Cat moved off the couch with Caleb, scooting him toward teh room a bit. "I'll come check on you in a bit, try and get some sleep alright." she smiled and headed for teh door Jonas went through.
Caleb nodded and trotted over to the door, opening it and peeking in.
Cat knocked a couple of times before opening the door to the office. "So I take every things going your way now?"

"Not everything sadly. Though if i had to comment, id really have to say things are going smoothly." He looked at the files on his desk for a moment, being the secretary of defense seemed like a big job. Rampage did most of the reading in his spare time. Chaos made the public appearance while he mostly did lab work. To everyone it was a wonder how one man could do all of these so effectively, it was really only a matter of time until he slipped up and got found out. "I do have some loose ends to tie up and others i hope will work themselves out. So Cat, penny for your thoughts on all this?"

Cat closed the door behind her and leaned against it. "Other then wondering if all this is going to work, I wonder what the outcome will be other then severely pissing off this Kain fellow." she shrugged. "But since I don't really know the pieces in this little game of chess, I don't really know what to expect."

A woman in a white dress trimmed in gold sat behind the door to Jonas's office. She looked at the other woman as she entered with cold blue eyes. Maria never spoke instead she just leaned against the wall, petting her wings.
Jonas looked at Cat like no one else was in the room. "Its not a game its a balance. The H.E.C lost its reactor and now for our extreme efforts to save the country we are reminding this world why they needed us. They're afraid to lose power and go back into the stone age. See the reason the world needs the HEC is simple; Life. We power the lights you read your books by, we power your home security systems, we power the machines that cook your food, we power the street lamps that make it safe for you to travel by, hell we power your tooth brushes." He smiled. "What are they going to do without us? The H.E.C is the only company on this planet with th building plans from the orginal reactors. There are duplicates and all sorts of other ways to to make energy. Though solar wont work cause the Radiation from this sun isnt compatable for the hundreds of years we spent making machines for our sun. Wind energy was always a joke, and well lets see how much the Weyard enviormental agency will put up with when it comes to trees, coal and oil again." He picked up the white king from the chess set on his desk. He placed it on the map of th world he had on his desk, then he picked up a knight, the queen, and a castle. After placing them all down he smiled wickedly. "Checkmate." He smiled at himself. Maria died, he lost his home, he lost his entire life and this is where his determination for redemption brought him. "I will make this world understand that there are no second chances. That this life is what we make it." His white bangs dropped infront of his eyes and he smiled like the devil as he stood. "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything."
Maria stopped petting her wings and clapped rather lowly, her eyes still trained on the ground. ((Speech inspired from fight club. Look, the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not... ******** with us. ))

Cat shivered as a chill went down her spine. She rubbed teh back of her neck a bit and looked around before looking back to Jonas. He listened to his speech and had to bite her tongue at the end to keep from laughing, she couldn't help but smirk however. "Technologies manage to come so far ahead, we can't even remember how to go back to basics." she muttered. Shaking her head she walked up to his desk and looked at the pieces he set on the map. "You forget that there's always to sides in a fight, which this has come to be it seems." she moved and set teh king and queen pieces down on the map, near where the castle in the woods should of been. "And that last thing you've said, about losing everything, if you've lost everything, then why bother with doing anything at all?"

"Because everyone is afraid to do something because they could fail and lose. The only thing i have left to lose is my life, well and now maria again." Maria smiled lightly at him. "Though through i pain i have realized nothing matters. You are right in the aspect of doing nothing, but why do that when you can do..." He stopped and Maria smoked in her light angelic voice. "Everything." Jonas loved listening to her speak he could swear that the wings were not mutation but instead she was really an angel.

Cat looked back at the woman as she spoke and shrugged. "I guess that true." she couldn't really argue with that fact. "So is there anything else you wanted to talk to me about?" she asked Jonas.

He'd reappear in the same damned spot he removed himself from, dripping blood all over the place from both his hideous blood-wing and from the iron mask about him. (To those that were unaware: The mask surrounds his head, though leaves two eyes sockets, two slot for his nose, a oval-opening for his mouth and two small holes for his ears. Spikes are shooting inward in to his temples, the skull above his eyes brows, the back of his neck right beneath the skull, through both of his cheeks, connecting in the middle, and up through his chin. His hands were also impaled by several spikes, and upon being impaled the tips formed hooks that are currently holding his hands against the mask. He'd also missing one wing, or rather can't summon it.) His white button-down shirt was now soaked in blood, dying it crimson. His eyes were still wide open, never blinking.
He'd slowly approach Yurich, struggling to rip his hands from the helmet. He was failing miserably; he could only force himself to ignore so much pain. In fact, the pain would bring him to his knees before Yurich. Slowly, he'd look up to him with pleading eyes. He'd then slowly look to his sides, trying to get Yurich to look at Murasame.

