Celebor smiled. "I look forward to trying each and every one of your recipes in the future," he said warmly, his eyes shining as he looked at her.
He took a sip of his tea as he thought about her final question.
"Well," he began softly, "I was thinking ... earlier when you were gone ... it got awful lonely there for a while ... and ... we already know that I'm going to be going away for a few days every month, to go back to Arda and hunt slavers ... and I ... I don't want you to feel the same loneliness when I'm gone ..."
He took another sip of tea, wondering how he could put this to make himself clearest. He could see no easy route around it, so he decided to put it straightforwardly.
"What would you think of us starting our own family?"

Niyana smiled it was nice to have someone to cook for now.
She let her mind wander as she watched the graceful way he drank. But was quickly brought back to reality when his voice started.
She knew she could not stop him from going out and she really didn't want too...no one should be a slave and more so not someone who was still a child. She nods slowly. "I know you wont be around...and it kills me that you have to be the one who must bare with being alone far longer than I will."
She let him take another drink and smiled at him warmly. "But Celebor we already have started our own family." She looked around, "We have this wonderful house and each other....and even if your away I know you will come back sooner or later for me."

Celebor smiled faintly.
"But I at least will be occupied," he murmured, reaching across the table and putting his hand over hers. "It will be harder for you here where you don't have anyone at all to keep you company, and not as much to keep your mind busy ... especially at night."
He hesitated a moment longer.
"I know ... we are a family now," he smiled at her. "But ... what about expanding it? Niyana, I love you, more than words can express ... and we have joined together in many ways already ... emotionally ... spiritually ... physically ... what if we had a manifestation of our love, children who were in every way a part of us both? Then you wouldn't have to be alone when I'm gone either ..."
He trailed off, looking at her anxiously, waiting nervously for her answer.

Niyana shook her head, "If you can I...." she said as he started to speak but shut her mouth as his hand covered her. She could feel the small burning of such a simple touch. What would she do at night when he was not there to lay beside her? She had never needed someone there wail she slept like she did with him.
"Your nights will be lonely too my lord..." She said during his hesitation. She was about to ask what he meant by expanding it when he filled in the blank in her mind. Her cheeks grew red as his words described their joinings she could guess what was going to come next but still she was not ready for the word child to actually be mentioned. She felt her heart stop.
Well thier relationship always did seem to go by fast. But....She flushed and looked down at the table the thought running threw her mind. The small fear nagging at the back of her mind, he was a prince...and in the stories not told to children the prince or king would keep a lover on the side and have her raise the children wail he went and found himself another woman one of more noble blood to marry and have the real heirs with.
No she knew Celebor was not like that. "B...but what about you....on those nights...who will be there for you." she didn't want to ask whose bed will you be in, becuase she knew he would be alone in on the ground waiting for the next time he went to face his possible death to save those who needed help.
She took a breath and look at their hands. "C..children? I would be lucky just to help form one Celebor." she wanted to pull his hand from his but left it where it was. "I am never good with children...it was just luck that your sister liked me...and it is the paint and adventure of coming to this world that got your new brother excited. What happens if I hurt our kids or...break their vases?"

Celebor's eyes grew soft and sad at her response to his question. He knew what he would be facing, and he knew that she was right about him being alone as well, but he was worried about her, not him.
"Niyana," he murmured, moving around the table to sit next to her, "I will be with three other men, watching the darkness to guard us from attacks ... my mind will be busy ... I will be missing you, I will dream of you, day and night, but it will be harder on you if you are alone. I have seen you with children, and I know that it was not luck that you got along so well with both Idhril and Jair ... I may not know much about my brother, but I know that Idhril is very shy, and that you are the first friend she ever made. Everything you do, everything you say, you naturally get along with everyone I know."
He put one arm around her shoulder and drew her close, resting her head on his shoulder and his head on hers.
"It would be impossible for you to hurt our children," he murmured into her hair, "I know it ... and I also know that you would take as good care of their vases as you have taken care of your own and as I know you will care for mine. I know that you will be a wonderful mother, I have seen it in you, and I would love to share that experience with you."
He kissed the top of her head tenderly. "And I will stay here with you for as long as it takes for you to feel comfortable before I go on another trip," he promised.

Niyana wince a bit as he moved over to her. Had she given him a wrong answer? She let him draw her close and as soon as her head rested onto his shoulder her arms moved around his back to hold him close.
She laughed lightly, "I didn't care of mine....I stuffed my vase high up in a tree." She didn't want to point out that he would be gone so it would be hard for him to share it with her always. She knew it would only be for a day maybe two their time but he would still have to suffer alone for months.
"I could never harm something of yours. And it would be nice see little elves wanting to grow up to save everyone like their father..." she said softly. "I don't want to be a distraction to your work my lord. If you were to be called when we just got their vases I would not ask you to stay....but Celebor do you want to have children because of our love....or because you don't want me to be lonely?" she pulled back a little to look up at him.
Why was it in his arms she felt safe, in his arms she could not say no to him. She should just forget the childish thoughts of fear or worry that played threw her mind. He had proven over and over his loyalty and love for her and what had she done to show him hers? She moved her fingers to his lips so he would not answer her last question she did not care if it was for her loneliness or if he really wanted them. It was finally something she could do for him. "I will try to find the goddesses tomorrow so we can have something physical and real of our love...so that all can see the strength of it. " She smiled trying to lighten the mood, "And so you have an added reason to come home my lord."

