WAR: Part 2 October 14th, 2008 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** Drifting after Trivii while she sorted laundry if Nell could have sung should would have, but because she couldn't she settled for dancing with her own shadows, just a few feet from where Trivii worked. The cat girls ear twitched and she half turned toward the kitchen... "Did you just hear....?" Settling on the realization that she was talking to a rock, she pushed the laundry back into the hamper. ***** Nettle stared down from her position on top of the cabinets, the wood around her gaining a fine crust of frost, beetle like eyes narrowing dramatically as she gestured at her co-horts. In was time. Haileigh summoned up a small barrage of icicles and nodded coolly back at Nettle, her line would hold, there was no way they could tolerate a Faery in their house.Nettle nodded and flicked her gaze over to their delicate comrade and made a violent downward slash with her own frail seeming arm.Nodding Rowena drew a deep breath and covered the warmly decorated room with a layer of frost and icy fog drawing on her own fear of the Faery and summoning a spear of solid ice. The Moth Prince, Allureyan folded his amber and sienna wings back along his beautiful in miniature body and glitter fell from his finger tips in the first onslaught. warmth cutting through ice as he dove feignted and dashed to route frost pixies from their hiding places ontop of the cabinets.
A shard of ice tour through his wing, and still the battle waged on.Scenting victory Haileigh summoned up another barrage of icicles and let them fly, crowing to her compatriots. "The Faery is ours lades!"Hurling her second ice spear at the Faery Rowena shouted, "Not yet he isn't!" As her second spear evaporated in the fulttering sparks of yet another glittery assault. Nettle shouted abrubtly, "watch out!" As a flash of light left her uncounscious on a counter top.Speating despite the frost that clung to the very air, Allure sighted the blue pixie and gathered another golden ball between his hands, and had no soon let fly when a spear of crafted ice toohim from behind, knocking him to the floor. Metallic liquid seeping from him into the polished floor.Trivii pushed into the Kitchen just in time to block the attempted murder and collect the two fallen combatents. "You will not do war in my house." Haileigh hissed snakelike at the cat girl for stealing her kill."Or you will leave."

November 5th, 2008 Dear Diary,
It appears that my pulse has taken up permanent residence in my brain, laughing demonically as Zeus hurls lightning at my eyes.
I have had about all I can handle of pretty winged creatures.
A new coat of paint in the kitchen. A hundred and fifty dollars.
Six new windows. one thousand and two hundred dollars.
Two rolls of gauze. Eight dollars.
Box of Band-Aids. Three dollars.
Silence. Priceless.

Do Not go towards the Light! November 23rd, 2008 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** More and more Trivii observed her natural hours were shifting, less and less was she awake at a decent hour often napping through the middle of the day, and thus missing out on the bright tortures of mid-day. That would not be the case today. Not naturally an night owl, Trivii had spent much of her life awake before sunrise by as much as several hours. Knowing full well that the sun did not burst into life on an expanse of blue. The cat girl prepared to once again accomplish something before noon. Needless to say, the battle lines between being a morning person and a night owl was clearly drawn. Rolling over, the cat girl shut off her alarm clock. There was precious little light this time of year, far too little to squander it. An excited shimmer Nell skated an whirled in the shadowy early morning gloom. The woman was up!
That meant they could have fun.Glancing over at Nell, to discourage herself from climbing back in bed, Trivii smoothed out her sheets, tucking the edges under the mattress, straightening her pillows and pulling the coverlet taught she tucked it around and behind the pillows. Brightening a bit the gem and her shadows surged across the bed. An inquisitive air vibrating around her.
Wanting to play too!Laughing a little Trivii gathered her quilt and smoothed it over the coverlet. Tucking the edges neatly into hospital corners, before adding a bolster and decorative pillows. Strolling around to her chest of drawers, she lit the perfumed candle on its surface before digging under garments out as well as a simple knee length denim skirt and deep rust colored sweater. Like a cat Nell wound around Trivii as she headed towards the shower. This routine after waking made no sense to her. Just glad they were done resting.
Dodging the light, like she did every morning.
Nell hid under the ecru towel on the towel rack.Standing under the scalding spray until the water ran cold, the cat girl glanced at Nell as she dried, dressed and did her make-up, using white eyeliner to accent the heavy black tattooing around her eyes painting her lips the color of coffee. She smiled to herself as Nell ghosted behind her on returning to the bedroom. Trivii flung open the curtains to greet the mid-autumn day. Whipping under the bed. Nell was quickly out of sight.Laughing Trivii left the room. What a lovely morning for tea! She didn't have to look to see Nell scoot after her.

