now now hold on. the next duel king is here said judai using his famous victory hand pose as a boy challenge him to a duel. they both stand opposite of each other as the crowd spread, makign room for them to duel. judai quick shuffling and skills, he quickly summon e-hero burstlady on the field.
ryou saw the monster alive, amazed by the talent the boy had holding the cards right. it wasn't long before judai beat the boy. "that was interesting next time we duel lets have more fun" said judai smiling.
ryou smirked abit as he went in front of the boy. "hey kid you wont mind battling agaisnt eh? unless you are really the game king and not an old friend i know by the name of yuugi mutoh said ryou.
"so you know him, well he inspiried me with his motive words and sure, this should be excited" said the boy with egerness. ryou eyes soften as he nodded, "lets duel."

Honda Hiroto was bored, bored, mind-numbingly bored. He gave a strangled cry, flipping over on his back, legs over the couch back, head on the floor as he watched tv upside down. His long hair, which he hadn't bothered to gel since he'd been dumped by some pretty girl or another (for the upteenth time). Surprisingly (to him, but no one else) girls seemed to like him more that way.
But that didn't really help his situation, because if people suddenly like him just for having long hair down... he wasn't going to play the 'look good or else' game. He wasn't Otogi.
Although he had to admit some people could do it really well. Like a certain... never mind.
He was kind of guilty of the same thing, though, really. When he saw a gorgeous body, never mind their personality... Although the shy and sweet was very, very good.
Or at least it used to be. Sometime between junior year and his second year of being off on his own (he didn't go to college, no money, no time, not good at entrance exams) he'd gotten off that tangent and started getting into the more... sulty type.
He chuckled to himself, unusual gold-brown eyes sparkling with mirth as he sat up again. Maybe he'd just go flip through his magazines now...
Instead, something on the news caught his eye. He blinked at it, tilting his head and that. Seto Kaiba, in the usual suit. He'd been rather dissapointed when the CEO had stopped wearing his array of trench coats, leather pants, high boots and buckles, though he'd never admit it to his high-school friends, but oh well. Except he was having a press meeting outside, so he was wearing sunglasses.
A pair he recognized from one of said models. And it wasn't as though that type wasn't popular, it's just... The way he wore them. The same way. ...Weird.
Honda scurried over to a pile of magazines, tumbling half of it over as he pulled it out of the center. His sister liked bringing him some when she made him babysit Johji, God knew why. She probably hoped he'd actually ORDER something from one of the catalogs- fat chance. He kept them only for the gorgeous people that were pictured, in all truth.
He flipped through thoughtfully, stopping, then looking up at the screen. And back. And forth. 'Well, would you look at that...' He snickered.
Looked like CEO-monster was getting a call from good ol' Honda Hiroto today.

Seto had just gotten done with the godforsaken interview when his cellphone went off. It'd been a while since anyone called, so gladly Seto picked it up, noting the unidentified number. "How'd you get this number?" He immediately questioned, as he usually was dealing with over- excited fans and such.

((Well, I'm still watching and I'm sure others are, but we really can't continue much further, besides the Kaiba Honda part, until Yuugi answers the door... ^^;; ))

"Jounouchi Katsuya gave it to me. And since you obviously can't figure out all on your own, this is Honda Hiroto."

ICHI MAI cried ryou bringing the demonic card near his face, his eyes narrowed low with a small smirk. his jaw muscles moved tensing the boy, the taste of victory was near his grasp. "i drew a card that can defeat you boy, so tell me oh great king.... his body bended crossing his arms, still having the delighful smirk in his face. he looked more like his yami, letting go of the small detail. //his bat wing hair//
judai quickly snatched his card from the duel disk, doing one of his personality moves like his hero, he smiled. "heheh well i can say the same thing, Heika"
he answer sending one of his monsters to attack ryou. ryou simply chuckled revealed his face-trap card. "i just wasted a perfect trap but of course ill retun the favor with this".
judai closed his eyes, trying his best to handle the damaged that was upon him.

Seto blinked, he remembered Honda only as one of Yugi's friends. "And you called me..... Why? If it's for some get together, don't expect me to show up, much less listen to your bull, okay?" He stated, firmly. "Sides, I have appointments to keep and I've no time for dealing with your fun and games."

"No, no, never mind that. I haven't seen any of those guys since we graduated, except for the occasional run-in, and once in a while I can trick Jou into paying attention to me for a bit."

If anyone had seen Seto then, they'd probably think him terribly ill with the way that he'd paled suddenly. He tried to keep his cool as best he could but this was going to become difficult. "Blue?" He wondered, trying to play off that there was nothing wrong, but even he had to wince at how flimsy his response had sounded.
