Rizal, not one to really get high off of anything, kept her mind elsewhere. She began the run with the sole intention of keeping to the planned rout. She managed a gentle run as she kept up with him and although it wasn't her favorite thing to do, the run was not something she hated. She kept her pace even and her breathing steady regulating where they were going rather then how they went. She watched for cars and kept her eyes moving around in a protective manner as she flanked her charge. As they passed a young neighborhood through the winding rout that would ensure about a fifteen minute run, she began to remember her boot camp. She had run this road a lot and felt more comfortable here. Slipping next to the man she jogged more like his friend, side by side, rather then his stalker. She kept her head level with the ground as she made it up the slowly steeping hill and turned down the familiar street that would take them back into the city past a park where they would go through the other exorcises she once did. As they made it to the park she looked over towards it, out towards the play equipment and the swings where they did pull ups and other activities of such... joy. She took a deep breath and huffed in mild upset anger before getting back on track.
Rizal once more began to flank the young model as they made it into the city. They still were in the more agricultural side of the city running through the park rather then taking the streets, but Rizal's attitude changed once they hit the 'city' as she began to flank him again and run more strictly with better form. Where as in the little town she was loose running with somewhat limp arms and moving her head around, she did quick scans with her eyes and had a stiff upper body, her hand passing her gun's holster each time it came down. Rizal weaved them through back street after back street loosing someone with a bad sense of direction before taking him on a sharp curve which lead down a long road with small maple trees and a gravel road. The road was somewhat short but it was pretty and six maple trees, three on each side, lined the entrance. "I have something to do here, bare with me." She requested as she came up to the door and opened it for him. It had been a long run so she had worked up a sweat that made her shirt cling to her back although the vest covered it nicely. Her face was wet as well and she wiped her forehead as she held open the door. Once he entered, she shut the door behind him and signed in at the desk looking like a normal person with their hair back. She then escorted Rick to a seat with her right by his side. The nice lady at the desk who was a plump purple-shirted woman pulled open the window. "Miss Rizal, the water's free, help yourselves. It will be a little while." Rizal nodded to the woman, who strangely reminded her of an eggplant, and looked around nervously for any signs of a psychologists office. They were all over the place but moderately discrete. "Do you want any water?" Rizal asked as she noticed the cooler by the other wall. She would much rather keep him sitting then let him move around. She could always outrun him if he bolted, but if he was half way to the door already, she may not get that chance.

There was something about this challenging pace, beat of sneakers on the ground, and ease brought by the endorphins in the brain. First off, there was really no way the two could argue when it came to their morning jogs. One of the few times they didn't have some form of conflict since there was not much room to speak, not that they spoke much in the first place. He couldn't help, but glance over at her for brief moments in their jog. The girl seemed to be a stranger, out of character now that she lacked: a sadistic grin, glint in her eyes before narrowing them into a glare, sharp bark of her voice, and well any trace of her poisonous venom. It might've been the high, but she seemed more attractive.
Most definitely the high.
"I'll get it myself, need to. . . walk it off." Rather than wait for her response,"Thanks for the offer, anyways." He stopped short from walking off without thanking her for the offer. Something was off, and Rick didn't like it. His instinct didn't lie to him, but the man wasn't one to jump to conclusions. Instead, green eyes caught his breath at the water cooler. After gulping four to six cups of water, I'm either out of shape, or need to drink some more fluids. The former was highly unlikely -- they have been jogging for awhile. Naturally, he paced a bit to cool down 'cause unlike Red, and her habit of skipping the cooling off along with stretching, he cared 'bout feeling sore later in the afternoon. Perspiration clung to his brow, and other concentrated areas that he simply wiped his face by jerking at his shirt -- using it as a towel. Afterwards, putting it back on properly, and stretching every muscle for twenty five seconds. His little ritual after a nice jog.

