A soft yawn broke the silence of the room as Furanken slowly opened her eyes as she sat up on the futon she had been placed on. She gazed around for some time before realising she was back within the Kakuzu Clan compound. Her attention was then drawn to the large form in the corner that held a large cleaver in his hand - one of her cleavers. There were times that Fura found it irritating when people touched her weapons.
"You passed out," The form rumbled and in an instant, Fura registered the voice as Kakuzu's. A pair of dark green orbs looked towards the girl as he stared. "Your chakra evidently ran out directly after I showed you how to steal hearts, thus, we never really got to move on to talk about your tendrils." In his hands, he ran several fingers along the cleaver's heavy blade, before holding it out in front of him, closing one eye as he examined to see if it were straight and properly balanced.
"I apologise," Fura muttered as she waved her hand towards Kakuzu. "I di-" She was cut short as with one swift movement, the man severed her hand from arm as the limb flopped down nearly a foot beside the girl.
"What the hell!?" The girl shrieked, angered more by the mere suddenness of the act rather than the fact that her hand had actually been severed. She examined the bloodless stump for a moment before glaring in the direction of the other shinobi.

Tsuigme returned to his home land. He hadn't been home in quite some time. He wondered how the village was without its leader. Tsugime suddenly felt a familiar presence. The presence of someone he'd killed. A heart he had stolen. The heart that once belonged to that ninja suddenly began beating irregularly. Tsugime knew what this meant. By the waterfall that led into the village, Tsigme left a small brown leather pouch. Inside was the sacred armor that he had stolen. It seems it was time for it to return to its rightful owner.

Agito arrived in the waterfall village, still looking for the stranger who he last saw before his death. " where could he be" Agito crouched down towards the ground and began to stare off towards the village. damn...i cant believe i let him run off with all my stuff..and Valefor. Agito was mostly concerned that no one was misusing Valefor. And the way he could make sure of that is if Valefor was with him. Agito staid in the same spot for a moment before his cursed seal on his neck began to hurt. He merely placed his hand over the seal and waited until the pain subsided. HE then turned to see a pouch that he had opened to find his armor " wha-...how did he know" Agito then grabbed the armor and took off in a unknown direction. Quote: Retrieved lost Casshern Armor

"You havent gotten used to working with your tendrils that much, so think of this as practice," Kakuzu muttered as he looked at Fura, who by now, was holding her severed hand in her other one. "And your masks are pretty much made of that tendril crap, and since you made one of those move, this should be a cinch. The only difference is that you're controlling them individually rather than this whole 'living' mass," He added as he looked down at his arm.
Beneath his skin, several long lumps snaked here and there before bursting from beneath his skin. "You're generally just stitching yourself back together, except rather than using thread you're using these," He said, making one of his tendrils wiggle slightly to make it seem significant. "So just put your hand to that stump, let your tendrils dig into it, and from there, you should be fine, as your body's natural healing process will make it useable again after several moments."
Nodding, Furanken set the hand to her wrist. After a single concentrated thought, the black threads began to slither forward, soon digging into the hand at the point where they connected. With a mild wince, Fura watched as the limb reconnected itself to her body, though her expression showed mild amazement. Even a wide grin could be seen growing as time passed. Evidently, the Kakuzu girl was enjoying this.
Less than a minute later, Fura extended her arm in front of her. It felt awkward, yet the girl could already sense that the hand would still be able to function properly. Apparently, while the tendrils stitched a limb back on, it also seemed to help nerve properties as well...Unless it was more of that 'bodily natural healing' Kakuzu had just mentioned.
"See?" Kakuzu mused in a tone that made it seem like some grand bet had turned in his favor. "Though those things can serve as weapons, they can just as easily be utilized in medical situations as well. Especially if your with some idiot who just cant keep himself together. Though in several cases, that idiot is you..."

The chuunin side-stepped along a narrow ledge, behind a treacherous waterfall. Once on the other side, Hisame saw the giant tree in the center of a vast lake. He began his long walk down the bridge to the tree. He didn't see anyone outside the tree or near the lake. Once on the small island, Hisame scaled the large tree, and entered into the hollows of it. He traversed the wooden corridors, searching for the room of the kage of this hidden village. He stepped into a fairly large office. Sitting in the center, waiting for Hisame, was the Kage of this Village. "Tsuigme Takumi."

Tsugime had his back turned to the Chuunin. He turned around to face him as he said "Ah yes. I've been expecting you. You seem to be the only one I can trust so I asked you to come here. Now as you can see I've removed four of my hearts" Pointing to five jars filled with a strange green liquid. Four of them had a heart suspended in it. He continued "When I sever this fifth heart from my chest, you are to put it in the remaining jar. I then ask that you remain here and watch over my corpse. When the time comes you will place my heart on my chest. My tendrils will take care of the rest." Without waiting for a response, Tsugime layed on a cot set up by the desk. With one swift movement he tore into his torso and pulled out his still beating heart. Tendrils attached to it were severed and Tsugime collapsed on the cot with the severed heart in his hand. There was simply one tendrils still attatched. All he had to do was yank it.

Hisame wasn't as surprised as any normal person would be to see an old friend tear out their own heart. He couldn't say he was expecting it, but he always considered the possibility of Tsuigme visiting the afterlife on purpose. Hisame lightly ripped off the last tendril and placed it in the jar. He closed the door walked over to a desk and sat down behind it, making sure the Jars and Tsuigme's corpse were completely in view. He looked under the desk to find a large picnic basket sitting there. He placed it on the desk and opened it up. "I'm going to assume this was for me. Have a fun time Tsuigme."