Celebor held her close and rubbed one hand on her back soothingly.
"Up in a tree your vase may have been," he murmured, "but it is still in perfect condition ... that to me says that you did take good care of it."
He pressed his lips against her forehead, his breath shaking slightly as he realized what he had made his idea sound like. Of course he didn't want children just as companions for Niyana when he was gone, how could he have made her think that? He had to be careful with his words so that he didn't offend her.
"I need no more reason than you to rush home," he breathed. "You are all that I will ever need. If you don't want children, then we don't have to have any ... we can be a family alone, you and I, if that is your wish."
Though he did think it would be wonderful to have mini thems running around.

Niyana shut her eyes just enjoying the feel on him close. His warm breath on her skin. He heightened everything for her But as he said they didn't have to her heart break.
She shook her head against him. "Celebor I want to have children with you..." She blushed, "I just wish I could know what it would be like to bare them for you like you mother will for Lore." she wrapped her arms tighter around him. "My lord if you want to have children with me, then please let bring some into the world."
She smiled softly into his chest. "I would love to see a little prince or two running around here..." She nuzzled against him. "And...I want to give you a family Celebor...One built of our love."

Celebor's heart and spirits lifted with her words, and he held her even closer, laying his cheek against her head.
"Yes, my love," he whispered softly, closing his eyes. "That is also what I want ... to have children with you, who are ours, children that we can raise together ..."
He kissed the top of her head tenderly. "I don't know if you can bear a child within you as my mother may someday, but we can ask the goddesses and find out. As soon as you wish, or as late as you wish, my warrior princess."

Niyana felt her own spirits lifting at the sound of his joy. She smiled and kiss his chest, it being the only thing she could reach.
She slide a hand up his chest and up to hold onto his shoulder she push away enough and shook her head, "We will just have them the way we have them. They will still be ours...we can start look for the goddesses tomorrow. But I think we should finish our dinner and go to bed...we have had a rather long day."

Celebor smiled warmly and held her even closer, happy to the point of bliss just from the feeling of holding her close enough to be able to feel the warmth of her body against his.
"Yes," he murmured softly, rubbing her shoulder with one hand, "we will find the goddesses and see what happens ..."
He kissed the top of her head once more and reached for his food, which was barely within his reach. He took a bite of it and chewed it slowly, savouring it, still holding Niyana close. He was looking forward to a good rest with Niyana by his side.

Niyana grabbed her own food and started to eat it again shifting so she would be sitting on Celebor's lap, instead of beside him.
She leaned against his chest as she ate, her mind and body finally relaxing. "No sneaking of tonight my lord...please just stay by my side until I wake up." She said softly before finishing her meat. She set her leaf down on the table then leaned back against her mate. She looked over to their vases and wondered what their children's would look like standing next to their own.
"Shall I go prepare our bed my lord?" She smiled up at him. And thought of a nice little outfit she would make wail he was gone to welcome him home. She laughed warmly at the idea and kissed his chin moving to stand.

Celebor finished his food relatively quickly and by the time Niyana was done he had also finished.
He smiled down at her at her question. "No sneaking off," he murmured, kissing the bridge of her nose. "There is nowhere for me to sneak off to, nothing for me to do anywhere else."
As she stood and asked him about preparing the bed, he chuckled softly and rose with her.
"I'm afraid I may have taken that honour away from you, my love," he smiled at her. "All we need is a blanket for on top of us, to keep out the cold of the night ... the rest is all prepared."
He put one hand on her shoulder, squeezing it gently and then running his fingers carefully down her arm. "But you are quite right, it is time to rest." He smiled and led her gently towards the bed. "The only question that remains is who will sleep by the wall?"
He didn't care where he slept personally, but at the moment he felt that if he didn't lie down to sleep soon he would collapse where he stood. She had been right earlier - it had been a very busy day, and he was still recovering from his growth the night before.

Niyana smiles and wrapped her arms around his waist and smiled, "I am glad you finally need a good night's sleep." she leaned up and kissed his chin.
She looked at the warm soft comforter and her body wanted to collapse into it and sleep for days. She nods, "You can have the wall my love that way I can make sure you don't try to leave." She laughed, " You go on, I am going to shut the door and get the blanket for us. She yawned stretching her arms up as she moved free from his arm, the shirt lifting to expose the full third mark.
She walked to the entrance to the cave and slid the door into place until she heard a soft lick of a latch and then she moved towards her shirt to pull the blanket from the inside pouch.
She could not wait just to crawl into a bed with her mate and all those pillows...it really was a dream come true.

Celebor smiled and kissed her forehead again, and as she moved to close the door he crawled onto the bed and over against the wall, right up against the pillows. He knew he wouldn't be trying to go anywhere that night, but it somehow made him feel special, that she was being so protective of him.
He made himself comfortable and waited for Niyana to come back, stretching out on his side, propping his head up with his elbow and watching her.