Rizal stretched out in the chair extending her long legs ahead of her. She was doing stuff all day so she would stretch later. She watched him drink with mild curiosity. He either didn't realize that smoking would cause old smoke to work up, or he had forgotten he was smoking yesterday. She laced her fingers and stretched up above pushing her chest out towards the ceiling and curling her legs back in. She put her arms along the chairs watching her charge come back over. She examined him as he began to stretch and let her mind drift. It would take them a while to work up their new file and their old files. It was early in the morning though so they were probably the first ones in. She wasn't sure what was taking the doctors so long to review the file. She didn't worry about it by any means, just glancing at the clock. She would rather not go in and talk to the psychologist. They always were somewhat foreign to her. No matter how much they explained why she acted like she did or how to fix it, actually doing it seemed impossible.
The moments ticked by and she whipped off her neck before pulling out her hair. She stood up and shook her fingers down her scalp loosening the tense strands from their crimped curl. It made a wave in her long, natrually straight, red hair but she knew that would go away. She slipped the hair tie onto her wrist and parted her hair to the side letting it fall into her face. She sat down comforted by the red sheet hiding her expressions as she watched her charge stretch. He was definitely a good looking boy. There was nothing bad about his looks but she just wasn't interested in him. She was even against the idea of falling for someone she was in charge of. She would much rather they be someone she had no aquatint with so if she needed to, she could harm them without feeling bad. With Rick, he always just managed to piss her off enough that she wouldn't care if she killed him. The girl really didn't know what it was about him but she was just against the kid no matter what he did or said. Jennifer tipped her head forward and began to pick at her nails as she remembered the previous night. The girl felt a tickle in her lungs and began to cough. Her hand came up in a fist and she knew that something had to be wrong just at that point.
The door opened as they finished their activities. "The doctors will see you now. Mr. Raver, you will be seeing Dr. H McCollins. Ms. Rizal, you will be seeing Dr. M McCollins, his wife." The woman who came to the door was a small lady with bouncy brown hair that was mixed with shimmers of blond. She was a cute girl with a small nose and round cheeks that made her look like she belonged to a clan of mice. She looked like a few well placed balls smashed together and drawn out added to some plastic legs but she was obviously a modest girl. Freckles lined her nose and cheeks as well as some cute large glasses that made her look like she belonged on a farm. She had a bandanna with a little butterfly on it and cute little bumble bees on her scrubs.
Rizal felt like she wanted to barf. She got up quickly when the door opened and doctors left the girls mouth. She wrapped her arm tightly around Rick's upper arm and stepped over him picking him up and placing him on his feet. She kept a firm grip on him to make sure he wouldn't run and judged his reaction. Little did either know that through the mirror on the wall next to the door, their psychologists were watching their reactions as well judging how to go about this difficult piecing.

"Ho-ho," incoherent noises of obvious confusion; "What?" Immediately his attention snapped to the woman in scrubs, she's not the problem. Forehead furrowed before betrayal set in, not soon after turning his attention to Red. You can't be angry with the stranger, she seemed pleasant enough, and was simply a messenger: however, he could be outraged with the girl who led him here. No wonder she was so ******** content! Rick was a sheep being blindly shepherded by her, and he strongly disliked the feeling. They were equals, and yet Jennifer Rizal felt she had the right to withhold such information -- as if he was a child incapable of making his own decisions!
"You're kidding me, right?" There was a strong desire for her to nod with that creepy grin of hers, and tell him this was her twisted humor. After all, he had a loathing for doctors; any kind, but mostly the ones with a medical degree. . . or psychiatry. This was him pleading to her to say it wasn't so, that this wasn't some ploy of hers to get him to be compliant. That she respected him enough to not press his buttons -- Red was pretty damn skillful at that. Please, inside Rick wanted to believe that she didn't just do what he thought she did. Yet, his disbelief wasn't suspended too long: this was the sort of thing she would pull. The silence was infuriating, but his anger had yet to bubble up -- there was no reason to be angry. . . yet. Not guilty until proven so, right?