December 13th, 2008 Dear Diary,
By Tradition the twelve days of Christmas has begun. At this time last year I was in a completely different place. And I am grateful for where I am, and the person I have become.
At the End of the Festival - By: Anonymous.
Mark well my heavy, doleful tale, For Twelfth-day now is come, And now I must no longer sing, And say no words but mum; For I perforce must take my leave Of all my dainty cheer, Plum-porridge, roast-beef, and minced-pies, My strong ale and my beer.
Kind-hearted Christmas, now adieu, For I with thee must part, And for to take my leave of thee Doth grieve me at the heart; Thou wert an ancient housekeeper, And mirth with meat didst keep, But thou art going out of town, Which makes me for to weep.
God knoweth whether I again Thy merry face shall see, Which to good fellows and the poor That was so frank and free. Thou lovedst pastime with thy heart, And eke good company; Pray hold me up for fear I swoon, For I am like to die.
Come, butler, fill a brimmer up To cheer my fainting heart, That to old Christmas I may drink Before he doth depart; And let each one that's in this room With me likewise condole, And for to cheer their spirits sad Let each one drink a bowl.
And when the same it hath gone round Then fall unto your cheer, For you do know that Christmas time It comes but once a year. But this good draught which I have drunk Hath comforted my heart, For I was very fearful that My stomach would depart.
Thanks to my master and my dame That doth such cheer afford; God bless them, that each Christmas they May furnish thus their board. My stomach having come to me, I mean to have a bout, Intending to eat most heartily; Good friends, I do not flout.

Flower Petals and Light. January 1st, 2009 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** New Years Day. The Anniversary of the year before, the mark of the beginning of the solar calendar. Also a time for new beginnings, promises and leaving waste from the previous year behind you. It also marked the end of their first tumultuous year in a rather interesting old farm house, and the beginning of the second. As cold kissed her cheeks with a rosy hue Trivii glanced back over her shoulder and smiled. This business of being a parent was growing on her. A procession of people, organized along a street, many in costume, and dozens of people, all ages playing pipes and drums or trumpets and bugles moved briskly down the street.
Pretty girls did flips and cartwheels, a small legion were twirling flags and throwing batons.
She wanted to be out there.
But it was so bright, trembling with the energy of the crowd Nell lingered at the very edge of the shadows, as far from Trivii as she could manage.Trivii took half a step closer to the parade, like Nell, this would be her first one. Floats or sometimes large balloons moved by like an intermission from the lively youths. Maybe next year Nell would be a child to enjoy the exhibition.

January 19th, 2009 Dear Diary,
Nell seems to sparkle and radiate an inner warmth these days, being in her company has become akin to an addiction, I just love looking at her.
Into Your Light I've heard your song And I've seen the light In your eyes and it Took me so long to see Straight through the night And through you ah
You're the depths of my own mind And you're the heights of my creation Wait for me, wait for me
Alone but strong when you're in my sight Your love hit me like a stroke Take me with you Take me with you
Take me to that place ah Where I feel so safe aaah Into your light I dive
I've taken this step And we're intimate now and I am I am joining your world A formation of love and you shine Through me
You're the depths of my own mind And you're the heights of my creation Wait for me, wait for me
Alone but strong when you're in my sight Your love hit me like a stroke Take me with you Take me with you
Take me to that place ah Where I feel so safe aaah Into your light I dive
Into your light Enter my mind
Mermaid medium of light For the morning that comes For the orchid that grows Love me against all odds You defeated the doubt That was stuck inside me
Take me to that place ah Where I feel so safe aaah Into your light I dive
Into your light I dive
Take me to that place ah Where I feel so safe aaah Into your light I dive.

