Kaori considered Aya's offer of any specific requests for breakfast and laughed lightheartedly. Her cravings were way off the charts today, pickles, duck, peanut butter, fish and cheese... some of those no where near items usually served on a breakfast menu. "Uhm..." she wavered a moment wanting something cool to drink more than anything.
"Well.."
Raven looked up at Kaori and furrowed a brow, indecision on what to eat? He smirked knowingly at her and while gazing at her from the corner of his eye, lifted his brow.
Kaori noticed Raven's look and her cheeks held a tinge of pink to them. Her eyes flashed around to the others. "You know me.. I'm a snacker so just a little of everything of whatever you're making." she smiled sheepishly, "and.. maybe a chocolate milkshake please Aya...
Raven chuckled, "My my.. The Lady Shinigami... is in indecision? Or is it... ahh, it is isn't it?" he tilted his head, and squinted an eye as if reading her thoughts, with a playful smirk, "..since when are you shy?"
Kaori blinked in surprise and again her eyes flashed around at the others and chuckled sheepishly without answer.

Jack blushed a little as Raven pulled a chair out for him to sit in, but he sat quietly all the same. It was a glorious day outside already and the light pink on his cheeks was disguised by the filtering of the morning light through the open doors and windows. "Coffee sounds good." he nodded in agreement with Raven as he too sat nearby, flipping through the paper lazily.
Guyy was led down the hall by Kaori without resistance or complaint. He caught the movement of her hand on her belly through the corner of his eye and chuckled softly. Not even Raven's usual attitude could keep him in a bad mood lately. Not with what he knew playing in his mind. Kaori was not the only one keeping close tabs on everything occurring within her. He noted every movement, every flex and was on edge to catch even the slightest change.
No way she would be crawling off somewhere privately, not with him keeping such close attention on her. He would quietly herd her back to a comfortable, private place and he wouldn't leave her side. Despite her unusual tendencies and her healing skill there was much that could happen to surprise them both, especially when she was at less than full strength. He hoped everything was as easy and smooth as she predicted.
They stepped into the kitchen to find several people there already. he caught a glimpse of the kids and cubs as they rushed out the door towards the beach, clearly eager to play. Raven moved seats as they came in, leaving the easy one for Kaori to get into. He raised an eyebrow at that but said nothing and took a seat on the side away from him civilly as he read out the news to her.
He looked up as Kaori and Guyy came in, with Amelie close behind. he gave them a friendly grin, cocking his head to one side cheerfully as Raven read out the less than interesting news. He caught the paper as it was pushed out for others to take and flicked through to the crossword. Taking up a nearby pen he began to idly fill in the answers while leaning on the table and listening to the conversation.
The sound of food preparation echoed around the room. In its own way it was quite idyllic. The warm sun, the domestic setting, the family like atmosphere (complete with a gentle sort of familiar rivalry between Guyy and Raven that he didn't mind as he knew it wasn't going to come to blows, not today) all combined and caused him to sigh and smile. Few things could make him happier right now.
Even Raven lazily teasing Kaori made him chuckle. He caught Guyy's brief glare that was shot at Raven when he smirked knowingly at her, but it quickly passed as if he was resigned to some things. Jack hadn't missed the small signs himself, but he knew better than to mention the possibility of her imminent motherhood without being formally told. It was just impolite.
She had been positively glowing lately though, but as far as he could tell she wasn't far along. Aside from some odd flashes that seemed to be coming more from his own mind than from real life, anyway. He hadn't worked those out yet, whether he was simply imagining things or whether his unusual nature was picking something up. He turned his eye on Raven, giving him a quiet, soft look for a moment before he turned away with pink cheeks. He pushed the paper back across the table, crossword already completed.

((And if some of you are curious, the omelette recipe the one that I use at home. xd ))
Aya had laughed lightly once she heard Kaori's shy answer. She gave the tigress a small nod and left the stove to its devices. The skillet was still heating after all and for her to make an omelette that much quicker, the skillet needed to be of medium-low heat the moment the eggs joined the light coat of cooking spray.