Jennifer watched him with an emotionless face. She didn't move, or force him to come, but sat there waiting for him to realize that it was real. As it began to sink in she tugged at his arm trying to get him to come willingly even though she knew he wouldn't. She had grabbed his arm for a reason and this was definitely it. Forcing him to go helped her go too though. She had to get him behind there by going there herself. If that was not the case, then she wouldn't get here any more often then him. It wasn't that she hated their kind, but that she disliked psychiatrists in particular. Doctors were okay. They could do things for you and they could figure stuff out, but she didn't want to be analyzed any more then he did, maybe even less. The hardest thing for her to do was talk about her past and that was exactly what they would be covering first. "Orders and schedules. Orders and schedules." She had said this before each time he had to do something he didn't want to. She slipped behind him and pushed him until he would stumble into moving. Once she did manage to get him moving it was easier. The nurse came out of the doorway holding it open for her as they both came behind the door due to pushes. "Right, can I have him in the first room and you in the second Ms. Rizal?" The sweet nurse asked. Rizal pushed him into the door and came into the room with him sitting him down. "If you're not here when our sessions are over I will go find higher management, the police, the dogs, and whatever else it takes to get you back." She threatened as she forced him down into a chair. She didn't like handling him this much but it was necessary. One the threat was done she quickly went to the door and left waiting outside for a moment to see if he would bolt, well, for more then a moment. The mousy nurse watched her curiously, "Next room please," she asked gesturing to the open door. Rizal blinked and looked at the next door. She then looked back at the door her charge was behind. "Only the doctors will see you two Ma'am. They've been informed he won't like them so please, go to the next room." Reluctantly, Rizal moved into the next room and slowly shut the door. She felt like she was locking herself away but as she looked around the room, she felt a little better about it. She went over to a chair off to the side and sat down away from the two chairs by each other where they would undoubtedly end up. She didn't want this session to go any faster then it had to. She didn't even know what time they were getting out at.

He felt disappointed, but had come to the realization it was his own fault. No one changed unless they, themselves, wanted to. To be honest, Rick never got to know Jennifer Rizal. The raven-haired man wasn't allowed to, and should've given up long ago on his goal of knowing the girl with striking scarlet hair, and odd sense of fashion. At first, curiosity drove him to push harder, but there was something deeper he had yet to explore to explain his unrelenting drive. It was at that precise moment, shoved not so gently into a chair that his crystal clear eyes were raised to meet the single eye visible to him. There was a vacancy within him, emotions had broke the dam, and exploded internally. "Alright." His response to the threats, what else did he expect?
While the model was being led by his bodyguard accompanied by a staff member named Kayla, or that's what her tag said, his gaze fell to the ground. There was no need to look where they were heading; eyes were shut since he felt the tears well up, and was putting all of his efforts to prevent losing face. Men didn't, and don't cry. His father taught him this, his sister didn't cry when she broke her right arm with seven different fractures on the same bone -- at best her eyes were glazed over with tears never shed. Never had he such a desire to fight against it, to say ******** the orders and the schedules.
Single hand wiped his brow to his chin, a habit of his to do when stressed, or heavily embarrassed. Pads of his fingers brushed his bangs back, and tucked them behind his ears. He let out deep, weary sigh as jade eyes were lifted from the ground to glance around -- ceiling first. It's synthetic warmth, his attention to details was sharper than usual: this design of warm earth colors, a few friendly scarlets or crimsons to inspire good feelings related to love -- trust, comfort, etc. "Ouch," he groaned to himself as he straightened his back to hear a few discs snap. Posture had been killing him, shouldn't have slouched so much. Everything felt drained, it took a lot of energy to suppress his desire to vocalize what he felt: the pain, the sadness, the outrage, and the anger he held for himself. This wasn't something new, Rick had set himself up for this.

