Posted: Sun May 01, 2005 3:03 pmThe Marriage Braids Torvil woke to the sound of humming. His mother was out in the kitchen, obviously making breakfast. He got out of bed, making sure his clothes were on straight. He kissed Ala on the forehead and headed out of the room, to talk to his mother about the events that had happened the night before. Ala woke a short time later and sat up blinking looking around for a bit before remembering where she was, fixing up her own clothing she wandered out of the room trying to figure out where to go
"Oh I'm sorry dear I didn't realize it would do that..." Came Mitizimi's voice from down the hall. "It's okay Mom, really. She's fine and as far as I can tell so is bump." Ala followed the sounds of the voices figuring it was probably a safe bet to finding her way back out of the back area
Torvil stuck his head out of the kitchen. "Over here love..." He waved, and stuck his head back in. Ala smiled seeing him and moved more reassuredly in his direction one hand on her belly the other scratching her shoulder as she padded into the kitchen
Torvil smiled at her and moved over to her, nuzzling her ear with a light purr. Mitizimi smiled softly. "Sorry dear, I did not know it would affect the little one so..." Ala smiled softly as he nuzzled her "It's ok mom, my pregnancy is totally unlike any Dragonic one so I wouldn't expect you to have known... but then I didn't know either"
Mitizimi nodded and smiled softly. "Though I am happy the two of you enjoyed yourselves..." Torvil chuckled and started to n** Ala's ear softly. Ala laughed "As much as possible till one throws up" she purred softly at her husband
Mitizimi giggled. "Well it's sometimes like that..." She seemed to not notice her son's actions. Torvil ran his tongue along Ala's ear softly as his teeth nipped roughly. "The joys of a longer pregnancy" she said with a bit of a shiver
Mitizimi nodded. "Be glad you are only carrying one..." Torvil purred happily and started to nibble roughly on her ear, his tongue brushing against the skin he bit roughly. Ala chuckled "I think them oysters still effecting him..." she said with a small smirk pointing at Torvil
Mitizimi smirked and shook her head. "I would think not... Even with the amount he ate, they should have run through his system before he awoke..." Torvil purred and broke away slowly. "Can't I show my wife some affection without her automatically suspecting I'm either urged or induced-urged?" Ala chuckled at both and turned her head giving him a soft kiss
Torvil purred into the kiss, holding it for a bit. Ala purred softly kissing him and feeling a flutter in her belly of a calm bump
Torvil purred happily and breaking away, his hand going to her belly and rubbing softly. Mitizimi watched happily, a smile on her face. Ala smiled "Bump is calm now" she said with a light chuckle then looked towards his mother again
Torvil beamed. "I feel this..." Mitizimi smiled at the pair. "Did you rest well?" Ala nodded "Yeah once bump and my stomach settled I did"
Mitizimi nodded. "Are you hungry? I made some steaks..." Ala nodded "Yes please, long as there isn't red oysters in them " she giggled
Mitizimi giggled. "I'm afraid the two of you ate the last of them..." She smirked, going to get the steaks off the fire. Torvil chuckled and pulled Ala close, his hands resting on her belly. "I love you, and I love bump..." Ala smiled and looked at him "We love you too love" she said giving him a gentle kiss
Torvil purred happily into the kiss, returning it with equal gentleness. Ala slowly broke the kiss and looked into his eyes
Torvil purred and rested his forehead on hers. Ala smiled and rested her hand on his on her belly
Torvil purred happily. "Okay you two, can you break up the love long enough to eat?" Mitizimi joked, putting the steaks on the table. Ala chuckled and pulled away from him and walked to the table
Torvil walked to the table and jumped up, sitting down and starting to eat. Ala climbed up to sit on the table and began to eat, she noticed the portion was again too big but figured she'd not say anything and just stop when she had her fill
Torvil ate and finished quickly, looking to Ala and waiting for her to finish, he would eat her portion, or what was left. Ala smiled and pushed her plate to him when she ate what she wanted "Thanks mom" she said looking towards her
Mitizimi smiled. "You're welcome dear..." Torvil finished off her portion as well. "I'd have to say this is the longest we've stayed at the cliffs out of all our visits" she mused
Mitizimi smiled. "Perhaps it has something to do with that..." She pointed at bump. Torvil smiled. "It was late..." Ala laughed "Perhaps it did I don't know, Torvil carried me most of the way here"
Torvil smiled softly. "I thought it better you rest in a bed for the night, instead of in the air..." Mitizimi looked like she was ready to say 'awwww' Ala giggled "Thanks love" she glanced at Mitizimi "Get everything done yesterday you need to when you went out those couple times?" she had a small smirk on her face
Mitizimi giggled. "Yeah... I'll go get them... Its just juice, nothing special..." Ala nodded "Ok"
Mitizimi stood up and headed over to the kitchen area... Ala watched her move running a hand over her belly as she did
Torvil purred softly and moved over to Ala, sitting behind her, his hands coming around to rest on her belly. Mitizimi returned with three glasses filled with a orange colored liquid. Ala relaxed against him and smiled as Mitizimi returned
Mitizimi handed her a glass. "Don't be fooled by the color, it has a much stronger bite than oranges..." Ala took the glass "What is it?" she asked bringing it to her lips and taking a small sip
Mitizimi smiled. "Its a citrus, kind of a mix of an orange and a lemon..." Ala nodded "Ok" she sipped at the drink
Torvil took his and drank, he smirked. "Just like when I was little..." He chuckled. "And I stole some..." Ala chuckled and shook her head "It's nice, a little strong yes, but still overall it's nice"
Mitizimi smiled. "We drink it a lot around here... The trees grow in the main circle by the pond..." "Must make it fairly easy to get then" she said drinking a bit more before putting the unfinished glassed down to finish in a bit and digging in her pouch for some crackers
Torvil smiled and finished his, putting his glass aside. "Yes, one can just pick the fruit if they wish, but its easier to have someone else juice it..." Ala chuckled "Did you manage to grab much of it when you were younger?" she asked him
Torvil shook his head. "Too busy avoiding dad..." "Speaking of your dad......" she looked over her shoulder at him
Torvil nodded. "It's the weekend now isn't it..." He said softly... Ala nodded "The beginning of it yeah..."
Torvil sighed. "I should get to work then... It's going to take awhile..." He unwrapped from her and kissed her ear. Ala smiled, she was going to stay here with Mitizimi while he worked "Stay safe love" she told him munching on crackers and drinking the juice
Torvil nodded hopping off the table. "I will love... Don't wait up for me..." With that he left. Mitizimi looked to Ala. "How long do you think it will take him? "Probably till either tonight or tomorrow morning, he's getting help from Asmodeus on the other side, but her has to ... collect the body together first" she said climbing down from the table
Mitizimi nodded and smiled at Ala. "I really can't thank the two of you enough..." "Mom... this is all his doing, Only part of it that's me is telling you before you had a heart attack seeing him walk in here... I saw Korvil on the other side, first time I saw him he was much different towards Torvil, myself and our children then he is now.... " Ala told her
Mitizimi nodded and touched Ala's shoulder, steering her towards the couch. "Well... That's somewhat easy to explain... Shezar... He would often point out that the White hairs were very, very different from us... And would use that against them..." Ala nodded "That's the impression I got from Malkar when I sat talking to him at well the not-a-funeral funeral... I don't really know what to call what that turned out to be. But I also know Shezar isn't here anymore, and what he tried to do to me is part of the reason for that" she climbed onto the couch and sat down
Mitizimi sat down and moved Ala a bit, taking her hair and starting to braid it. "Shezar was a vile man... No one would speak up about it, but we all knew it... deep down... But he had power... He was the eldest of the council..." Ala nodded slightly as the woman braided her long hair "At least until Malkar was brought back, Shezar told me the council asked him to step down, he blamed Torvil and me for that, more Torvil then me"
Mitizimi nodded. "He would..." She said softly, working with Ala's hair with a small smile. "It's been so long since I've done this... I hope I can still do it right..." "I don't often do anything with my hair cept run a brush through it so I'm sure you are doing fine" she said with a smile
Mitizimi smiled softly. "Well I haven't had a daughter small enough to braid her hair for months, not since Merisime left..." "I've seen her a few times, she cares for one of the Balan our shop finds homes for" Ala told her
Mitizimi smiled. "She's been by here every once and a bit..." She smiled, moving on to do another braid. "Well soon you wont have a very quiet cave I'm sure... Probably no more quiet then Mikiri's is... who is Jokar anyways"
Mitizimi smirked. "He would be your nephew..." Ala laughed "Had another clutch did they"
Mitizimi nodded. "Recently in fact..." "I can tell since she called the boy 'young Jokar' I have a feeling he's one of the mob of youngsters that uhmmm found Torvil and I yesterday" she blushed slightly
Mitizimi giggled. "It wasn't hard to find you... I could have if I'd wanted, seeing as I could hear you from up here..." She pointed at the hole in the wall with her free hand as she finished up the second braid, then started on a third. Ala's face went a brighter red as she stared at the hole
Mitizimi giggled and worked on the third braid. "It sounded like you were having fun..." "You could say something like that" she said still blushing "Not that I planned it"
Mitizimi giggled and grabbed all three braids, and started to braid them together. "Torvil probably didn't either..." "Hard to say what he planned" she laughed "As much as I've gotten used to the urge, I haven't at the same time"
Mitizimi smiled as she finished up the braid of braids. "Perfect." She beamed, turning Ala around to look at her. Ala looked up at her and reached over her shoulder to feel the braid "That feels neat, thanks" she said with a smile. She paused "Wanna feel something Torvil likes to feel? It has to do with bump" she added quickly after her question
Mitizimi smiled. "Of course dear..." She patted Ala's cheek. "I think Torvil will like your hair..." She had a soft smirk. Ala smiled and took her mother-in-law's hand from her cheek and placed it on her belly just before she felt the flutter of Bump moving inside her
Mitizimi giggled. "Wow... It moves..." Ala nodded "Yeah it does it pretty often actually, even more so yesterday" she chuckled
Mitizimi nodded and smiled. "Very special, you're blessed..." She nodded and patted Ala's cheek again. "Well dear, what shall we do till our husbands return..." Ala shrugged "I don't really know, there's really not a ton about the cliffs I really know, Torvil never really told me much about it, for the longest time he had no intentions of returning here at all"
Mitizimi nodded. "I wouldn't have blamed him..." Ala nodded "Perhaps you can tell me more..."
Mitizimi smiled softly. "About what? The Cliffs, his past?" "The cliffs, I already know most of his past. I don't really know much about the cliffs, how things tend to be around here and stuff like that" she said
Mitizimi nodded and put a finger to her chin. "Well... There's really not much to describe, we go about our lives... Some hunt, some heal the sick or injured... Some work on making things others need. We barter, we trade, we pay for things with gold if we must..." Ala nodded "Sounds like a pretty normal place I guess, might explain why that healer drank till he knocked himself out that one day"
Mitizimi giggled. "Yeah... You kinda did his job for him, and he had nothing else to do..." She shook her head. "You also scared the living 'ell out of him..." Ala laughed "That's just the normal skills from my Kerrsalian side, they are accompanied by this..." she said as her eyes shifted green and she created a small ball of water "and this" she created the energy in her other hand which she did not yet bring together
Mitizimi watched, not so much awe as fascination. Ala shrugged and brought them together and placed her hands in her lap as her eyes returned to normal. she looked at Mitizimi for a few moments before opening her hands
Mitizimi gasped and reached for the gem almost compulsively before stopping. Ala chuckled and took one hand and reached taking the woman's hand, the other she placed the crystal in her hand
Mitizimi smiled softly. "Thank you.... Its absolutely gorgeous..." Ala smiled "It's a water crystal, afraid I've kinda gotten addicted to making them... easier to collect then other shiny things. Made the first one the first time I met Malkar and Mikiri the day they both showed interest in the one no one but me could ever have"
Mitizimi smiled and nodded, getting up and putting the crystal on the kitchen counter then returning. "Torvil seen your horde yet?" She giggled like it was something dirty. Ala nodded "A couple nights ago he found out I had one" she had to chuckle
Mitizimi smirked. "Bet it drove him nuts to see it..." She looked around and lowered her voice... "If you don't mind me asking... How big is it?" Ala smiled about 3 dozen of those crystals about the same size maybe a few more and a couple other little things, fit's in a fairly small box.
