i am having a few more ad's getting through now..adopt an elephant! and a few other google things, but that's it, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i'm not going to get bombarded!!

It's mostly just a forum with LOTS of different topics of interest (I like some of the deep discussions and controversial topics!) and even a chatterbox where people can be silly and spammy and make nonsense to make gold! You get gold when you post, gold for voting in polls (but you have to have a lot of posts on your record before you can get 10 gold for each poll per day...) and the first and only mini-game so far is fishing which takes some practice, but can get me about 200 gold per bucket in Durem (the hardest difficulty.) Gaia is still fairly new, so they're still adding to it and fixing a lot of bugs and glitches, and hopefully there will be more mini-games sometime!

With gold you can buy items for your avatar or furniture for your home (creating a bare home is free!) and you can get 'random events' kind of, where your avatar will have a eek in its talk-bubble and it says Look Around! If you don't see a trunk or a gift box floating down the screen, or a pink link somewhere (I've never actually SEEN the pink link!) you can click the link at the very, very bottom of the page when you get a random event that says "If you do not see your event, click here." Pink links give you 1k gold, and the boxes have some random item in them which may or may not be worth more than you can sell your box for.

Oh, and you need a trading pass (500g) to start trades, although not to have trades started WITH you, and you need a vending license (1k) to sell items in your shop.

Ye gods I agree! Luckily...well, I won't say it so I don't jinx myself!! As for Neo, I still love it, and it will (probably) always be my main internet love, but 2 ads per page is too much, especially when they are making money through toys/games/etc, and have paid accounts and whatnot. I already give them so much of my money...and children can't buy paid accounts, what are they to do?

I just think that TNT is becoming too concerned with the bussiness end of things. I understand they ARE a bussiness, but it was meant to be a game, first and foremost.

I don't blame you at all jelly! I wouldn't go near my neohome now if I was paid a million dollars! I'm uber lucky to have all my furniture and most of my flowers in my SDB for the avvie.

3 ads per page. rolleyes That's around when I started cutting back my neo interest as well, and I don't like Jade playing on her account because she gets offsite! Not to mention the unfair freezing of accounts, and all the glitches causing item loss, etc.

I forgot about the neohome glitches until I was already there and building yesterday. Everything of mine seems to be intact though... *crosses fingers*

wow, 50K for one shop size!! is that for just 5 more spaces ?? i thought it was bad enough me having to pay 6K.
i've completely emptied my neohome and gardens, a tedious task but i'm not taking any chances, i don't have many items but what i do have i'd like to keep! though i know storing things in your SDB isn't totally safe*shrugs* what can you do?
i'm sure TNT are made well aware of every glitch that appears, it's just such a huge shame that any improvements they impliment always seem to cause problems

i noticed that we've had 3 new purkles join over the last few days, looks around for them...i did have a peep at the members list but i didn't get any help from it, it doesn't seem to add new people at the bottom as i thought it would. so i shall wait for posts.
