Stora x_Hikari_x Hm...I'm a little bit unsure on this topic. I mean, it sounds good and it makes sense, but then again, it doesn't. If someone was saved, then turned their backs, would they still go to heaven? Upon those circumstances, I don't know.
As for Matthew 12:31, the Spirit there is the Holy Spirit, the thid in the trinity, some might say. To blaspheme him means to, well, I guess deny him entry into your heart, or say that he doesn't exst entirely.
At least, that is what my Dad explained to me. If you deny Him entry into your heart, you're not saved in the first place, that's what it means. It's a sin to not believe in God, to not accept Him into your heart. That is why it's an unforgivable sin. I'm not sure if I've explained this clearly enough... So God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever beleiveth in him, except those who did not believe in God, and denied Him entry into his heart one time when the Spirit tried to enter him, then later asked the Spirit into them, will not die but have everlasting life? Can someone tell if they are truelly saved? What does saved mean/entail? Lastly, is it possible to be saved at one point, and then become unsaved? I can't remeber ever having anything like that happen, buit I DO believe I am saved. Am I not?

Ok. Here's my view on salvation being permenant. I believe that if it wasn't permenant, than none of us would be christians. ONE sin is enough to seperate you from God. Now we ALL know we have sinned before, presently sin, and will sin again. (with shame, every time we do so) Our flesh sins willingly as our spirit protests for our spirit is the Lord's. But to move on, If one sin is enough to seperate us from God, we wouldn't be saved if salvation wasn't permenant because we ALL sin. We all stray away. If one sin is enough to seperate us from God and salvation wasn't permenant, then we wouldn't be saved because we all sin. No one can snatch those of whom are God's children out of his hands. Once he gets ya, you're got. razz

I disagree.
No ne can snatch you from the Father's hand, true, unless you jump out of it first. God doesn't take back His Holy Spirit but we can reject it. *hint* Free-will.
Sins do not take our salvation from us. Please remember that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us. But sinning while living and living in sin are two different things.

did God not say He would not permit His godly to slip and fall, did God not say if you ask for forgiveness you will be forgiven, did God not say nothing can take us out of His hand, Is God a liar? NO! did God not give us His Spirit when we believed, why would God's own Spirit blaspheme against His own spirit...
something to think about biggrin