Mitizimi nodded softly, a small smile. "He obviously hasn't told you has he..." "About which?" she said with a blink and a curious look on her face
"The significance of a horde..." She giggled. "Visha! He hasn't has he?" "Uhm, he said it's a huge turn-on...." now she looked confused
Mitizimi nodded. "It would be... Showing someone your horde is like showing them your body..." "Oh.... I don't really know as much as I should I suppose considering I'm more Dragonic then I am what my birth race " she said looking at her hands
Mitizimi just giggled. "It's alright deary... The two of you were married... Has he shown you his?" Ala nodded "Yeah a while ago" she said looking up again "Definitely wont fit in a box"
Mitizimi blushed. "Shhhssh!" She waved her hands. "I don't need to know that about my son..." Ala blushed "Uhm ok"
Mitizimi smiled weakly. "Its alright..." She patted Ala's cheek, calming down. "You've still got a lot to learn, and I'm afraid Torvil isn't teaching you is he?" Ala sighed "Obviously not everything" she said digging in her pouch for more crackers and nibbling on them
Mitizimi smiled. "Well that can be corrected... There's not much really..." She smiled softly. "I've told you the basics kinda sort of..." Ala nodded as she munched "I probably could get more out of the book Torvil let me read, but I didn't really put a ton of effort into it, kinda figured he'd tell me the stuff I needed to know"
Mitizimi nodded and smiled. "Well, what shall we do now... I have a feeling Torvil is going to take forever..." Ala laughed "I'm open to suggestions Mom"
Mitizimi tapped her chin for a moment. "I'm all out of ideas actually... I usually do house work and things, keep the cave clean and such..." "Then how bout we do that then, it's kinda what I do at home when I'm not spending time snuggling with Torvil, though most often it's the shop I'm cleaning as it gets dirtier then the house"
Mitizimi nodded and stood. "You can dust the lower things... Their a pain for me to reach..." Ala nodded "sure" she said climbing off the couch
Mitizimi left quickly and returned with a rather large feather duster. "Smallest I have..." Ala giggled and took it from her holding it with both hands "point me in the right direction"
Mitizimi smiled. "Every thing you can reach..." She said, going off to do her part. Ala nodded and started humming softly as she looked around and found a good place to start then started
Mitizimi cleaned and cleaned, not noticing that it was growing dark outside. Ala dusted stopping now and then to eat some more crackers and at least once to go locate that bathroom and lose her lunch, she didn't notice the time or darkness either as she kept busy
Heavy footsteps were heard outside the door when the sun had set. Mitizimi had stopped working to light some candles. Ala smiled dusting the last of the areas she could reach, when she finished she looked up and towards the opening of the cave to notice it was dark outside
Korvil entered, Torvil lay spread out in his arms, looking very pale and his breathing was super shallow. Ala dropped the duster seeing them enter "He did it again" she murmured quietly
Korvil nodded, and lay Torvil down on the couch, looking very worried. "He said he was fine... Then he just fell over..." Ala nodded and walked over to where he was, "Happened when he brought Mikiri and Malkar back too" she said reaching his side she looked at him then reached forward and brushed his white bangs aside before touching his gem glad this time she hadn't been using her energy to heal herself beforehand
Torvil twitched. "Ala stop... bump..." he gasped... "Bump is fine" she said softly she had one hand on her belly "Bump doesn't feed off my energy in the same way" she didn't move her hand, she knew where she needed to stop, she could feel it
Torvil just nodded weakly, closing his eyes. Ala held her fingers on his gem for a few more moments before pulling her hand away and sitting down beside him
Torvil sat up slowly and shook his head. Ala smiled looking at him then looked towards Korvil, whom up to that point she hadn't paid a whole ton of attention to
Korvil however was a tad occupied, Mitizimi having him pinned to the wall in a rather passionate kiss. Ala chuckled and looked back to her own husband
Torvil smiled at her softly. "Did I do good?" Ala smiled "Considering your mom has him pinned to a wall I think you did, and considering you are alive"
Torvil nodded slowly with a soft smile. "You'll have to thank As for that..." "You are right, I'll have to thank him" she said with a nod "After bump isn't inside me"
Torvil nodded with a smile, and slumped against the couch. "Ugh... That took everything outta me..." "Relax love, I can't give you more energy right now, a couple hours from now I can, but I've reached my limit for now, well at least the limit I set upon myself" she told him
Torvil chuckled. "No need love..." He purred lightly. "I'm fine..." Ala smiled and nodded and brushed her bangs out of her face "I'm sure your mom really appreciates what you have done" she said softly
Torvil nodded slowly. "We might want to flee the room soon." Korvil's hands started to wander. "Like now..." Ala chuckled "How bout we go either see what our daughter is doing or what your sister is doing, you mom says she recently had a new clutch"
Torvil nodded, rising shakily to his feet to flee as his parents hit the floor. He was out the door by the time the clothing started to fly. Ala helped him out of the cave "So where should we go, neither of us is ready for the trip home"
Torvil nodded. "I'd say my sister... But I have the sneaking suspicion we'd run into the same scene..." "Even with kids there?" she inquired "One of the kids was in the mob that found us yesterday"
Torvil chuckled. "You'd be surprised love..." Ala laughed "Actually with your kind, no I wouldn't" she said an arm around his waist "And if your sister has followed through with what she said yesterday Vina might be a lil busy too"
Torvil chuckled. "I'd doubt that... She's picky as hell my daughter mine..." He headed for Rhazar's. Ala chuckled "She's not picky about Rhazar though" she grinned
Torvil chuckled. "Last I asked Rhazar, the both had pretty much stopped doing anything but talking..." "Interesting concept since both like the company of other females" Ala said with a slight frown
Torvil chuckled. "It's natural... Rhazar is feeling her age and Vina... Well Vina she says... Has been having issues..." Running came from the path ahead. Ala nodded "I suppose now and then we all go through strange times in our lives"
A young DL ran by them. "Get outta here! She's a freaking monster!" Torvil stared as he ran past. Ala raised a brow watching the young DL race past "Uhm ok.... has Vina got demon blood too?" she asked Torvil quietly it was the only thing Ala could think of
Torvil shook his head. "She was before..." He said softly walking along. Vina stood in the doorway tapping her foot, a low growl could be heard from where they walked. Torvil winced. "Bad timing on his part if he tried anything..." He pointed at Vina's wings. Feathers were falling off whenever she flapped. "Ohhh that" Ala said remembering the last time Vina had been losing feathers
Torvil nodded. "Worse than PMS she says..." Vina seemed to calm a bit when she saw them. She nodded slightly "Hello Vina hun" Ala said as they got closer
Vina smiled softly. "Hello mother... Did you happen to see a pervert run by you on the path... He and I still haven't finished our little... Chat..." Ala laughed "Yeah he ran past us a few minutes ago"
Vina nodded. "I'll finish it with him later... He needs to learn to keep his hands to himself in the presence of a lady..." She grinned her teeth flashing. Torvil chuckled and shook his head. Ala chuckled "That he does. How are you keeping?"
Vina smiled. "Fine... Quite fine actually..." She smiled and flapped her wings. "That's good to hear, I'm doing pretty good, and so is bump... and I think your grandparents are doing even better" she chuckled
Vina smiled. "That's great!" She seemed very bubbly for someone who'd just been about ready to murder someone. Torvil blinked. "Who gave you that?" He quirked a brow, pointing to a small red flower in her hair. Vina looked up at it quickly. "NOBODY!" Ala giggled "awfully defensive 'nobody' there "
Vina looked around. "Okay... Okay..." She sighed. "There's this guy... His name is Joman..." She blushed. "He kinda... sorta... gavemethisflowerandaskedmeoutsoIwentoutwithhimandnothinghappened atallandheaskedifIwantedtogooutagainandIsaidyesandlater heandIaregoingtothetopoftheclifstowatchthemoonrise..." Ala had to blink a few times and think for a moment before she raised a brow "Uh Vina... I caught about 7 of those words"
Vina blushed. Torvil chuckled. "She said... Joman gave her the flower, asked her out, nothing happened that date, he asked her out again, and tonight they're going to the top of the cliffs to watch the moon rise." Ala smiled "Well now, it sounds like you are finding yourself someone who has feelings for females, I wish you the absolute best in that field hun"
Vina blushed bright red. "T-thanks..." Torvil chuckled and hugged her, giving her a kiss on the forehead. "He's not a DL is he..." Vina blushed even more. "Well now, seems more then one of our children is shy about giving details of their potential mates" Ala said with a giggle as she ran her hand over her belly
Vina looked down at her feet. "Jomanisn'taDLhe'saDrow..." Torvil raised a brow. Ala raised her own brow, she'd never actually seen a Drow though she had heard of them "Where did you meet him hun?"
Vina looked around. "Weeeeelll... I was exploring the under caverns, where only the council is allowed to go... And I kinda... Bumped into him... Literally..." Torvil tapped his chin. Ala looked to her husband who had been very quiet for several minutes
"That would explain... Why the council has technology the other DLs do not..." He finally said. Vina's eyes widened. "ShhhSh!" She waved her hands. "You, I, and the Council knows that... but the others don't... The culture shock would kill them!" Torvil nodded. "I know..." Ala chuckled and shook her head
Torvil shot Ala a, 'by the way I'm dying every time I go to the clinic from CS' look. Ala raised a brow looking at him
Torvil sighed and hugged her. "You know I still have trouble there..." He sighed. "And I was exposed to the technology the Council had... Imagine what would of happened if I hadn't?" "I know you do Torvil" she said "I've known that since you started tagging along"
Torvil nodded and hugged her tighter, but not tight enough to hurt bump. Vina nodded. "Well I have to go get ready..." She flapped her wings, feathers falling. "Have fun Vina" Ala said
Vina smiled. "Thanks... I will..." She curtsied and walked back into her house. Torvil smiled. Ala nodded a goodbye to her stepdaughter then turned and started to walk away
Torvil walked with her, nuzzling the side of her head. Ala pushed away a bit without a word
Torvil sighed and walked slightly distant. "Sorry..." He said softly. "I'm more then aware your feelings of the clinic, I'm aware of your feelings about light bulbs, about running water, among everything else Torvil, you don't need to keep reminding me, especially in front of others" she said sounding a bit grumpy
Torvil sighed. "Sorry..." He said softly, looking down at his feet. "And I mean it, I am... I'll stop..." He said, his voice starting to break.... It had been a long day for him. Ala stopped walking and looked up at the moon "Yeah... I know" she replied, her moods were playing topsy turvy right then
Torvil looked at her, and quickly wiped his eyes. He didn't want her to see that he'd been crying, even if it had only been for a moment. He held back a sniffle. Ala sighed softly then looked down from the sky and started walking again
Torvil joined her, and quickly wiped the back of his hand with the other, trying to get rid of the red stain. Ala looked over at him as they walked
Torvil smiled at her softly. But below his eyes were stained and there were single tear red lines down his cheeks that he had not gotten rid of yet. "Why are you crying" she asked stopping again
Torvil shook his head. "I'm tired..." He said softly. "I'm tired and you were upset... and that made me upset... upset that I made you upset..." "I'm tired too, I spent the day with your mom and helped her clean then shared my energy with you....." it wasn't all that was bothering her but she let that sit
Torvil sighed. "That's not all love and I know it..." He said softly. "Nothing" she mumbled and kept walking passing him not even sure where to head since Mitizimi and Korvil were very likely still at it
Torvil followed her and touched her arm lightly. "Tell me please love..." He looked at her. "I want to know... It's not nothing..." Ala stopped and turned "fine you want to know? how long have you known me Torvil?" she asked
Torvil counted it out. "Months... We've been married for two... I met you a good two months or more before then..." "And have I once done a single thing that's changed my appearance besides getting pregnant, in those months" she said sounding both upset and ready to crack
Torvil shook his head. "Not that I've really noticed..." "So for the first time ever something about my appearance changes and you can't even be bothered to notice!" she said her voice cracking as she spun around again and started walking away
Torvil froze and chased after her. He grabbed her arm and spun her around, his eyes going over her features. He blinked and his jaw dropped. "Oh lord... I'm an a**..." He let her go and flopped down onto the ground, burring his face into his hands. "Oh dear lord I'm an a**..." Ala didn't look at him, in fact she didn't look at anything, hadn't even been as she was walking, she coulda run into something and wouldn't have known beforehand that she was about to, her eyes were closed and she was crying
Torvil got up a few moments later and ran after her. He grabbed her again, and pulled her to him. He hugged her close. Even if she were to struggle he would hold her close. He buried his face into her shoulder. "I love you... Love of my life, my heart..." He kept a firm grip on her. Ala didn't struggle she simple stood in his grip crying, she was having a hard time stopping
Torvil brushed her back. "I'm sorry I didn't notice... I was wiped and I wasn't focused... I've been terrible haven't I?" He clenched her close. "Our Vows today are again consigned, and to the cliffs our blood is bonded. You and I, together, are one. First for unity... Second for love... Third for the mother of us all... Combined as one... You and I, forever wed, one." He kissed her forehead, and put his to hers. "And it's getting closer to 3 months" she whispered her crying slowing though not stopped
"I know..." He said softly. "I've been trying to keep track..." He said softly. "You do realize that mother married us again, when she made those braids... Started it anyways... I finished it..." He moved his hand to her face, and held them there. He moved it so she looked up into his face, noses touching. "I love you Ala. You are my everything. If I lost you, I would die..." He rested his forehead on hers again. "I've been a terrible husband I know... I'm going to fix that... From now on, I will be the best husband I can be..." His voice choked. "I can't lose you... I can't have you not love me..." Tears started to flow from his eyes again. His red mixing with her pink. Small sparks occurred when the two touched, falling to the ground as a bonded pair. "Seems there's much about the Dragonic side of me I don't know" she said quietly not meeting his eyes
Torvil brushed her hair. "I didn't know we would be coming back, or that you would exhibit such behavior..." He sniffled. "I will teach you though, if that is what you want... Love of my life..." He brushed her cheek with his hand. Ala stiffened when he said the 'exhibit such behavior' part of his words her eyes closed and she pursed her lips trying not to lash out at him for how she took what he said
Torvil felt her stiffen. "Sorry..." He said softly, his hand softly caressing her cheek. "I meant I didn't know you would start acting like our people..." He whispered softly. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." He touched her face lightly. "I did not mean to hurt your feelings..." "I'm like over 3/4 quarters Vampiric Dragon how did you think I was gonna act" she said shortly
Torvil sighed. "I don't know love... I really don't..." He hugged her to him. "But I see now... That I have a lot of things to make up to you... And I will, every single one..." He kissed her forehead. "Starting with the braids..." He touched her face softly. "You look wonderful with them love... Ravishing..." He kissed her gem. Ala relaxed a fair bit and rested her head on his chest, she really hated when the mood swings mixed with her normal moods "Thankyou" she said very quietly
Torvil touched them lightly. "Traditionally I'm supposed to take them apart before we consummate the marriage..." he said softly. Ala looked up at him not being completely sure what he meant
He smiled. "In other words... On our honeymoon, before we do it... I have to unbraid your hair..." Ala blinked "Ok..." she stared up at him, she'd finally stopped crying though her cheeks were still wet
Torvil leaned down and kissed her cheeks lightly. He was starting to grow deathly pale. Ala blinked and looked at him "you are pale" she said quietly "paler then normal even"
Torvil shook his head. "I'm fin..." His eyes fluttered shut, and his hold on her slacked completely as he fell back and hit the ground with a hard thud. "Oh no" she whispered as she knelt down beside him leaning forward she took a small breath and pressed her lips against his
Torvil shivered awake. "Don't burn yourself out on my account... This was my fault..." He shivered weakly. Ala pulled away looking down at him
Torvil looked up at her. "I didn't notice the braids... I should have... I really should have... This whole thing is my fault..." He closed his eyes. "I love you Ala... Shade of my heart... Light of my life... Keeper of my heart and soul..." "I love you too, but I don't understand how you not noticing them makes you passing out your fault" she said quietly
Torvil sighed. "I upset you... Which in turn upset me... I burned too much energy during then, and passed out..." He opened his eyes and lifted a hand to her weakly. "Another kiss... Please... I didn't get to taste the first..." Ala smiled softly and leaned down again giving him a soft kiss
Torvil purred and closed his eyes happily. He tried to lean up into the kiss but found that for now, he could barely move... Ala kissed him a little deeper closing her own eyes and not noticing anything else, including her own gem lightly glowing
Torvil felt more energy rushing into him slowly. He broke the kiss with a slight smile. "I hope you're alright... I don't want you passing out on me..." He chuckled weakly. Ala smiled softly and shifted her position so she could comfortably rest her head on his chest
Torvil brushed her hair, slowly undoing the braids. Ala relaxed, she didn't really care what they looked like right then if anyone was around, she felt weak as she lay there feeling him undoing the braids that were in her long hair
Torvil started to hum softly, getting the three braids back into separate braids instead of one large one. "Today I proclaim my love for you..." He whispered softly when it came undone, he began on the nearest braid. Ala nodded softly
Torvil got rid of that braid and whispered. "Today we are one, from now until forever..." Ala smiled softly
Torvil moved to the next one, deftly removing it. "Two souls, now one, I swear my blood to you..." Ala purred softly
Torvil smiled and moved to the final braid. He took his time removing this one though. For this one was the most important. Ala laid quietly on his chest a hand on her belly
Torvil finally removed it. "And now we are united, as one, forever, so too, are our hearts, and our blood. Our lives belong to each other, and as one, we shall raise our family. As one we will live out our lives to the end. I love thee, Alatariel, Alatariel Rakamash. Forever shall that name be yours... My name is yours... My heart is yours... My soul is yours... My blood is yours... We are one, so may Visha be witness..." "I am..." Came a soft female voice from nowhere. Ala smiled and opened her eyes looking at him, she heard the voice but it kinda felt like it was in the back of her mind as she listened to him speak
Torvil smiled, and brushed her hair. "I love you, love, wife, mother of my children, the woman who I came to love long before my first marriage collapsed into pain..." "I love you too Torvil, my husband, my first love and the father of my children" she said softly
Torvil brushed her hair and sat up slowly, pulling her into a kiss. Ala moved with him and closed her eyes as she returned his kiss
Torvil purred and stroked her hair as they kissed. " 'scuse me..." Came a child's voice.

