Quote: Fitz cocked his head much like a curious dog would. "Government? Isn't that a group of people that governs others? Why would they be a threat to you." Fitz, if his clothing was no indication, had grown up wild. He knew his English, but he knew nothing of history or current events. He was only concerned with the present and his life. Others didn't matter. Emily was one of the first people he had shown himself to. There had been others sure. But they weren't like her. He didn't feel the connection with them. "You've never heard of the Government? Look, believe me, they're not to be trusted. They're sick. They capture people like us, torture us, do experiments... They made us in the first place, at least they say. That's why they hate us. Normals are the people of God, but we are the people of the Devil. It's dangerous enough being out here, away from the woods. Didn't you know? I'm risking enough just being here, but I wanted to see Oxford again. It's such a beautiful place. Well, it was, at least." Emily sat down on the grass. "It's strange, really. So there really are more of us? Like you? Up until now I thought it was just a myth. A legend. You know. Powerful demons that were made by people. I used to think it was just me, reading the books wrong."

Fitz shrugged his shoulders. "You ask questions I don't know. I grew up here. There have been some humans that hunt animals sure, but no one has ever attacked me. And I really don't think God or demons or the devil has anything to do with what powers you developed. Just a feeling. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit. That is what the wolves have always told me." Brother rubbed his head underneath Fitz's hand. It was obvious that the dog didn't like it when Fitz was human. He accepted it as a part of nature, but he still preferred Fitz as an animal. Brother wasn't the first of Fitz's companions. A normal dog couldn't keep up with the boy for that long. The boy was more like his litter mate than anything else. That was why he was given the name Brother.

"I'm not saying I believe them about God or the Devil or their cr@p. It was scientists. Not supernatural powers. I've naver met the wolves. I thought the had died out, because of us. I'd like to meet them, some day." Emily stood up. "Well, I like talking, but I prefer action. Do you want to see Oxford?"

Fitz nodded. "I really haven't been anywhere near humans, but I'm afraid I won't fit in. My coverings don't look like yours." He tugged at his outlandish garb. "And Brother, though he trusts you, doesn't want me to get into trouble with these Government people."

Terya had forgotten about the handcuffs. She needed to hurry, the others were becomming aware. She positioned herself on his shoulder and unmisted for 1/4th of a second then re-misted, taking the boy with her. She held onto him tight and flew at the exit, and busted through.

Magus saw her for an instant"@#$%"He said running after their scent. He was tazing the air randomly. If there was any luck she'd be mist instead of air and that would mean since mist is water, they'd have a rude awakening.

((Hah ha you missed us!))
She kept on going until they were about 30 miles away from the building, then sat herself and the boy down in a clearing in the woods, and unmisted them. "How is it that you and the other people knew I was there?"

((She didn't know she was mist. All she knew was that her eyes counted 2 Gifted and her nose counted 3.))
Callie turned around in shock. She then leveled the tranquilizer gun at Magus. She practically screamed at him. "Why was that captive out of his cell? What could have possibly processed you to let him out? We had a rat in the walls. Now we have one less captive and no where to find him." She massaged her temples. 'And he wonders why he never gets the job. Incompetent fool.'

"I'm Terya." The boy was nice. That was new to her. The boys she grew up with were cruel and horrible. "How did they get you into that place?"

Magus turned to see a tranquilizer gun pointed to his head."Hey...I was in the boundaries of my clearence...plus it wasn't him that allowed him to escape.Check records, he doesn't have that gift."He said.He made it a point to read all the records that he could.
"I duuno"Mark replied, he didn't know much other than how to speak.