The Big Date... February 14th, 2009 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** A little more than a year had passed since their first meeting. A new year and big changes. A date. A date with a gorgeous guy. On Valentines day. And it didn't have anything to do with the newspaper or her house. Aidan was taking her dancing. She sighed, and looked at her selection of dresses: she had a little black dress... not a good choice for dancing, the red mandarin... but every other woman there would probably be in red... she needed something different, it wouldn't due to blend into the background on a first date. She was taking so long, an audience was beginning to gather. She had Nell, two pixies and Allure.... They were making her self conscious. They were also making her head hurt. As she was bringing a hand up to cover her eyes she spotted it, at the back of the wardrobe, god only knew when she had warn it last. The palest of pinks with gold piping and trim, flowing skirt and fitted bodice. She could wear her gold brocade slippers with it, they had a slight heal, it would be perfect. For once, not at all excited. Nell simmered from the surface of the vanity.Dressing quickly, Trivii styled her still razor uneven moonlight colored locks into a wispy chignon and painted her face with a light hand, she faltered. Yes this town had its oddities, but Nell had to stay with her. Lowering her eye pencil she stared at the stone. In this town of the odd, was it a faux pas to have the symbiotic wraith come with her? Sparking at Trivii Nell extended her shadows to try and obstruct Trivii's view of the soft pink and gold clutch.Noticing Trivii smiled and contemplated the size.... ***** With barely enough time to dress and trip down the stairs tugging on her shoes, Trivii was quite pleased with the finished product. Nell was quite upset by being consigned to her hand bag.Opening the door on her first date... well, ever. Trivii Smiled. Aiden took one look at the cat-girl and whistled silently. "Hey, you look like a fairy tale! Gorgeous." He smiled and flicked a glance around the foyer for any stray pixies, assuming that for once they were under lock and key. "Are we ready to go?" Gold tinged opaline eyes tilted up at the corner as her lips twitched. "I sure hope so." Handing her a small bouquet of yellow tulips Aiden stepped back. "Let me put these in water." Vanishing into the kitchen she filled a cut glass vase and dropped the flowers in water, not bothering to arange them before returning to Aiden. "Now we can go." Taking her arm Aiden lead the way out to his car. "I thought it would be fun to do this up at a reinactment of the St. Valentines day masacre, not the same location, something hosted by a local hotel every other year or so... But it occurs to me that may not be appropriate." "No, it sounds like fun." Pivoting she allowed her self to be handed into the car, tucking her gown arround her legs. "The dancing is in an ajoining ballroom...." "It sounds fun." Trivii smiled up at him as he closed the door. Seeing he was as nervous as she, helped her relax significantly. ***** Exhileration. Nothing else could describe her evening, damn near glowing as Aiden walked her up the steps to her front door Trivii turned a smile lighting up her face. "I had a wonderful time." "So did I... Do you think we could do it again? Soon?" Aiden grinned down at the cat girl. "I'de like that." "Then if I don't call you, call me, we'll make some plans." Leaning against her door she looked up at him through her lashes, "Soon." Leaning down slowly, locking eyes with her, Aiden murmered his assent as he lightly brushed his lips over her's intent on more. Quite soon. Reaching shadows out of the purse, the darkness may have been a brick wall between, for probably the eigth time that night.Laughing good naturedly he pulled away. "Maybe next time, your little Nell will like me better." Flushing vividly as the shadows began to dispate. "I'm sorry." "No its okay. I'll talk to you later." Nodding she let herself into the house, discreatly watching his departure through the peep hole.

