How exactly does time pass here? I mean, I know each class has a set time frame in which it take place, but with things like eating and the common rooms and the grounds, etc. Not to mention that everyone has a different schedule. So, do we roleplay in order, or is it better to do it at the same time(such as roleplaying breakfast in the Great Hall, but also attending your first potions and charms class)?

I'm assuming that the classes will work as if that is the correct time. You can post in divination, transfiguration, and charms at the same time, with them being in 'different' times. It's a little complicated, but that way you can post with all of your characters without worrying about the time. Kani will decide when the next day will come.

Alright, thank you. I just wasn't sure if everything had to be chronological or not. ^^

Thank you Ruru <3!
Also, unless the date is a specific one (like Hogsmeade trip or the Start of Term feast), only the month will be put up so everyone can continue roleplaying without waiting. Just don't skip ahead too far in advance.

Question: My character (Angel Vandon, 5th yr Hufflepuff) applied to be on the Quidditch team. Though I've roleplayed quite a bit, at least I think I did, I still am not on the team. Is there a reason for this or do I need to rp a bit more?

Quidditch has been on hold since we had to get people signed up for classes. Also I haven't had as much gaia time this week due to college related stuff, so it wont be till either Sunday or Monday that I get to that.
Note: Positions aren't given to just active roleplayers. The quality of the posts are also put into consideration. As well as the character's interaction/communication with other RPCs.

Alright, this is an odd question, but if we want to roleplay on the grounds can we create our own thread? Same with the library or do we have to wait for the librarian?

Sorry for posting questions two times, but I just thought of this one. Do we have to wait for the professors of the classes that we are in to put our name in the class before we post there, or can we just go ahead?

Go ahead and post in the classes, you don't have to wait. Though, with the threads in the library, go ahead and make a new thread, but if there is one, we don't want to overcrowd the forum.

I have a question that has been on my mind since I was accepted. Since it's technically winter break for the guild, where do I rp or where can i read the previous classes I picked? I joined late so I don't exactly what to do right now. I have already made a character and I have already applied for classes. Now I don't know what to do. Sorry for trouble everyone.

These are the subforums of the guild- the bolded ones you are allowed posting/roleplaying in:
Character Profiles (COME HERE FIRST!) Great Hall & Kitchens Gryffindor Common Room & Dormitory. Slytherin Common Room & Dormitory. Ravenclaw Common Room & Dormitory. Hufflepuff Common Room & Dormitory. Professor Offices & Prefect Meetings Staff Room (Crew only.) Classes (2nd lessons ending 12/14/08 till 1/1/09.) Quidditch Pitch & Matches (Hoping To Open Soon) Dueling & Student Clubs (closed till 1/1/09) Library, Owlery, Corridors & Bathrooms Hospital Wing & Detentions Hogwarts Grounds & Lake Diagon Alley, Wizarding World & Muggle World Hogsmeade (NOW OPEN, to 3rd years and up) Memorable Threads OOC Chat Games Ever Changing Forum (Christmas Events, Dance & Party NOW OPEN!)
Over winter break, I am hoping for the Hogsmeade and Ever Changing Forum to be most active (I'll start roleplaying in them Sunday/monday with my characters), but you can always bring your RPC into any of the other, open subforums.
As for classes, you don't need to worry about catching up on any work, as you are a 'new student.' So once January comes 'round, you can just jump in and start on the lesson that the rest of the students are on. If you are still concerned, you can contact the professors of your character.
And you need not worry, it's no trouble at all.

Not to be a pest, but is there an ETA of whenever classes will resume?

ETA? Not sure what that means, but the classes that have a lesson available, you can go ahead and roleplay in. I'm jsut trying to work out a better system to get more students to go to class and figure out how to do all the grades.
But feel free to roleplay in the thread the professors have provided.
