"Perhaps...l Perhaps it is a sign from the Thunderbird?" Twilla suggested quietly. Her mate appeared crushed, which bothered her deeply. "Maybe... If you want, you can... Come to my Willow?" Inviting another to come stay with her, to live with her, felt foreign. But he was her mate and he was in need of a place to live.

As much as Jester had wanted to stay by Twilla's side every day, he didn't want to impose. It was only recently that they had admitted their attraction and decided to become mates. Was this what the Thunderbird wanted....perhaps.
After a long moment of gazing at what was once his home, Jester turned to Twilla. "I would like that very much." he spoke barely in a whisper, still a bit lost in all that was just presented to him, from his tree to the dark sentinels offer.
But some where deep down Jester was as pleased as a peacock, and once again unbeknownst to him, thanked the Thunderbird.
"May...may we go there now?" Jester asked still bereft.

"Certainly... If you wish..." She glanced down at her talons, but quickly beamed at Jester. He lost his tree, but hopefully he would be happy in sharing her own by the waterside. She spread her wings and lifted silently to the air, tracing her way back towards the willow that she had fought talon and beak to win from another.

Jester preened nervously once, then spread his wings and leaned forward to follow her. He was silent, contemplating all that had happened and suddenly very tired. His thoughts drifted to Twilla's companions what would they think of his coming to stay.
He weaved back through the trees towards the willow.

Twilla drifted quietly across the distances that separated her territory from where Jester's once stood. She was lingering in the same quiet contemplation, but braced herself and was sure that everything would work out.
She did not make a sound until she touched down on the thickest limb of her Willow, where the entrance to her hovel was. Once there, she sighed and began to place her feathers.

Jester landed beside her with little more then an grunt and a thump. He gripped the willow tightly slightly afraid it would disappear from between his toes. Looking at Twilla, and he relaxed slightly. Just being around her gave him courage and hope.
Hopping closer to her to preen her hard to reach back feathers, this comforted him. 'Everything will be alright.' he thought to himself.

Twilla closed her eyes and fluffed her feathers as Jester preened them. It seemed to comfort her just as much as it did him. "It'll be lovely..." She spoke softly, referring to the future ahead of them.
Auze and Tikki both perked up as they heard the sentinels on the hovel's main perch.

Jester didn't even hear the companions moving in the hovel, his mind was only on Twilla at the moment.
His tree would soon be forgotten as a new door opened in-front of him.

Teh night had been a busy one and Twilla just seemed to realize how tired she really was. Cleaning the hovels and finding Jester's tree were both physically and mentally taxing, and she was sure Jester must of been just as stressed and tired. She parted her beak ina silent yawn and her eyes felt heavy.
OOC: Ready to call it finished?

Jester began to fall asleep while preening Twilla. And although his eyes wanted to just watch her to assure his mind that she was next to him, they started to close in sleep.
Tomorrow brought with it the promise of something new.
OOC: Yeappers, shall we aim for a breeding soon perchance?
