*Chews thoughtfully on her lower lip as she refills his glass, this time until the alcohol surges to the brim* Why does alcohol mean so much to you anyway? Honestly, there are much better ways of numbing yourself.. ways that don't involve vomiting and destroying your liver. *Wrinkles her nose*

*Wraps both hands around the glass, bringing it forward and drinking greedily, this time spilling more on his coat, losing some control of his ability to co-ordinate*
I like alcohol.
*Answers honestly, offering up nothing extra, since alcohol didn't mean anything to him specifically, it was just easy to obtain and didn't need as much fuss or money as other things*
*Pulls the glass away a bit, a splash of wine falling onto the table, and absently tugs his jacket up so he could suck the spilled wine out of it, uncaring of any dirt or filth that marred it, very single-minded in the task, but doing it rather awkwardly*

*Grimaces as she stands up, tugging the dirty fabric of his coat away from his mouth before he swallowed some sort of bacteria* Oh, honestly, you couldn't have always been this disgusting! *Clenches the coat, looking cross for a moment; wrenches her arms suddenly, forcing the coat off of his shoulders and yanking it as hard as she can in an attempt to pull it from his arms*

Once when I was seven, I played in the muddy compost pile. And when I was nine- *Is compelled to be truthful about every time he had been this disgusting, but furrows his brows as she tugs his coat, looking somewhat annoyed, but too drugged and addled to do much, like strangle her, which is what he'd do if he had all his senses*
-I dug up the cat- You're going to- *RIIIIP!!!*
*The coat gives way, being rather old and worn, and Rowle gives a grunt of surprise, and tries to push her away, his fingers straying dangerously close to her neck, though he was still too drugged to even think about doing anything*
*Scowls lightly, trying to put his hand on her shoulder to get her away from him*
-when I was nine I kept a jug full of frogs in my room and forgot to feed them, and dumped the sludge out on the floor, when I was twelve I threw up all over my four poster, when I was thirteen I kept a sick cat under my bed for three weeks and fed it only bread, then put it in the girl's dorms when it died. I kept a dirty pair of a seventh year's panties inside my pillow when I was fifteen-
*Clearly intends to keep on going on factually telling her all the times he was exactly this disgusting*

*Gives a surprised noise of disgust as she staggers backwards, the tattered material fluttering across the clean tile floor* Oh, for - stop it! *Snaps, flailing her arms out in surrender* Stop it, I don't want to hear another bloody word about - about all that.
*Presses a hand over her face as she returns to her seat, her small frame slumped over with something like defeat; takes a swig out of the wine bottle before shoving it across the table to Rowle*
Honestly, I just want to know how to help. Is... is that such a.. such a difficult concept? *Peers at him between her fingers with bloodshot eyes*

No.
*Stares at the bottle and reaches for it, misses by a few inches, and tries again, this time getting a hold of it and manages to take a drink, but seems to be losing focus/control*

[BEST. EMOTICON. EVER.]
*Still looking quite miserable, mostly talking to herself* But how? How do you help someone who doesn't seem to want it?

Make them. *Hands fall limply onto the table, face looking slack and tired, any bit of him left fighting giving up to the veritaserum* Bribe them. Force them.
*Drones in a somewhat quiet voice, eyes staring vaguely forward*
(( razz ))

*She is silent for a long time as though actually considering his words*
Not exactly ethical suggestions, are they? *Sighs* Thank you anyway, Rowle.
*Pauses for another moment of thought, then glances at him yet again with a smile breaking through her miserable expression* What makes you happy? I mean really happy?
Because if I could just find something to motivate you -
*Cocks her head as a silvery ring announces the doorbell* Oh - hold that thought until I come back, Rowle. Excuse me. *Rises from the table and hurries through the kitchen and out into the living room to answer the door*

Oh! *Blushes in surprise as she sees Percy, drawing back behind the door as she attempts to smile at him* Percy - what a.. what a surprise. I thought the Association for Peoples' Political Awareness meeting was going to be at your house next week...?

I am afraid this isn't about that, Granger. It is about one of your.. colleagues. This morning, Henry Hailsmen filed a barring of Blaise Zabini from future medical practicing.

He did what? He can't do that! Blaise is Head of Emergency Care! He's - he's the most qualified on our team to handle crisis situations - and he hasn't done anything wrong!

Well Hailsmen is within his legal right to ban Zabini from the medical field. He's Head of the Healer's Board and if he feels Zabini is a threat to his patients it's the Ministry's responsibility to see to it that Zabini is unable to continue practicing medicine and healing.

But Blaise isn't a danger to his patients! He just hates children, and he was angry, it wasn't anything he could prevent...