Posted: Sun May 01, 2005 3:06 pmThe Marriage Braids ~ cont. Ala broke the kiss and looked towards the child's voice
The child was male, and dancing from one foot to the other. "SorrytobotheryoubutI'mkindalostanddon'tknowwheretogotogethome..." Ala blinked then caught up with his words "What's your name?" she asked him
"Jokar..." He said softly, looking at his feet, kicking a small rock then looking back up. Ala smiled "Then you are my sister-in-law's son, I think we can help you, I'm Ala and this is your uncle Torvil" she told him
Jokar giggled. "You were the people in grandma's rummage dump!" He jumped up and down excitedly. Torvil looked down at his hand. Ala burst out laughing "I guess you can say that" she said getting up
Jokar giggled. "But why haven't the babies come out yet?" He asked, moving over to touch her tummy. Torvil stood and smiled softly at the boy. They were so cute at this age... Ala smiled "Because I'm not completely Dragonic, and they are following the way of my kind" she told him
Jokar nodded and smiled. "Then you were not making babies in Grandma's rummage dump?" Torvil chuckled, and ruffled the boy's hair. Ala shook her head "No I've been with child for a while now" she said taking his hand "Lets get you home"
Jokar giggled and poked her tummy lightly with a finger. "Then what were you doing in Grandma's rummage dump?" Torvil just shook his head, trying very hard not to laugh as he led the way. "Dealing with an urge is what we were doing in your grandma and grandpa's rummage dump" she said
"Grandpa's back!" Jokar jumped up and down. Torvil chuckled and nodded. Ala chuckled and nodded, then she started walking towards the cliffs then looked at Torvil as they got closer "I don't feel like climbing up those couple of 'floors' lets take a shortcut" she said motioning for him to pick Jokar up
Torvil smiled and moved back to Ala. He picked up Jokar and opened his wings. Jokar gasped. "WINGS!" Ala let her own wings loose spread wide ready to lift her up
Torvil smiled and took to the air, flying the few short meters to his sister's home. Ala followed behind him landing after he did
Torvil smiled and put Jokar down. "Mommy! Mommy! Uncle Torvil and Aunty Ala have wings!" He called into the house as he ran. Ala chuckled and let her wings slide back into her body
Torvil did the same entering the cave. "Thank you for brining Jokar home Torvil..." Mikiri smiled, brushing the boys hair. "We were worried..." "He kinda found us actually" Ala said softly
Mikiri smiled. "Well thank you none the less..." She kissed the boy's cheek. "I'm sure he's happy to be home..." "Uh-huh..." The boy smiled. "I'm hungry momma!" Mikiri and Torvil laughed. Ala smiled looking a touch pale "Your dad is home too" she said quietly
Torvil moved over to her, and picked Ala up into his arms. Mikiri nodded. "I'll go visit him in a bit... Thanks... You look pale, you should rest..." Ala nodded softly and closed her eyes, she laid her head against him her wavy-from-the-braids hair partially covering her face
Torvil smiled and carried her to the guest room part of the cave, laying her down on the bed and crawling in next to her. Ala had passed out by the time he put her down
Torvil brushed her hair, and nuzzled her hair. His gem was glowing softly, casting a rose glow over her hair. it was a couple hours before she started to stir again and she no longer looked overly pale
Torvil's gem was still glowing, but it didn't look like he was giving up energy. Ala opened her eyes not totally sure where she was when she looked around then she looked towards him
Torvil brushed the side of her face, his gem winking out. "We're at Mikiri's." "I remember coming here to drop off Jokar... then it kinda goes blank" she mused as she moved to sit up
"You kinda passed out..." He said softly, brushing her hair, and moving his hand down her body to bump. "I think I used a touch too much energy" she said with a nod sitting next to him
Torvil nodded, and finding bump unharmed, pulled her close to him and nuzzled her hair. Ala smiled softly letting him nuzzle her feeling much more calm then when they were out walking earlier
Torvil brushed her hair. "It looks nice wavy..." Ala smiled "It's like that cause she braided it right after you left this morning and it stayed like that till you undid it"
Torvil nodded softly and nuzzled her hair again. "I'm sorry I didn't notice..." He moved his mouth to her ear. "I love you..." he whispered softly. "Sorry I blew up over it" she said quietly looking down
Torvil shook his head and put a finger under her chin, smiling softly. "I'm glad you did..." He kissed her softly. "Visha wed us... Mother wed us... we are wed forever and ever..." He purred happily and kissed her a bit deeper. Ala purred into the kiss as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders
Torvil purred happily and pulled her as close as bump allowed. Ala slowly broke the kiss "Your mom said you'd like the braid, I guess that's part of why I felt so upset when you didn't notice" she said quietly
Torvil brushed her hair. "I'm sorry I didn't... I really am... I feel so stupid..." he put his forehead to hers. "She was wrong though... I didn't like the braid..." He left a sufficient pause. "I loved it..." Ala smiled softly "I liked it, she didn't tell me it's significance though so I didn't know"
Torvil chuckled. "Trust mom to do that... I think she was giving me a less than subtle hint to teach you..." Ala chuckled "I suppose she may have been, especially since I think I gave her the impression I don't know all that much about this race"
Torvil chuckled. "You don't..." He blushed. "Oh lord... Did she ask you about..." He frowned. "Hoards..." Ala nodded "after I gave her a water crystal"
Torvil frowned. "Oh man..." He ran a hand down his face. "she was rather vague in her own answers on that one" she mumbled
Torvil nodded and brushed her hair. "Well what did she tell you?" "Not much really, just that showing someone your hoard is like showing them your body, then kept saying something about you not telling me... something" she sighed
Torvil hugged her close. "In terms outside the cave, it's a turn on... A quirky one yes... But a turn on..." Ala chuckled softly "You didn't even know I had one for quite a while... I knew about yours but I didn't really know the difference nor feel it at the time"
Torvil nodded and nuzzled her ear. "I'll gladly show you mine again when we get home if you'd like..." Ala chuckled "Fine by me" she purred softly and kissed his hand. Then rested her hand on her belly "Bump's hungry"
Torvil nodded. "Shall we feed bump, there's food on the tray." Ala nodded "Sounds like a plan" she said with a smile
Torvil smiled and rolled onto his side to watch her. He wasn't hungry right then. Ala reached and pulled the tray closer "Way to much here but oh well" she said and ate
Torvil nodded... off. He had been so tired from before and the current exertion had worn him down again. He was just sleeping however, and not passed out. Ala ate what she wanted then climbed off the bed leaving him to sleep and wandered out of the room
Mikiri was sitting at the table, Jokar on her lap. "Have fun?" Ala chuckled "You could say that" she said resting a hand on her belly "So you didn't tell your kids that they have family with wings huh"
Mikiri giggled. "It must have slipped my mind..." Ala shook her head "Well uhm, I imagine your parents really really busy having.. 'fun' right about now.... so I came out to ask since Torvil's already asleep having spent all his energy bringing your dad back,... and mine is kinda tapped from helping Torvil... well I was wondering if you mind if we spent the night.... we stayed at your parent's last night... "
Mikiri smiled. "Of course, My house is your house..." She brushed Jokar's hair. The little boy had fallen asleep on her lap. She smiled. "Oh, and just to fill you in. Stuff like this happens all the time. Next time don't worry about it, just stake out a room and sleep, its not like we're gonna kick you out." She smiled. "Dad did to Torvil a lot. But then, we all were blind followers of a stupid cult that did no one any good." She brushed Jokar's hair again and sighed. "Regardless... That doesn't excuse my actions when I was younger, and much more stupid." She kissed the sleeping boys hair and smiled softly. "I don't have to worry about losing my baby boy anymore... Thanks to the White hairs... They figured out how to stop the big predators from getting in..." She wiped her eye for a moment. "Oh dear... I must be bothering you with my boring rambling... I'm sure you want to go back to Torvil and rest..." She continued to brush the boys hair, a happy smile gracing her lips. Ala smiled "You aren't rambling Mikiri... You have a very sweet son, he made me laugh earlier when he was asking me about bump" she said
Mikiri giggled. "Full of questions little Jokar is..." She brushed his hair. "Yes, he can be very sweet. Why just yesterday he gave little Mindara a love flower..." She giggled. "Its this little red flower, the girl is supposed to wear it in her hair." She brushed his hair and then kissed it. "Why she did just that, and kissed him on the cheek to boot. Oh it was very cute. He ran back to me complaining about kooties..." She giggled and buried her face in his hair again, inhaling his scent. "Oh my sweet little Jokar..." She smiled, and brushed his hair. Ala chuckled "Vina was wearing one in her hair earlier before... well before I blew up at Torvil then Jokar found us a while after" she said sounding a little ashamed that she had blown up at her mate
Mikiri smiled at her. "It's okay to blow up every once and awhile... Sometimes they deserve it..." She smiled and nuzzled her son's hair. "And sometimes they don't... But in the end, they take the blame anyway... At least Torvil would..." She smiled softly. "Torvil would take the blame for anything if it made someone feel better, even if it wasn't remotely possible for him to have been at fault..." She smiled again, kissing Jokar's hair and again inhaling his scent. Ala nodded "Your mom braided my hair this morning while Torvil was out. I didn't know it's significance at the time but it was the first time I'd changed my appearance since I met him so I got mad that he didn't notice the change" she sighed
Mikiri nodded. "You had all right to blow up at him then..." She said softly. "I should boot his rear right out of here for that..." She said softly. "Marriage braids?" "That's what I got the impression they were from him later, 3 braids braided together in one" she told Mikiri
Mikiri nodded and stood, putting little Jokar down in the chair to sleep as she walked into the room Ala had just left a few minutes ago. There was the sound of struggle, and finally Mikiri came out of the room dragging Torvil by the foot. He seemed groggy and out of it. She tossed him out the door unceremoniously. "Dogs sleep outside!" Torvil looked up at his sister and tried to crawl back inside. "Mikiri...." Ala stared "You don't have to do that... we made up" she said quietly
"Oh..." Mikiri frowned. "My mistake..." He lifted up Torvil again and dragged him back to the room. Still not being at all gentle. Torvil smacked his head twice on the table when she dragged him past it. Ala stared at the floor as she passed her with her mate a second time
Mikiri came back out and picked up Jokar. "There, back where I found him... He'll have a headache or two in the morning, but nothing he didn't deserve..." She said softly, holding Jokar close to her shoulder. "One day I'll get used to things that are Dragonic, but even I didn't know the significance of those braids till he told me, then he unbraided them.... at the end I heard a voice I'd never heard before, one I don't really even know who was since we were alone" she looked back up at Mikiri
Mikiri blinked. "No way!" She shook her head. "Impossible... how could you have been sanctified by Visha... Torvil barely ever attended..." She shook her head. "No... wait, that's not true... Torvil wasn't allowed to attend..." She sighed. "Which would explain why he's not so religious now..." She sighed. "Oh well..." She shrugged. "You're lucky... Visha watches over your marriage..." She walked over to Ala and kissed her cheek softly. "Well I've got to go put Jokar to bed and join Malkar..." She blushed lightly. "I promised him once I put Jokar to bed he and I could have some us time..." Ala chuckled "You know your line is direct descendants don't you" she said moving back towards the room where Torvil was
Mikiri shook her head. "Well I'll be..." She smiled and giggled. "Malkar will be impressed." She turned and bowed with Jokar. "Well have a good night Ala... sleep well." Ala nodded "Good night Mikiri, see you in the morning" she said and disappeared into the room and crawled back into the bed and snuggled up to her mate feeling kinda bad about what Mikiri did
Torvil groaned. "Might I add..." He said softly. "That my sister has a very strong right cross... And she plugged me right in the eye..." He was very much awake at this point. "Sorry love, I didn't know she'd do that... I mentioned my blowup to her, next thing I know I'm watching her haul you past" she said quietly
Torvil chuckled weakly. "Not your fault... She was just looking out for ya..." He took her hand and kissed it. "Could you do me a favor though, love of my life, my dawn of the day that is life..." "What love?" she asked looking up at him
"Can you kiss my eye and make it feel better?" He said softly. "The left one..." he added with a whisper. "That is, only if you want..." Ala smiled and shifted her position so she reached it better and kissed it softly
Torvil purred. "Thank you darling love, core of my existence, light of my day..." He closed his eyes, well aside from his left, which was swollen shut. He pulled Ala to him and purred, slowly falling back asleep. "I love you" she said softly as she cuddled up against him closing her eyes ready to go to sleep and finish renewing her energy
Torvil smiled. "And I love you, Soul of my so..." And with that Torvil was gone. Ala smiled softly and dozed off

I hate being ignorant of customs and traditions of my husband's people. I may be mostly his kind now, but theres so much I still don't know. I didn't know what Mitizimi was doing with my hair, then I blew up at my mate when he didn't notice the changes...
I have to say I cannot wait for the mood swings to end.

Posted: Sun May 01, 2005 5:18 pmAla & Torvil return home & Jokar comes for a visit Torvil rolled over in bed, stretching out for the moment. He yawned and sat up slowly,. Ala sat on the bed waiting for him to wake and looked over at him with a smile as he sat up
Torvil smiled. "Hey..." He rubbed his eyes. "How long was I out?" "Long enough for your swollen eye to mostly heal itself and leave a pretty shiner behind" she said quietly
Torvil touched his once swollen eye and winced. "You said she had a strong right cross, I think I have to agree" she said
Torvil nodded and shook his head, flopping back down on the bed with a sigh. He smiled at her though. "Now it's starting to sting..." "Sorry love" she said quietly looking away from him, her hair was still wavy from the night before
Torvil smiled. "Wasn't your fault..." He reached out and pulled her to him, his fingers instantly going to her hair. "I feel like it was my fault, after all... I'm the one who told Mikiri about my blow-up" she sighed
Torvil shook his head and buried his face into her hair, inhaling her scent. "Mmmm..." Ala sighed and looked up "well I did" she said quietly
Torvil shrugged. "Mikiri goes overboard like that... It's not your fault..." Ala sighed and nodded "Okay, if you say so"
"I forgive you if it makes you feel better..." He said softly, kissing her hair and inhaling her scent again. Ala laughed "Are you having fun smelling my hair? Mikiri was doing that with Jokar a lot last night" she said looking over her shoulder
Torvil chuckled. "Your hair smells nice love, and so do you..." He purred softly, nuzzling her hair. Ala chuckled "Thanks love... I'm hungry" she said
Torvil smiled. "Then go get something to eat, there should be food in the kitchen..." He smirked. "I'm kinda too tired to get up..." Ala nodded "I'll be back" she said climbing off the bed and heading for the door
"Take your time..." Torvil purred. Ala pulled the door open and walked into the living area where she had been the night before looking around not entirely sure where the kitchen was
Mikiri stuck her head out, Jokar skittering out from her grip. "Oh hey Ala... Hungry?" Ala nodded "Yeah I am actually"
Mikiri nodded and moved into the kitchen. Jokar skittered over to Ala and gently poked at her tummy again. Ala chuckled and knelt down next to the boy "Sleep well Jokar?" she asked with a grin that showed off her few pointy teeth
Jokar grinned. "Yes'm..." He nodded his head quickly. "I slept real good..." Ala smiled "That's good to hear, sleep is important for growing boys, some with exercise and eating"
Jokar smiled. "Why haven't you had the baby yet?" He asked out of the blue. "Is it okay?" Ala laughed "I'm not totally Dragonic hun, baby is following the way of my Kerrsalian side" she nodded "and yes bump is ok"
Jokar nodded and smiled, giving Ala a hug and then running back off to his mother. Ala smiled returning his hug then stood up and walked towards Mikiri's kitchen a hand on her belly as she walked
Mikiri finished up just as Ala entered. "Go ahead and get a seat... How's Vil doing?" Ala looked at the large table and chuckled "I have to get used to the fact all you guys have tall furniture.... as for Torvil.. he's resting and nursing the black eye you gave him last night"
Mikiri smirked. "Only a black eye... darn..." She of course was joking, she did feel bad about hurting him the night before due to the misunderstanding on her part. Ala chuckled "Yeah only a black eye." she sighed climbing up to the table. "I hate mood swings, and that's part of what caused my blowup last night"
Mikiri just nodded. "I wouldn't know... The only time I get moody is around that time of the month... And ohhhh that is blissfully short..." Ala chuckled "Comes with longer pregnancies I suppose, not that I'd really know this is the first time I've had kids that lasted more then one day."