"Master Guyy, Amelie, is there any particular dish you two would like for breakfast?" she asked as she approached the coffee maker and filled two cups of coffee. She wrinkled her brow at the hot smoke. It was habitual reaction to hot objects. No harm done. She placed each cup on a saucer and brought it down gently beside Raven and Jack. She went back to the sink and took the sugar and cream from the cabinets before she retrieved two teaspoons. The sugar and cream were placed at the part of the table that was near to both Jack and Raven.
Next up would be Kaori's chocolate milkshake. That was easily accomplished as well. As soon as all the ingredients were in place, she warned the group to cover their ears before she turned the blender on. Once the ingredients were mixed well and the shake had achieved the desired thickness, Aya had turned the blender off and thus, giving relief to some of them whom had sensitive ears. She filled three tall glasses of the drink before she distributed them to Guyy, Kaori, and Amelie. She wasn't certain if Amelie would like it since she didn't know her preference but if she didn't, then coffee would be served for her.
And back to cooking she went!
She whisked the eggs that were in a bowl of milk, and some seasonings (a little salt, some ground peppers, etc.) until she was satisfied. Carefully, she poured the egg mixture into the skillet, swishing it around some so that a layer of egg stuck to the side of the pan. It was an important step towards producing a fine omelette. Then she promptly left it alone to make certain her fillings were all complete.
A slice of Swiss, shredded cheddar, smoked salmon (from last night's midnight snack) and some chives were laying dormant on the plate by the sink. Satisfied that she wouldn't be neglecting anything, she went back to her skillet. In it was a seventy percent cooked egg. Good. She swished it again so that whatever liquid was left of the mixture made their way to the crispy edges in order to make them thicker. Another important step that every cook needed to know.
Once the crispy edges began to pull away from the pan, Aya began filling it with...her fillings. Just on one side and in a way that it formed a half moon. Once the edges had really pulled away from the pan, she took a fork and ran the tines around the outside edge of the omelet in order to make certain that the egg layer had not stuck. Then, she used can use her thumb and her forefinger (her hands were clean thank you very much!) to gently grab the empty side of the omelet and carefully folded it over the fillings.
She grabbed a plate from the cabinet and ran a spatula under the omelette to make the sliding process easier. Once she was certain that it hadn't stuck, she angled the skillet over the plate and let the omelette slide. Technically, she was already done but since she wasn't serving herself, she added some potatoes just for effect. And there we go! Jack's breakfast was ready to be served! Quickly, she placed the meal in front of Jack and went back to cooking. There were still others that needed to be fed and her mind was running with all sorts of recipes that was perfect for breakfast.

Kaori's cheeks tinged ever so slightly knowing if she tried to deny it that impending blush would only creep more onto her cheeks, she was happier when Raven's coffee was placed beside him and he lifted the mug and sipped at the hot liquid. Having caught Guyy's mini glare at Raven she placed her hand upon his knee under the table, silently suggesting that Raven’s teasing was quite alright.
The tigress rounded on the blond, “So what if I am?” she lifted a brow in his direction and was quite able to place that uncaring mask on her features she had done so many times in her life. Disturbed only when she lifted her milkshake letting her lips round on the straw to drink.
”Hn?” It was Raven’s turn to slide a questioning look at her, catching her eyes a moment and missing Guyy’s glare entirely. She was acting a bit strange. The moment he thought that she shifted her gaze from him thanking Aya for her milkshake with a cheerful grin. He stared down into his mug a moment with a shrug and took a deep swallow. Outwardly it was as though he didn’t much care however otherwise he knew something was up. She normally only really snapped at him when he did something really stupid. Like nearly drowning himself. Not over silly teasing like this, she usually rounded on him just as playfully. Not today. Whatever. It didn’t matter.
What mattered, was that Jack’s omelette smelled delicious and his stomach was beginning to get jealous. “Hey that looks great Aya, May I have one of those too?”
