((I can understand what she means. sweatdrop )) One of Aaron's eyebrows quirked slightly at the word 'friend', but he didn't bother to challenge the term. There was no way he wanted to stick around any longer than was necessary. He thought the girl had been talking to him when she inquired about who someone was and had no interest in answering; that question was enough to make the heavy pit of panic return to his stomach. He actually hadn't noticed it was gone until it returned. Apparently the girl's fear had been enough to draw him temporarily out of his self-absorbed, amnesia filled bubble, but now he was back inside, and it was time to move on toward a possible solution. He gently but firmly pushed the girl off him. "Madison," he repeated, his quiet voice deceptively calm, "May I get up now?"

Madison shrugged at Chase's question, and looked toward Aaron, waiting for an answer as well. She rolled to the side as he pushed her off of him, embarrassment coloring her cheeks pink. "And your name is?" she asked Aaron, standing up and dusting the dirt off of her jeans. "Perhaps we should get out of here, I don't want to be here when the thugs get a clue." she joked, heading off randomly into the trees.

((Just in case anyone's wondering, I'm playing Aero on a new account because my previous one, Namonai_Jiko, was hacked. You can ask Scribblet if you need confirmation.))
Aero brushed a strand of pale green hair out of her eyes as she walked back to the kitchen of the Cafe, an order in her hands. She wondered what it was about today that made her want to get up and go have fun, but then again, she was always like that, so she brushed the thought off. When she reached the kitchen, she set to work preparin the Veggie Soup and the cresant that her table had ordered. Just as she started though, a large hand took the ladel out of her hand and gently pushed her out of the way. Smiling, Areo looked up at her father.
"Go on. It's the weekend. You should be out having fun, not filling in for someone. Besides, today's your 17th birthday!" Grinning at her, he pulled a 50 out of his back pocket, something he had been saving for just the right moment. "Go have fun for today, and then later tonight, we'll celebrate as a family, okay?"
She hesitated for a moment, before smiling and taking the gift, as well as giving him a hug. Taking off her apron, she slung it on a hook by the kitchen door and walked out the back door. The moment the sun hit her face Aero smiled, happy and excited, before walking forward onto the sidewalk. Grinning like crazy, Aero was sure she got more than a few curious looks as she continued farther away from the cafe and closer to the park, though it didn't really bother her. She was used to attention from people she didn't even know, mainly because of the singing she did at the Cafe. As she came closer and closer to the park, Aero still couldn't believe that she was finally 17. After waiting a whole year she could finally claim to be almost 18. Yay!
Her hair blew slightly in the wind, pushing it all behind her, before it fell in front of her grey eyes again. In jeans and a halter top, she looked just like any other teenager, though she definetly didn't feel like one. Grinning again, Aero finally found herself at the entrance to the park and walked inside, having alway enjoyed the nature that was there.

Aaron stood up as Madison did, fully ready to walk off in a completely different direction without answering her new question. Then she mentioned thugs. He paused, which in itself was ridiculous. He had freaking amnesia; he certainly wasn't in a good position to look after anyone. He watched the girl walk moving off in an apparently random direction, her long red hair floating behind her. She gave off an impression of almost overwhelming fragility, and she'd obviously been scared... thugs...
The next thing he knew, he was starting after her, his pace unhurried. He'd just make sure she got wherever she was going okay, and then he'd get back to taking care of his memory loss thing. It wasn't as though he was on a schedule, he thought, a slight, wry smile passing briefly across his face.
((No, I don't think it had anything to do with you.))

Zara walked toward the park, trying not to look as grumpy as she felt. Some date this was going to be; she'd only managed to straighten her bangs before her hair straightener had shorted out, leaving her looking, in her opinion, like a complete idiot. A strawberry blonde curl found its way into her mouth, and she brushed it aside impatiently. She hated having curly hair, especially the type she was stuck with; no soft curls for Zara. She got a veritable waterfall of long ringlets. At least it was fine and soft; thank God for small favors. The only real way to make it manageable was to have it straightened chemically, which she was scheduled to do next week.
She finally got to an entrance, found the tree she was supposed to wait at, and sat down, still fussing with her hair. Jacob was going to take one look at her and-- God, what was I thinking? She's a freak! Now I remember why I don't usually date underclassmen. Biting her lip, she thought hard for a moment, then brightened slightly and reached into her purse, bringing out a pretty headband edged with thick white lace and sliding it into her hair just behind her bangs. Now the cruel trick of fate would hopefully look intentional.