Mikiri nodded and put the plate down in front of ala. It looked like a sort of meat paste. "Please take no offence to this but your mom already gave me something that had strange effects on me and bump... what is this?" she asked picking up a utensil
Mikiri giggled. "It's just plain old meat paste..." "Ok, long as there ain't any oysters in it I'm happy" she said "Those things made bump go bonkers" she chuckled
Mikiri giggled. "And probably Torvil and yourself too I bet..." Ala laughed "Him more so... he hate a lot more of them.. like his entire plate, mom's entire plate and some of my plate"
Mikiri let out a long whistle. "Did he like pounce you on the table or what?" "He tried.... " she smirked as she ate "Course mom went out for a ... while... and we kinda retreated to a backroom, I'd have to say though losing one's lunch kinda kills the mood too"
Mikiri nodded. "I would hope that, that changes." Ala nods "I'm hoping it stops, does for some women, for others it's worse then even I get." she sighed "This has been one of those 'don't tell Ala till later' weekends.... first the oysters... then the braids... I guess I'll figure it out at some point"
Mikiri nodded. "Yes... I'm sure you will..." Ala sat silently eating the food Mikiri had given her after a few minutes she looked up "Was Jokar the only child of your clutch?"
Mikiri shook her head. "Good heaven's no... They're all running about... all six of them.." "Kinda had me wondering since I've only met Jokar, didn't think he could be, not with how things work with ... we... conceiving as a Dragonic couple" she chuckled
Mikiri nodded. "Jokar likes to be around the cave though... The others are all out playing..." She smiled softly. "He's his mother's son..." Ala nodded "Selene liked to hang around me a lot too, but they both grew and now I have no kids at home cept bump"
Mikiri smiled softly. Ala pushed the plate away having eaten her fill "Thanks" she said with a nod
Mikiri nodded and took it away, putting it on the counter for someone else. Ala sighed lightly "I need a little fresh air" she said climbing off the table
Mikiri nodded. "Alright... Do you want me to get Torvil up?" "If you want, I'll be outside" she told her and headed for the entrance of the cave letting her wings loose as she walked and gliding into the air as she stepped off the edge of the cliff outside the entrance
Torvil had seen her leave, having gotten up to find her. He walked out of the cave and flew after her. Ala flew rather lazily, she had no destination, just wanted fresh air, she flew higher into the air and eventually landed atop the cliffs looking out over the horizon
Torvil landed behind her. Ala smiled staring out over the horizon, it really was a lovely view from atop the cliffs
Torvil hugged her tight from behind. Ala looked over her shoulder and smiled "Hi love, Mikiri get you up?" she asked before looking back over the horizon
Torvil shook his head. "Nah..." Ala smiled "I just wanted some fresh air" she said resting her hands on his
Torvil nodded and moved his hands to her belly. "Well I like it out here..." Ala smiled softly "It's a lovely view, I can see why Vina was looking forward to coming up here with that young man to watch the sunset and moon rise"
Torvil smiled. "I used to come up here... Dad never bothered..." "Never looked up here for you huh" she asked softly leaning against him
Torvil nodded. "Not once..." He purred. "Oh you big baby... The light isn't that bad..." Vina's voice was heard. "But it hurts! I swear! My eyes!" A strange male voice echoed Ala chuckled softly "Sounds like we may yet meet Vina's bo" she said quietly
Vina was dragging the poor Drow through the air and onto the ground. "Then you should of worn a blindfold you baby!" "But you said it made me look dorky!" Joman whined. "Well it did!" Vina huffed and flapped her wings. "MAKE UP YOUR MIND!" "Could always shield his eye with your wings Vina" Ala said looking in her direction
Vina stiffened. "Oh... You two are up here too..." She pointed her fingers together. Joman too stiffened. "Uhhh... I'm fine..." Torvil burst out laughing. Ala chuckled "Yes daughter, we are. I presume this would be Joman" she said smiling
Vina nodded, a blush rising on her face. "Your parents?" he asked Vina. She nodded again. He bowed. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Joman Daggerdancer, son of the Duke of the Undercaverns..." Ala moved to stand up a bit and pull slightly away from Torvil "I'm Ala and this is my mate Torvil" she introduced the two of them "It is nice to meet you Joman"
Joman smiled. "I see you are with child... I am sure it shall be as ravishing as your daughter..." he moved forward and took Ala's hand, kissing her hand. "I see she inherited her looks from her mother..." Ala blushed slightly and looked from Joman to Vina to Torvil not exactly sure how to correct what had been assumed
Torvil smiled. "Her mother would be quite pleased to hear that, unfortunately she is not present... Ala however is quite flattered." Ala looked gratefully at Torvil the looked back to Joman and nodded
Joman smiled softly. "I apologize for my verbal mis-step... I assumed that you were her birth mother... The similarity between your beauty is astounding..." "Th-thankyou" she stammered unused to anyone besides her mate complimenting her in such ways.
Torvil watched Joman warily. "Joman..." "Yes sir?" Joman looked up innocently. "Cut it out..." He said flatly. "Yes-sir..." Ala's gaze at Joman shifted and she looked over at Vina with a smile "Now I see why he makes you blush so much"
Vina nodded blushing fiercely. Joman smiled softly. Torvil smirked and lifted Joman up by he shirt collar and put him next to Vina. "Alright you two... When you get married?" Vina stared. "WHAT?!" Ala burst out laughing "Or for that matter giving us more grandkids" she winked at Torvil
Vina blushed and kicked the ground. Joman bowed. "I was waiting till I could ask you..." "Bull... You're both wearing rings.." Vina blushed hotly. Ala giggled a lot "Soo when?"
"Yesterday..." She murmured blushing fiercely. Torvil smiled. "Well now... Grandkids then..." "I don't know... When we're ready... Joman wants to be able to run around top side all day before then..." Ala smirked "But can you you wait that long Vina"
Vina nodded. "I want to... Sides..." She blushed. "We... Can't seem to get pregnant..." Torvil nodded. "Not surprising, you came from a dead womb..." Ala smiled softly "You'll figure out a way hun..."
Vina nodded. "I know mom, I know..." Torvil smiled. "Well Ala, should we leave these two love birds to their new perch?" Ala nodded and gave Vina a little hug "Have fun you two" she said turning back towards the front of the cliffs, spreading her wings and gliding off
Torvil gave a bow and flew off after her, a soft smile on his face. Ala looked over her shoulder and waited for him to catch up "So shall we check on your parents? I wouldn't mind seeing your father in person.... besides I left my cracker pouch there"
Torvil nodded. "Aye, lets go visit..." Ala smiled and changed course "just no crevices this time" she winked at him
Torvil laughed and flew. "Nah this time I think we'll just use the middle of the path..." Ala shook her head laughing "Might as well have, your mother could hear us from inside her home" she said before landing outside the entrance to the cave
Torvil chuckled and entered after he landed. The house was quite. "Mom? Dad?" Ala followed him in not bothering to fold her wings
There was a tumbling noise from the bedroom and Torvil approached cautiously. There was a crash of two bodies hitting the floor and what sounded like a mad scramble. Ala chuckled and stopped in the living room picking up her pouch and eating some of them
Korvil and Mitizimi came out each covered only by a blanket, and barely at that. "uhhhh..." Korvil said. Torvil burst out laughing. Ala giggled "Ok somehow I have a feeling neither of you slept last night"
Korvil chuckled. "No I do not think we did... Wait... It's morning!" "Try afternoon father..." Korvil's eyes widened. "Mid afternoon at that" Ala said wagging a cracker at them
Mitizimi blushed. "We must have lost track of the time..." "And had some really good fun in the meanwhile..." Torvil chuckled. Korvil chuckled. "You could say that..." "I could say that, Torvil could likely smell that, my sense of smell is completely muddled thanks to Bump... " Ala smiled
Korvil smiled. "Well I'm sure you two have places to go..." "I get it dad... We'll be heading back to Mikiri's and leave on the morrow... I'll see ya alright..." "Alright..." "Enjoy yourselves..." Ala said with a smirk "I don't think you two need oysters"
Mitizimi blushed and Korvil laughed. Torvil smiled and walked away from them, offering Ala his arm. Ala giggled and took her mate's arm as they headed for the entrance
Torvil scooped her up and carried her out, walking for Mikiri's. "I'm proud of you" she said quietly
Torvil smiled softly. "Why's that?" "Last time you were around him you were very nervous. I know he repented, but...." she looked at him
Torvil smiled. "It's hard to fear a man you know you interrupted in the middle of getting..." Ala chuckled "I don't think you woulda said that when you were younger"
Torvil chuckled. "I would have hightailed my a** out..." "Yeah I can guess cause he probably would kicked you out...." she shook her head
"Or tore me a new one... Literally..." Ala nodded "He's changed a lot hasn't he"
Torvil nodded, entering Mikiri's cave and heading for the guest room. Her cave too was silent. "This is the longest we've ever stayed here" she mused
Torvil nodded. "Yeah I know... We'll leave morrow... Too late in the day today..." he smiled entering the guest room. He saw Jokar on their bed, humming softly and playing with a stuffed Dragon that looked handmade. Ala looked at the young man "Hello Jokar" she said smiling her tail moved lazily beneath her and her wings rested lazily against her back and Torvil's arm
Jokar smiled. "Daddy came home from work, and he din' look all that hot and mommy said that he should tell her 'bout it so they went to their bedroom but I know that they're not talking cause whenever they go to their bedroom they just make babies or sleep and its too early to sleep so their making babies and I don't want to bother them so I thought I'd wait for Aunty Ala and Uncle 'Vil come back and cuddle with me, cause I'm lonely and they're cool..." He let out in one breath, Ala chuckled "I don't see a problem with it" she looked at Torvil
Torvil smiled and gave Ala a 'I kinda had other plans but you know what screw em' look and nodded his head. Jokar smiled and sat on the bed until Torvil put Ala down. Then he hugged Ala tightly and lay his head on her shoulder. Ala chuckled and let her wings slide into her body as she put her arm around her nephew "You like closeness don't you Jokar"
Jokar nodded. "I like cuddles..." He said simply. Torvil smiled and sat down on the bed too, cuddling with the two. Jokar reached out and touched bump softly. "When's it gonna be born?" Ala smiled at him "I don't really know Jokar, but it's going to be a while yet, it's not ready"
Jokar nodded and smiled softly, patting her belly softly. "What's it feel like?" "It feels unique" she said and took the boy's hand placing it on her belly and held it there till bump moved
Jokar giggled. "It moved!" Ala nodded "That it did" she said moving her hand off his "Bump likes to move around in there"
Jokar nodded and cuddled up against Ala and closed his eyes, falling asleep against her. Ala smiled at him and looked at Torvil "Imagine, we'll do this with our own in the future" she said quietly
Torvil nodded and smiled, brushing his hair. "Shall we join him? I'm a bit tired myself..." He yawned lightly. Ala nodded and moved to lay down, the boy moved with her since she had her arm around him "I'm not overly tired, but I'll get there" she said with a soft smile
Torvil nodded and cuddled with Ala, the boy between them. He shut his eyes, and rested, not really falling asleep, but not really staying awake either. Ala closed her eyes relaxing, she ran her fingers through Jokar's hair once then stopped
Torvil was woken rudely by Jokar, who was bouncing on the bed. "Wake-up! Wake up!" Ala's eyes shot open "What time is it" she mumbled sitting up
Jokar giggled. "It's morning!" Ala chuckled and reached towards the boy ruffling his hair "Ok we're up Jokar hun"
Jokar giggled and sat down. "You have to leave tho..." He pouted. Ala smiled softly "We can't stay here forever sweetie, we have a shop to run back at home"
Jokar sniffled. "But I dun want you to leave..." Ala smiled at him and reached pulling him close beside her for a hug
Jokar clung to her. "I want my aunty and uncle to stay..." He started to cry. Ala held him and looked over his head at her mate she'd never had anyone want her to stay as much as Jokar did with the exception of Torvil
Torvil frowned softly and sighed. "You want to ask your mom if you can stay with us a few days?" Ala smiled softly and looked down at her nephew
Jokar nodded. Ala let him go "Then you better go do that then" she said
Jokar got off the bed and fled. Ala chuckled "That was sweet of you... think she'll let him? after all even she hasn't left the cliffs before"
Torvil nodded. "I think she will..." "YAY!" Came the loud cry from Mikiri's room. Ala chuckled both at her mate and the loud cry she heard
Torvil smiled as the boy ran in. "She said yes!" Ala nodded "We heard from your happy cheer"
Jokar giggled. "Lets go! Lets go!" "Hey now lets have some breakfast first, I need energy before I travel that far" she said chuckling and climbing off the bed
"Otay..." Jokar pouted. Torvil laughed and got out of bed. Ala shook her head and headed out of the room taking Jokar with her
Jokar sat at the table, waiting Ala looked around the kitchen "Hmm I wouldn't have a clue where to start... perhaps your uncle will" she mused
Torvil moved in, and grabbed some of the meat paste that had been put under ice. Ala chuckled "Well at least one of us knows something about these places"
Torvil chuckled and lay it out for her. Ala nodded listening to what he said
Torvil smiled. "Hurry up, we have a long flight ahead..." Ala nodded and ate, it didn't take long to finish since she didn't tend to eat much
Torvil smiled and scooped her up. "Come on Jokar..." He smiled putting him atop Ala. Ala chuckled and made sure she had her pouch "just be sure not to sit on bump ok Jokar?"