Kaori eyed Jack’s omelette, it did look good, smelled even better, even if she wasn’t quite in the mood for eggs. “I’ve changed my mind Aya, I’ll have a steak, just warmed up. Nothing fancy. Raw as possible.” Looking around at the others gathered at the table, her mind flickered back to her son and his soon to happen arrival in the world. It was only fair to tell them that it would be happening soon wasn’t it? They all knew she was with child, but they had no idea how close the birth really was, she’d been hiding it as best she could, it was draining on her healing gift, using it to ebb her aches and pains, to speed his growth, to keep her feet from getting all swollen from the extra weight he put on her. The bloody meal she asked for would give her a much needed boost she suspected. But with that said Raven would be asking questions of her and there he looked at her again with suspicion.
She nodded solemnly and took a deep breath. “I do have an announcement of sorts to make.” She said softly looking around at them all waiting to make sure none of them would choke if they had started eating or drinking.. waiting until the coast was clear. Tentatively she began again then, “In all honesty, we’ve come to the beach not just for vacation....” she paused again, “I’m not clear as to the exact timing, however...” she looked to Guyy and smiled softly as her sapphires met his. “Our son is expected to be birthed while we are here at the beach.” She looked around to the others again smiling softly, “I’ve been hiding my progress using illusions. This was all planned to happen this way so please, don’t be alarmed.”
Her sapphires flickered to Raven, his were steady on her already, nearly shocked with the news. “I’m... sorry to surprise all of you with this..” she twisted the straw in her milkshake absently.

As Guyy made himself comfortable he found a milkshake planted in front of him. He smiled and nodded thanks, sipping on it happily. It wasn't coffee, but it was warm enough here already that the cool, calcium rich treat was very welcome. And delicious too. Along with the sweet drink, the smell of the cooking filled the air and made his stomach rumble. He looked over at the omelette as Aya gently set it down for Jack. That did look good. "Why don't you surprise me?" he replied to her question about what he wanted. He really was agreeable to most foods, so no matter what she made, it would be a delight.
Jack's mouth watered when the omelette was set down in front of him. It looked so good! He couldn't wait, he tucked into it right away, making very appreciative 'MMm!'s as he ate. It was better than it looked! Aya was some kind of genius.
He had felt Kaori's hand lightly touch his knee when he had shot a look at Raven, and his fingers slipped over hers, lacing through them comfortingly and enjoying her closeness. He turned to her as she finally spoke up, giving her hand an affectionate and encouraging squeeze as she made her announcement. He had been wondering if she would just surprise them all when it happened. Guess she thought better of it now. He smiled softly. She'd have to be prepared for being utterly pampered by everyone now.
She was a little nervous about it all, though whether it was the act of finally telling everyone or whether it was the upcoming birth, he wasn't sure. Most likely a mixture of both. No matter, she had his support. Even if she did try to sneak away he'd be hot on her heels. He let her speak for herself now, not interrupting her words. There was very little he could have added anyway, though he almost laughed at Raven's entirely shocked expression.
Jack looked up from his omelette, blinking large emeralds at Kaori on hearing her revelation. He grinned broadly. As usual, he didn't appear to be overly surprised or shocked, just delighted. He'd never really had much to do with very young children, and they actually scared him a little. But he was excited at the same time. "Yay Kaori! Is there anything we can do to help?" he giggled, looking up and catching Raven's entirely startled expression. Odd man, he should be excited!

Raymond was sent hurling through the air as Nette tripped. Both fell with a thud face first into the sand. One would assume that such a small girl would have been over come with tears, but instead it had been uncontrollable giggles. She looked up to spot where Raymond had landed, but her wet and sand matted curls was all she could see. "Where did you go?" she asked from under the mess.
Her small hand pushed her black curls out of her face and glanced behind her.
"Ah ha!" She exclaimed finding the foe that had caused her's and Raymond's fall. "So that what did it." Pushing her self out of the sand and onto her feet, she hovered over the rock that was awkwardly peeking out of the dirt. Nette thought it was an odd place for a stone. She glanced up and down the beach, it was in fact the only oddly placed stone this close to the water for what Nette assumed, for miles. "You don't belong here silly rock." she placed her hands on her hips and gave it a look. "Now you let that crab get away."