Tsugime's lifeless body lay on the cot. Strangely a tendril began to slip out of his open chest cavity. It swirled through the air towards one of the jars. It made its point rigid before stabbing itself into the jar. The desk was covered in the green liquid. The tendril shot towards the heart as it attached itself. Tsugime suddenly shot awake gasping for breath. The first heart was pulled back into his chest. He got up and looked at Hisame. He then said "You are dismissed." He approached the other jars unscrewing the tops, removing the hearts and placing them back into his body. He was back with a new power.

Climbing up on a monstrous root, Kiraki vaulted to the top and crouched low. His mask of suppression hiding his signature as he pulled a kunai out and began to make some knotches into the root. After a few seconds, he slammed the kunai in and stood up. The contact sounded odd, almost like it was a hollow metal hitting wood as the masked ninja looked straight up at the tree right where it began to branch out from the trunk. He had heard rumors of the massive tree in the area hiding untold treasures inside its trunk and roots from locals. But he was starting to believe they were nothing but wild goose chases attempting to bring in tourists to spend money by the lake that surrounded the massive tree.
"At least the view is nice..." Kiraki muttered, leaving the kunai in the ground as he slid down the root to explore anything under the exposed and upturned ground. He was hoping they were wrong. after the last artifact he found was a fake, this would be a nice change in his luck. Pulling out another kunai, he realized he may have pulled out a few too many and hated the idea of having to chace them all down again before he left...

From his office conveniently carved into the hollows of the tree, Tsugime's attention was averted. It was the sound of metal clunking into wood. The sound echoed throughout the tree. It was rather hard to miss. The Takikage left his office to investigate. He stepped out of a massive knothole towards the branches. He emerged looking much like a plague doctor from the era of the Black Plague. Tsugime bounced from branch to branch searching for the source of this sound. Something gleamed in the sunlight as he looked down. Tsugime dashed down the length of the tree using chakra to keep his feet adhered to the trunk. As he reached the massive root that sunk into the lake, he found the source of the gleam. It was a kunai dug into the root. Tsugime was suddenly put on high alert. How could a shinobi have snuck into the village without him noticing? This definitely assured a force to be reckoned with. It seemed apparent that whoever was intruding was after the Hero's Water. Tsugime decided he would try to beat the intruder to the shrine. He dashed into another opening at the base of the tree to take a short cut. In the shadows, Tsugime waiting for the intruder to cross his path before reaching the altar where the Hero's Water was traditionally kept. The ninja would regret not picking up his toys after he was done playing.

"stupid tree and its stupidly big roots..."Kiraki said as he ducked under an overhanging root and sighed as another blocked his path. He could have sworn it was a fallen tree trunk in and of itself as he stood on the moist soil. "Why couldnt this be easier....the Hero's Water better still be here..." Kiraki muttered as he decided against climbing again and started to walk down the length of it closer to the massive central trunk. The masked wandered had heard of legends, but according to them, the water may no longer be around. Still, he felt he needed to see for himself...and maybe make a quick buck off it selling it back to the Waterfall Village. And if it wasnt....then at least the scenery was nice. "...Pretty sure i can make up a c**k and bull story to cover my a**..." He said with a grin as his hands brushed the side of the root. It looked like it had been unnaturally worn by human touch. That meant he had to be in the general vicinity of this hidden shrine.

Right on cue. Tsugime didn't need to mask his chakra signature because it was rather low. The Waterfall Village didn't have a reputation for having exceptionally strong ninja. Their Kage was no exception. None the less, he knew how to win a battle without much effort. He stepped out of the shadows, his long mask sticking out far past his body. He tilted his head as he watched the masked shinobi approach the altar. If he were to open in, he would see a bottle of water within but it wasn't the real Hero's Water. Merely a double to fool ninja like him. The village leader kept it on his person at all times. He wouldn't let a catastrophe like what happened in the past happen again. Tsugime waited for a second before saying "Looking for something?"

Furanken's gaze was jerked suddenly to the side as she saw a swift blur of movement somewhere within the depths of the great tree from the corner of her eyes. While it wasnt unusual to see shinobi scattered all about the village in an effort to do complete daily chores, the Great Tree (particularly the more secluded parts of it) were often forbidden from trespassing. Thus, to see a form moving along, was just plain odd.
"Something wrong, Fura?" Kakuzu muttered as he slid the cleaver back into it's leather case.
The blonde slowly shook her head as she sighed. "No...I think I'm still just a little tired; seeing things," she explained as she faced the larger form with a slight smile. In her mind however, she made the mental note to investigate the tree before the day's end.

"This looks like something out of a comic book...." Kiraki said as the dramatic lighting shone upon the altar he was looking for. About 10 feet from the altar, he stopped and crossed his arms, one raised with his hand on his chin. This cant be it. Either this place is too long forgotten, the booby traps were already sprung or.... His answer came in the sentence from the shadows as Kirakis head tilted back and a half exasperated, half relieved sigh came from the worn mask. "And there's door number three. I knew this was too easy..." He said turning his back from the altar to figure in front of him. Guess the old man a the dock was right. Haunted spirits? Booby Trap Summon? Old crazy b*****d hermit? Either way its got a human esque voice. Kiraki though as he rasied both his hands apathetically to chest level to show he was unarmed to the other intruder. "Hey little birdy, no need to peck my eyes out. I only came for the sights and lost my way." He was obviously lying but better to lure them into some false sense of security and see what happens.

Tsugime's raspy voice replied "A typical villager has a tough time finding this place. You happening to find it by accident seems rather unlikely. You wouldn't be the first after the Hero's Water and I can't say I blame you." He paused for a moment to glance at the scapegoat shrine before continuing "I don't know how you found the entrance to the village but I ask that you please leave....unless of course there's something else I can do for you." The cloaked village leader broke into a fit of coughs holding his fist under his beak to cover his mouth. He regained his composure and waited for the masked man's response.