Jokar nodded, moving so he wouldn't. Ala relaxed and pulled some crackers out to munch on
Jokar giggled as they took to the air. "Where we are going is quite a ways from the cliffs Jokar so it's going to take a while to get there" she smiled
Jokar nodded. "Okay..." He cuddled up against Ala for the ride. Ala chuckled and held onto him
Jokar soon fell asleep. Torvil landed at their home at the end of the day. Ala by then had also dozed off
Torvil smiled and opened the door to their house with his foot, laying the two down on the bed when he got there. Ala stirred and woke up with a yawn as she was put down
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair. Ala opened her eyes "Home?" she asked stretching
Torvil nodded. "Good" she said sitting up "I'm gonna take a shower" she said kissing him on the cheek
Torvil chuckled and moved Jokar for her, his thumb was in his mouth. Ala chuckled and got up heading for the bathroom dropping her pouch on the way past the chair and closing the door behind her. Soon the sound of running water was heard
Torvil smiled and sat on the bed, stroking Jokar's hair. Ala came out a little while later wrapped in her kimono robe her eyes were green as she pushed the water from her hair
Torvil smiled, and Jokar yawned. "We there yet?" Ala chuckled "We arrived a little while ago hun"
Jokar sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Oh..." He looked up at Torvil. "This you're cave? It looks funny..." Ala smiled "It's a house, it's built out of wood"
"House? What's a house?" Jokar asked wide eyed. "Come-on I'll show you" she said holding her hand out to Jokar
Jokar giggled and took her hand. Ala led him off the bed and through the house and then outside
Jokar stared. "We're on the ground!" Ala nodded and took his shoulders turning him around "That's a house, it's where Torvil and I live"
Stardust wandered through he yard about then, not aiming to head for Ala and the boy... just walking
Jokar saw Star, he clung to Ala. "WHAT'S THAT!" Ala chuckled "That's just a Balan Levain she wont hurt you, she's like my pet, I care for her, there's a few of them around here that's what our shop does, finds homes for them"
Jokar nodded slowly. "Can I... Pet her?" "Sure" she said and called Star over. Star smiled up at the boy Hello she said calmly
Jokar gasped. "It can talk... In my head!" Ala chuckled "Yes, that's how they communicate, go ahead you can pet her she wont hurt you"
Star sat and looked at the boy with a smile
Jokar giggled and moved forward, petting her softly. Star purred softly as the boy pet her, her wings ruffled contently
Jokar smiled and kept petting her for awhile, then gave her a tight hug and walked back to Ala. Ala smiled glad the boy got over his fright, especially since Star wasn't the only Balan around
Jokar smiled and hugged her legs. "Can we go see what uncle is doing?" "Course" she motioned to the house "After you Jokar"
Jokar smiled and ran for the house. Ala laughed and followed after him back into the house
Torvil sat on the couch, having been attacked by Jokar, who as currently hugging him tight around the neck Ala chuckled and leaned against the doorframe of the living room "He just met Star"
Torvil smiled. "That's nice..." Jokar giggled and let go. "She was nice!" Ala smiled and nodded "So what are we doing this evening besides possibly eating" she said walking over to a lamp and turning it on since it was starting to get dark
Torvil chuckled. "I don't know love..." Ala chuckled and shook her head
Torvil smiled. "Well shall we ask Jokar?" He looked down at the boy... He was asleep again. Ala laughed "Silly boy" she said and headed for the kitchen
Torvil smiled and brushed the boys hair, following. Ala was staring in the fridge debating what to make to eat
Torvil smiled and leaned on the door frame "What do you suggest... " she asked looking over her shoulder
Torvil chuckled. "Well we have some steaks..." Ala nodded and dug into the back of the fridge for the package of steaks "Something Jokar should be used to for the most part" she said with a chuckle
Torvil smiled. "If he wakes up in time to eat..." Ala laughed and nodded putting the package on the container and pulling it open
Torvil smiled and stayed against the doorframe "How should I prepare them today" she said tapping her chin since there were several ways she could do them, none of which would take long since they were rarely ever cooked more then heating them up
Torvil chuckled. "Grill em, broil em... Ell eat em raw..." Ala laughed "yeah could be about anything" she said reaching into the lower cupboard pulling out the indoor bbq
Torvil chuckled and moved to the table, sitting down. Ala dealt with the steaks and then brought them to the table, they were seared enough that the juices stayed within the meat but not enough to cook them through
Torvil smiled. "mmm..." And grabbing some utensils began to eat. Jokar had wandered to the doorway. "Food?" He asked, rubbing his eyes,. "Yup come take a seat" she said motioning one of the 3 empty chairs
Jokar nodded and did so with a small smile. "I like your house..." "Thankyou Jokar, Torvil built it" she said between bites
Jokar looked to Torvil. "Really!?" Torvil chuckled. "Really..." Ala smiled and nodded as she ate till she had her fill
Torvil smiled at his wife. "How's bump holding out?" "Bump seems to be fairing well today love" she said pushing away her plate
Torvil nodded and Jokar smiled. "Uh... Where am I going to sleep..." He poked his index fingers together. Ala chuckled "I think Torvin's room is still sorta set up for sleeping dragons" she said looking to her mate for confirmation
Torvil nodded. "Yeah... Kinda..." He chuckled. "All that's left is his bed... I built a new one in the village I believe..." "Well a bed is a good place to start" Ala said with a smile
Jokar nodded and giggled. "Thank you uncle Torvil and Aunty Ala..." "Of course Jokar" she said getting up and taking any dirty dishes to the sink and turned on the water to wash them
Torvil smiled and picked up Jokar. "I'm going to put him to bed, it's rather late." "Awww... Do I have ta!" Ala laughed "Lots of time to explore things tomorrow Jokar, and Aunty and Uncle wants some us time"
Jokar pouted, his lower lip quivering. "But... but..." Torvil chuckled and patted his face. "Uncle Torvil will take you out hunting morrow how's that?" "Okay!" Jokar grinned forgetting all about his complaints Ala laughed and turned back to the sink working on cleanup
Torvil went and tucked Jokar in bed, returning after the fact. Ala hummed softly to herself as she finished up
Torvil smiled from the door. "Hey there sexy..." Ala giggled and turned around to face him "Hey there yourself..."
Torvil purred and walked over to her slowly, more of a saunter than anything else. Ala waited for him to reach her a smirk playing on her lips
Torvil smiled and reached her, his hand going for her hair. Ala purred softly looking into his eyes
Torvil smiled his hand brushing her hair, as he moved in for a kiss. Ala closed her eyes meeting his kiss and wrapping her arms around his waist
Torvil held the kiss for a bit and then broke it. "We should head to bed... you and bump need rest, and Jokar is going to be a bouncy ball of energy morrow." Ala nodded "Yeah I suppose I should" she said standing up
Torvil walked over to her and swept her up, walking for the bedroom. Ala closed her eyes and rested her head against his chest
Torvil walked them back to their room, and lay her down on the bed. He quickly joined her in it. Ala was exhausted and it was obvious since she was already asleep by the time he put her down
Torvil smiled and cuddled up next to her, covering them up with the blanket and kissing her cheek. "Good night my Queen..." He purred. Ala instinctively cuddled closer
Torvil purred and slowly fell asleep.

Not that Ala weighs that much, even with bump but... Man, Jokar must be about ready to gow again because he really weighed a ton. But it's good to have a kid in the house again... At least for a little while, until bump is born...

Posted: Mon May 02, 2005 6:48 pmThe hunt & Anniversary Ala puttered around the kitchen the next morning she was making a decent meal for Torvil and Jokar to eat before they left for the day to go hunting. she hummed contently to herself as she worked
Jokar was poking Torvil in the head. "Come on Uncle! Get up!" Torvil slowly opened his eyes. Ala hummed bringing two plates of meat to the table both cooked the same way as the night before, seared just enough to hold the juices in but not cooked through before turning and heading for the cupboard to find what she was craving....
Torvil and Jokar came out and sat down, both of them wolfing the food down. Ala heard them eating and glanced at them with a smile as she cooked some oats with spices
Torvil chuckled. "Interesting choice there love..." Ala shrugged "What I wanted to have" she said with a smile before serving herself adding brown sugar and moving to sit at the table
Torvil nodded. "Your cravings love..." He stood when finished. "Come along Jokar..." Jokar nodded and got up as well. Ala waved her spoon bye-bye at them since her mouth was full
Torvil smiled and waved back, heading out the door, whistling. Ala worked around the house for a while then got changed and left the house. walking along a familiar path till she reached her destination
Torvil and Jokar spent the bulk of the day hunting, returning to the house with several dear and a wolf to their name. Ala wasn't at the house when the two arrived back to the house
Torvil cleaned the kills and put up the meat, not really worrying about Ala right then. By the time the kills were dealt with Ala still hadn't returned
Torvil tapped his chin. "She's probably at the special place." He said to himself, starting to make dinner. Ala was indeed, she spent a good part of the day sitting on the hill thinking and at that moment was swimming in the water, her eyes fully green she stayed under it's surface for chunks of time simply relaxing. At first glance it might appear to someone that no one was there but had left their robe behind as she sat in the bottom of the spring
Torvil finished dinner and started to eat. "Perhaps I should go check on her soon... She's missing dinner..." Jokar shrugged. Ala was paying no attention to the time as she swam as she spent most of the time in the water... under it
Torvil finished dinner and told Jokar to stay put, heading down the path to find her. Ala headed to the bottom of the spring around the time he was about to reach the crest of the hill overlooking the spring
Torvil took a quick look around and saw her robe. He headed for the spring, at a brisk walk. Ala was collecting a few neat stones she found at the bottom, some of them had a shine to them
Torvil sat down at the edge of the stream. Ala surfaced facing the falls looking at the stones in her hand with a smile
"Find some shinnies?" Torvil chuckled. Ala started and spun around not realizing he was there her hand closing over her stones "I didn't know you were here" she said seeing him with her green eyes
Torvil chuckled. "Just got here..." He smiled. "And don't worry, I won't try and take the shinnies..." Ala blushed and moved for the shallows
Torvil chuckled. "You're very pretty when you blush you know that?" Ala chuckled and walked out of the shallows the water dripping down her body from her wet hair
Torvil smiled. "And you look great wet..." Ala laughed and sat down beside him "Where's Jokar?"
"Home... I told him to stay put... He's playing in Torvin's room. Ala nodded "Didn't think anyone would come looking for me" she said
"You missed dinner so I got a bit worried..." Ala blinked and looked up "Geesh I didn't even realize it was that late" she said then got up walking over to pick up her robe, she put her stones in it's pocket as she pulled it on over her swimsuit
Torvil purred and moved, picking her up. "Then lets get you and bump fed..." Ala nodded "Sounds like an idea, I've been here all day" she chuckled
Torvil smiled and started to run. Ala laughed as she bounced a bit in his arms as he ran, her eyes returned to their normal color
Torvil purred and walked into their home. Ala smiled cuddling against him in his arms
Torvil purred and put her down at the table. Ala leaned on the table looking up at him
Torvil smiled and brought her some of the meat, that by some marvel was still warm "Thanks love" she said as she started to eat
Torvil smiled and leaned back, listening to Jokar play "Sounds like he's having fun... did you two have a good hunt?" she asked
Torvil nodded. "That would be one of our prey." he smiled, pointing at her plate. "Nice catch" she said and turned her attention to the meat finishing it up
Torvil smiled. "Jokar got that one... He's a little brute!" Ala laughed "Sounds like a good hunter"
Torvil nodded. "He'll probably become one..." Ala nodded "Would suit him"
Torvil smiled. "Seeing as his family is full of them... yes.." Ala chuckled "It'll be interesting for Mikiri I'm sure,.... Used to seeing her children grow and she's missing a whole week or so of this one... think he'll ever become a winged?"
Torvil chuckled. "I doubt it..." "why not?" she asked
Torvil chuckled. "Because, he doesn't seem to be..." "Be what hun?" she asked blinking
"Winged... He'd be getting rather close..." Ala nodded slowly "You never know love, I doubt you ever expected me to be one, and neither of us knew whether to expect it of the twins"
Torvil nodded. "It'd be a very lucky event if he did..." He chuckled and brushed her hair, listening to the boy crawl into bed and continue playing Ala nodded "Ya never know what will happen. Life can hold many twists and turns... just look at me... " she said pointing at herself with the tip of her spaded tail
Torvil chuckled. "Good point there love... Good point there..." Ala smirked and stood up "I doubt when you married me you expected me to become as much of a dragon as I have" she said looking at him
Torvil purred. "I was overjoyed though..." He moved to her and scooped her up, heading for their room, the sounds from Torvin's room had ceased Ala laughed "Our room was my destination I have stuff to add... to my you know what" she blushed lightly
Torvil chuckled. "Alright love..." Ala blushed a little more at his chuckle she'd still not gotten used to the fact that he knew she had been collecting things
Torvil purred and put her down on the bed, reaching under the bed and handing her her box Ala laughed, "Thanks love" she said taking it and after a moment opening is and reaching in her pocket pulling the few stones out and dropping them in
Torvil smiled and flopped down on the bed next to her. Ala stared at her little collection for a moment then closed the lid and looked at him
Torvil smiled and waved at her. "Waving at me now?" she said with a giggle
Torvil chuckled and lay on his back. "Sure..." Ala laughed and put the box on the floor pushing it under with her foot "What's Jokar doing? he's awful quiet"
Torvil smirked. "I think he fell asleep...." "I still think anything is possible. how old is he now anyways I never did get around to asking Mikiri...." she mused
"I would guess a few days... at most..." Ala chuckled "Surprised a woman who has never once left the cliffs let her son who is barely a few days old leave"
Torvil chuckled. "She's changed..." "Will be the day that she ever leaves though I would imagine" Ala flopped backwards laying on the bed beside him
Torvil shrugged. "I don't know love... I really don't. Ala closed her eyes and nodded
Torvil sighed and yawned. "Tired?" she mumbled
Torvil shrugged. "Not really... Bored out of my skull..." "Oh..." Ala said simply
Torvil chuckled and turned his head towards her, eyes still closed. "I feel like cuddling..." "Then cuddle" she said softly
Torvil rolled over and hugged her around the waist, burring his face into her hair. Ala smiled softly and purred just as softly
Torvil smiled and matched her purr with one of his own. "I love you" she said softly
Torvil smiled. "I love you too." Ala smiled softly opening her eyes and looking at him
Torvil smiled and leaned in slowly, kissing her nose. Ala chuckled kissing his chin
Torvil purred and finally pulled her into a normal kiss. Ala purred, returning his kiss happily
Torvil purred and broke the kiss slowly, nuzzling her face softly. "Love you" she whispered as he nuzzled her
Torvil purred. "Love you too..." Ala purred softly closing her eyes again cuddling him
Torvil purred and cuddled with her happily. "What are we going to do this evening besides cuddle?" she asked softly
Torvil chuckled. "I don't know..." Ala nodded trying to think of something to do herself
Torvil nuzzled her softly. Ala purred softly and gave up she couldn't think of anything to do right then
"Lets see... We could eat... Talk?" "We could talk, got any topic suggestions?" she asked opening an eye
Torvil chuckled. "Not a one..." "Well we just ate so that one is out...." she sighed and opened her second eye and looked up at the ceiling
Torvil chuckled softly. "Well, let us talk of bump..." Ala nodded "Ok.. Uhmmmm" she wasn't sure where to start talking
Torvil smiled. "How long do you figure till bump joins us outside of you..." Ala shook her head "I don't really know, it's so hard to even guess with 2 types of heritages so very different"
Torvil nodded slowly. "Well hopefully soon..." He chuckled, rubbing her tummy. Ala looked down at her belly "I have a feeling it's got a fair amount more to grow" she mused
Torvil nodded slowly. "Which is fine... But for me... Sooner is better... I wanna hold the little one..." He smiled softly Ala nodded "Same here" she agreed
Torvil brushed her hair and smiled. "I wonder thought, are we ready for such a long haul..." "I'll love and care for this child no matter how long it takes them to grow up" she said quietly
Torvil nodded. "Same here love... Same here..." Ala looked over at him with a smile
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair. Ala wasn't entirely sure what to talk about so she simply smiled at him
Torvil smiled and kissed her nose again. "You're so pretty..." "Thankyou Torvil my love" she said
Torvil smiled, and kissed her cheek. Ala cuddled closer letting herself drift off
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair Ala fell sleep against him tiredly
Torvil closed his eyes listening to her sleep. Ala slept softly against him a small smile resided on her face
Torvil smiled and watched her sleep for a time. Ala stirred and woke a while later
Torvil smiled. "Good sleep?" Ala nodded "I just felt tired" she said
Torvil nodded and brushed her hair. "That's okay" Ala smiled "You really did startle me earlier" she said softly
Torvil chuckled, and nuzzled her. "Wasn't my intent..." "Was much lower in the water till I surfaced" she said with a nod
Torvil chuckled. "I noticed..." "Oh" she said looking down
Torvil smiled, and kissed her forehead. "Hey, as long as you were having fun..." "looking at .... shiny stuff..." she mumbled
Torvil smiled softly. "Love... I like shinnies too..." He nuzzled her forehead. Ala nodded "I know.... I'm just not used to the fact that I do... and that I've told anyone"
Torvil smiled. "You know what drives me up the wall..." He said softly, feeling a hot flush of a blush starting to build up on his face. "Tin foil..." Ala looked at him "Tin foil?" she blinked
Torvil nodded. "It's so shiny and glittery in any sort of light..." He said softly. Ala chuckled "I can only imagine"
Torvil nuzzled her softly. "I haven't found anything that makes me feel that way about it... but I kinda got into make the crystals" she said quietly
Torvil smiled. "It's nothing to be embarrassed about..." Ala nodded slowly "Still not used tot he fact I've told ... well.... anyone.... you or your mother..."