Rizal took a slow deep breath as she continued to wait. She watched the door with anticipation sometimes glancing at the clock and wondering if they would always take this long. They were here nearly a half an hour before they were even called in, she observed, and they still weren't being called. She really didn't like this although what she didn't know was they were observing them. They observed them very closely for how they interacted and their general personalities. She heard a few mumbles outside the door and watched it with a glare now. Someone was just out there, doing nothing. She felt irritated and upset all over again due to this although she didn't hate them. There were at least two of them. She wondered mildly if this was going to be like her last few times at a psychologists before she ever met Rick. She hoped not. She hoped this one would at least moderately understand her point of view rather then insisting she did something for a reason she did not. They never understood that she loved her father, or that her past had nothing to do with her present. They didn't understand how she was retrained to follow schedules, or forced into being a body guard. They just understood that she was some poor misfortune girl with a past.
In the other room, the door opened slowly as Dr. H McCollins listened to a few last words from his wife and entered. He came in dressed like an average person in sweat pants and a loose jacket although he was a bit more casual then most. He had a round baby face with a fuzzy mustache that looked like it never became prickly at all. His hair was short and somewhat stuck up by it's own natrual motives and his shoulders were broad putting him in the larger category for build. He was a smiling man though, one with lots of smile lines and a serious face at the moment. His eyes were kind and he had a submissive demeanor about him. He didn't create authority when he walked into a room, rather observation and caution. Coming into the room with Rick he didn't look at the boy, but examined his surroundings. His eyes slowly settled at Rick, but they didn't peer, or even observe. They merely sat there as he took a seat himself on the comfy chair across from him. "So I hear you didn't know you were coming here," Dr. H McCollins started. He reached down and scratched his foot leaning back in the chair and drawing up his ankle across his knee. He tipped his head lightly to just watch him for a moment, examining him for how he was before deciding how to continue. "I'm sorry it is this way on our first meeting. I like my patients knowing that they're being treated rather then just brought in unannounced like it seems Ms. Rizal has done to you. Is she generally rough with you?" Dr. H McCollins decided that sense the boy was obviously giving up, he should change the tables a little and approach him talking about her instead of himself. If he spoke about him, then he was 'attacking' him from analyzing him. If he just got the boy talking, he could watch his movements and behaviors enough to know him. He wanted to know the relationship between them anyway. After he knew what was going on he could go in and try to figure out what was going wrong on his side and fix that so he could have a healthy relationship with his body guard.

His immediate response was suspicion; he didn't like doctors. Experience had led him to mistrust them at sight, but the reason had been long forgotten: however, the notion remained. Wary eyes followed him, not at all shy about staring at the older man. Soon enough, the cool silence was interrupted by the therapist whom took it upon himself to start the conversation. "Jennifer has her days," lips formed a straight line as he swallowed the hurt her name brought. Jennifer Rizal, summoned her stoic expression, but the bruises and cuts hushed his resentment. Guilt managed to find its way.
"We all do." Rick had been given sufficient time to regain his composure. "Then again, could be her time of month for all I know," a light grin was tossed with a shrug. The model recalled Lex correcting him, claiming that women were more prone to hormonal changes before and after rather than during their menstrual period, and that immediately brought warmth to his expression. It was comical how easily she got riled up over the sexist, quote on quote ignorant comment which was only a jibe.
He was able to relax from his tense, and proper posture to become more fluid. A slow roll of the shoulders relieved some stress, and a few inward snaps that he probably only heard. Surprised by how tense his body was, the man rolled his neck as he continued to speak already eager to switch topics. "Anyways, could you tell me the reason why I gotta go through this?" It had only begun, but Rick was already interested in getting out of here. After all, he had no desire to share his thoughts with a stranger whose opinion he could care less for. Sure, the guy had his doctorate and his respect, but given the situation they met; combined with his hesitation to be treated. There was nothing wrong that needed to be fix, and surely he wasn't broken goods. Perfectly sound in the mind as well as body -- there was no reason to be talking to the Doc. "With all due respect," on beat he had made the quick addition, there was no disrespect intended. Simply, like many people, he was exactly keen on being treated or speak his mind while lying on a couch to a complete stranger.

