Anime/Manga inspired me to draw. I love it more than anything. I do try other things from time to time too. But anime I always fall back on.

I think I'll always love the manga style. It was the style I first drew in. It's lovely! And even though I venture into semi-realism now, I always go back to anime/manga. :3 It's just fun to draw!

Dark Mage Sabrina I like it but lack the ability to draw it for myself. I can only draw highly realistic animals. Yes I'm lame. that's not lame biggrin i wish i could draw animals! xd

i rather like the style -- though there is a HUGE range of qualities and mini-styles, as a whole i like it. it's about all i draw, anyway =p although i have been dabbling in semi-realism lately~

My opinion depends on what you consider anime/manga style, since so many individual styles are encompassed under it. For example, if what you considered to be anime was the large-eyed schoolgirls that seem to be popular now, or the old Sailor Moon style, I would say no, I hated it. But, if you consider Death Note, or other similar styles, anime, I would say I loved it. So it's really hard to just say yes or no taking into account these factors.
And, no, not anyone can draw manga style. Putting people who can't draw aside, most artists have fall spots. While I'm good with people, anime and realistic, and okay with simplistic animals, I can't draw backgrounds, mechas, furries, or straight lines to save my life.

Though my opinion's gonna be a biased, manga, being mainly what my style is, is something I love. People may say 'anyone can draw anime/manga', and that may be true, but not everyone can make it look good. Which is why there's a stamp on dA saying '98% of anime sucks'. I'm fairly sure my art falls under that category, haha. But branching off is the best idea. Anime is okay to base a style off of, I say smile . I actually started out drawing cats, then moved to people last year-ish. This has tired quite long. I'll wrap up now xD.

I am incredibly picky when it comes to that style. I generally dislike it, but there are some exceptions.
I wasted like 5 years of my life drawing it badly, and it depresses me when new artists go straight for it without having a stab at human anatomy first-- knowing how things actually work before stylizing would help their art immensely.