WAR: And... Peace? March 22nd, 2009 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** Vernal Equinox, one of two days a year when people can observe a time of equal day and equal night. Trivii rocked back in the chair in her newly apointed home office, scanning the notes that the editor of the tribune had given her. Tagged since moving to the area to write the human interests collum once a week, it was a role that the form free lance writer was growing accustomed to. Tapping a pencil that served as prop than for function against the scarred antique surface of her desk, salvaged after having been left behind by a previous occupant. Jarred from her reverie Trivii looked at the door. "Damn Pixies." The noise continued and the cat girl moved a hand to the side of her head, when the unmistakable sounds of the Faery's retaliation rang out. "Deep breathing, eh Nell?" Standing up, Trivii moved out from behind her desk and flipped on the radio setting the vollume to help drown out the sounds of war. "Lets hope that they kill each other this time." Glowing with myrth tendrils of shadows moved around the cabachon with what could only be called a cies la vis attitude.Blinking quickly Trivii returned to her computer, dropping the pencil back in its cup. As we witness life returning to the country side in the forms of vibrant bulbs and cheerfull blossums. Many people don't take the time to appreciate all that this change can mean to us. To our ancestors aside from being beautiful, this was a time of hope.
The sun is reborn from its winter banishment to thaw the earth, making it ready for the plow, or weddings. People felt and do feel today that they have been reborn as well. Escaping from close, snow-bound confinement into the new warmth.
Everywhere you look you may notice renewed signs of life, the elderly woman tending her garden, a young boy building a tree house with his father, puppies and kittens or in more rural areas lambs, calves and foals.
Even the expectant mother at the grocery store and little league games.
One particularly vivid observation of this spring is in the beautifully tragic story being told through the Senior Production at the Highschool. "Blodeuwedd" The tale of a maiden crafted from flowers, as tragically sweet as any Shakesperian classic....The occassional crash, bang or sizzle interupted as she finsihed her piece and submitted it with a file of pictures to her editor. Finally done with her thousand words. Trivii stood. Nell bouncily drifted closer to Trivii flowing in her wake from the room, pulling the shadows along she through them dramatically around the cat girl as Trivii flowed to a stop and placed her hands on her hips.Head throbbing, this time Allure was winning. But Trivii couldn't endourse loss of life for any reason. "Stop it. Right. Now." Carefully punctuating her words, carefully pitched her voice low instead of shouting. Her words coming out on a slight trill. Dazed from the glitzy assualt by Faery. Haileigh halted. As the other two pixies continued their fighting with Allure. An electrical current started to gather arround Trivii. "I promise. I am much scarier. Do you need me to repeat myself?" Rowena grabbed Nettle and held her still. Nettle shouted abrubtly, snarling at her sister, then spotting Trivii smirked and held still.Shifting her eyes to the Faery, "Allureyan?" Straightening up, he hovered slightly straightening his clothes."If you are going to kill each other, get out of my house." Closing her eyes bracingly. "In fact, you can all just get out." She opened her eyes in time to see the winged creatures form a united front. Obviously they weren't going anywhere. "Or start earning your keep."

April 10th, 2009 Dear Diary,
Its been about two weeks since I told the menagerie to get out or start earning their keep. It has been miraculously quiet ever since.
I think I wouldn't be surprised to find them stealing from my neighbors and auctioning it on the internet.
But at least its quiet.

Rainy Day Dreams April 28th, 2009 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** Trivii was languishing in bed with a book and a cup of tea, Nell slipped out of sight and across the hall.
Moldy wall-paper, drooping like an old man, ready to be steamed the rest of the way off, and floor to ceiling windows.
To the little orange stone the room had a magical draw, like echoing music. Visions of whirling dancing beauties, ghosts and memories no more.
A wealth of personality. A wealth of passion.
This room was the furthest she could wander from Trivii's side, but there must be more places like it in the world. Places beyond the muldering walls.
Deserts and oceans, vast places.
Glittering in the middle of a whirl of shadows, Nell waited for the memories of the room to share something with her.
But they never did.

The key was never lost Yet how the lock rusts.
Untended and Forlorn. Neglected.
Affraid of Secrets so kept The key was bereft.
Within Sight. Glittering.
The catalist was lost A mysterious vagabond.

Once upon a Midnight Clear.... June 4th, 2009 ~RP took place in a Word Processor~ **Solo RP** Nothing. Absolutely nothing smells like summer. Eyes long accustomed to the still darkness allowed the duo to stroll into the city, maneuvering streets, crossing tennis courts. Trivii simply couldn't get enough and so she kept walking. The little orange stone drifting along with her, near her shoulder Trivii was engrossed in it, the thing called night. It was a town like any other town you might imagine, okay so maybe not quite like any other town, it was a bit strange to say the least. An outsider would have never guessed how deep the darkness of this town could get. Almost literally. With the fiends and assorted menagerie. The people were a whole other story. In the daytime all seemed normal, the police patrolled the streets, men and women went to work, and kids went to school. Busy shopper in the stores and restaurants kept the town alive and buzzing. Everyone was just as friendly as can be, but at night things were different. Most people say that about the town they live in, but here it was true. Things became darker and more sinister when the sun went down. Maybe that wasn't the best description. But things took on an aura or life that by day just wasn't there. Not everyone in town was human, Vampires, were beasts and magi ruled the town when no body cared to notice. Angling through the park, Trivii slowed scenting the wind. Gardenia and lilac, she smiled wishing her yard had a unique perfume like that. But then enjoying the scents and sights weren't her only reason for being out after midnight. In spite of the warmth she shivered, and pulled a crumbled note from her pocket. Note T.
The Master has found you, I have managed to give him a false lead, but he is on your tail. I contacted Lady Caimrie, according to her if you can contact a magic user, you could put him off your trail, buy some time.
A. Magic users who advertised themselves as such were hard to find and rarely any good, and so she and Nell settled in at a table in the park to wait for one of her contacts. Smiling she trailed a toe over soft grass, as un-amusing as the situation was, it was amusing in a 'B rate' kind of way. Minutes ticked by. Glinting like a little orange star, Carnelian flowed over the areas nearest to the table, a little flower of light in the natural darkness. Sensing Trivii's tension she almost trembled with anticipation.
Of what she didn't know but it was definitely going to be fun.Plucking a strand of grass, Trivii placed it between her thumbs and whistled through it at Nell. Nell would have been interested if not for the scraping thud and clatter coming down the sidewalk.Dropping the grass the cat girl stood watching the edge of shadow until the sound took shape.