Nette and Raymond had been chasing a crab for nearly five minuets. every time Nette got the darn thing in her hand, it would wriggle it's little legs and it's claws and Nette would squeal, giggle and drop it again in the sand. She was brave enough to catch it but every time she did she was creeped out by the wriggling. What a sight.

Surprisingly, it was Parvati that reached the beach first albeit she was panting. She blinked her mismatched eyes and laughed. She was a lot faster than she had first thought! Ilia and the others were going to catch up soon though. She took a deep breath and squealed in delight when she spotted big sister Nette playing. Raymond was not surprisingly present as well. She forgot about how tired she was and ran towards the younger girl.
"Oh Neettte! Let's go play in the water!" Parvati invited, the volume of her voice lessening as she neared the little girl.
((Sorry. I don't know any recipe for steak. This Tuna Belly recipe is the one that my uncle uses. There's supposed to be some sort of cream on top made out of red egg but I've forgotten how it was made. Still tastes pretty good without it though 3nodding .))
Aya nodded at Guyy. Surprise him she would then.
“I’ve changed my mind Aya, I’ll have a steak, just warmed up. Nothing fancy. Raw as possible.”
Once again, Aya nodded. Steak it was then. Luckily, there was one in the freezer that was not frozen. Simply chilled.
“Hey that looks great Aya, May I have one of those too?”
"Are you certain you don't want the Tuna Belly instead?" Aya asked, teasing him, and indeed she had already pulled out the pink twin tuna bellies from the fridge. She placed the fish parts on a plate on the counter, grabbed a large frying pan, and set the flame to medium. Going back to the fridge, she took out some butter, cut a lump of it and placed it in the now heating pan. Next up was some cooking oil. This she quickly grabbed off the counter and poured about half a cup into the pan. Once the butter had melted, she placed both bellies in and left them alone.
She chopped an onion into rings with speed as she listened to Kaori's announcement. Truthfully, she wasn't at all that surprised. While Kaori may have been able to hide her pregnancy to other people, Aya had seen the signs and had been recording it in her mind. So despite Kaori's illusion hiding her body's real condition, Aya already knew just how far along her friend really was.
She chuckled and turned the two meat silently cooking in the pan. Two minutes had passed since she had left them alone and in order for this to properly cook, she needed to be fast. With a hum she tossed the onion rings into the pan, scattering them on the fish and sprinkled a bit of black pepper on the bellies. Then she turned to Kaori with a small smile.
"I was wondering when you would announce it," she said before she came over and placed a hand on the tigress' shoulder in a show of support, "congratulations my friend. If there's a particular craving you have, then do not hesitate to tell me. I will fix it for you."
And then the priestess was back to her cooking, getting the steak out of the freezer and placing it on another pan and began cooking. She was quite fast with her hands, one minute chopping something and the next she was turning the meat over.
This was because she had a deadline. Two minutes had passed once again. It was time to put the tuna bellies on a serving plate. She carefully lifted the frying pan and lifted the bellies, gently putting them on the white plate, being careful of the hot oil. She abandoned the pan on the stove and placed the now cooked bellies in the middle of the table.
Then she turned back to the steak and inhaled the aroma, judging from the smell as to whether it was good enough to be served or not. With a nod of acceptance, she slid the steak onto another plate and placed it gently in front of Kaori. Raw as possible the request had been and that was how it was served. Of course, there were chopped vegetables on the side as garnishes and most probably Aya's way of subtly making certain that Kaori got a healthy meal.
She gathered some more plates and utensils. One by one she placed these dining materials in front of the people gathered by the table. They were free to serve themselves now. As an afterthought, the priestess cut some fruits and placed them in the middle of the table right beside the tuna bellies. She turned to Raven and raised a brow, an amused smile on her lips.
"Well Raven? Do you still want an omelet?"