Chase glanced at Aaron, his eyes flashing a deep blue. He smiled, his intentions were jumbled, but none of them bad. "So, where are you heading too? I can walk you home or something." Chase wanted to be sure Madison was safe, and even though he was tired and close to home, leaving her lost with a group of thugs chasing after her wasn't on his list of options.

((Ooc: No that I doubt anyone wants confirmation (why would someone steal an RP character?) But Kashikoi is in fact who she says she is. I forgot to say anything. >.<)) "Look, I'm going to go now Ok? I want to try and find that guy who helped us. Thank him you know?" She said to Jessica who seemed to have given up the ability to talk. Still shellshocked from the 'thugs' no doubt. Laila had given in on this girl, but felt the need to still introduce herself before leaving. Let the girl know who her attempted to be rescuer was. "I'm Meg." She announced pointing at herself, when she had thought to introduce herself, she had never thought for a second of using her real name. That would be foolish. She didn't want to give herself away completely to a girl she already used her gifts in front of, only because she thought the girl had been worth something, and to relieve a bit of boredom. Staring hard at this girl one final time, her eyes widened as bits of past flickered through her eyes. "I was wrong. You're not to different from myself, pity you can't figure out how to use what you posess. When you learn how to, call me OK? I'm always around." And with that she strode off to find Chase.

Madison was thankful for the help, and she stopped, turning to face them both. She then remembered her lack of memory, and bit her lip softly. "Errr... I don't really know where I'm going. Any ideas on a place to stay?" she asked, a bit embarrassed about her current situation. She didn't know where she was, let alone how to get to where she was staying.

Chase was confused, but knew Madison was telling the truth."You can stay at my place, it's small, but it'll do until you find your bearings." Chase was looking forward to the extra company, even if having Madison around would be temporary. "You're in New York. Usually not as... exciting as what we just experienced, but it's a nice place."

It took her a long time of wandering, but after a while and some hard listening she heard a familiar voice drift through the trees very very faintly. She was confused at her own behaviour, she would never have thought that she would try to find someone to thank them. But she seemed to have seen so many peculiar people today. She caught a glimpse of three people standing in the trees, two boys and a girl. One of the boys whom she recognised from before. The one she had been looking for. She leaned against a tree watching them with interest in her eyes.

Aaron repressed the urge to smile at the irony of her asking him that question with some difficulty, but the impulse vanished when the other boy--Chase-- when he offered his home, and he searched his face for any danger signs. Finally he relaxed. Chase seemed sincere, actually more than sincere, and Aaron finally knew what city he was in. He could leave; she seemed to be in good hands... Wait... Why had Chase mentioned that they were in New York? It couldn't have been for Aaron's benefit; he'd hardly spoken three words together and none of them had been the word amnesia. He looked at Madison, his eyes intense. "You didn't know where you were?"

((ok, im here! sorry, sorry ><'' ))
Jessica took a few deep breaths before running after the girl Meg. She wasn't necessarily out of breath but that's just what she wanted the girl to think. Anyways, she didn't want to waste her energy if something were to go wrong. She caught up with her as she was leaning against the tree. "Wait, I wanted to say th---" She tripped over a tree root unintentionally into a clearing where the people from before were standing around. If Meg was watching them before, her cover was definitely blown. "Ow..." She moaned and picked herself up. "Oh, hey. You two were the people from before that helped us." Yeah, she said 'us' meaning the two of them. "Thanks so much." She said with a fake but convincing grateful smile.

Aaron's eyebrows shot up as he looked from the blonde to the other, darker girl standing just outside the tree line, feeling more than uneasy enough for his train of thought to be derailed. The first had a undertone to her speech he wasn't sure he liked, and he second had the look of someone who'd had time to get comfortable standing where she was. Had she been listening to them, and if so, for how long and why? He caught the brunette's dark eyes for a long moment, his expression unreadable, then turned his attention back to Madison. "More friends?" he asked noncommittally.

Chase heard the seemingly grateful appoligies and turned around to acknowledge them. Once he did though, he wished that he didn't. His eyes flashed a deep blood red and he quickly felt uneasy. 'Their intentions are terrible.' He thought as he spoke. "No problem, I just didn't want anyone hurt." He spoke kindly, but his voice wavered a bit, giving off his nervousness. 'They're bad news I know it, but... why? Why am I second guessing people I don't even know? They came to thank Madison and I, they can't be that bad but...' He questioned himself, but still felt the same. Jessica and Mel were trouble. 'But... why?'
