"Are you going to answer me girl? Why are you staring at us?" Clare asked in a cutting tone, tired of all the arguments today, and it wasn't even dinner time. Speaking of dinner, Clare heard a low knock, and with a few brisk steps opened the door for the Innkeeper with their food.

Aiya waited for the innkeeper to leave. He gave them a few odd looks. When the door was closed again she decided to give the woman an answer. "I was only curious as to why you had a boy traveling with you. You don't see many Claymores with humans."

"You also don't seem many young girls about without family or friends, curiosity like that can get you killed." Watching with a bemused expression on her face as she watched Raki eat, Clare still couldn't figure out her interest in this lonesome-looking girl. Risking the chance that the girl would notice her curiosity, Clare couldn't keep it to herself anymore, "Where is your family?

When the word kill was mentioned Aiya automatically reached for her sword. She relaxed only a little at the question. "In their town. I ran away." She looked from the boy to the claymore. She wasn't sure of what their reaction would be.

Smiling softly at Raki's protectiveness, Clare turned to, Aiya she said her name was, yes Aiya. Why did she run away? And where could she be going? Deciding to ask her questions out loud, Clare debated with herself why she was even considering such a thing.

Aiya looked to Raki.' Humm there must be more to this than I thought. He seems protective.... odd I guess.' She thought. She waited for a reaction from one of the two.

"Where are you running to?" Clare questioned with a decisiveness. toying with other almost unthinkable options, Clare picked up a roll and began eating a little bit at a time. waiting for the response, Clare put off the choices till she got all her answers. Wondering at herself, Clare wondered where she got this inquisitiveness. 'I never want to know all this information. What's gotten into me?'

Aiya was hesitant to answer. She never normally talked about her life. She was the background, most people didn't care. She didn't understand why this Claymore did care. Finally Aiya answered the question, "I'm not running to anywhere." it was short but it was true. She never had a plan on where to go. She just had to leave.

Sighing under her breath, Clare saw no alternative to the choices she already had. Bracing herself for the response of the two humans in the room with her, Clare stated in a clear voice, "Then you wouldn't mind coming with us, I need someone to keep an eye on Raki, I and a group of Claymores have been sent to kill something very strong, and I need to make sure I'm not distracted by worrying about him."

Aiya looked at her oddly. "You want me to be a baby sitter?" She thought about it a moment. "I'll consider coming, but not without your name." Aiya crossed her arms over her chest. She needed something to do. Why not tag along with a group of Claymores. Something new.

"Clare, if you are willing to help me we leave at dawn," glancing quickly at Raki, then out the window in a contemplative manner, Clare responded quietly, "No you are not a kid, yet neither have you mastered your sword, and I will not leave you unprotected."

Aiya thought about it. "Fine. I'll come. What exactly are you fighting? I'm guessing its not a normal Yoma seeing as there is what four of you." She looked at Raki. He really didn't look to happy. Aiya decided that she might show him a few things with the sword.
