How long have you been playing?
Played Bass solidly for a year, then switched back and forth between guitar and bass for 9 years.
What model bass do you have?
Bass: Fender Deluxe P-Bass
Amp: Fender Bassman 60
Preferred method of playing?
Picking (Mainly picked up from playing guitar)
Personal Influences?
Industrial, Metal, Classic Rock, Alternative
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist?
Jaco Pastorius, Les Claypool, Flea, Justin Chancellor (Tool), Frank Cavanagh (Filter)
Any thing you'd like to add (about the rules or anything at all?)?
good to see a mature guild talk about something besides sex.

What model bass do you have?
Electric: Fender Jazz Bass, Mexcian Precision Bass, and some sh%t 'SX' brand lol
Acoustic: Crappy Yamaha
Double Bass: Signature: Otto Rubner
Preferred method of playing?
I don't have a preferred method.. Anything that comes my way.. But if i had to pick.. ummmm... I'll just say slapping because i love the sound heheh, but i play anything i want razz
Personal Influences?
Melissa Auf Der Maur, Jeff Ament, Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Sam rivers( is ok sometimes lol), Les Claypool and Rodger Glover.. Thats all i can think of at the time lol

String Bass - about 7 years
Electric - about 6 years xd
What model bass do you have?
My Upright is some no-name bass from czech. It has broad shoulders, is a little new, but has a beefy sound!
I play a Peavey Cirrus 5-string [Low B] and I also own a Fender Fretless 4-string Jazz.
Preferred method of playing?
Hrm, I play orchestral along with JAZZ on my upright - w00t!
Just about anything on my electric. I'd like to try slap more, but I rarely have to actually use it, so I only make up junk on my own time. I don't use a pick much at all: I'm better with my fingers biggrin
Personal Influences?
My bass teacher Bruce, and perhaps some of my past orchestra directors, they rawk.

I have a Squier Affinity P Bass, but I plan to get a Fender Jazz Bass once i get the money.
Preferred method of playing?
Picking and slapping.
Personal Influences?
Hearing the bass in Anti-Flag, and one of my best friends.

Everyone who has ever touched a bass. The bassist for the Trans Siberian Orchestra told me that I should learn how to play. Bass players are always the coolest members of a band.

a no-name 6 six string (only using the last 4 though...i think this guitars like at least 20 years old.....lol)

punk, rock, blues, jazz, basically anything that has a sweet bass sound in it