The doctor scribbled something on his paper as he was posed the question. He had been just observing his patient for the time but now he had to get down to the nitty gritty about what was going on. If he didn't tell this man what he was doing here then he could freak out and that would not be good. Considering how to go about telling this to an unwilling patient he chose the easiest way, disassociate it from Rick and make him know that he is not the cause nor the one who is being treated. If he made this seem like it was more Rizal's fault that he was here, then he would have the proper conversations about their relationship. Then again, that may cause for some vicious attacks against his wife's patients in the future and that would not be good. "My wife and myself are not your conventional councilors. We are not here to get into either of your heads and figure out what makes you tick. We are here because your company hired us to solve the conflicts between yourself and Jennifer Rizal. It seems that while the other guards have all been fairly kind to their charges Jennifer has been cruel to you and you have been avoiding her. We are here to merely get down to the bottom of the problem and make it so that you are safe with your guard."
Dr. H McCollins flipped through the file he had on the 'couple' going to the medical records. He examined them for a time before glancing at the man in front of him. He watched him cautiously for a moment. "From what this says there is no way she could just be aggressive to you in that time of the month. She injured you a number of times over more then just a week's span when she was assigned to guard you." The doctor shook his head flipping through the file. He pulled his glasses from the buttons on his shirt and put them on examining the file looking more like a doctor as he sat forward. "It appears as though she's been violent throughout her career as a body guard even before she was assigned to you as well. My wife is working with her now so we can hope that improves. At the moment we will be keeping you both seperate for seperate consultations to help mend fences individually and then, hopefully, after both my wife and myself feel you're both ready, we will be able to start having sessions together, the four of us."
Dr. H McCollins watched Rick for any reaction to what he was saying. He knew that it was probably not what he wanted to hear and that although he didn't suggest outright that the problems lied with Rick, the indication that he was ill too was an undertone. The doctor wouldn't lie. He had looked at the past file of Rick from his old psychiatrists and he wasn't too impressed by the information they had gathered. He didn't like to go on past information. Sometimes it was completely irrelevant but it did prove useful for family relations and knowing a little about who he was dealing with. McCollins knew that both him and his wife had all three files, one on the couple, and one on either participant in the relationship. Hopefully they could trade notes and read them until they understood both people enough to figure out how to solve this. From what he could tell already Rick was definitely the victim as they had suspected but it seemed as though Rizal's attitude was not unprovoked.

If there's anything you dun agree, feel free to point it out. It's late, and I probably did sumpin wrong. I dunno.
“Let’s avoid getting validating their histories,” the pale woman was quick to add; “for now.” It was nearly protocol for them to take their own histories from the patient since having a degree in psychology didn’t exactly mean that the reports were credible, or of use. Their field was constantly growing, changing that information quickly became outdated in a matter of years - even months. Amber-brown eyes searched him, but there was no obvious reaction. She wasn’t sure if it was her imagination that he lightly nodded, or if her husband had simply turned away.
Lately, there was a rift between them. Margo got called by an unstable patient, and ran off at the first hint that something was wrong, or the doctor had to stay late in her study with the door locked. He knew not to disturb when the door was completely shut after a few minutes past three ‘o clock: they’re working hours was from nine in the morning to three in the afternoon. Half an hour before three was left for them to organize their work, and to prepare to leave the workplace. They were both busy, she rationalized - after all, she was a committee member part of a program designed to provide support, information, understanding, and advocate for those with handicaps or “learning disabilities”, three days out of the week went to The Studio where she had her Tai Bo sessions, and of late had been visiting her mother regularly - her condition was getting worse, or at least that’s what she told her husband every time she left. It has gotten to the point where Margo no longer slept in the same bed because she spent the nights in her office, or with her mother.
