Is there a huge difference between the written and spoken language? ninja Yes, at least it is in Swedish. *goes to Swedish GD and posts more info, since this is the Norwegian one* ^^,

Sophonax Proudly_Jewish oh cool, what does Denmark look like? ^_^ Denmark? Well. It's a rather flat country, with no hills or anything. The wind is stiff by the coasts. X_x; A lot of windmills and much grass. Quite nice. That would mean Denmark is prone to floods... right? I live in Manitoba, Canada. Very flat here, we get floods every spring. sweatdrop

Denmark is very flat and we are losing land every year. In about... 100 years about a foot of land will have gone underwater and will be a part of the beach instead. In a lot of years from now, some houses will have to be removed because of the water. And some of those houses have been build in the last 10 years.
This should be in the Danish discussion though sweatdrop

XD True enough.
Okay, how about this: the only time I saw written Norwegian, the only thing I didn't know was 'cheese'. It was only one sentence, but resembled Swedish (which I have 'some' knowledge of) enough for me to read it.
Here's the sentence:
Jeg vil ha fiolett ost.
