Mandy nods and smiles. "Well you could scare off anyone that laughs at you by fluffing up with your tails. I'm sure any dragonfly that is young would be scared and run off or something." She laughs again at the thought. "Or at least give them a good glare."

Kyu laughed wickedly and the grass smoked underneath her paws."True...but how childish would scaring a young one be for one of my age?" She paused and looked up at Mandy with a wild eyes. "Though..it might be fun to try." She got into a pounce stance and flicked her tails one by one her paws still smoking. "What do you think Mandy? Would I scare a pup?"

Mandy watched the elder for a moment then smiles. I would say the smoke come from around your paws and your tails fanned out make you look scary even to me." She shifted so she was could better see Kyu and grins. "But then again my father is scary himself sometimes so I can face alot without backing down."

Kyu sat down on her haunches and brought the tails up around her waving prettily while she laughed hard." I'm sure it was quite alarming, though I dont believe you. It might have been scarier had i not told you i tripped on my tails."

"Yes you might have been scarier. I know that all I have to do is run away and you might just trip running after me." Mandy grins and flicks her tail in thought. "I wish I could be scary... But I don't think I look like I could hurt anyone or scare them."

"Ah... " Kyu made a quik swat at Mandy with one of her tails smirking at the youngen. "But sometimes that is the scariest thing of all... not knowing what to expect when you cross someone who you cant place. Plus..if they see a resemblance of your father..who sounds plenty scary..I'm sure they'd think twice."

Mandy thought about that and peered down at herself after moving back from the elders tail. "Well his fur is all black well mine is a silvery gray that somewhat glows in the dark like my mother. Well my mother really glows in the dark and shines in the light." She lifted a paw and looked at fabric that covered her forearm. "My father has this kind of glove as well... And he had big feathered wings, unlike my over sided useless wings." She lifts what she calls wings to show them off. "So I don't really look much like him. My sisters look more like him then I do I would think..."

"Resemblances come in all different forms, like in personality or mannerisms. Not to mention temperament. Because those things are so hard place, one would never know what they're walking into with you. With me..its fairly easy to tell...they can prepare themselves, but with you..they dont know what to expect."

Mandy smiles at the elder. "I don't know. Now that I really look at you, you look like a big ball of fluff that someone might want to cuddle. All your tails make you look nice and comfy." She laughs at that and looks up at the sky. "I'm not sure if I take to much after my father in temperament..."

Mandy lifts her wings and peers at them as she thinks. "That is true, but most things that look nice and cuddly are not mean or scary. Or at least I have not met something that was cuddly and scary at the same time."

Mandy looked at the elder for a moment. "Something different?" She sighed and smiled. "Maybe I was in a bad mood earlier today when we met. But I have to say that I'm in a good mood now. A little sad maybe but a good mood none the less."

"A bad mood was it?" Kyu raised her brow. "Well then next time I see that I shall have to turn into a ball of fluff and hide." She shrank into her tails until all that could be seen was a laughing ball of fluff.