June 25th, 2009 Dear Diary,
Chiaroscuro A Flame held sacred since the dawn of man A flash, a spark, the immortal key to all life The light at the birth of all shadow. Shadows of demons and magic lost by time, Hypnotizing, lulling, the temptation of a soul Like music or passions inception. Like spring itself, a comforting warmth Held close to the heart of man for eons Casting light on the darkness. Banishing fear itself with the obscurity A farewell to the shadows, in a mournful Glowing amber hue. The Segue to light…

Shoots and Shadows July 13th, 2009 ~RP took place in AOL Instant Messenger~ **Group RP** Trivii If the heat outside was cloying, then the combined heat and humidity of the nursery should have been suffocating. Somehow it wasn't, as Trivii pushed open the door, the bells tinkled and she was greeted by scents that could intoxicate, and her blood started pumping, this is what she wanted. "Hello?" Eftemie Jasa glanced over at the door at the sound of the bells. A smile on her face, she asked, "Can I help you? Are you looking for something in particular?" It never occurred to her that she had not slid Ruku back into her apron pocket. He was half hidden behind the watering can, but at least he was behaving himself and not teasing her by weaving in and out of the pots sitting on the table. The dead leaves, that naturally occurred, Jasa quickly scooped off into the bin beside her. It would be dumped later. Trivii Smiling vibrantly Trivii glanced around, "I know it sounds trite.... But I'm looking for something that smells good." Taking afew gliding strides forward she offered a hand "Triveni Viscarin, Trivii if you like. I bought the old Richards Farm." Working on the assumption that, that information would mean something to the shop girl she glanced about curious. Nell vibrated and shimmered as she slipped free of Trivii's purse, all together not caring about the shop girl, wisps and tangles of shadow coming with her.Flushing, Trivii acted casual, "Thats Nell. You don't mind do you?" Eftemie "Jasamine Du Lac, or Jasa as everyone calls me." she replied smiling as she took Triveni's hand. "I'm glad someone finally got that old place. It was pretty once and could be again." She thought for a moment. "It depends on if you want to stick with flowers or shrubs and trees. Lilacs would smell wonderful in the spring, but towards summer you'd want something more like..." Jasa blinked suddenly stopping to stare at the stone. "Nell?" she repeated blinking several times more. "I um... do you know what that is? I only ask because a kid cracked a pot one day and I took it home. I found.. in the gravel.. well.. it's just easier to show you I think." She flushed as red as Trivii had as she moved the pot aside to reveal Rukurai curling his tendrils around some of the dead leaves she had missed. "I call him Rukurai or Ruku for short. Yours is the first I've seen. Other than him." Trivii Gnawing at the inside of her lip for a second, she opted to address Nell first. "Nell, short for Carnelian. She sort of adopted me a little more than a year ago. She's a Wisp, I can't give you a great explanation, If you want to know more you would need to go into the little jewelry store Twilight Designs." Reaching out she cupped a hand around Nel luring her back. "They are kind of a spiritual parasite from my understanding, they bond with a person and share life energy with them as they mature.... Its a variety of rebirth for them." Smiling, "There are a few of us is similar positions to you, Nell claimed me when I was shopping for a ring, I put on a ring and she shot out of the setting." Moving to the side some she continued, "Reyna's the owner. Mystic is hers...." She floated a hand vaguely about Nell. "They grow, just like we do, from what I have figured this is their verson of infancy." Eftemie "I will have to check the shop out later then. I did figure out the stone and that he likes being warm. He is constantly knocking over my cups of anything iced. I've taken to using styrofoam cups so he doesn't feel the cold if he brushes against it." Jasa nodded turning with Trivii as she moved. "A wisp.. So he's just a baby yet. That explains a few things. He seems to want to remain close and stay warm inside pockets and things. I've taken to wearing an apron around the house just so he can ride in the pocket. Easier to keep track of him." She laughed at the later. "He seems to get into alot." Picking Ruku up, she held him gently a moment, then tucked him into her pocket. "My boss has not seen him yet. I'm not quite sure what she will do if I have him at work but I just couldn't leave him home alone. He seemed to need me." "So do you have an idea what plants or colors you have in mind?" she asked, watching Nell for a long moment. "Night blooming jasmine smells wonderfully also. We just got a large