"Thank you." her voice nearly oozed thanks as she filled it out, already knowing everything, she'd memorized her own records a long time ago and filled everything out, handing it back quickly. "Thank you so much." she flashed a smile to the nurse.

The nurse took the clipboard and set it on the counter. "Alright, please lift your shirt over you stomach." She asked Shaon as she grabbed the lotion.
Yori began to feel uncomfortable, but kept his cool in front of the nurse.

Shaon complied, ignoring Yori easily. she did the same when altair stared down her. act like she was somewhere else. act like she wasn't there.

The nurse rubbed the cool lube on Shaons stomach and turned to the machine; gabbing a small device the looked like an old computer mouse. He moved the device over Shaon stomach and a gray image come on the screen.
Yori held Shaons hand as he looked into the screen.

Shaon gripped his hand, not just to lie, but because the touch was messing with her mind. she was going to loose it soon. she hated being touched.

"Look." The nurse said in amazement. "That is the baby... There's the head... and there's its little feet. The nurse pionted at something on the screen. And there's the other one."
Yori couldn't make out any thing, only a large circle surrounded by mush.

Shaon gaped. "T...twins?" her voice broke and her hand tightenend on Yori's.

The nurse looked at Shaon. "Yes. two beautiful healthy twins. Aren't you lucky." She said as she returned to looking at the screen.
Yori still didn't see anything. "Twins." He mumbled to himself. He wonder if this changed anything

Shaon felt like she was going to faint. "thta's...wonderful..." she sagged on Yori a bit, trying to keep from falling back.

"Would you like to know the sex of the baby?" The nurse asked In her perky voice."
"Yes." Yoried answered her. he wanted to know and he knew Jack wanted to know.

Shaon nodded. "both of them would work..." she mumbled, barely able to think straight.

The nurse looked at the screen, "Well, its hard to tell at this angle, but that one is a boy and the other one... is a girl." She told the two.
Yori leaned back on the chair. he wished Ben was here to see this.

Shaon felt like she was going to be sick. this ruined her plans totally and she gripped her fingers in her palm to keep from passing out.

The nurse put away the machine and grabbed a roll of paper towels and wiped Shaons stomach. "Well, be sure to come back for a regular visit." She told them as she stood up and walked to the door.
Yori watched the nurse as she left in a hurry, his suspicions grew. "You Ready?" He asked Shaon.