Raven grinned at Aya's teasing. "Is it better than your omelet and worth waiting for?" he teased in reply taking another sip of his coffee before being surprised with Kaori's news, she had kept it well hidden from him.. and from what he could see, she didn't look a day pregnant, let alone ready to give birth. How.. why.. from him of all people! He wasn't sure if he should be ecstatic for her or sulk because she hadn't told him sooner.
"Thank-you Aya.. " she nodded gratefully and already the priestess was on her way back to the stove, her shoulder pleasantly cool from the other woman's touched warmed nearly instantly with the heat of the day a near impossibility to keep out of the air conditioned space. Or maybe that was just her own discomfort, she couldn't quite tell.
Picking up knife and fork, Kaori tucked into her steak noting the veggies on the side of her plate and smirked. She much rather preferred meat over fruits and veggies.. she was half tiger demon after all. The knife was honed perfectly and sliced through the meat effortlessly, small chunk by bloody chunk the chewed and slowly made the thing disappear, tending to leave the veggies a bit, but ate one or two just to appease Aya slightly. She rumbled with a delighted purr with her meal, it was warmed perfectly, nearly as good as a fresh kill.
"This is fantastic Aya.." she complemented, before continuing, "I had been thinking on not announcing it at all and crawling away on my own somewhere private to give birth and then show up later with baby. As is customary of... er well.." she looked to the food on her plate and swallowed, putting down the fork and knife, her appetite killed. "was customary.. of my kind..." the steak was half finished, all of a sudden she felt very insecure, she missed people of her kind who knew what to expect, her old family and more so now than ever. She felt very open and just as raw as her steak was to everyone at the table.
Human births were done with doctors around usually or midwives, there were always people around and she had this gut urge to just hide away somewhere deep in a forested area, in a den someplace safe that she could easily protect and devoid of people or predators.
Raven eyed Kaori carefully, it wasn't difficult to see how uneasy she was with the whole thing and he wondered if there was anything he could do to help her... but that was Guyy's job now.. his gaze shifted to him and then back to her. He wasn't quite sure how to react to the situation and remained fairly silent through it all, evening missing the part where Aya had teased him a second time entirely.

Ilia laughed as she caught up to Parvarti easily, catching sight of Nette and Raymond nearby. She stood up and waved as the little raven haired girl dusted sand off of herself after her fall. She didn't seem hurt at least, which Ilia was very glad of. It was her task to look after the girl and ensure she came to no harm after all.
The cubs ran ahead to bound around the little girl, with the exception of Cloudchaser who stood back and watched with a hint of amusement on his scarred features. "In the water?" Ilia turned to look at Parvarti with a mixture of excitement and worry. "I hope I can swim okay." she stared at the ocean with trepidation.
Wavedancer's ears pricked right up. She loved the water! She didn't even wait for the others before she raced off and plunged into the water with obvious glee. She laughed and frolicked through the water as effortlessly as a dolphin would, her water repelling fur keeping her warm and her webbed feet propelling her through the waves. Huge breaths filled her highly efficient lungs and she dove for minutes at a time before surfacing again. "Come play! Come play!" she urged with a squeal of laughter.
Jack polished off his omelette and watched as a particularly delicious looking tune belly was prepared. It smelled heavenly and despite being full his mouth watered. The scent alone was enough to sate him for a week, he thought. Aya was a genius in the kitchen.
He smiled at Kaori for a moment, watching her devour her raw steak with relish. She toyed with the vegetables when she was done. and he giggled under his breath. Despite Aya's best efforts she was only interested in the meat. He leaned on his elbows and listened, curious about her kind. He'd been fascinated by her particular kind since they had discussed the matter of Reapers. It was all very exciting, he couldn't wait to be an uncle. Well, again. He'd missed Ilia growing up, if she had. He looked up at Raven, beaming widely and his smile dropped a little bit. "You look troubled." he mentioned.
Guyy smiled as she tucked into her steak with delight, amused at the changes in her. He had perhaps been the only person in the entire clan to witness her full pregnancy and all the little quirks it had caused in her. He gave her a fond smile, his hand brushing against her waist affectionately. reached out he took one of her vegetables while Aya wasn't looking, crunching on it mischievously.
