Nanuko Gaara_X I found out about Full-Metal Alchemist last year from my 7th grade science teacher who i also learned about naruto from! He was my favorite teacher id ever had. After he got me obsessed with naruto he gave me the first 4 volumes of FMA on a disk and told me to try reading it. I read it and was it was awesome so i also got a few eps from my friend( crying cant download anime cuz i have dial up crying ) then one day i was on adultswim.com and there was a link to an interview with funimation about fma so i read it and they didnt say ne thing about showin the anime and then i went to check under adultswims SHOWS and there it was on the list so i got all excited and impatient and went crazy becuz this was more than a week before it came on.I kept on chekin the my tv guide for saturday the next week to make sure it was still gonna come on and i finally saw it. The anime was just as great as the manga and they even did an ok job dubbing so ive been watchin it since then on adultswim I was gonna get all the anime from my teacher but he decided he didnt want to get in trouble with my parent for givin me a violent anime so i got the whole shaman king series from him instead ill hav to force my friend to get FMA for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of teacher is that!? Better yet...What school and what grade?! Your teacher totally rocks! xd AGREED! i am totally jealous that u hav a teacher wjo even knows wat anime is, let alone slips it 2 u behind ur parents back! i get shunned for liking anime at my school! i need 2 know who this totally awsome teacher is!

I really liked Inuyasha at the time...and I saw the commercial for FMA on [adult swim]. I though "That looks really cool and angsty", but I missed the very first episode. I saw the second episode, and saw the preview for episode three, "Mother". I was hooked by episode 3, and before I knew it, I loved it more than any other anime EVER. I was obsessed with Ed immediantly, for I am so much like him AND he is HOT, and I..uh...kinda didn't care about Inuyasha as much any more. FMA has almost everything that I wan't in an anime.

What she ^ said. I was watching Inu-Yasha, or maybe it was Case Closed at the time... I dunno. Anyway, *remembers all of a sudden* No! *Thinking out loud* That's right! I was waiting for Case Closed to come on at 2:00 a.m. (that's when it came on where I live) and Fullmeatl Alchemist replaced it. I was somewhat dissapointed. It was the train episode, episode four I think. I decided to watch it, and thought to myself when Ed started to transmute things, "Ooh! That's so cool! What an awesome story line!" I've liked it and kept up with the showings, for the most part, ever since! Ya for Fullmetal! whee Sidenote: I didn't drop Inu-Yasha and Case Closed like a hot potato. FMA is just done so much better. 3nodding

Liked it after watching the first 2 episodes. Then moved to the manga... I have only up to Chapter 41.... does anyone know where I can see the rest of the Manga?
Next thing I went to the Anime.... finished it and is waiting for the movie....
In personal opinion, I like the manga better...

I was never really into FMA when I was younger.
I knew it was a really big and well known anime and that Edward was really hot. But because of it's fame, I assumed it was another main-stream anime that was only famous because it was over rated, so thus I never got sucked into it.
My brother asked me if I knew what "Fullmetal" was, and I replied, "yeah, but I never really checked it out." He told me that he downloaded it for fun and it was pretty good. So, on the request of my dear brother, I watched to first episode.
Within the first 3- minutes, (yeah, I took a morbid interest in human transmutation) I was hooked to the show beyond prepare. Even my brother told me to slow down my watching speed.

Before FMA, I didn't watch all that much a.nime. redface sweatdrop
I spent the night at a friends house and we were flipping through the channels till she realized it was ten and went straight to CN. We didn't really pay attention to the shows on before it, but then FMA started and I glued my self to the tv screen, I swear! It was "The Night of The Chimera's Cry" and I was so devistated and sad and really just confused that I had to keep watching it.
So that's how it happened.

I rented the FMA video game, and I found I liked it quite a bit, then, as SOON as I turned off the game, I flipping it to Cartoon Network and an episode of FMA was just starting, (one of the laboratory 5 episodes, I think it was the last one where they were in the lab) And I was hooked, it was like destiny. ^^

My friend Kathleen mentioned it when I was over at her house and she records everything. She showed me an episode, one of the first ones, because she said it was really funny and she wanted me to see it. I only saw like 10 minutes of it but it was so interesting that I went home and asked my brother about it(he watched adult swim more then). He told me he'd seen them all so far and I started watching them. I'm glad Kathleen's the way she is because FMA kicks @$$! Plus Ed's hot. ^^

Aha...well...let's see.
I'm a DeviantART freak. I just love it, no matter how much idiocity has ocurred. One day, I was checking my Inbox and found one of my favorite artists has drawn a picture. (Yay!) It's only natural I check it out. What'd I see? A CG Fanart of FMA, based on season 2. I didn't know this, even after reading the artist description. This, of course, wasn't the only FMA fanart I saw around dA. So, being me and wanting to know everything, I checked around to see if you'll be able to watch it here. I'm sitting there, droppy-eyed around 1:00 AM...and, after FMA begun, I was like,"...O___O;" Instantly loved it.
So, now, I'm a FMA freak and spreading my fandom to others very fast. BD;