A rich blend of emotions simmered within her, and she wanted to take the edge off. Last night had been rough, she had been pouring over Jennifer Rizal’s case file, making calls to her previous therapists, officers that dealt with her, and attempted to make sense of this person. Everyone reiterated the most obvious of things, and kept repeating themselves. After all that work, there was nothing really to show for it. And, on top of that, she had blacked out and woke up five in the morning with her shoulder acting as her pillow with thick folders beneath her along with scattered papers. A dry sigh escaped her lips after leaning against the wall. The latest information on her client was faxed recently, and on time her eager pet scurried down the hallway to hand the file along with her black coffee. Concern was immediately raised when it came to her condition, but a soft smile and her silver tongue was exercised to dispel the nuisance,” Do me a favor, and leave a message for my husband. Gently remind him that today we have a meeting, and I need him to dress for the occasion.”
After all, Margo was fully capable of handling her own matters and taking care of herself. Not to say that the fact her secretary cared meant nothing - she valued it, but at the moment she needed a moment alone. Few brief seconds, the doctor took deep breath, exhaled, and entered the room. Coolly a greeting was issued with eye contact that lasted for only a brief moment,” Good morning, Miss Rizal.” Dressed in a power suit - striking, dark, and simple - for the meeting that would take place at noon; had he forgotten? Harold was dressed in nothing more than sweats. “I apologize for having you wait. I had to deal a few matters that needed my attention,” as she skimmed over the recently acquired paperwork.
Nothing new, exasperated with her wasted efforts. The french descendant had her thick, cocoa hair back in a neat bun. One single strand had strayed from the rest, and she brushed it behind her ear before shutting the folder. There was a subtle hint of bags beneath the dark eyes, but had been hidden behind a light barrier of foundation -- she preferred to use the least amount of make up as her tastes were simple, and well of great contrast. "I'm Doctor Margo Collins, and I shall be you're psychiatrist during your time here." Fingers had interlinked with one another as her gaze fell on her newest client: Jennifer Rizal.
"I'm not much for small talk, to be honest. This is about you, and I'm only here to listen and help in any way I can," before having a sip of her coffee. "I'm assuming you know how this works when it comes to client confidentiality, and my obligations to ethics and legal matters. We can skip over formalities: what would you like to discuss?"

Rizal eyed the woman when she came in. She was on the far side of the room away from the door. Her feet were folded up on the chair so she sat cross legged almost in a meditative position. She stayed still and quiet as she listened to the woman. Talking was going to be hell. She took a quick glance over the woman. She was boring at best. Her make up was dull and her posture, although good, was false. She looked like someone ready for anything but she felt like someone ready for nothing. Rizal didn't trust her. She never trusted them though. She glared at the girl and closed her eyes again listening to the ticks of the clock. What did she want to talk about. Well, she wanted to talk about the clock stopping but that would never happen. Even if she wanted it to, she couldn't get it to stop. Clocks were always clicking until they ran out of clicks. She desperately wanted to say nothing. She didn't want to talk about anything, but her training was better then that. Rizal unfolded her long legs and pulled out her gun. She stood up and went over to a small table in the room. She set it down on the table and sat down next to it pulling out her cleaning kit. She had time.
"Have you ever gone hunting?" she asked the woman. Training, when someone asks you something you can't answer, change the subject. Rizal considered how guns could possibly change the subject away from her as she began to break apart her gun so that she could clean it out. She worked quickly knowing the psychiatrist might not like guns. Then again, that would be great. She would love this one to be afraid of her. It would be interesting to see the reaction of a scardy cat. Her mind flashed back to her charge. She considered shooting through the wall at them. It would get him out in the open more. She might be able to hear him if that happened. It would help ease her worry that he had run off. If he did leave then she would probably not let him off the hook until he was drown in a lake or sick.

What was going through her mind, silently Margo mused. This red-headed stranger was an interesting case; everyone she had spoken to lamented their inability to get through as they painted an image of a poor, neglected child that was manipulated into doing things that children shouldn't be doing. Yet, the person she saw before her was collected, distant, and coolly sitting with each leg bent. They had a decade between one another, and carefully the woman watched the mute.
