"Actually, it keeps us on our toes." Gwen smiled. "If we knew when the attacks would come, what's the point? Aren't the attacks so that we can earn our wings? Not that you demons were made for that purpose, but I'm just saying." She set the bags down for now.

Ard Rys Grianne Time was passing by slowly as Clarissa sat against the tree, but she didn't mind at all. She was used to just sitting outside for hours at a time and this Gabriel Academy place had very beautiful landscaping. The only thing she was uncomfortable about was all of the people, she still wasn't used to crowds. Her thoughts kept wandering and she was just thinking about the limo that had just pulled in when she heard someone sit down on the other side of the tree from her. Casually she peeked her head around the tree and saw Mai sitting down. Maybe I should say hello she thought as she continued to look, but she does look tired, maybe I shouldn't. She thought about it for another second and quickly came to an answer. "Hello there!" Clarissa greeted Mai with a big smile. Mai felt as if she froze in place, shivers went down her back when she suddenly heard someone say 'hi' from the back of her. She quickly relaxed as soon as she found a smiling girl at the other side of the tree she was sitting under. "Hey..." she finally said, her voice still a bit shaky from the shock. She gave a small smile and stood up, stretching a bit, her legs had gone numb and it felt like a thousand needles were prickling her. She used the tree for balance, just in case she fell because she couldn't move her legs.

Oops I didn't want to scare her she thought. Clarissa let out a small, clumsy laugh. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," she quickly apologized. "My name is Clarissa by the way. Are you nervous about coming here, you seem a little tense?"

"No..it's OK...my names Mai," she said with a smile, finally able to move her legs. She moved away from the tree a bit to go over to the other side, holding her hand out for Clarissa to shake. "I guess it's a bit obvious, huh?" she asked, a bit embarrassed that it was easy for people to tell that she was a tense.

Clarissa stood up and eagerly took Mai's hand and completed the handshake. Soon enough she felt awkward again and blushed. "I am sorry again, I really need to learn when to not be so rude," she apologized. "So, uh, what dorm are you staying in, Mai?" Clarissa was feeling excited now, Mai seemed nice and Clarissa would like to have her as a charge.

"No..it's OK...I never even knew you were being rude.." she giggled a bit, trying to cheer her up, she never was good at it, but it was worth a try. "Dorm...?uh....." she replied, looking down at the ground, thinking, and feeling a bit embarrassed since she didn't even know her own dorm number...come to think of it...she hasn't gone and registered yet. "Hey...um...Clarissa? Do you know where...um...where I could get a dorm key..?" she asked, feeling more embarrassed than ever, she even felt as if she was turning bright red.

"Good point, I just think sometimes it's unfair...Because of us demons some angles don't even get to get there wings...They paresh first...." He wanted to smile at the thought but he decided it would be best not to. He looked down at the girls bags. "Would you like some help?"

Sora Kitty “OOOOOOH, I’m gonna make a great big difference today; Goin’ to a brand new schooooool! Gonna make the best of it, friends, class, and place of wit, Gonna make a big difference todaaaaaaaaAAAAAYYYY!” “Sorry to bug you, but are we there yet?”
A young-looking girl sat in the back seat of a taxi cab, which was going a good speed down the road since she started singing. Hm, that’s weird; maybe the driver had been itching to sing along for the past 30 minutes and took this out on the road.
Though purple eyes she looked in the review mirror to see a glimpse of a face; the taxi driver looked like he was gonna kill someone, and gave a cold answer of “Almost, kid. Thank God, almost.”. Oh well, let him be Mr. Grumpy-Pants then. Nothing was going to ruin her mood today; not Michelle Grace!
She leaned back comfortably, holding on to her best friend; Mr. Stuffy. Ok, so a stuffed animal rabbit didn’t count as a person and it‘s childish, but he was still a comfort. After all, she was actually a bit scared; she’s heard many stories on how older people were big bullies and always angry at one thing or another, being sent off to war, drinking and partying and getting into trouble. Perhaps she could at least keep who’d she be in charge with safe.
After some time passed, she got out of the cab finally and looked toward the school; it looked so majestic, not to mention pretty! It wasn’t long before she stuck Mr. Stuffy in her book bag (it’d give a bad first impression to carry a bunny around, ya know!) and went round to get her suitcase. To her surprise, the man got it out for her in a hurry, as if happy to arrive at the destination.
“OK, before you go, the fee-” “Ah, let’s see. It’s a dollar per mile, plus $10 if going through a different state. So we went through two states to get to here, and a total of 300 miles. Add the 300 miles plus the 20 for state, add tax, and that comes to $334.59. Right?”
A couple moments later the small cash register (which had not been showing how many miles traveled til now) in the cab totaled $334.59. He gawked at her for a moment as she paid, and still hadn’t moved as she cheerfully thanked him and waved goodbye, carrying her suitcase, book bag, and a box.
As she arrived into the building and was navigating to the main office, she noticed a lot of people turning heads to look at her with interest or with a surprised smile. Well, Mother said she’d be the youngest one, but there was another factor: she was just to freakin’ adorable, as father put it. Of course, father was human and mom was an angel; a strange pair, but it still was lasting well.
After some more time passed, she got to her room after stopping at the main office for a spare map, schedule, other school things, and her key. Unlocking the door, she entered and squealed; what a nice room! Shutting the door behind her, she decided to go ahead and unpack really quick. She already organized her suitcase to make it no more than 20 minutes or so, and she went to work excited. Michelle grinned in satisfaction after she finished unpacking her stuff. She left more than enough room for her roommie, of course. Now that she thought about it, the other person could be either gender, right? Still, she'd feel more comfortable around the same gender, just because most guys she'd seen on her visits to Earth when she was younger werent' such nice people. She didn't want to be bullied, but perhaps she was being unfair.
She shrugged it off and decided to explore. She left the room and locked the door, heading down to the outside again. It was a very nice day, and she strolled about. Her eyes happen to rest on a few girls under the tree, one of them looking a bit nervous. Poor thing; she needed to lighten up! Smell the roses, feel the grass between her toes!
Oh well; why not head over there? She began heading that way, pretending to take in the scereny as she walked by as not to seem too rude to them (and to avoid more stares). It was only when she got close enough that she greeted them.
"Good morning, fellow students! Isn't today a wonderful day? The weather is nice, and it's just and adventure waiting ahead of us on the road! Metophorically speaking, of course." she grinned. "Name's Michelle; what are your names?"