shipment of it in. The blossoms open at nightfall and they scent the air after dark. Very fragrant." Trivii Nell was reluctant to be relocated, tendrils of darkness reaching towards the pocket Ruku and just been banished to.Smiling she laughed at the minor antics described by Jasa. "Nell just wants to be at the center of everything, she hasn't broken anything, been stolen by frost pixies, but never broken anything." Relaxing into the banter she contemplated the rows of starts and cuttings. "Jasmine sounds nice. I would like to do a hedge of Lilac and some wisteria near the house, I have a kitchen garden in addition to decorating, and of course the fields, I thought I could convert into orchards. So Tree's and herbs too, if you have much in stock I would love to see anything like that." Eftemie "We have a good selection of all the herbs. It's simply a matter of picking out how many plants you want based on what you think you will use. Wisteria.. I think we still have some in small pots. Those go pretty quickly around her. And the jasmine... It just came in on the truck so you get first choice of it. Minus the two I put back for myself of course." She laughed, shrugging. "I may have to start my own greenhouse if I keep this up. My apartment gets smaller and smaller each day." Ruku was working his way free of her pocket, tiny tendrils sneaking their way upwards and out. Jasa knew but ignored it. At least she knew where he was for now. "Trees.. are a different matter. Most plant before now, but I think there are four or five varieties of apple trees as well as two types of cherry, and possibly even a couple pecan trees left outside. The trees you will want to make sure you water them all summer even if they seem to have gotten hold and are growing. The first year is the hardest on them and more water will give them the root system you will want for them to last. And if you decide on the pecan trees, you will want to get at least two or three trees to cross pollinate each other otherwise you have to rely entirely on bees and other things for that and they don't always do so." Trivii "Lets see the Jasmine then, does it need a partner to polinate?" Free! Nell slipped from the purse again, sparkling and shimmering from inside her cloaks of shadows, more interested in the other Wisp than silly things like flowers.Hissing slightly and giving a resigned look, "You may as well know, you are not in control of anything right?" Shaking her head she fell in beside Jasa to be lead through the green house. Clearing her mind with a warning look at Nell she continued. "I don't know the soil quallity yet, so I'm prepared to pre-order in Trees for next year, just knowing what grows well will be a start. For Herbs I want to containerize so some can come in-doors through winter so younger starts are fine, the basics, rosemary, mint, I have a ginger bulb rooting at home now, basil and chamomile, Just essentials, and lavander I found the remains of lanavder near the door, I thought I could plant it allong my walk way." Smiling charmingly with a hint of self depreciation. "I'm sure I'm puting the cart before the horse, but this is my first home... I'll probably need a gardner by next spring." Eftemie Rukurai stopped at the top of the pocket the moment Jasa started moving. His tendrils still wiggled but they also clung to the fabric. Jasa nodded. "That is a good idea on the orchard. We can preorder the trees for you and get them in early for you. And you should have a test done on the soil. It's not really hard. We have a kit that will help you figure out what type of soil you need for the trees you order. I'm going to suggest that you get one of those and do that before ordering your trees. You might have soil that is too acidic and some of the ways to correct it needs a bit of time. So checking now is to your benefit." Stopping at the table of herbs, Jasa picked out the best of each type Trivii wanted. Making sure each had a tag in the pot, she placed them into a nearby cart, one of the smaller ones she herself used to move things about the greenhouse. "If you are going to bring them in for the winter, I'd suggest you put them into larger pots for the first year, then place them outside grouping them closely together. Square pots are best for that. Then you don't have to repot them in the fall and take them inside. It gives you an idea of which are going to grow best for you. The downside to that is they will need to be repotted or planted the next spring to give them more." "Let's see.. rosemary, mint, basil, and chamomile. If these do well, you might think about bay, fennel, and garlic next year." Jasa added as she rechecked to make sure she had them all. For a moment she calculated. "This lavendar should be planted about 12 to 15 inches apart to allow for decent growth. Three or four plants