A pregnant silence hung over between them, but nothing was still. She felt as though a single movement made on her part was going to be interpreted, weighted, and judged. Wordlessly their eyes met, Jennifer glared at her momentarily as she simply observed with a serious, intense countenance. Things of interest, that she studied took her away from the world into a zone in which time froze, and problems dissolved. There was only the task at hand.
Suddenly there was movement, with the sound of footsteps interrupting the tense silence. A question was asked, and she had to muffle her amusement. This seemed to be a scare tactic; bring out her gun during the session when she could very well clean it on her own time. Yet, she was willing to play along to see where this would lead them. "No, but that's not to say I haven't held a gun and used it." In fact, there was collection of weapons that she had experimented with at a young age. Father had promised to take her out hunting in either Montana, Texas, or locally in Pennsylvania, but he never had the chance to fulfill his word.
Discreetly the woman's crimson lips curled; "I never liked pistols, couldn't shoot a single thing for the life of me. They placed a Cola can in front of me, not even three feet away, and I couldn't hit it." Something similar to an amused chuckle escaped her,"Handheld toys never suited me, and I opted out for the rifle." God, that brings back so many memories of him and the boys: the dynamite incident which could've nearly killed them all had the arrogant first born son got his way and the lighter worked, or when Alphonse (the same boy) had the genius idea of holding their own French Revolution against the dictator Beruta -- the slavic woman who basically raised them. What that woman suffered dealing with the delinquent of her brother, and that wasn't including the other two: one whom worshipped him, and the other one who was scared of him. And then, there was Margo -- Daddy's little girl and Alphonse's only rival.
"Rifles are cautious, precise, and above all accurate. Pistols, on the other hand, have the tendency to be impulsive, unstable due to the insecurity when it comes to holding the piece of metal -- you have to be confident to keep it still unlike the rifle where you only have to be sure, and in my experience has more bark than bite." The doctor collected herself, and watched the bodyguard for a reaction. "Pistols are easier to disguise -- that's why you carry one, no? A quick fix in comparison to the premeditation necessary for the rifle: however, it is the rifle that you take to hunt rather than the pistol. One can't take a chance when it comes to pistols; making rifles the logical choice. Wouldn't you agree?"

Rizal wanted to laugh as the girl started talking about rifles. Although she knew the pistol was more of a show gun, the girl obviously didn't know everything. The rifle had more of a kick then the pistol did due to the sheer power and size. It could knock your arm out of the socket if you held it wrong and here she was saying the pistol was less accurate. The pistol, for her, was only less accurate because she didn't have it as stable as with a rifle. The rifle had to be against your body where as the pistol did not. A wise beginner would hold the pistol with two hands against a table so it had that third contact. The rifle would need a whole set up. She covered her amusement with the care of cleaning her gun. She wiped emotions and reactions from her face making this event more serious then humorous.
"No," she replied simply. "I carry a pistol because a part of their agreement with the government was I didn't get my hands on anything bigger." She patted the case on her hip. "Does that look discrete to you?" She continued to clean out her weapon. "As for hunting, rifles can be fitted with scopes easier giving someone a farther view. The rifle also can stick out of a bush hiding you rather then putting you in plain sight. Also the rifle has more of a barrel to rest on something so you don't have to tire out your arms while holding it up and waiting for a target. The pistol is not obsolete in shooting or Rick would be long sense dead. You were just obsolete as a handler. The kick of the pistol is easier to correct as you don't have to hold it in one spot. You just have to be experienced enough to figure out how to cope with it."
Rizal flipped over the cloth on the long metal stick she was using to clean out the barrel of her gun. She held it up to the light looking down it and then continued to run the cloth through, back and forth, back and forth. She let out a relaxed sigh. The smell that had filled the room from the small amount of cleaner was making her feel better. Also accusing the girl of being stupid helped as well. She wondered how much longer it would take to get this over with. She really just wanted to leave.

