My queens? Laini blushed. She was no queen. Not as long she knew about it. She glanced to Rahima, seeking for some kind of advise. What she should do? When Rahima told her name, she dedided to do the same. "And my name is Laini." When she noticed more lions around, she got a bit worried. Was this area populated allready? Were they intruders now? Should they leave? She didn't want to. She didn't want to give up a good birthing place like this easily. She didn't want to find another place. Not now, when she felt that time would be soon. Or wait a minute. Time wasn't soon, it was now! "Rahima!" Laini whispered suddenly, scared and painful tone in her voice, closing her eyes tightly. The first contraction! She packed towards the nest, trying to bear the pain, feeling her feet shaking. Or was it ground itself. "Rahima!" she managed to say. "I'm scared! Something is wrong... Something is not right. The ground...!" Then another contraction came and made her to mew of pain.
((Edited. Everybody are impatient to wait, myself included.))

((We can't RP too much without all the others >.>; But making a start can't hurt.))
Rahima felt another twinge, stronger than earlier, but not a full contraction yet. Wincing, she watched her friend cover the few feet back to the nest. Offering her a reassuring smile, she took another step towards Bhaskar and scanned around for a stampeed. Though it would have to be a very large herd...
"Can you feel that? Could it be elephants, or...?" Another twinge. Closer and a little harder.

((I HAVE to study.. gonk
ohhh.. one more ))
Bhaskar moved himself down, onto the ground. "Hmm.." he stepped carefully past the two lionesses, proud of the little mane he had growing.. he was their protector, if unofficial. These two had picked this spot, and it was theirs. He hadn't smelled any traces of someone else living here, so they claimed it. Then again, he wasn't exactly related to either of them, and he wasn't so sure they were related either. Well, either way, he wasn't letting anyone harm the fuzzy bundles in their tummies, that was certain. He placed himself between two 'entry rocks' to await the arrival of the other lions. The entry rocks at least seemed to be so, as they were almost identically shaped.
He turned back, just as something under him shook a little. "Uh.. you alright?" He asked. Geez, what was that? Elephants weren't around, he was sure of that..

Pace increasing as a jolt of hope ran through him, Masego's placid features soon wore that untainted wish only to have his quest at an end. "Kitwana?" he called out, heedless of safety or the rules of the hunt with the adult had taught him.
In the shadows, unseen, Sethunya winced. Foolish, foolish youngster. She, meanwhile, eyed the strangers with trepidation. They were near enough now to make out, to hear. Two females, full with cub, and a boy. No true threat, but still she stayed hidden, in the comfort of the dark.
Opposite, ears perked as Kitwana caught his own name. Who would be calling to him? Then as a grey figure rose into his view, the male's ears flattened. The twit. That a part of him was glad that the child was well remained well hidden, as, for now, he had no element of surprise, no way that he preferred to observe.
Sighing, he stepped out of his own habitual place in the shadows, nodding to the strange females, the orange one. The look on his face was by no means friendly, a decided scowl hanging on his features, but it stopped short of the snarl often found there.
Eyes twitching as a stone fell off a pile of rocks, the lion narrowed his eyes, ears perked to a low rumbling from below.

Muroki trotted out of hiding next to Kitwana and wove between his legs, towards the Nest entrance. He smiled at the male he'd 'stalked' and at the orange one he quickly slunk by. Rahima was still outside the Nest but her nephew was aiming for her bed, not his actual aunt.
Following Kitwana and the other two so quietly and everything had tired him out.

Eyes widening as a cub weaved it's way around his legs, a brow quirked at the strange child. Following him was one matter, but this... this baffled him. In any but a cub he would have seen challenge, but he was no coward, he did not threaten cubs.
Instead, he turned his attention to the orange fuzz blocking him, smile tinged with mockery. The quaking was yet but a distraction, whilst the orange one... he was amusing. "Brave knight?" he sniggered.

Laini nodded, mewing at times as her contractions were coming harder and more painful. "Whatever it is..." she sighed, laying down, following her instincts that told her to push the first cub. "Rahima, stay with me", she asked, tears of pain and fear flowing on her cheeks and muzzle.

Rahima sucked in her breath as her first strong contraction came. Kitwana and the others really did deserve her attention, but that last one wasn't just a 'twinge'. Kneading the earth with her claws, she stopped looking for a stampeed. It obviously wasn't a vast herd on the move and right now she didn't care.
"Sorry, excuse me." She nodded repectfully to the newcomers, and padded in. Nuzzling Laini's neck and nudging Muroki back outside, she lay down in her 'bed'. Nest time. "I'm here Laini - and I'm not going anywhere...s'my time."

Masego, too jubilant to have any care for strangers, had launched himself at Kitwana, almost knocking the adult over. "I found you!" he declared happily, almost bouncing with excitement. "I lost you, but I FOUND you."
Too happy even to notice the shuddering ground, the sounds of pain, he continued to lavish attention on it's unwilling recipient.
Hidden, Sethunya sniggered at the look of pained irritation on the elder of the pair's face, before silencing herself once more.
Kitwana, meanwhile, was blind to nothing. "Indeed, now cease bouncing before you lose a lot more," he snipped, tone harsh, but there was an indulgence hidden within it, a hint Masego chose to hear, purring happily. Watching one retreat to the voice of another femme, a brow rose a tad higher. So... there were more on the way?

Bhaskar half circled around Laini and Rahima, worried. What could he do? Could he do anything? Should he be here? He eyes Muroki and blinked. Okay, so he'd missed that. Ah well, he looked like a cool cub.
Eyes glanced from Laini to Rahima and back again "Just tell me what to do, and I will.." he shifted his feet, nervous and worried for the two mothers-to-be.

Laini felt relieved, knowing that Rahima was there. Even though she was in pain, having a friend around her made her secure. She would survive of this. And Rahima would too. "Did you find out why earth shakes?" she questioned when the pain wasn't so bad. Speaking of which, it was shaking harder and harder now. What was it? It made Laini scared.

"I think it's just the earth shifting Laini. The gods, nature, must will it so..." Rahima stiffled a growl as her insides clenched. Hopefully Laini woild accept it as something entirely natural and safe. Though the crimson lioness wasn't so sure -safe- was accurate. "Lord Bhaskar, please keep Muroki occupied?"
Muroki had started wandering off already, looking for something to do. Obviously he wasn't wanted by his aunt, adult matters and such...maybe there were crocodiles in that steam in the distance? Hmm...

Bored with observing, apprehensive of the shuddering around her, Sethunya slunk forward from the shadows, silently joining the pair of males on the outside of this cosy little gathering, meeting the adult at his shoulder. "Kitwana," she said quietly, nodding. Of his adoring companion, she was unaware of a name, but that scrawny lion she could recognise at a mile. "It truly has been an age, rescued any damsels of late?" Here she snickered, enjoying the less than pleased look on his face.

Finally able to get a small snack to eat, Kirjava's ears flicked at more movement somewhere close by. Curiosity got the better of her as she stood up and wandered away from the stream. After some time and some back tracking, she spotted a large group of lions up ahead. While she recognized the two female lionesses and the orange male and the tan male, she did not recognize the others.
Slinking towards the ground, she tried to hide herself for she didn't know if she was intruding or not. It wasn't until then had she realized the two females she had first seen had cubs with them. Cubs? They were moms now? Not quite grasping the concept of pregnancy, she pushed it out of her mind before she waited until she was seen by the others and invited over. Tail flicked from side to side as crimson eyes watched the small group before her.