He looked down at the tuna set in front of him. The smell was wonderful and his stomach growled in anticipation. "Thanks Aya!" he gushed, grabbing his own cutlery and beginning to destroy the fish with enthusiasm. It tasted even better than it smelled, which was amazing. The tuna belly shrank in size quickly. "It's so good!" he grinned around a mouthful of fish. It was a little impolite, but it was just too good to stop eating just to speak.
He turned his ruby eyes on Kaori as she spoke. His own eyes glittered with love for her. She would not have been entirely alone, he would have seen to that. Even if it meant dogging her every step he would have been there. After all, neither of them had any idea of the possible complications, and he really did not want to miss the birth of his firstborn son.

Before Guyy finished off all the tuna belly, Raven helped himself to a portion of it and some fruit. He was just as eager to fill his stomach as Guyy was except he enjoyed his food on the way down, much more casually. "Me troubled? Naw, I'm good." was all he said between mouthfuls of breakfast and another gulp of coffee, all he left behind on his plate were a couple crumbs.
Her 'kind' and her life's work were two completely separate things.. "Pardon me a moment.. I'll e right back, stay eat.. " she had turned to Guyy and smiled reassuringly at him putting her hands out and motioning for him to stay seated. "I'm not going anywhere.. just the washroom." The pressure on her bladder was annoying, it was almost as if she were nearly in the washroom for half the day sometimes these past few days. But he was nearly turned in her, it would be soon.
She stood from her seat and wandered off with a casual flick of her tail, luckily it wasn't far to go, just around the corner really. She let herself in, did what she needed to do and freshened up. She returned as swiftly as she had promised, reaching for her milkshake still at her place.

She fully stood and smiled as her two friends neared, who were followed closely behind by the cubs. With all the excitement the child couldn't help but squeal and giggle. Seeing Wavedancer plunge into the water only heightened the want to play. She was about to run in after her when she remembered.
Raymond..
She glanced over to Raymond face first in the dirt. Nette shook her head, She didn't understand why her dear plushed friend didn't like to play in water. It was so much fun. He enjoyed the sand, and chasing crabs, but when they came to close to the water the poor rabbit would complain. Begging would be a lost cause. Raymond just didn't like water. Nette wouldn't be a good friend if she made him do something he wouldn't like.
She grabbed Raymond, sand falling free from him as she ran towards a group of towels that were laid out on the ground. Quickly but carefully she plopped him in the near the edge of the Green towel. "I'll be back soon!" She yelled back over her shoulder. She had already took off in a run towards the group. His dull plastic eyes just stared.
It only took a moment for her to return. Her running came to an abrupt halt, not because she had caught up, but because there was something peculiar. The creature she now saw was too big to be a cub... but to small to be a giant. She looked between her and the water noting all the cubs, just be be sure.
' Wavedancer.....Boldhunter.... Little Climber..." they were already all there. None of them could have grow that fast. She stared at him baffled. Who was it?

Jack frowned and wriggled on his seat a little. He could tell something was bothering Raven, but he didn't want to talk about it. And the little redhead knew he wouldn't speak while there were others there. Especially not Guyy. He watched him as he managed to get a slab of tuna belly. His own fingers slinked over to the blond's plate while Raven was getting some fruit, tearing off a little chunk of the fish sneakily and popping it in his mouth. It really was good, and brought back memories of sitting around a fire with Raven and Kaori.
Raven might have taken time to savour his meal compared to Guyy, but he must have been really hungry. The meal was all but gone in a matter of minutes. Jack still had a finger in his mouth, sucking off the succulent juices of the fish and spices. He looked up at Raven, still eyeing him with a mixture of concern and annoyance at his behaviour that morning. But there was a soft affection in his bright green eyes than more than swamped the other emotions.
"You wanna do something after breakfast maybe? We could go down to the beach for a swim, or talk a walk through the forest. We could..." a grin crossed his features and he leaned closer to the tall blond, lowering his voice just a little bit. He was still getting used to some aspects of his personality. "We could go for a fly, if you like?" he offered, knowing that sometimes being non human was a good way for Raven to relax.
