"ok ok" Flame dipped her damaged ear into the pool of water to get the dried blood off of it. "ahhhh, that feels better" Flame said as the blood quickly was washed away and her ear was dried off in the hot sun. "i feel a lot better... thanks!! Now, whats to do?" Flame looked at Arina, a quizica look and her flaming face.
Arabiana crested the hill, looking around her. She was tiny, not really a day old, or even 15 minutes old!! She was tired and hungry, but could not eat the grass. She saw a herd below, and using the last of her remaining strenth she contiened to walk towards the herd. Once there, she didn't know anyone there, so she silded up to a flaming chestnut mare. nuzzling her flank, Arabiana searched for strength-giving milk that all newborn foals needed.
Flame snorted in suprise. She looked down and saw a tiny bay filly, a newborn. "oh, you poor thing.....here, let me clean you off....and no, i don't have any milk you need" Flame chuckled, wondering why the tiny filly came to her, instead of any other mare in this herd as she started to clean the tiny filly off, with long even strokes of her tongue. Flame wondered what Arina would think of this, her cleaning off a newborn tiny bay filly that needed to be accpected into the herd and need the life givig milk she needed. "Well, even if you aren't accpected in the herd yet, i'll name you, Arabiana."
Arabiana looked at Flame with her eyes. her name IS Arabiana, but that's ok if Flame named her her own name. Arabiana enjoyed the attention Flame was giving her and weakly whinnied for more.

Sundance laughed. "She's adorable. She's really hungry...i'm sure Lucky won't mind if I give her some of Lucky's milk." Sundance snorted as she and Lucky walked towards Arabiana.
Lucky finished nursing on her dam before walking over to Arabiana and nuzzling her. "Would you like some milk?" Lucky snorted sweetly.

((Sorry I been gone so long!!!! I'll try to get in the right spot. Another cougar!!!!??))
Whisper snorted and licked and a deep graze on his left shoulder.
"That's all." He said. "Just another battle scar. No other stallion will try to take you away from me, huh?" He laughed.
He trotted around his territory, smelling for danger and on his guard.

"thanks Sundancer. Arabiana needs milk and i haven't got any. so thanks" Flame whinnied. She nudged Arabiana over to Sundacer so she could get milk.
Arabiana looked at Lucky, the filly who spoke to her. "Yes, i would" relpliend Arabiana, slowly. Arabiana was nudged over to Sundancer before she moved her legs. Slowly, Arabiana walked to Sundancer, her hunger gnawing at her stomach. As she got to Sundancer, she searched for the milk bag. when she did, Arabiana nursed, her tail flopping up and down in contentment. After Arabiana was done, she asked Lucky: "who is that black stallion over there? is he supposed to be here, or not?" there was confusion in Arabiana's eyes as she went back to Sundacer to get more milk, then going back to Dancing Flames and sleeping by Dancing Flame's hooves.
Flame sighed in contentment. The filly was fed and was sleeping next to her hooves. i'm tired my self, so i'm gonna lay down too Flame thought. Soon, Flame laid down and was sleeping with the filly in the crease of her neck.

"Your very welcome, Flame. It's my pleasure." Sundance said before she nuzzled Arabiana.
Lucky walked over to Arabiana and lied down next to the young filly. "That's Whisper. He's the lead stallion of the herd." Lucky whispered. "You don't need to be scared, worried or confussed now. Your with a herd who won't abbanon you not matter what." Lucky snorted as she nipped playfully between Arabiana's ears before resting her head on the soft grass.
Sundancer smiled. She was hungry and needed more milk to feed both young fillies when they woke up so she started to graze.

"thanks, lucky" mumbled Arabiana, half asleep. She felt the playful n** between her ears and rose her head up and nipped Lucky back. after getting up and zipping away from Lucky (just in case Lucky was going to chase her) approched the Black stallion that was guarding the herd. "Are you Whisper?" Arabiana asked the stallion timidly. She didn't want to sound stupid, so she waited for the black stallion to anwser.
"Ahhh, that felt better." as Flame rose up. "i guess it's tme to eat...." Flame mumbled as she started to graze

Lucky trotted after Arabiana on her heels. She stayed behind and watched Arabiana and Whisper on the cliffside together.

Azumi had been laying beside his mother. He snorted and climbed to his feet following the fillies.
Ari rolled to her feet. She glanced at the foals and smiled before bowing her head to graze.

Arina walked over to Whisper, "How are you?" she asked him and then looking around at the herd, she was amazed at the amount that it had grown to.
Max walked over to the new filly, "Hi" he said.

Whisper chuckled and turned to the filly.
"Yes, little one, I am Whisper. Where did you come from?"
He turned away as Arina came to him.
"I'm just fine." He answered. "I haven't seen this filly here before. She's not from one of the herd's mares, I don't think."

Azumi looked up at Whisper a bit wide-eyed. He had never been around a stallion before having been really young when his mother ad him had been kicked out of their herd.

Flame looked upo from her grazing to see that Arabiana was over next to Whisper. Rearing, Flame half charged/cantered toward Whisper. Flame exclaimed: "WAIT!! i can explain. Arabiana came to our herd a tiny newborn filly, abanned by her dam and sire. i took her in without permission, and Sundancer has started to give her the milk that all newborns need. Please Whisper, don't banish her again. she needs us. She would die out there. please?" Flame looked at Whisper pleadingly, her dark eyes searching his for an answer. "Oh yeah, i drove the cougar away from Lucky..."
Arabiana dashed to Flame, her "adopted" mom, scared senseless. She peeked around Flame's flank to see a black colt say hi. "Hi back" said Arabiana, not really nowing what to do. Stepping out from behind Flame's flank, Arabiana walked to Flame's flank and turned her head towards the black colt. "My name is Arabiana, what is your name?"
