If Jesus doesn't know, neither do we.
Sometimes I kind of wonder if God has a date in mind and then someone guesses it so he's like "Well, I guess we'll have to postpone..."
Haha, I sometimes wonder if God has a sense of humor~ I wonder if he does...
And no, I don't think that would happen, because it says that "God never changes" so yeah XD

Also:
I am not sure as to WHY I beleive this, but for some reason I am expecting the Rapture to happen in 2012, or perhaps sometime between now and 2012... I don't know why though! T^T

Ok look, I don't know anything about Aztec beliefs but as far as I'm concerned, Nostradamous is always changing his dates on the end of the world. I think that people should stop worrying about it, repent and recieve Jesus, and it'll happen when God planned it to and not a second off.

Found something interesting on the whole 2012 thing...
Maya stelae occasionally show dates beyond 2012. Most of these are in the form of "distance dates", where a Long Count date is given with a distance date to be added. For example, on the Tablet of Inscriptions from Palenque the following Long Count date was found: 9.8.9.13.0 8 Ahau 13 Pop (24 March 603 Gregorian) with a distance date of 10.11.10.5.8. The resulting date is given as 1.0.0.0.0.8 5 Lamat 1 Mol, or 21 October 4772 – almost 3,000 years into the future. The king Pacal of Palenque predicted that on this date the eightieth Calendar Round anniversary of his accession will be celebrated, suggesting he did not believe the world would end in 2012
Basically it will be the end of the 13th 394 year cycle. It just means another one pops up after it. Thats all the significance of this date.

Apocolypse will not happen in 2012 because most people who watched that program will think that's when it will happen. Matthew 24:44 clearly states "...the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect him."
Do you know what global warming is? We're currently coming out of an Ice Age, and in 2012 might be when we go back into one.

I do not follow this belief simply because: if I lived every day like it were my last, I wouldn't do anything responsible, to be blunt. I think a lot of people would do the same. If it were YOUR last day, would you go to work? Walk the dog? Do your bills?
I think not.
P.S.: All Apocalyptic predictions are wrong. End of. Let's say PersonA says "The world's gonna end next Thursday," and let's say it DOES end next Thursday. It was just a guess, not divine intervention. No one can know when the world will end.

We're currently coming out of an Ice Age, and in 2012 might be when we go back into one. It is super highly unlikely that we will switch to Ice Age conditions in 4 years. Sure there probably will be one soon enough, but I'd put it at about 100 years off before it hits again if we don't clean up. 2012 is a year i which maybe a few small things happen, but, nothing monumental.

Well, the switch wouldn't be spontanious, it would go through gradually. But what I think is we would start blending into the Ice Age gradually.