"Let get me get this straight," the boy regressed to being somewhat apprehensive; dark eyebrows furrowed. Suddenly, his hands were in action as he spoke. A concise cut in the air was accompanied with the statement. His body adjusted to the chair, soon slouching. Arms crossed over his abdomen -- none too pleased. Lips pressed together; exasperated he asked a rhetorical question.
"I'm going to be here for awhile then?" His hand slid away from the adjacent arm. Instead, the palm met with his face with a dry sigh. It was an habit, to wipe his face with his dominant hand, the right, whenever he wasn't entirely comfortable. Jade eyes closed for the mini-ritual and afterwards opened to gaze at his new Doc. This was about the second or third time that they stuck him with a professional in this field.
In defeat, Rick exhaled through his nose. His head cocked twenty five degrees or so; wondering whether he should opt out to being defiant. The blank look shifted away from Doc to the window. "I'll cooperate, just tell me what I gotta do." There was a little girl that depended on him, a sister who loved him to death, but wasn't willing to let the gun toting maniac anywhere near her or her daughter, and he had nothing to fall back on. This was it.
"Look, I know I haven't been behaving and all that. But, if you can do me a favor," he scratched the back of his neck before glancing at the older man and then to the door; "In return, I'll do my best and share my feelings -- whatever you want. You see, 'Rizal', ruined my chances to see my kid. Lexi flipped a s**t and probably ain't to keen about letting me around her and the kiddo with Red in tow. So, what I'm asking is -- can you manage for me to see her, here?" Rick's expression portrayed the dire need of how important his niece was, and how damn desperate he was.

The doctor blinked and then just stared at Rick in complete shock. He flipped back to the other medical records and quickly wrote something down. He nodded as he thought about what was going on and knew immediately that had to be fixed. "I will do the best I can to reunite you with her. I'll have to ask the Company for permission to bring her to our sessions but it should be okay with them if it is for counseling purposes and that definitely is for counseling." The man continued to sit high in his chair as he read something over. This would take longer than he had originally anticipated if things had become like that. He hoped that talking to Rick he could at least ease some of the stress the man had. He knew that the harder job was going to be in the other room with Rizal. What could possess her to take a man away from his kid. He wrote down the name said and read over a little bit more of the file. He had already read it thoroughly the night before but he was still checking on things and double checking before he said anything. Finally he decided that getting to the nitty gritty would be the best thing to do at this point that way he could have a better excuse to get the women to visit him.
The man glanced up at Rick and began to write down the different injuries he had tallying them at the top of his page. "So she predominately shoots you in the foot it looks like. I have a feeling that's because you've been running from her. Those injuries make sense. You probably upset her by running away and with what we know of her past, the gun is most definitely her way of talking. As for why you started to irritate her I have no ideas. Would you mind telling me a bit about what she was like when you two first met? Perhaps we can make heads or tails of her reactions if we start from the beginning." He sat patiently waiting for the man to speak with his pencil in his hand and his paper in his lap. His gentle face never changing from that of a caring person. He just hoped that Rick would be willing to talk before he got to see his daughter. The next sessions would undoubtedly be filled with just reunions and letting Rick be happy. Maybe if they did every other session with the kid Rick would start to feel better after he relaxed a bit. He could see that a relationship shattered like that would horrify a normal person and Rick was close enough.
The doctor thought about how horrible it would be if his wife had a kid and he was separated without explanation by a person who was suppose to guard them. He had scribbled down a note for his wife to ask Rizal why she would do something like that. It seemed like the girl would at least have some knowledge of family after growing up like she had with her father. All the same he had read her file and knew that there was basically no way to break through to the woman. His wife had her work cut out for her. He considered asking Rick if changing therapists would be okay once in a while just to let him have a whack at the military b***h in the other room.