Torvil chuckled. "Hell, everybody does it love... We show our lovers, and well... Stuff happens..." He chuckled. Ala nodded staring at his chest
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair, then leaned in and kissed her forehead. Ala smiled softly when he kissed her head
Torvil brushed her cheek. "I'm taking Jokar home tomorrow... Will you fare okay alone?" Ala nodded "Yeah, I'll probably clean house and shop then go to the spring again"
Torvil nodded and smiled. "Okay... I sensed that he was starting to grow bored of the novelty here and wanted to go home..." "He probably misses his mom, she says he spends most of his time in the cave with her" Ala mused
Torvil nodded. "That too... He kept asking if we can bring the wolf back to his mother..." He chuckled. "I told him all but the meat... That's what we had for dinner..." Ala chuckled "So he's taking the pelt back then"
"And the teeth and bones..." Torvil smirked. "all but the meat..." Ala laughed "All but the meat... "
Torvil nuzzled her and nipped her ear softly. Ala sighed softly cuddling against him
Torvil nuzzled her ear for a moment and just rested against her, holding her as close as bump would let him. "Love ya" "Love you too" she said softly as she cuddled
Torvil purred and put a hand on bump. Ala smiled "Now what love, I'm not really sure what time it is... but I know you have a flight tomorrow..."
Torvil chuckled. "I should probably get some rest yes..." Ala nodded and rested her head on his chest
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair as he shut his eyes, entering more of a trance than sleep. Ala closed her eyes and let herself doze off
Torvil woke early the next morning and went to get Jokar, flying off and leaving Ala a note letting her know he'd be back soon. Ala woke and looked around, it took her a moment before she remembered where he'd be going even before finding his note. Alone for a good portion of the day she set about her business starting with food
Torvil actually had a cheap trick he was going to use to get home early and surprise Ala... With some shinnies... Ala stared around her house "clean already" she mumbled after a short time and went outside letting her wings spread and lifting onto the shop and staring in the direction of the cliffs
Torvil suddenly appeared next to her, shivering like a mad fiend, and barely able to stand. "Whoa!" His sudden appearance scared her she really wasn't expecting him to show up like that. having been simply balancing on the very top edge of the pointed area of the roof she started to fall
Torvil reached out and grabbed her, pulling her to him as he spread his wings and got them safely to the ground. Ala's eyes were still wide even as her feet touched the ground safely
Torvil smiled. "I cheated..." He chuckled. "Took some convincing to get Jokar to shut his eyes..." "Wha?..." Ala was still dazed from nearly falling off the roof
Torvil chuckled. "I went other side... Distance there is screwy..." "Uh... k" she was trying to figure what he was telling her
Torvil chuckled and went into greater detail. "I flew Jokar a bit away, and then took me and him other side... I then exited at the caverns, re entered, and came back..." Ala nodded "Ok.." she stared at him
Torvil chuckled. "And I brought you these..." He opened his hand to reveal some gems. Ala looked at his hand to see what it was and stared for a moment before reaching towards them, a small smile playing on her lips
Torvil smiled and waited for her to take them. Ala took them in her hand and turned her hand over to look at them more "Thanks" she said quietly running a finger over their surfaces
Torvil smiled. "thought you would like them..." Ala nodded still staring at them, they were pretty... and shiny... and not at all like her pale blue transparent water crystals
Torvil chuckled. "They're from other side..." Ala finally looked up at him "They are?"
Torvil nodded. "They're pretty... and...." she was whispering as she looked back at the gems
Torvil smiled and moved over to hug her. Ala face had a smile playing on it has he moved closer to her
Torvil smiled and wrapped his arms around her. Ala closed her hand around the gems and cuddled into his hug
Torvil purred and kissed her cheek. "Love you" Ala said with a smile as she looked up at him
Torvil purred. "Love ya too..." "Shall we go inside or?" Ala asked him
Torvil chuckled. "Up to you love..." "I have a feeling there might be more still I should know, especially since I've been picking up the habits of your people" she said quietly
Torvil chuckled. "Hording is compulsive... A lot of the time you will feel compelled to pick up shiny things... It's a rush..." "That's not all I mean though... back at the cliffs you said I was beginning to act like your kind...." she sighed "never mind" she mumbled
Torvil smiled and nuzzled her softly. "No... You were very much so..." He purred. Ala just nodded quietly
Torvil picked her up. "You are definitely becoming more like me as time goes on... And I'm glad for that..." Ala nodded slowly "Wish I knew what that meant exactly" she mumbled
Torvil sat her down on their bed a bit later. "It means..." He took a deep breath. "That you are acting more like I do, being more and more influenced by your compulsions and instincts..." Ala nodded slowly looking up at him
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair. "Still so much I have a feeling I don't know.... even though it feels like I should" she said with a sigh
Torvil brushed her hair. "Give me a little bit to think..." Ala nodded and just rested against him opening her hand again to look at the gems he had given her
Torvil smiled. "Where to start..." "Doesn't matter to me" she said softly "I mean I look at it and I didn't even know what one of the more important traditions I guess it might be considered of your kind meant" she said using her free hand to touch her hair
Torvil chuckled. "Well... Marriage is rather haphazard..." He chuckled. "You get married, and you have kids..." Ala bit her lip at the sound of his chuckles, It didn't seem like that small of a deal when she mentioned to Mikiri what had happened
Torvil frowned suddenly. "Unless you're an a** and don't notice... Then you get in trouble..." He sighed. "And it gets you a black eye... and chewed out by your sister in front of your nephew..." "Chewed out?" she asked looking at him she knew he got a black eye and that she had hauled him out of the cave roughly and back...
Torvil sighed. "Today... She gave me quite the talking too before she let me come back..." Ala blinked then looked hack at her hands "Oh..." she said quietly biting her lip again
Torvil brushed her hair. "My fault for not noticing.." Ala nodded slowly... "And there I was thinking I was just getting upset cause you didn't notice something different" she mumbled
Torvil brushed her hair. "I'm sorry..." He said softly, hugging her to him. "I love you, and I married you because I do..." Ala nodded "I know you did love.... I probably shouldn't have flipped out, I just couldn't help it my mood turned in that direction and flowed. I had a couple things sprung on me this last weekend that I really wasn't expecting and not knowing enough about our kind well they greatly shocked me"
Torvil sighed. "I'm sorry I haven't told you..." He sighed. "The truth is..." He looked down at his feet. "I don't know that much at all..." "You know more then I do... and being you lived there, even if it was in hiding you've experienced more' she said with a sigh
Torvil sighed and pulled her to him. He then went about telling her all that he knew... Ala listened to his words most of it sort of general knowledge a couple things you might not know 'less you spent a lot of time there.. she nodded slowly as he spoke
Once he finished he hugged her close. "Sorry that I didn't fill you in..." Ala nodded once again "It's ok... I guess... Things have been strange for both of us these past few months I'm sure... I doubt you thought the woman you fell for would ... well become your kind, to things like your kind etcetera"
Torvil purred and hugged her as tight as he dared. "But I love you, regardless of what you are... I love you for you..." "I love you for you... and honestly I don't know /what/ I am totally anymore I feel like I'm such a mix of.. everything" she said with a sigh
Torvil brushed her hair. "Do you regret the changes..." He said softly..." Ala shook her head "No, I don't. I just don't really know what to consider myself anymore, what to expect, what will come from my kind what will come from yours...."
Torvil brushed her hair. "We'll figure it out eventually..." "Yeah we will" she glanced at the clock and sighed softly then got up from his lap and walked over to their window and looked out
Torvil sat where he sat, and sighed. "I wish I could help you more... I just want you to be happy..." "When I'm not feeling moody I am happy" she said and walked towards the armoire that had been brought in from the shop when they built the house and pulled open a door, in essence from the angle it was in comparison to Torvil it blocked the view of most of Ala and what she was doing even when the sound of something metal was being picked up
Torvil watched, wondering what she was doing... Ala didn't move away from the armoire, she was looking at what she was holding even though her body was mostly hidden so that wasn't obvious what she was holding, she sniffled
Torvil got up and moved over slowly. Ala was staring at the silver goblet that resided in that cabinet beside the two headpieces she never wrapped them back up after they had gotten married. she just had them sitting alone on a shelf
Torvil smiled and hugged her from behind. "I remember that night... It started it all..." He kissed her cheek and brushed her hair. "That was the happiest night of my life..." "Three months ago" she whispered running a finger along the design in it's surface, the red from his blood when they had been mixed still was on the goblet dried inside and around it's rim a few drops had dried along it's outer surface
Torvil smiled. "Like it was yesterday..." He said softly, watching her. "That day... I knew I would be with you forever..." He said softly. He smiled at it. "We are one... My blood is your blood..." He kissed her ear. "Forever shall we be as one..." Ala smiled softly using a free hand to wipe the pink from her cheeks as she tilted it towards her looking inside the goblet
Torvil smiled. "My mark upon it. Red on silver..." He smiled and nuzzled her. "I can feel the magic of it..." He purred. "Feel the bond of our marriage..." He kissed her cheek. "The bond I will never break..." Ala nodded and reached placing the goblet back on it's shelf where it sat between the 2 headpieces that shone in the light of the room
Torvil smiled and brushed her cheek with his hand. "I love you." "Love you too" she said softly looking at the headpieces
Torvil smiled. "I have at surprise for you..." Ala looked over her shoulder at him "You do?"
Torvil nodded and let go of her, heading out of the room. Ala blinked looking after him then went to put the gems away with the rest of her horde while she waited
Torvil returned with his hands behind his back. Ala closed the lid of the box and pushed it where it belonged before looking to him
The first thing Torvil did, was show his left hand, that was full of crimson roses. Ala smiled softly and took him from him as she stood up
Torvil smiled and showed his right, which contained a small burgundy box. Ala raised a brow and looked at the box "What is it?"
Torvil smirked and opened it. "I was doing some shopping in Barton the other day..." It was a ring... A simple gold band. "And I just happened to find something in your size..." The ring caught her eye quite easily as the case opened "ooooooo" she smiled
Torvil smiled. "And I would suggest wearing it.... and not shoving it in the box..." Ala blushed brightly at this
Torvil chuckled softly and slipped the ring onto her left ring finger. Ala smiled and looked at the ring on her finger turning her hand over and over looking at it from all sides before looking up at him and pulling him into a kiss
Torvil purred. That wasn't /all/ of it... Not by a long shot. Ala broke the kiss smiling at him
Torvil purred. "Now wait here... I'll be back in but a moment..." He hurried out of the room again. Ala blinked and nodded "Ok" she looked around for something to put the roses in
Torvil returned his arms laden with boxes. Ala had found a forgotten vase and put the roses in and filled it with Kerrsalian water. She looked up when he returned and her eyebrows shot up
Torvil chuckled. "I told you, went shopping..." He put all the boxes down on the bed. Ala stared "What is it all????" she asked
Torvil chuckled and opened the first box. "This would be a gold choker necklace..." He put it down on the bed in a separate pile. "This one..." He took the next. "Would be a gold bracelet..." Ala stared at the items slowly walking closer
"Lets see... Ah yes... This..." A slightly larger box. "Is the gold Tiara..." He put it aside. "And this... is the second bracelet..." Ala stood a couple feet away wide-eyed... not just from shock but from the attraction of it all
"oh, and here's the anklets... And the belly chain... Which will probably never see the light of day till bump is born... I expect you to wear these love, I will be very miffed if they just end up under our bed..." Ala blushed even brighter then earlier, he seemed to be teasing her about her little horde
Torvil smiled. "Oh... and the piece de' resistance..." He held up a tail ring. "this one took forever to find..." Ala quirked a brow "and how does that work...." she said looking down at the spaded tip of her tail
Torvil smirked and opened it. Ala looked back at him then smiled. Her hands were fidgeting against her belly
"Well you gonna put them on my queen? Or should I just put them in royal storage under the bed..." Ala reached and took the one from his hand looked at it a moment then snapped it closed around her tail and turned and walked away across the room looking out the window again her arms folded. he obviously hadn't figured out over-teasing a moody woman was not a very good thing to do her tail moved around behind her in an agitated manner
Torvil sighed, and stood, walking over, his hand resting on her shoulder lightly. "What did I do..." He asked softly. He had not been intending to tease her. "I'm moving it tomorrow" she said in an irritated voice
Torvil winced. "I didn't mean it..." He winced openly. "I wasn't trying to tease you..." He sighed. "I just really want to see you in what I bought..." He sighed. "You've been teasing me all night about it." she said
Torvil sighed. "I didn't know you were touchy about it... If I had...know I wouldn't have said anything..." He moved his hand, and took a step back. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to upset you..." Ala turned looking at him "Much as we are husband and wife, much as I love you which is more then I can ever state, it took a lot of courage for me to admit I had been collecting that stuff. Especially after giving you a hard time about yours after you bought the TV"
Torvil looked at his feet. "Sorry..." He said softly, feeling really bad about it now. "I may be becoming more and more Dragonic both in physical and mental. But the Kerrsalian side of me still pokes its head out too... The only thing Kal says they collect is texts... teachings.. lessons, scrolls... nothing like what I had been collecting. You didn't even know I had it before I admitted it did you"
Torvil sighed. "No... I didn't..." He said weakly, and fished into his pocket, touching the last present he had planed on giving her. It was more symbolic than anything else, but now he was starting to doubt she would accept it... "I had been hiding it. Much as I don't regret the changes my body has taken... I still hadn't come to grips with the fact that I was getting attracted to things I'd never been before" she said quietly looking at the floor
Torvil sighed and pulled out a small key from his pocket. He moved closer to her and put it in her hand, closing it around it. "That's to my horde..." He whispered softly, then turned away. "If you need me... I'll be curled up in a ball on the living room couch counting how many ways I hurt you today, and how many ways I need to try to make it better..." He sighed, and headed for the living room. Ala sank to her knees as he left the room, not because of what had happened, not because of the teasing, not even because he was leaving the room, but more out of shame as she stared at the key in her hand her eyesight becoming blurry as she cried
Torvil froze two steps. He turned on his heel and was beside her before her tears even formed properly. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him, burring his face in her hair. Ala cried into his chest openly, the pink tears starting to soak the soft fabric of his shirt
Torvil brushed her hair and hummed softly, rocking her gently back and forth. It took a while before Ala started to calm down and her crying slowly started to come to a stop
Torvil brushed her hair, and would do so till her crying abated. "I'm sorry..." He whispered. "This is my fault for being a s**t-head and teasing you..." Ala's tears came to a stop "You're forgiven" she mumbled into his chest
Torvil brushed her hair. "That key is yours..." It had been his... But he had decided that she needed it more... Ala pulled away a little so she could look up at him with her pink stained eyes "Why" she asked softly
Torvil brushed her cheek. "Because..." He said softly. "I love you... and My horde is your horde..." He said in a bare whisper. "Like my body, my horde is yours... Like my heart, my horde is yours..." He kissed her forehead softly. "But....." she looked down at her hand, her tail moved and made a soft clink sound as it hit the hardwood floor of their room
"But what love..." He said softly, his hand brushing the remnants for her tears away. "But you've been collecting it for... well I don't know how long....." she mumbled
Torvil smiled softly. "And I still can..." He said softly. "But I want you to have it..." He said softly. "I have given you everything I possibly could save that... And now, it is all I have left to give, save my life, which I gave you the day I agreed to be your husband..." Ala sat silently staring at the key not entirely sure what to say to him
"If you don't want it... Then that's okay..." He brushed her hair softly. Ala stared for a time longer before attempting to find the right words "You've already given me so much, I.... As much as the thought of shiny stuffs is... tempting.... Torvil I don't know that I could take everything you've ever collected and feel right here" she said quietly pointing at her heart
Torvil nodded, and kissed her forehead softly, right on the gem. "Alright..." He said softly. "I'm sorry" she said quietly "Deep down, even though we really didn't talk a ton about hordes... deep down I know it's a big thing to do...."
