Iam_Nobody17 rei__10 ive heard that the trumpets and flutes are really evil with eachother... is this true for you guys or not? i know with me and my friend (pround flutes) we are tight with the trumpets. just wondering if its the same with you.. kind of not really i voted flutes cause i got to listen to the trumpets' bells 5 in from my ear!!!!!! sry oi too critical evil ...You think that's bad?
Try being in the trumpet section... and right in front of the bass trombones, who are playing in ff, with their bells literally right behind your head.
I swear, that was probably the only time they had their bells up during practice.

I would probably be fine with trumpets if I didn't sit right in front of a whole group of REALLLY ANNOYING trumpet players who basically ruined this year for my crush and me so I sort of have a grudge against trumpets

at our school, the flutes hate the trumpets. The percussionists and the trumpets are the ones that get along. They are known as the percrumpets.

sweatdrop You think that's bad, try being in the sax section with trumpets playing right behind you that only know two dynamics... louder and loudest. Or even worse, try being in the percussion section during marching band. My ears have never been the same since. But I have to say, after I trained a new french horn player that we got, one of the loudest section is my band is now my true section (the French Horn section).

@ my school flutes despise trumpets b/c they have such big egos, sadly so do our saxaphones rolleyes as a flute, we here the mistakes that the trumpets make.......we believe the trumpets messed it up for us st sight reading cry

i go flutes, because the trumpets in our ensemble are really up themselves, and my best friend plays flute.
but i'm a low brass fan to the core...

The flutes at my school are too much at odds with the clarinets to worry about the trumpets, and the trumpets hate us french horns...and if they keep it up that hate will become mutual... ninja twisted scream stressed burning_eyes

I am a trumpet, one of my friends is a flute player, the trumpet and flute section(cept one of my trumpets who was just mean to everyone) got along with each other just fine.
