The door opened, and in came a female panther katzen. She had brown orange hair/fur, and was about KC's height. She carried with her a broom, pan, mop, and bucket. If one word were to describe this katzen's features, it would be 'quick'. Her body was skinny and sinewy, yet she was probably very strong. She wore a simple mail version of a bikini, though less revealing. 'You must be the prisoner. I'm Mirri." she immediatly began to sweep the floor.

Mirri smiled. "Yeah, I've met a lot before the Invasion, because of this ship. But since the catastrophes I havn't seen many, since we visit different cities." She had finished sweeping and was now moping the floor.

Mirri finished moping the floor. "Ok see ya." she gathered her stuff and left the room. "Lock her back up John" she said as she waved through the crack in the door before it slammed shut.

John opened the door. In came Octavian & Mirri, except now she was in simplistic leather armor, wearing a dagger on the back waist, and short sword at the waist. "KC & Surika, come with me, the boss wants to see you." saud Octavian. He led them through the ship up to the control room door. Octavian said, "Wait, lemme see if he's ready." He went in, and stuck his head out. "He'll see you now." His head disappeared back in. "Go on in KC," said Mirri kindly, as she pushed KC in.

It was a medium sized oval room, with computers and controls along the walls. People walked around from various controls. Along the longer side of the oval were windows. The windows stretched up as part of the roof, with a large panel of glass above a control chair. The chair was at the center of the front portion of the room. The back of the chair faced KC, but from her angle you could see multiple computer screens around the chair. The chair swiveled around and there sat Octavian Nothing.

Octavian laughed. From behind him you could see the Chronos Flagship. The only person with a physical, visible weapon was Mirri. "This is no court of law. No prosecution here. I'm judge, jury & executioner. If you were charged with something you would have been dead way back when you were incapacitated. Take that serious look of your face, and don't bother gathering that magical power. You're in no danger here & now then you normally are. You are here, because I have proposition. I can tell you are strong. Don't ask me how, I don't know. Simply call it a knack. Anyway. We could use another member. One of our deck hands died in a battle, pirates versus traders. Any who, we could use the help."

His voice got a darker tone. "There is only one condition. My word is law. And I don't mean people law, I mean laws of the universe. I say something, and you better do it. You two are part of this ship. If you are weak, you're useless." Suddenly he seemed light hearted again. "So what do ya say?"

Like a nouth, twin doors slid slowly open for the ship. inside there was an array of single fightercraft, but there was more room for the ship.

"I expect nothing less than your word being upheld, Octavian. My city may be gone, but this ship is still part of Chronos, and will always be so. Meet me on the bridge of my ship. President Sek out!"

The S'rik would have smiled, had it a mouth. Nelash bowed and strode into the overgrown city.