Jonas stood up, looking to Setsumei speechless. His eyes slipped close summoning death to the spot. Death appeared with a sickening groan, Jonas looked at his chest which was still bulging in places. "Im going to assume that if he has his sword, the misson on his behalf was a success." Jonas walked over to death and jumped his hand to his chest grabbing a rib that was trying to set itself. He twisted it roughly, "Please tell me you have good news as well.". Death only nodded. Jonas pushed him back ontot he couch. "Well if your right, things should start getting interesting." Jonas looked to setsumei's head gear apologeticly. He helped Setsumei to his feet and placed him gently on the couch. Looking over the helmet he was wearing it seemed to have Kain's signature all over it. It seemed to just be a metal casing though. "I can take it off, but it aint going to be pretty. I can make it a little less painful though." He walked over to his desk and pulled out a nanineedle, Jonas began to wonder why he always had one near by. As he was injecting Setsumei he wondered just how things were going back over at the mansion.
"Cat no i really just wanted to chat." Jonas smiled in her direction as Maria came over to Setsumei. "Its just metal i think." Maria smiled a little and then touched the top of the Helmet. The casing around his head turned to a very hard glass, she could see all the blood covering his face and the spikes tips digging into his skull. Maria turned around and threw up on the carpet, Jonas had to stop himself from doing the same. Instead he punched the glas helmet and watched it fall to pieces. He dug out the smaller spikes and asked if he was ok.

They were right. It was no more than a torture device; using anything beyond a basic compound would have been a bit of a waste. He was still quite a bit lost in his own little world when the glass would shatter over his head, bringing him back in to reality through means of the terrible pain of air coming in to contact with his wounds. Again, he'd try to scream, but only muster up a whimpering noise. He'd look to the gaping holes in his hands, then feel about his head to check the wounds. Be it from fright, loss of blood or shock, he was shaking. Sure, he could use his powers again, but he wasn't a vampire; he wasn't a demi-human regenerator. Things healed for him quicker than most, but by no means would it be a quick process.
The pain of it would lie in the sword at his side. Murasame, blessed by the heavens...imbued with the most annoying host body he'd ever seen. It new true justice, and it could easily see the good in one's heart. If there wasn't a shining radiance of joyous love and peace, the odds of making the sword comply were slim to none. His hands free he could at least slowly try and remove the sword from his belt...though, he found that difficult. Instead, he'd undue his belt and allow the sword to fall to the ground. The seal on it still wasn't active...he knew Kain would hold that as an ace.
The sword out of his possession, he noticed he was growing very, very tired. The shapes about him began to twist and blur, voices becoming humming. He knew he'd lost a lot of blood, but not this much. He'd again look to his hands...they'd soon become useless. Bone was torn apart, tendons severed. Thus, he'd use his regained psychic powers...to pick up a glass of WATER! he'd bring it over to himself and open his mouth, which in turn made him puke vast amounts of blood all over the place. After said terrific display, he'd drink down the water...then drop the glass and focus on the pitcher, bringing to him again and drinking the whole damn thing down. He'd make his way back to his original couch and sit on it, the smell of leather and blood mixing it to something vile.
And finally, he'd speak. Sort of. He'd use telepathy to allow the voice in his head to ring out throughout the room given his mute state. "The mission was a success. Murasame has been recovered and Lord Kain Sh'Zual was critically injured. To my knowledge, Death completed his mission as well. Had it not been for the interference of Kain's brother and the affect he had on Micah, I believe he'd of suffered no losses. In the end, even with a powered-up Micah, Death was still able to inject Micah." His eyelids were growing heavy, though his pain was numbing...a bad sign. "All I ask in return, Master Yurich...is a bit of bandaging. I ask NOT to be healed; this pain and the scars it will bare must serve forever as a reminder to me to never again get cocky..."

Papyrus landed like a cat in the old hanger, which had been largely ignored since few emplyees had flight abilities. He looked around, as shoots of paper launched from him and latched onto cameras, creating a black image, not snow. Snow would attraqct gaurds, no image would attract repairmen. As soon as one came, he killed him, quickly and effeciently, slipping into the disguise, hiding the books beneath the baggy areas as he slipped deeper inside.