Torvil nodded slowly. "No need to be sorry love..." He smiled softly. "No need to be sorry at all..." Ala slowly looked up at him her eyes filled mostly with the shame she had been feeling since he had put the key in her hand
Torvil touched her cheek lightly. "Why shame..." He whispered softly. "Because.... because I was .... being moody over something... something that was somewhat trivial.... and here you were about to give me .... everything" she looked down again
Torvil smiled, and nuzzled her softly. "Love, it's understandable..." He hugged her tight to him. "You've been moody of late, and I'm sure it has something to do with bump..." "Probably does, I never used to be moody.... I just... I don't know... the littlest things have been setting me off.... even if I try to not let them...." she mumbled
Torvil smiled softly and brushed her cheek. "Love it's okay..." Ala nodded slowly and buried her face into his shoulder in the hug, her tail moved lazily behind her the metal made a dragging sound on the wood
Torvil smiled and hugged her tight. "I love you... More than even my pathetic vocabulary can express..." "I love you too, more then I could ever say" she said pushing her hand slowly into his pocket
Torvil smiled and kissed her forehead. Ala dropped the key into it before pulling her hand back out and moving it around him instead
Torvil purred. Ala looked up at him "Thankyou for understanding..." she said quietly referring to why she dropped the key back into his pocket
Torvil smiled and kissed her forehead. "Love... I would have been overjoyed either way..." He brushed her hair. This confused Ala and it showed, after all he just tried to give her something and she chose to decline the gift
Torvil nuzzled her face softly. "Now I have a horde... And you have one as well... Had you accepted you would have had a giant horde, and I would have the worlds most sexiest wife..." Ala flushed she knew he wasn't teasing this time "Your mother stopped me from saying how big it was... yours that is..." she mumbled
Torvil chuckled. "That would be like telling her how big my..." he bit his lip. "She asked how much of a horde I had though....." she said tilting her head to one side
Torvil chuckled. "That's different... That's like you and here comparing..." He coughed. Ala looked at the floor "We didn't compare... Besides I'm sure mine is puny in comparison to a woman who has been collecting all her life"
Torvil chuckled. "It's okay... yours will get bigger..." he had to stop himself from snorting. "Ugh... Deja-vu..." Ala looked up and raised a brow "deja-vu?"
Torvil chuckled. "I remember telling Vin that..." Ala chuckled "I can only imagine.... I haven't a clue the value of what's in that box of mine... I... I just .... collected..."
Torvil smiled. "Its not so much the value as the size..." "ppff then mines pathetic" she said pulling away and walking slowly towards all the shiny stuff he had laid out on the bed
Torvil smiled. "Don't worry... I've seen smaller..." Ala said nothing, the comment didn't really make her feel better about the size of her horde as she picked up one of the items he had placed there
Torvil got up and moved beside her, kissing the back of her head. "Besides, I don't love you because of your horde... I love you for you..." Ala smiled softly looking over her shoulder at him "Nor I you for yours... " /but it's still pathetic/ she added to herself in her mind
Torvil nuzzled her. Ala smiled softly accepting his nuzzles as her hands played with the fine metal that made up the waist chain
Torvil smiled. "Have to wait till bumps out for that I think..." Ala nodded "Yeah I don't think it'd fit right about now"
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair. "Hard to admit something you are still coming to grips with yourself" she mused looking back at all the items
Torvil nodded slowly. "Felt... well almost strange... Cooking food normally... next thing you know you are tempted to raid the pans cupboard" she said very quietly
Torvil smiled softly. "Now you know how I feel..." "Cept it's natural for you.... it wasn't natural to me till I suddenly started feeling it shortly after you brought Mikiri and Malkar back" she said with a sigh
Torvil brushed her hair. "I know love... I know.." "I never know what to expect with this body of mine, it's already thrown me for many loops" she said looking up at him
Torvil nodded, and kissed her hair softly. The next thing he knew he was chewing on it lightly. Ala blinked and looked at him giving him a 'what on earth' look
Torvil stopped. "Okay... Now that was odd..." "What is love? besides you eating my hair..." she blinked
Torvil nodded. "Yes... Me... eating your hair... odd..." "Very....." she said pulling her hair over her shoulder opposite his face
Torvil frowned suddenly feeling as if something important had been taken away. Ala turned in his arms looking at his face her own was mere inches from his
Torvil's eyes met hers and his feeling of loss melted as he leaned in for a kiss. Ala met his kiss closing her eyes contently as she deepened it
Torvil purred and held it, then leaned into it more. Ala's hand moved to the back of his neck holding him close
Torvil purred contently into the kiss. Ala held him in the kiss for a long time before slowly breaking from it
Torvil nuzzled her and lay them down in bed. Ala smiled and cuddled against him happily, all problems of earlier basically out of her mind
Torvil nuzzled her softly as he cuddled with her, pulling the covers up over them. "Love you" she murmured closing her eyes and cuddling as close as she could
Torvil smiled. "Love ya too..." Ala drifted off to sleep
Torvil kissed her forehead, and planed to listen to her sleep.

Posted: Mon May 02, 2005 7:40 pmTorvil's Journal Dear Journal, Note to self, even kind herated teasing sets Ala off, so don't do it! On that note, find Myst and see if you can get him to nab a few things for you to give Ala... Okay, a lot of things... And rather quickly. Also figure out a way to get letters in and out of Kazeha without the guards knowing... I would rather like to not risk my correspondences getting read by people who don't understand... Anyway, I'm just kinda lying here listening to Ala sleep... I think I might nap a little around two... Who knows?

Posted: Tue May 03, 2005 1:27 amAla Visits Dia in Kazeha First portion of visit here Dia smiled and ate her food rather quickly. She was actually eager, for the first time in her life, to go out without hiding. But that was also because Ala would be with her.
Ala didn't eat as fast it wasn't cause she wasn't eager more an attempt to avoid losing it a second time that day
Dia excused herself from the table to go change into something more suitable for walking around the village. She figured Ala could finish her lunch and finish talking to her mom.
Ala nodded to her friend glad to see her happier then she was when Ala had first joined her that day
Demona smiled at Ala, "you don't have to eat it all if you don't. I know how a pregnant tummy can feel." She stood up and went to her cupboard and removed a box and returned to the table. She handed the box to Ala. "these should held settle your tummy, if you need them."
Ala took the box and looked at it and chuckled "Thanks Demona, but I' think I'll leave the crackers with you" she lifted the pouch on her side and opened it revealing 3 sleeves of crackers one open and partially eaten "Torvil bought about 4000 boxes of them"
Demona laughed. "how sweet of him."
Dia came back down and into the kitchen, not wearing one of her Shinobi uniforms, which was rare. She dressed very causally, and very light, considering the weather. She smiled, "Are you almost ready, Ala?"
Ala chuckled and nodded "Yeah though I doubt I'll ever eat them all" she glanced up hearing Dia return "Yeah I think so" she glanced back to Demona "Thankyou for lunch" she gave a nod as she stood up
Demona smiled, "Thank you for coming! And for helping Dia so much. Sorry about the little scene tho." she said standing to clear the dishes in front of Ala.
Dia smiled, "need anything before we head out, Ala?"
Ala shook her head "No I think I should be fine, I used the washroom earlier but for losing it and using the toilet for normal purposes" she had to chuckle she had started to feel the weight of the baby on her bladder more of late
Dia nodded and said her goodbyes to her mom, and walked into the living room to wait for Ala to join her so they could head out.
Ala said her goodbyes as well and waddled out tot he living room munching on a few crackers
Dia smiled watching her pregnant friend. "this is still surreal to me...you being pregnant." she chuckled as she held the door open for Ala.
Ala laughed "Yeah for me too, mind you I was trying, but I also fully expected a pregnancy like the twins'"
Dia chuckled. "It would be neat to run into them on the way...see how they are doing." she said quietly as the walked.
"Don't expect to see Vin out much for a while" she laughed "Lene you might run into if you go to the park during lunch breaks and after final chime of the academy, she has told me she takes the kids there a lot to get to know other kids" Ala said half wishing she still floated as she waddled along
Dia chuckled, "Vin pretty busy, huh?" She stepped a little closer to Ala. "If you need to lean, my all means." She said cheerfully, as her tail swayed happy behind her. A sight not common for Dia.
Ala chuckled "No I'm ok, but yeah he's keeping.... busy... with his mate and likely all over his house" her own tail was being lazy behind her
Dia let out a healthy laugh. "Glad he's happy." she said wiping a tear. They neared the gate and Dia paused, and took a deep breath. "This is my first time...walking thru the gates...naked." she mused, trying to make light of the situation so she wouldn't get too nervous.
"Just take a deep breath and gather yourself. You'll be ok, some might be startled seeings they've never seen you with such, but I doubt they'll go running" she gave her friend's shoulder a reassuring squeeze
Dia took another deep breath, and nodded. "here we go." she said exhaling. She opened the gate, and let Ala step thru first. Dia stepped out, and closed the gate, then turned around and closed her eyes. "I'm ready." she whispered and slowly opened her eyes.
Ala smiled reassuringly at her friend and started waddling towards the direction Kal had mentioned the hospital had been several months previous
Dia took a few longer strides and caught up to Ala. "Have you ever met Kito's folks?" she asked.
"Kito's folks? no I can't say I have..." Ala mused "Are they nice?"
Dia smiled, "they are really nice. You'll meet them today." she said cheerfully as the passed by the Garyuu house.
"I will? oh.. they work at that hospital?" Ala was curious
Dia nodded. "Yeah, Kito's dad, Haku, is the Head Mednin of Kazeha. His mom is a great mednin as well."
"So the whole family are mednin then, wow, I wonder if that'll stay the same forever" Ala smiled
Dia chuckled, "not quite sure...I don't think Kito admires many of the single mednin currently...he actually complains about them a lot." she laughed. The two reached the intersection and turned to head towards the Town Square.
Ala laughed "I see Kito as a bachelor forever, I'm not sure how many would be able to handle his crazy personality"
Dia laughed louder. "I know what you mean! I've thought that for a while." She let her laughs die down a bit and started looking playfully shifty. "can you keep a secret?" she whispered.
Ala chuckled "Haven't I been doing that for a while now?"
Dia chuckled. "yeah, but this is juicy gossip." she giggled.
Ala laughed and leaned closer "I'm all ears girlfriend" she grinned
Dia giggled. "Nim has the hots for Kito, but will never admit it." she whispered, and kept her eyes all shifty-like.
"Nim? Now that would be an odd pairing, I don't know I could picture Kito with Nim as his mate" she laughed
Dia laughed. "unfortunately, Kito doesn't feel the same way." she looked behind her for a second. "He's kinda scared of her." she whispered.
Ala giggled "They'll find their mates eventually, who knows who it might be" she said looking at her with twinkling eyes
Dia smiled, "yeah...but like you said, I think Kito will be a bachelor forever." The Fountain was now in plain view as they approached. There were a lot of people out that day, and Dia was VERY grateful Ala was there to support her.
Ala took Dia's hand and gave it a supportive squeeze, they had to look like an interesting pair, Dia with her not-full-grown-wings, a set of tall horns and tail, herself with large unfurled wings small horns a long tail canines slightly visible even when her mouth was closed and a large belly
Dia squeezed Ala's hand. Her biggest fear at this point was actually not what onlookers would say.
A few people did turn their heads to look at the pair. But their confusion came because they knew of the young Muma girl, and that she didn't have those features before. A few of the more naive villagers thought the 2 girls were just being silly and dressing up. But for the most part, no one said anything or gave it a second thought. Kazeha was changing.
Ala hummed contently as they walked, she glanced out of the corner of her eyes but otherwise said noting to the villagers unless they greeted first
Dia would sniff a little in the air and her gaze would lock once in a while to the point where Ala would either be stopped abruptly, or pulled slightly as she walked.
Ala chuckled "trying to find something?"
Dia's attention was drawn back to Ala, and she blushed. She let out a small squeak, "no"
Ala chuckled and stopped letting her friend do what she needed to do. she didn't care that they were standing mere feet from the place Ala had landed the first time she flew with her wings to Kazeha"
Dia blushed BRIGHT red. "its okay, unless you need to rest for a few minutes." she said quietly, as her nose sniffed a little and she turned her head a little, but brought it back to look at Ala very quickly.
Ala laughed "You are the one stopping now and then, I figured I'd let you get it out of your system before we continued"
Dia's red face didn't fade. "its...best...we didn't." she chuckled lightly, sniffing once again, and fighting to look. Her tail was swaying rather fast behind her.
"All right then point to the hospital and I'll make sure you get that wagging tail in there" she smirked
Dia chuckled and started walking towards the hospital, the large building in plain view from where they stood. Dia sniffed once more and her gaze wondered...this time, it was a little more obvious as to what she kept sensing. There was a man, about their age walking, past them. She looked at him and her tail whipped a little faster, until she turned to watch the road in front of her, her face still bright red.
Ala was playing avoid the tail as she planted her hands on her friends shoulder and pushed her to keep walking without stopping
Dia let out a laugh and focused on walking, holding her nose closed with her fingers. "sorry Ala." she said, sounding a little funny from holding her nose.
Ala giggled "maybe you should charm your nose, or I'll trade you noses, I cant smell anything but pregnancy right now"
Dia chuckled, "I'd gladly change you...but...as much as a keen sense of smell as I would like...I can only smell one thing better than anyone else..." she blushed. "I hope that goes away...or its a sign I'm a better sniffer. I'd hate for the reason to be purely...uhm.. meant for this." she blushed brighter, pointing to another young man.
"March, close your eyes and march" Ala was laughing hard as she herded her friend towards the door of the hospital
Dia let out another healthy laugh. When the got to the hospital, she opened the door and help it open for Ala.
Ala waddled in looking back at her friend and hoped most of the staff here were FEMALE
Dia's face was still a shade of red, but not as intense as the entered the hospital with her friend. She led her over to the front desk and greeted the lady sitting there."Good afternoon, can we see either Dr. Garyuu's?" she asked in a polite tone.
Ala nodded "please and thanks" she rested her hands on her belly
The receptionist seen Ala's belly and smiled at her. "Sure, I'll check to see if one of them is free." she left the room for a few minutes.
Ala turned and leaned against the desk folding her wings in "Those can throw off my center of balance, not that I have one right now" she said with a laugh
Dia chuckled. "mine do too, but mine are smaller...so I can only imagine what yours do."
The receptionist returned, "Dr. Garyuu just came back from lunch and said she'd love to meet with you two." She smiled and motioned for them to head down the hallway.
Dia smiled, and led Ala
Ala nodded her thanks to the receptionist and followed Dia "Normally nothing, I got used to them, right now, a lot since my center of balance is constantly changing and I don't have time to adjust" she said
Dia chuckled. "oh." she said sheepishly. At the end of the hallway, she opened a door and held it open for Ala.
