And here I was thinking that many hardcore Christians use single Bible verses to condemn people all the time.
No one is picking on anyone here. If a person's faith is not strong, then that is their affair. In a debate, everyone is fair game, be they of potent faith or no.
And aren't evangelism and conversion attempts methods of trying to alter peoples' minds?

side note: not Gods word...its me...i think all religion is wrong ...even christianity..when they put down another persons religion. you should be considerate when talking about someones god, even though you think thats not right. some questions and sayings you cant just put out there....im sorry that i exploded like that...but some of the things said here could really affect or affend people....and i was kind of affended.....i did not handle it right....and there for i worded some things a little off....
so im sorry and i just want to say to those who are in this guild and dont belive in christ...can you please at least a little considerate on the topis...you can really damage the young saints life by influence of bad teaching

Thank you Galad. i think technically one has to have read the entire bible to have misread it n'est-ce pas? ok so i did for a minute i thought you actually had a decent idea about all religion being slightly wrong. instead you lament the fact that chrisitans do (as Mr. Damroded pointed out) what they are called to do. unless i totally missed something.

See, that's why I love Wicca so much. It's kind of hard for Wicca to conflict with other religions, because at it's core, it's about individual freedom. There are tenets that about ninety-nine per cent of Wiccans adhere to, but they believe that as long as you aren't hurting anyone, you should be able to live and believe and worship as you please. So everyone's beliefs are just a little bit different. Individualized. Personalized.

I got three lines in and i'm ready to slap you. damnit man would you like an example from the new testament? I'll look into the exact verses btu when jesus told his followers to go forth and spread the word he was infact instructing them to go and tell people that thier way of thinking was wrong.
Define "Grace" i've never heard of that particular state and exactly when did it come about? if it was after the crusades i might buy it.
EVERYTHING in that book has to do with Christians today, your ENTIRE RELIGION is based on that book if the Old Testament were not imprtant or relevant wouldn't your "all powerful" God have just left it out?

the only things that were changed in old to new were the sacrifices because those were supposed to be entirely fulfilled by the death of Jesus of Nazareth and the laws of leviticus which though obsolete after the teachings of Jesus are still quoted today in relation to issues such as homosexuality and sunday shopping. and no they wouldn't be stoned to death because we do not live in a theocracy.
God still dosent want the minds of his followers altered! why else would every other religion be considered to be completely wrong if he did?
and yes christians as a group no matter what denomination do in fact judge other religions and practitioners thereof.

I have always believe in the anthropomorphic personification of natural forces, and I greatly admire its philosophies.