By this point, Setsumei had managed to care for himself. He still had a complex when it came to relying on others to help him, thus even though he'd asked for help, he'd soon removed himself from the scene.
Upon coming back, he looked brand new...sorta. He looked a bit more modern to say the least. He kept the black dress pants held by the black leather belt and black dress shoes, but he'd changed the white button-down shirt in to a white poet shirt. Far more comfortable. He also sported a brand new violet jacket that matched his hair's tone to the last strand and seemed to contain several pockets. He, like everyone else in the damn world anymore, also wore a pair of black gloves as well though his were cut off at the fingers and thumbs. His hair's tint had darkened a bit, something he couldn't even explain. Finally, upon his face was a scarlet veil that both wrapped around three-fourths of his face, leaving room for only one crimson eyes to peer out of, but it also functioned as a bit of a cape. He'd also removed the amulet he kept within his shirt in to plain sight, and amulet that would glow as bright as his wings.
Still mute, and most likely forever cursed with the affliction, he'd communicate strictly telepathically. Be it a one-on-one conversation between minds or using his psychic powers to transmit a message for all to hear, it was the same warm and caring voice he once had. He'd only emerged given he knew damn well there was an intrusion; cameras may not work but the Mind's Eye is always open to the truth. Or something like that. He'd laugh if he could, wondering who'd dare to try an operation like this...none of Kain's cronies were THAT stupid. Kain on the other hand...perhaps? No, no, he had his own messes to deal with; he'd of never been able to formulate a plan to quickly.
His gaze would shift to the younger ones...he had a feeling they were the target. No one knew enough about Riot/Jonas to target him yet, aside from Kain and Seth, and again: They were occupied. And no one even knew who the hell he was, thus the only conclusion would be these two.
"Jonas, I'm curious: How did you come upon these two? I know you've the ability to put on a great front my Master, and I know your charisma could match that of any other tyrant's...but I never did find out why you have these two in your possession. In all honesty, I really don't care why, but we've an intruder and I'd like to know what they're after so their torture may be more suiting, my Master." He'd spoken to Jonas directly through his mind, keeping their conversation private. Screw God. Screw the Seraphim. Screw the Choir. Screw all of Heaven. When he needed them the most, they were gone. He was there to fend for himself, and he forced himself to survive. and it was this man and the...angel...that had helped them. He'd fallen and thus become a Fallen, meaning that not only would his wings look cool, but he was now allied to a new master.
"Master Jonas Yurich...Mistress Maria...I'll serve you until the day I die, but I do ask you provide me with as much information as possible so that I may ensure you come to rule this world without hassle." He'd crouch down on his left knee and fold his right arm over his chest in a bow that servants would give only to their masters. This time, he'd made sure everyone could hear his message...except the intruder. No message for him!

Cat could only stare at Setsumie as he just showed up out of nowhere. She almost didn't know it was him at first, had it not been for the wings. She continued to watch as he was moved to the couch and the mask removed. Unlike Maria, Cat didn't feel sick or queasy by the site. Angered by the form of torture maybe, a bit disturbed more so though. As she was told there was nothing else, she gave a quick nod then turned to go check on Caleb, assuming that the others would take care of the angel. Moving to teh door she opened it a crack. "Hey Caleb you awake?"
Caleb was quiet, not moving or responding for a moment.
"Caleb?" she walked in the room quickly moving to check on him. "Caleb!?"
The little boy blinked and glanced up at Cat. "Drako's here! He's in the hangar and just took some guys clothes."
Cat frowned slightly. "Is that all you saw?" she asked, a bit miffed that Drako would show up.
Caleb shook his head. "N-no I didn't. You might want to go stop him though, before Jonas does or something."
Cat nodded. "Yeah good idea. Get some sleep bud, I"ll see ya in the morning." she smiled and ruffled his hair, going to her bag and rustling through it till she found the tranq gun she'd swiped from Tori. Going out, she heard Setsumei ask about info. With a sigh she went over to the group to explain. "His name is Drako, but he goes by the name Papyrus. He use to work for HEC as a mercenary of sorts." she explained. "Caleb just informed me that he's come in through the hangar, and has taken someone's uniform or something."

Still in his bowing position, he'd turn his attention over to Cat and rise. Thankfully, multitasking was nothing hard to him, thus if Maria or Jonas were to ever speak to him (this is to allow me to post without having to wait between eternities for Kris) he'd be able to respond instantly. For now, he'd slowly approach Cat while placing his hands in to the lowest set of pockets on his new coat.
"Drako...Papyrus...does everyone on this rock have a damned alias? ...It doesn't matter." Again, he wanted to laugh, though one could only see the silent motions of someone laughing...until their heads would fill with his laughter. He'd learned how to laugh in someone's head! Fun. "The names of our enemies are trivial unless we plan on giving them a burial. Let's put him aside for just a moment, Cat. I'm more concerned about you; how is it you know this man? And more than that...why is it you and Caleb are here?" This time, he'd only allow Caleb and Cat to hear his words and his laughter.

Drako smiled as he turned in the hallway, knowing full well they knew of him. The fire burned in his hands like two small suns now, just under his palms. The heat felt good. He stoppedf walking and closed his eyes, envisioning the map he'd made of the area when he'd worked thewre. There was one area no one was allowed to access, just above him. He lit some paper, burned thruogh the subceiling and burst out inside a coat closet on the forbidden floor. He peeked out to see Caleb, then quickly hid himself.