Guyy leaned back in his chair and smiled. That had been thoroughly delicious and welcome. He grinned broadly at Aya. It seemed he had barely even noticed when Raven had taken some of the tuna too. Either that or he really was becoming complacent and tolerant of the man. He wouldn't admit that, of course, no matter how true it was.
He sat obediently when Kaori motioned for him to. Had she been sneaking away for any reason other than the one she gave he would have known. He chuckled and smiled, nodding softly. He had noticed the physical quirks she had gained over the months, and no doubt they were irritating her terribly in some ways. The past few days really had been troublesome for her. He kept his eyes fixed on the door as he mused it over in his head. She'd even made an attempt at tidying his office. Nesting, probably, and the rest of the apartment she kept too clean for her to do any further tidying.
When she returned he smiled and leaned his head against her fondly. Chances were he was getting just as annoying as the physical side of things. But she patiently tolerated his fussing. He chuckled softly to himself. Had any of their enemies seen them lately they wouldn't have ever suspected he had a murderous side to him.
Cloudchaser looked down at Nette and smiled softly, the scars on his face tugging and pulling at the skin. But even those ragged marks that marred his eye, chest, legs and back couldn't make him look threatening. He was incredibly pale of a Chimera, with fur that was a light ecru. His amber eyes seemed to have flecks of gold in them when the light hit them right. His large ears hung down lazily instead of sticking up and were heavily laden with a variety of earrings and trinkets. "Hello there." he greeted softly. There was a limp in his step. "I don't believe I have had the pleasure of speaking to you before."
Boldhunter ran right up to Nette and stood up on her hind legs like many of the adults frequently did. She was growing up too, though she didn't realise it. She laughed cheerfully and waved at the girl, a gesture she'd picked up from the Shinigami. "Nette! You gonna come swimming with us too?" she grinned, looking forward to the day ahead.
Farclimber, still toddling around on all fours, bounced around the pair with obvious impatience and excitement. His eyes darted from his older cousin to Wavedancer splashing around in the water. He wanted to go. And he was getting quite troublesome these days, in the way young children often are. He squeaked and bolted towards the water. "Oh, no! Wait for us Farclimber, you might get hurt!" Boldhunter grimaced, holding out a paw. But he didn't listen.
Suddenly he leapt right up into the air with great force. There was a pop and he was gone. Less than a second passed before a second pop echoed further away. The little male was scrabbling about, suspended in mid-air for a moment, a good 25 feet above the water. Then he plummeted. With a loud splash he hit the water near Wavedancer. The cubs stared at him in shock as he surfaced, squealing with laughter.
"Me next!! Do me too!" Boldhunter shouted at him in excitement. That looked like lots of fun! Cloudchaser sighed and shook his head. Kids.
Ilia stared. That looked dangerous. She looked at Nette and Parvarti, raising an eyebrow. She hoped they didn't plan on joining in with such silliness. Her bright blue eyes lingered on Parvarti. She suspected there would be no stopping her from joining in if she wanted to. And it did look kind of fun, judging by the way Farclimber was laughing...

"..Talk a walk" instead of 'take a walk'? -- Raven knew instantly that Jack definitely had something on his mind and wanted to get him alone for a while, but he was lured most by Jack's last statement of going flying. "You know me too well. Yeah, sure. Let's go." he agreed, it was already after breakfast anyway, he drained his coffee looking up and setting his mug down as Kaori returned. "Well have fun guys, I know I will be." he smirked and stood from the table.
"Oh... see you later Raven!" Kaori smiled cheerfully as she sipped at her milkshake and ran her fingers through her lord's hair as he rested against her. Slurping at the little bit left in the bottom of the tall glass, she gasped softly as the baby kicked within her and her hand went to where the impact had been.