would do about five feet. Is that enough or do you need more?" Trivii Trivii studdied the table trying to do head math. Depth and distance. "I would have to test the soil once for every quarter acre...... so I might need four of five kits. It would give me a chance to do some reading before I plant, maybe hire some help. It takes what five years for trees to start bearing fruit...?" Watching the herbs get placed in the cart, adding afew more of each without asking first, plants of almost any kind grew best with at least one other of like kind. "I think I want the pots to be a little unique, like the house, is there a good pottery place arround here? Or what do you have in stock?" Smiling almost shy Trivii added, "You should see the space thats set asidefor my kitchen garden, I don't doubt I'll have to grow a few more things..." Selecting a small rosemary plant Trivii sniffed at it delicately, always a favorite of hers. "Make it an even six on the lavander, I plan on harvesting it regularly, I have an amaizing for lavander and mint butter cream frosting. Maybe you could bring Ruku out for Tea." Eftemie "Usually about five years although there are some other types that bear a bit sooner. If you are testing the soil this year then you would have time to research them. I can send you some sites via email if you would like." Jasa offered, as she added the rest of the lavendar to the cart. "Those pots we have are pretty standard except for a few. There is a potter nearby that we get our specialty pots from. He has far more than we do. I usually recommend him since he could make whatever you needed." She watched Trivii a moment, smiling. "I'd like to see your garden. It would be easier to give you some ideas with all the space that is out there. I'm sure Ruku would enjoy it." Trivii A flashing grin lit up her face as she studied the cart and thought about her back account... and the possibility of a new friend, and tugged a business card out of her pocked, that still read Free Lance Writer and Research. "I'de like that info, I'de also like to hear from you about tea." Hauling her wisp back and tucking her in the purse Triv smiled, "We can comiserate. there has been a lot of other things surrounding them that I would love to tell you about in a less public location." Eftemie Jasa nodded, smiling. "I'll send you those links and about tea. And I'd like to know more. You've given me more than I had. I was not quite sure what he was in the beginning. Rather freaked me out which only seemed to amuse him." Her fingers brushed the top of the pocket where he was. "I'm surprised he remained in the pocket except that it's probably warm there." She glanced at the plants in the cart. "This should get you started at least. I've got an herb garden of my own at home. All indoors though, since I live in an apartment but it has one glassed in room that is warm even in the winter so I've turned it into a sort of greenroom. I'll see if I have any rarer herbs that we don't sell anymore and bring you some starts off them when we come to tea. And I think I have a book at home on orchards that you can borrow. It might help." Ruku reached out tendrils sliding across Jasa's fingers for a moment before twining around a finger for a few seconds. Trivii "That would be great.. can you think of anything else that I need?" Trivii leaved her hip against the ajacent table. Eftemie "Not that I can think of, Trivii." Jasa laughed as she rang up the purchases. "When I come to tea, I'll help you do these tests if you want. No sense in you doing it alone. You can hire someone when you get the trees next spring or if you need something done to the soil." She would help her get the plants into her car also. Trivii Leading the way from the nursery, the dry was a welcome change, she hadn't realized that moisture had already begun to dew on her skin until a dry breeze licked over her. Summer was an amaizing time of year. Opening a back door and then climbing in front to start the air conditioner cycling, Trivii collected the Lavander and reaching through put it on the front passenger seet. "You can put the flats on the back seet, I'll keep the trunk clear for the pots and planters, I doubt they need climate control." She smiled. Eftemie "No, I don't think they do." Jasa agreed, smiling as she placed the trays on the seat as asked. When they were finished, she nodded to Trivii after checking to ensure that Ruku was still in her pocket. "Look for that information tonight. I'll send it as soon as I get home after six. It was nice meeting you, Trivii. Drive safely." Noting other customers entering the greenhouse, she moved towards the building. It had been a very good afternoon and she looked forwards to the tea. It would be fun for both she and Ruku to have some space without worrying what others would wonder or fear.
