In some fashion he knew his way around this forest. He'd come here enough times after all. Musing he peered around and moved her threw a small winding sections of trees until they came across a small cave entrance.
"It is rather warm in here, it should do for the eve." he entered first, least there was anything in the cave. When he was certain this was not so, he settled down on the ground and flexed his wings to make a shelter of his one for her.

Her head down, she followed him. Reaching the cave, she peered inside, but did follow him in. With a small sigh, she slunk down beside him, slowly moving closer to him until she was touching him again.
"T-thank you," she murmured, not looking at him.

Norryk shook his head softly as he put his necklace back on with some difficulty. Once done he settled against her and sighed, both a content sound...and a worried one.
"No nee...ddd to thank me." He said shuddering, resting his chin on the back of her neck. "I only hope...this will not harm the beginnings of this friendship." He murmured the last part, eyes closing.

She shook her head, eyes searching his face. After a moment, she moved closer to him and closed her own eyes, that smile tugging at her lips.
"No.. I think it only improves it," she murmured.

Several months would go by, the two did in fact become closer. Every night the devil would come to dance once more under the light of the moon. He would always choose Hell's Messenger although. Never some one else. They had grown close
It was on one of these nights that he came to see her. Long mane moving with the wind current, he lowered himself to the earth. Gazing around he frowned. "Ravyn?" It had nearly been 6 months since the night in the cave. They had not gotten "intimate" if you will until a few weeks ago.
His rosary reflected in the crystal blue lake. His red eyes searched for her.

She was hiding on the outskirts, frantic. Pacing back and forth, she watched him, dark gray eyes sad. It had been six months since that first night, and she cared for the devil, it was obvious. She wouldn't still seek his company if she did not, and she certainly would not have become intimate with him. That had only been a recent thing, only a few weeks, but yet, she knew something had changed. She had changed, her body had changed. And she was terrified of what Norryk would say. She was afraid he would get angry, but she was mostly afraid he would leave. She'd felt what it was like to have someone, and she didn't want to lose that. Slowly, with her head down, she moved out of the shadows and towards him, loathing what she had growing inside her and what she had to say.

Norryk relaxed ever so slightly when he saw her. He'd... had a moment of panic to the tune of her not being here. His ease did not last, by the way she held herself and walked something was terribly wrong.
"Ravyn?" he said, concern clear in his voice. The tiger striped devil's brow furrowed, crimson eyes studying her. "What is wrong..." He gently nuzzled at her. He did not know of what grew inside her.. even if he did he would still be happy. These past 6 months had been a happy time for him.... he wanted to stay with her.

The spotted female bit her lip as she reached him. She looked up at him with sad eyes, really not sure how to say what she needed to say. Her ears flattened against her head and she looked away, deciding it was best to just... blurt it out. She had a message for him after all.
"Norryk.. I think.. I think I'm expecting.. children. I think I'm pregnant." She felt her eyes watering and couldn't look at him. "I am so sorry.."

He studied her for a moment, his red eyes closed as he listened to her words. At the sound of the pained note..and the struggling for composure he gently shook his head and moved closer to her.
He nuzzled her gently before murmuring into her ear. "Ravyn. Do you wish to Dance with the Devil?" his gaze shifted to peer into her sad gray eyes with his own more certain red ones.

Ravyn took a step back in surprise, staring at him. Dance? Was he daft? She had told him something terrible and he had just put it aside and asked her to dance?
"Norryk... Do you understand what I just told you?" she asked slowly, finally looking into his eyes. "This isn't the time for dancing!" Her voice was shrill. She had been so panicked and he just dismissed it!

A curious look passed through his face. "You take me literally." He stepped towards her an unreadable expression in his red eyes. Sighing he nosed at her hair to move it from her gray eyes. "I do not mean "dance" in the fashion you speak of Ravyn." Sighing the devil sat down beside her, close.
"Even in light of what you have told me Ravyn, I want to stay with you." He said looking into her eyes. His resolve was set. "What my statement meant, would you choose to stay with this man as well? To dance is to take action, to go with the hearts desire and move accordingly. Thus my asking." He murmured nuzzling her.

Her eyes widened more, it was almost a comical expression. That was almost even more unexpected than being asked to dance. Standing shock still, she stared at him as he spoke and nuzzled her. He... wanted to stay. With her. And the pups inside of her. Looking down at her stomach, she felt like the world was collapsing in, everything was just so... foreign and surreal. She was pregnant. And the father wanted to stay with her. It was just so unforeseen... She had to lie down, though she kept her gaze on Norryk, even though her face burned.
"Gods.. yes. I would like that very much, Norryk.." she murmured.

Norryk led her to lay down, and yes joined her. "I am glad Ravyn." he wanted to help raise there unborn pups, and yes ultimately he wanted to stay with her. Resting his chin across her back he sighed softly. "I do apologize for not explaining myself." He laughed that gently sound of his that said he was either embarrassed or pleased. Likely both.
He gazed at her of what he could see given he was lying on her some what. "Thank you for telling me Ravyn....I must admit I am happy." He closed his eyes and licked at her ear affectionately.
