The fact that BBC have a way of not going with continuity. The Doctor was 941 years old back when he was beginning his seventh life. So, don't read too much into it.

I don't know about you but if I was getting up to the high hundreds in years, I'd start lying about my age. Seriously, it must be a bit difficult keeping track of the years, and are those even Earth years? Are they relative to the time he is in when he quotes his age?

That's actually a good question. His age probably varies acording to where he is, right? Because depending on where he is, years could be shorter or longer, right? With a brain that big I dought he would forget his age though... ugh, I'm giving myself a headache.

I'd like to make clear that I do believe he is around his mid 900, for some reason I favor 943.

We almost realize the Doctor is scatter brained, certainly the 10th is. He has had his moments. An example from my memory...

"1...2...3...D...wait now 4!"