She was happy that things were going well these days between Raven and Jack and was even more slyly happy that she'd been the one to help things along. "Have a great day guys." she bid them waving as they headed out. "I think maybe lolling out in the sun might be a wise decision..." she commented as she picked up Raven's plate and mug and took them to the sink and proceeded in washing them and setting them in the rack to dry. Aya had done so much by cooking breakfast! The least she could do was this little bit... but that little bit didn't seem to be enough and she felt the urge to fuss further taking on a feeling of needing to do instead.
Restless.. she was so restless! "Maybe a walk would be better..." she had to do something! Anything!

Jack grinned happily up at Raven as he downed the last of his coffee and set his cup down. There was a light pink tint to his cheeks when Raven remarked on having fun. He certainly hoped that would be the case for them. He would do his best to get Raven to relax a little and maybe even let slip on what was bothering him.
He stood up from the table and pushed his chair back underneath the table neatly, giving the others sat around the table a bashful little wave as he touched his fingers to Raven's elbow in order to guide him out into the warm morning sun.
Guyy glanced up and gave a cheerful wave to Jack as he stood up and even a civil nod to Raven. He really was in a good mood, that was obvious. He closed his eyes a moment as he felt his lady's fingers brush through his hair gently. His lips pulled into a smile as he felt the movement within her also, but in a different way. He had the blessing of being able to sense the child as easily as he was able to sense her. He allowed his fingers to brush along the back of her hand anyway, just because he never got tired of touching her.
He moved enough to let her stand up and fuss around clearing away plates. He chuckled to herself as he bustled around looking for something to occupy her instincts. He pushed himself up from the table and managed to catch her still enough for him to slip an arm around her waist and turn her in the direction of the door gently. "Yes, let's get both of us a little sun, shall we? We can walk along the beach if you like. Or we could take a hike through the forest, though that would not be as sunny and warm. And if you still aren't satisfied we'll build sandcastles." He smirked, half teasing her and half racking his brain for something that would ease her a little.
"I'm sure we'll see you soon, Lady Aya." He smiled, giving her a happy wave. "Thank you for the wonderful meal. You're a star." he gave her a cheeky wink and grinned widely, having truly enjoyed the breakfast.

Raven allowed himself to be guided out, all too conscious of Jack's gentle touch to his elbow. But upon meeting the bright sunlight of the day and while squinting his eyes closed until they adjusted, he stretched out his back lifting his hands high over his head and leaning one way then the other, ended up popping a few disks in his back satisfyingly.
Looking to the water, the children were having a ball playing around, there wasn't any danger here at all and they could run the expanse of the beach in any direction and tire themselves out before they'd ever run into something that may possibly hurt them. This was a great place to relax and have some fun in. These past months had been hard on the clan and they deserved a good rest.
Well, with the weather being so nice and the atmosphere a lazy sort of one, Raven nearly forgot what he came out here to do. But that blue sky called to him and the freedom it promised drew him towards it. In an instant black feathers scattered everywhere and the man turned raven was sailing steadily higher into the sky.
"That walk sounds great, maybe a bit in the sun and a bit in the shade, but... A castle made of sand will never weather time love. It needs to be made of heavy stone and... I don't think I'm up to such hard work as that..." she furrowed her brow as though already thinking up of some other way she could complete such a task. How was something like that going to be restful?
Honestly, she had never made a sandcastle before. And it was obvious. But they were in the process of leaving and as she looked up Guyy was complementing Aya on her cooking. "Yes thank-you kindly for the meal Aya, it was very satisfying." she nodded and smiled in appreciation of all the hard work her friend had put into breakfast for everyone.
Before long she found herself stepping out into the bright rays of daylight, a black feather drifted along the ground as tuffs of wind played with it. She smiled knowing that Raven was probably miles above them by now and the area would be highly secure with him on watch. But then again, Jack was with him... but there wouldn't be anything to worry about right? Everything was just so... disarming about this place.
Her gaze shifted about and fell on the children. Soon her own boy would be among that lot and playing with them as well, her hand went to her midriff, a subconscious movement, one that she had repeated on several occasions. And if it weren't for Guyy being right next to her, she'd probably never move from that spot.
