Well Some people do... They REALLY don't like Posers. There are a TON of Gangs and they all think of it as their Territory.

Not directly related, but does anyone else notice that every character, save about a few guest appearances, has either blue or green eyes? It really got to me after the third season. =/

u guys are arguing about whether smallville is racists? THis is about as lame as people blowing eachother up for land in the middle-east. Guys it's a show. Also its in the middle of Kansas, you arent going to find alot of different races as you would in perhaps New York. And I really dought the creators of the show would try and hint racism into the show, they arent pulling a Walt Disney and writing "sex" in the sky((see the lion King)) But seriously they arent racists, i mean white people on the show have been killed or injsred themselves.

....well racism is kind of a big deal. Its something that needs to be noticed. Although the show is not racist per say. But you still need to try to cancel out racism

yea, also, clarks best friend was black and he has a crush on lana whose like something, so yea, deffinatly not racsist

Plus in the comics Pete wasn't even black but they made him black in the show so that they put more racial diversity into the show

It's not racist not to have black people in a show. It's racist to say that the black people in the show are worth less than the white OR the other way around. Racism isn't excluded to white against black, only no one ever notes that white people get affected too.
Think of it this way; how many black people got killed in this show? How many white people got killed in this show?
If it's racist to kill the black guys it should be to kill the white ones too.
I don't think it's racist at all - it's pretty much the opposite; They don't make any difference between black people and white people, both colors get killed!

Calling Smallville racist is a lot like say'ing The Parkers, The Bill Cosby Show and Family Matters racist... however Unlike the three I listed There was an Asian (lana) and an African American (Pete... even though he is white in the comics) who played two of the five leading roles when the series started... where as The Parkers, The Bill Cosby Show and Family Matters had a full African American cast...

3nodding Very Much so. Sometimes living in Michigan i feel as though some black people are more racist then white. I mean they wanted an "African Town" where ONLY black people could go. Now tell me thats not Racist. Smallville has never even made remotly any content as to be racist of any kind.