Q_The_Drama "Alright." She said and shuffled out of the way of the door and over towards the empty dresser, where she decided she'd unpack later after she had visited the library, she always stopped at the library first no matter where she went.
"Catch ya later then." Kalli said with a wave towards the doorway. She had thought it slightly rude that she hadn't introduced herself but she didn't want to be anymore of a bother than she already had been, so she walked across the room to the window sill and took a seat as she poured over her map once more before she decided to set-off again throught the school's winding halls. After a long time out in the garden, Alex came back to the room, where he noticed that his room mate had already done the privelidges of unpacking her things. So, he took the closet, and placed his suitcase inside, with hiws scarf placed around one of the hangers.

Perily, as always, silently stepped onto the grounds of Gabriel Academy. She looked back at her parents with a 'Geez, not even walking me in' face. She turned and walked in, determined to get to her dorm without any interruptions.
Gwen nodded. "You get better powers than we do. Its supposed to seperate the able guardians from the unable... but sometimes..." She sighed. She blinked at him, not exactly sure why she was talking with a demon.

As Julian stood in front of the school, a guitar case in one hand and a large suitcase trailing behind him, he could not help but feel a mixture of excitement and fear. He had waited his whole life for this moment, the moment when he would be given his charge and his chance to earn his wings, just like his three brothers before him. It was also for that reason that he was nervous, not one of his brothers had failed their test and everyone expected him to do the same. Though it was true that none of them was much smarter or stronger then he, they at least had active powers, all he could do was inspire love with his golden voice, a gift he inherited from his mother, though she summoned animals with hers.
With a small gulp, Julian force himself to enter the school and soon made his way up to his room. There was not much inside, just two beds, two desks and the TV he begged his parents to rent from the school. As he checked through the drawers, he found them all to be empty, his charge had not yet arrived, which in some ways was a good thing. It would give him some time to relax. Without bothering to unpack, the boy sat upon his bed, removed his acoustic guitar and began to play, singing along with the melody.

Perily walked up to her room, ignoring the boy within. Her nose was already buried between the covers of Les Miserables, and her mind filled with the description of Jean Valjean.

Julian acted as though he did not notice as his charge walked in the room, his brothers had told him that it was always best to wait for them to make first contact. But as he neared the end of his third song and the other person still had their nose in a book. Julian decided it was up to him to start the bond, and so he put down his guitar and walked over to his charge, "So how far are...you?" Sudden the angel noticed something he had not suspected, his charge was a...girl. His brothers were right, he really did need to learn to pay attention.

Perily looked up at him blankly, and slightly angrily. 'You? Interrupting me?' her face said rather rudely. 'Go back to your song guitar boy'. She returned back to her book, annoyed.

"I guess you would go check in with the main office, but I actually haven't checked in either," Clarissa said in a slightly distant tone. "Hey we should go check in together!" Needless to say, Clarissa was a little anxious and really excited, and if it turned out that Mai wasn't her charge hopefully theirs dorms were close to each other. Getting caught in the moment she took Mai's hand and started towards the admin building, and was caught off guard when a young girl came up and introduced herself. "Why hello there, Michelle. My name is Clarissa," Clarissa said with another one of her smiles.
