Name: Haley Age: 19 Sex: Female Denomination: Not sure. I grew up going to holy-spirit filled churches that believed in tounges and healing through faith ("miracle churches", then moved to a more commerical/charismatic church that was giant. Now, I go to a southern baptist church which is entirely different. I'm always discovering new sides of Christianity.

Hellooo. I've been Christian my whole life, but I've wandered away from God many times (mainly out of laziness). Recently at a Bible camp though, God performed miracles that I will never forget. A small part of it is that He healed my asthma. Also, I prophesied over people that I'd never even seen, and told them exactly what they needed to hear without knowing it. I did this for several people, and most of them were crying by the time I finished talking. The one that wasn't crying went on to tell me about his problems, and that I told him exactly what he had been waiting to hear for a long time.
I'm currently a junior in high school, and my goal for this year is to bring as many people to the LORD as possible.
This is my second Gaia account, made entirely for Christian purposes. I'm copying my devo's into my Gaia journal for all to read and coment on.

Savvy Bee Hey everyone. I'm SaVanna, and I'm studying nutrition/dietetics and sociology in college. I grew up in the church, but had a brief stint of atheism my senior year in high school and my first year in college. Clearly, God would not have that. I came back to Christianity more dedicated than ever, and now I'm working in children's ministry and praise & worship. Nice to meet yall. I'm glad you came back to the L ORD, SaVanna. It's easy to slip away sometimes, but always take note of the miracles you whitness and it won't be easy to forget God's love.

0_0vi-an Hi my name is Vi-an.. I've been a Christian most my life though I've studied in Catholic schools. I've always been a passive Christian, just letting people talk down about my belief because i really didn't care, to me their opinions are nothing but opinions. Some really hard events about two years ago made me make really stupid decisions, but it's all getting better now and i find myself stronger in the faith. You're right to respect their oppinions, but never put up with people talking down our God. When people disrespect God (this is my oppinion), that's the only time we have a right to get angry. NEVER remain passive about that! Besides, they're going to Hell without God. Are you really going to just let that slide by?

Welcome to all; we're glad to have you, and I strongly encourage everyone to chime in on some of our other threads and discussion. Don't worry about how old some of them are; if you have something to contribute, do so. We'd love to hear it.
And Psalm, just so you know ... this is the Bio thread, not the Bicker thread. Please, if you want to disagree with someone, either start a thread for it or take it to PMs. This thread is just "Hi, I'm so-and-so, here's my background".

Hi, My name is Rhiannon but you can all call me Rai. Or Rai-chan. Either or is fine really. I'm 19 and I was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Which is an hour south of Chicago. I was baptized as a Catholic when I was a baby according to my grandma. Personally I don't remember it. o.o I went to CCD classes when I was 6,7, and 8. When we moved to Georgia, I decided to not continue it because I was unsure of the fact that we might move and wanted to focus more on school. Sure enough, that summer we moved to Plano, TX.
When I was 12, I began to question somethings about Christianity in general that didn't make logical sense, one being how could Mary be pregnant when she was a Virgin. At 13 I decided to look into Buddhism, since it seemed like the most peaceful path. Unfortunatly I discovered first hand that not only was Christian persecution non-existant in a Southern State like Texas but it seemed that the Christians who lived there were doing the persecutions. I cried when a fellow classmate told me I was going to hell, when another classmate/friend who also was Christian, reassured me that I would get to heaven because he knew (he also knew that God would know) that I have a good heart and I'm a good person. From 14 into 16, I was interested into paganism and Celtic Mythology, mainly Welsh Mythology. Why? Because at that time, I discovered something interesting about my name. It's origin came from the Celtic Goddess of Horses, Rhiannon. It also came to mean witch, nymph and great queen.
I converted to Christianity last year because of my boyfriend. Now he didn't tell me to convert, he wished I did but he rather wanted me to happy on my path. I stupidily converted because I was in love with him. Word to the wise: DON'T DO THAT! EVER! Even tell your friends. It's a stupid idea. Why? Well, at that time, my beliefs reflected my overall personality: I'm a liberal. I am a feminist (think 1970's feminist) I was basically a peace loving, tree hugging, opinionated hippie in a sense. I went into the Christian chat room on myspace. Another bad idea (Thankfully they're down for now). When I expressed my views, many told me I was going to hell because I didn't think or believe exactly like they did. They were overly devout and overly conservative. Whereas I'm not all that religious. But I decided to go back to my Catholic roots, and the said I needed to accept Jesus Christ, convert to Christianity, or else I would burn in hell eternally. And that they didn't want to burn in hell eternally. Because of this, I was a wreck. I had enough drama from school, home, work, and not being able to talk to my boyfriend. I was an emotional wreck.
But someone saved me from it all. It wasn't Jesus but a pagan by the name of Lupis Silvermoon. Me and him got into a stupid argument and later we became friends. He turned my life upside down..or really right side up. He took me out of the darkness I was sitting in and thrusted me into the life. He showed me what life was like. We had a falling out a few weeks ago. We made up. After he apologized for what he's done, it made me realize how much of a Catholic I was.
Going back over this, I don't think I wandered away from God but more like God saw how much I was suffering and purposely told me to go, and get a better hold of myself and to come back when I was more emotionally stable. I mean that could be why I met Lupis in the end.
But anways, I like anime, rock music, manga, video games and Perfect World International...
o.o I think I wrote a little too much. o.o

Hello. The name's Zach, I'm 20, and I'm from Anaheim, California. I've been a Methodist ever since I was little, and with the exception of one year, have gone to church virtually every Sunday. I'm an assistant leader for two separate Youth Groups, a member of the Young Adult groups at both of those churches, and I volunteer for the Tech Team for both services at one of the churches. Up until about two years ago, I never really believed in all of the high and mighty stuff that was going on around me each Sunday morning or evening. However, after attending Sierra Service Project during my last two years as a youth, my eyes were opened. Pretty soon I got extremely involved in my home church. Then, after some economic difficulties, it was decided that the Youth Groups of my church and another would be joined together. I began getting involved at that church, as well. This coming summer, I'm planning on returning to SSP as a staffer, and possibly for many more summers after that.
Thanks for letting me into the guild.

Hi ^^ I'm Julia and I'm 20 years old. I've always been Christian, though I never attended church until high school. The amount of fake people there really pushed me away to where I quit the youth group and prayed and worshipped on my own time. There for a while, I lost my way and had only a very small relationship with God. Lately I've been feeling lost, like something is missing, so I came back to the only thing that made sense.
More personally, writing is my favorite hobby, hopefully to turn career sometime soon. If you wanna know anything else, just ask ^^

Hello! I don't really like giving out my name and age over the internet (also because my mum watches like a hawk whenever i'm on the computer, sometimes) so just call me Kyo. I like writing, reading, meeting new people, wolves, listening to music, and talking with my friends. I am very passionate about writing and if you ever met me i would probably be in Joseph Beth's or in a Music Store. I've always been a Christian even though i have doubted my religion once. I have awesome friends, but feel bad for some of them. Most of them go to church but they never take in what's being said. They curse a lot, and it breaks my heart. I try to give them scriptures, but they just don't listen. Anyway, I love the color purple, along with rock, christian, and metal music. I love talking to people and making friends so feel free to send me a request! ^-^
I heart Jesus!