Ala smiled and entered the room looking around as she did , she'd never been in a hospital before, the closest to a doctor she'd ever gotten was the clinic
Dia sat down, motioning for Ala to do the same, in the chairs in front of the desk. There were photos hanging on the walls in this office, ones of Kito, and his parents and Dia and Nim were one as well. The name written on the hanging parchment on the front of the desk read. "Ika Garyuu, MN"
Ala nodded and took a seat her eyes still traveling over the room as they waited
A taller woman dressed in the typical Mednin robes entered the room with a bright smile. "Antidia! I'm so glad you are back! Kito will be so thrilled, he's been worried." she said as she headed over and gave Dia a hug. "And this must be Ala! I've heard so much about you from Kal and Kito and Dia." she chuckled and reached to embrace Ala.
Ala blushed lightly to have been talked abut and returned the embrace "Thanks, yeah I'm Ala"
Ika walked over and leaned on the small table that was against the wall, next to where Dia sat. "So what are you girls in for today?" She said smiling.
"Dia thought I might like to see this hospital, I've yet to have any checkup... anywhere" she smiled "I have not idea when I'm due, not likely today though" she laughed
Ika nodded. "Would you like just a basic prenatal exam? Are there any questions you want answered for sure?" Ika knew of Ala from Kito, because he talked nonstop about her and Kal for so long after he met them.
Ala chuckled "I have no specifics in mind, I haven't a clue yet what's happening when it comes time, will probably be at Gaia General... though that's always hard to predict as I don't know where I'll be when the time comes... last time I gave birth I just did it at home, but my mate has promised to let a doctor this time since it's so different this time around" Ala rambled
Ika nodded and smiled. "Okay, well, I can do what I can, if you would like to meet me in exam room 12b, in about 5 minutes, that would be great." she smiled and pushed herself from the table and headed towards the door. "I just need to get a few things from the lab."
Ala looked at Dia "There is no way I'm doing this alone girlie" she said as she pushed herself out of the chair
Dia smiled and stood up and gave Ala her hand to help her. "I wouldn't miss it." she chuckled.
Ala took her hand getting herself upright "ok 12b.... uhm D.... where's 12b???"
Dia laughed, "follow me, my dear." and she gave a playful bow imitating a butler, then holding her arm out for Ala.
Ala laughed and linked arms with her friend "lead the way"
Dia smiled and opened the door and lead Ala into the hallway. She led her thru what to a first timer, would appear to be a maze of always until Dia seen the room number. "Here it is." She smiled, and looked at Ala. "you ok?"
Ala nodded "A lil nervous, but then besides the clinic doctor the one time, this is the first normal doctor I've ever seen and most certainly the first exam of my entire life"
Dia smiled. "Ika's great. She's very smart and gentle. She actually does most of the births here in the hospital. Hake does the emergency ones and house call ones." she said.
Ala nodded and took a deep breath and walked into the room as usual her eyes roamed the room taking in the area she was in
The room was rather plain and white, with a sink in the corner and a small cart that held some medical supplies. Surprisingly, there was no exam table, only a few chairs along the far wall. A small table next to one of them.
"Ok... interesting..." she bit her lip and turned a circle in the middle of the room "Dia you sure this is an exam room?"
Dia looked around, "Ika said it was...doesn't look like one to me, either."
Ala shrugged and stood there
Ika came in, carrying a small medical bag and walked to the corner and put it on the table. She noticed the 2 looking around and looking confused and chuckled. "This IS an exam room."
Ala blushed slightly being /that/ obvious "Sorry, just wasn't sure, it kinda looks like an empty room"
Ika chuckled. "we have a new way to do exams, thanks to Kito and his dad...And your sister." she chuckled as she opened the bag and pulled out a few things and set them down. She had also had a rather large scroll that was strapped on her back that she set in one of the chairs before digging in the bag.
"Uhm ok" Ala said with a chuckle, she didn't know what the 'old' way was so it was all new to her
Dia laughed. "so no more prodding? I bet more people come to see you now." she laughed.
Ika chuckled. "most don't know we use it now, we don't advertise." She picked up the large scroll and motioned for the girls to stand back a little. She unrolled it so that a blank 3 square meters was visible. She stood back up and went for the stuff she removed from the bag.
Ala stared down at the scroll utterly bewildered
Ika smiled at Ala, "this is utterly painless, and you don't have to wear a funny gown." she joked as she pulled a tiny piece of parchment from a little box on the table, then picked up a fancy little ink bottle and pulled the stopper off. She set it down and dipped the quill in and wrote something on the tiny sheet of parchment. She rolled it up and put it in a tiny capsule.
Ala chuckled her gaze had shifted from the parchment on the floor to Ika when she had started to speak and she watched her
Ika took the same quill and knelt down and bent over the large scroll on the floor and wrote Ala's name in the center. She then placed the tiny capsule on top of the written name and proceeded to quickly draw several symbols all around the name and capsule.
Dia watched with interest.
Ala stared looking to Dia from time to time then back to the lady
Dia was as confused as Ala, she'd never seen this done before.
Ika then leaned back, still sitting on her knees and performed the necessary hand seals and ended with a loud clap, as she shouted, "HAI!"
The capsule glowed pink briefly, and the symbols that were drawn on the scroll seemed to move around on the paper, and go into the capsule. As soon as all the symbols and text had been absorbed by the capsule, it stopped glowing.
"Ok, that was definitely interesting" Ala said with a chuckle
Dia smiled, "that was so cool."
Ika smiled and stood up. She went to the sink and filled a small cup and walked to Ala. "Here, you should take this capsule. If you have questions about, don't hesitate to ask."
Ala took the two things from her "What is it?" she said with a laugh
Ika smiled, you've participated in a ceremony in the chamber building, right? with the large projection scroll?"
Ala nodded "Once"
"Its similar to that. That pill is connected to this scroll, and when you take it, your body absorbs the seal that was put into the pill, so that the scroll can project an image map of your body, life size even." she winked.
"A triplet... how cool" she wiggled her brows jokingly then stared at the pill for a moment before taking it and putting it in her mouth swallowing it with the water Ika had given her
Dia laughed.
Ika smiled and watched the scroll for the projection to show up. Within a few seconds of Ala swallowing the pill, the scroll lit up pink and displayed the 3-d holographic image of Ala's body. A second little body clearly visible in her abdomen.
Ala stared at the projection startled at seeing inside what would be 'herself'
Ika picked up the ink decanter and quill and circled Ala's belly and the little figure, causing the image to 'zoom in'. "Okay, Ala, there's your baby." she smiled, "anything in particular you would like to see or find out?"
Ala shrugged finding a seat to sit in still a bit shocked "Uhm whatever"
Ika studied the image and was seen pointing to certain things and and making little notes on a small scroll she pulled from her hip pouch. "Well, the baby's very healthy." she smiled.
Ala listened to each thing the mednin pointed out her expression changing from one of shock to one of intrigue
Ika explained to Ala also, that it was hard to determine a due date, because of the differences in the growth rate, as Ala described it. After telling her of all the information she could, Ika started to describe a couple other things to her, regarding the birth.
Ala nodded slowly "I don't know how I'm gonna deal with this one" she sighed "I have a feeling it's gonna take longer, just like everything else has"
Ika sat down in one of the chairs, "I know you are Kerrsal, Ala, but ... are you concerned with pain relief or comfort or are you able to control that?"
Ala sighed "No I can't control that, when my wings and horns did their thing I swore I was gonna die.. Now I know that's probably a lil more drastic then giving birth but I did birth two other kids they hurt, but it was quick. Ika I really don't know what to expect and that alone scares me" she admitted
Ika smiled and put her hand on Ala's shoulder. "Ala, its not going to be any worse than any other pregnancy. Everthing on the baby seems normal as far as placement and development." She paused for a moment and looked back at the projection, then back to Ala. "I know you mentioned you didn't know where you'd be when the birthing process started...but, I am fairly certain this won't be as quick as your last births. You might have time to get to where you will be comfortable giving birth."
Ala nodded "Time I hope you are right, nothing about this pregnancy has been either truly Dragonic or Kerrsalian"
Ika nodded, "that may be because of the clinics help in however they aided the fertility." she said, as if it was actually common information. "Well, I can offer you a couple of options for pain relief if you like. Kazehans usually have 2 options for birthing. They can be here, in our Birthing Room, or have them at their home, in which case the On-Call will come and help." She started explaining the pros and cons of both. The Birthing Room being a large room with a small, in ground-type tub, large enough for the expectant mother and whomever is there to help her emotionally, or even physically.
The thoughts and ideas of a birth that took place in water truly intrigued Ala and it showed
Ika explained that it was actually Kerrsals that taught them the method. They use it because it eases pressure on both the mother and baby and can reduce pain as well. Kerrsal waters are used, for their purification and healing properties, and Ika chuckled a bit knowing Ala is Kerrsal. "I know I'm telling you a bunch of stuff you already know, its habit when explaining these things."
Ala shook her head "Actually you aren't there's really not a ton I know about the Kerrsalian race, I didn't grow up the same way Kal did"
Ika nodded, "You didn't? She did say something about you two not growing up together." She gave Ala's shoulder a squeeze, and smiled. she then went on to say that before the birth, the mother can be anointed with ointments and oils, and that allows others in the room to channel their energy into the Mother, comforting and easing her pains. The baby can benefit from these ointments as well. There are also some elixirs and remedies she can take that will help her not feel the pain, however they are to be used sparingly because of the side effects. She told of the seal that is placed on all newborns to guard them against the illnesses and diseases that infants are more susceptible to.
Ala listened to all this information with interested, she wondered to herself how it would differ from what she would probably experience in Gaia, she wondered if they had anything even remotely similar
Ika smiled, and sat up a little straighter. "All this information is of course, if you happen to be in Kazeha at the time of your labor. If you wanted us to help you get to your chosen hospital, we could certainly do that as well. Its all about what you want." She smiled.
Dia was just listening with interest, never really knowing what went on for a birth.
Ala nodded and smiled softly, learning about birthing outside of what she had already experienced did ease a few worries though not all of them "Guess we'll see when the time comes where I wind up being"
Ika nodded, "do you have any other questions, ala?"
Ala shook her head "Not that I can really think of at this point in time"
Ika nodded and dispersed the projection and rolled up the large scroll. "It was great to meet you Ala, and good luck with your baby." she said as she packed up her medical supplies and headed out the door.
Dia turned to Ala, "so...what did you think?"
"Makes me hope Bump decided to come when I'm here... but I can't decide that I have no control over when bump wants to join the world" she admitted
Dia smiled, "This is the strangest pregnancy I've ever head of...but I bet its going to be the most blessed as well." She said as she stood up and held her hands out to help Ala stand as well.
Ala laughed "Yes it is the strangest, certainly not what I expected" she took her friends hands and stood up
Dia led the way for them to exit the room, and Ika had intercepted them in the hallway. "Ala, I wanted to let you know, if you need anything all, don't hesitate to send us a message. We're glad to help you." She smiled, and gave Ala a squeeze on her shoulder, "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to be seen in the next room." she flashed a smile and went on her way.
Ala smiled a grateful smile "Well lets find our way out of this maze then we can figure out what to do next...
Dia chuckled, "yeah, lets go." and she led her friend outside and back into the open fresh air.
Ala purred softly running her hands over her belly as they exited the building taking in a deep breath of air once outside and glancing at Dia
Dia smiled and looked to her friend. She was glad Ala wanted her to be a part of her pregnancy. Dia sniffed the air and her eyes started to wander, but she resisted and gave her friend a hug.Ala and Dia spent the rest of the day idly visiting, near the end of the visit Dia gave her a gift, a 'birthbead' a custom of the Kazehan people. Ala is to keep the bead and take care of it, it will be significant down the road according to Dia.

My trip to see my sister turned out definetaly not how I expected it to be. Firstly I ran into my friend, she had just just just returned home. Man and I thought my life was tough. I hope all goes well for her she has a lot of changes to adjust to....
On another note I saw a Mednin while I was there, needless to say what I saw and the information I learned intrigued me... Especially the birthing proceedures they have at their hospital.

Posted: Tue May 03, 2005 6:11 pmReminising Ala hummed softly walking around the grounds of the shop looking at well nothing really, just walking and getting exercise
Torvil was working on something or other on the house. Ala stopped closing her eyes and taking a deep breath in enjoying the fresh air
Torvil muttered darkly on the roof of their house, trying to fix a shingle. Ala opened her eyes glancing his direction for a moment, then decided she wanted more of a walk and picked a path at random and disappeared into the trees
Torvil watched her go and hopped down, speeding after her. Ala walked leisurely down the path, the only part of her that wasn't leisurely was her eyes as they always scanned the path ahead of her
Torvil reached her quickly and wrapped an arm around her, helping her keep an eye out. Ala looked up at him "Hello love, what brings you down this path?" she asked
Torvil smirked. "You of course..." Ala laughed "I thought you were busy fixing the roof"
Torvil rolled his eyes. "Attempting..." He showed her his covered hand. Ala laughed "You could just fix it with alchemy like you usually would" reaching and taking his hand and bringing it to her lips to kiss
"Feels more homey this way..." He muttered, still nursing the now numb hand. He purred though, seeing her kiss it. Ala chuckled and let go of his hand resting both of her hands on her belly again
Torvil purred. Ala relaxed and watched the path ahead of her resting against his side
Torvil smiled but kept a wary eye out for the small black flower of death. "Did you check this path yet love?" she asked glancing up and seeing him looking around at the path as much as she
Torvil shook his head. "Not very thoroughly, I haven't had the time..." He smirked. "You've been occupying me of late..." Ala chuckled "I have now huh" she said resting her head against him
Torvil chuckled. "Yep..." He nuzzled her head. Ala purred softly "Well you don't seem to be complaining sooo I'll assume that's not a bad thing"
Torvil purred. "Very good thing... I haven't felt this good in ages..." "And what makes you feel so good" she said with a purr turning down a path that crossed the one they were currently on
Torvil chuckled and nuzzled her ear. "Why you my darling..." Ala giggled and purred, the path they were on a tad bit familiar then the last but one she hadn't walked on in a few months
Torvil purred and walked along and chuckled. "Do you remember this path?" she asked walking past trees and areas that could have snow banks in the winter
Torvil purred, yes, he remembered quite well. "Yep..." Ala chuckled "Good"
Torvil purred. "Good day that day..." "Very good day.... " she said purring
Torvil chuckled. "Day the twins were conceived... Ala nodded "And the day we admitted our feelings to each other" she added quietly
Torvil purred and nodded, nuzzling her ear. "One of the best days of my life..." "And one of the best and most interesting of mine" she said stopping near a tree and placing her hand on it
Torvil purred and smiled, putting his hand on it too. "Yes... A great day indeed...:" Ala turned her back to the tree and leaned against him grabbing his shirt and pulling him to her for a kiss like they had done so many weeks before
Torvil purred and leaned into it happily, remembering the first time he kissed her against this very tree... It had been out of impulse... Ala pulled him closer purring loudly as she deepened the kiss
Torvil leaned and melted into the kiss, his hands roaming up and down her sides. Ala held the kiss, this kiss would be more his choice of when to break seeings she was against a tree, she purred loudly feeling his touch
Torvil finally broke a few minutes later, panting happily. "Mmmm..." Ala smiled "Nice tree, just as good for support as the first time we kissed here" she said
Torvil chuckled. "Yes..." He purred. "Remember the first time we were intimate... It was right..." He pointed about two or three feet away from the tree. "There..." "Only toooo well" she said purring remembering it not only to be the first time she had been intimate with him but it being the first time she had with ANYONE
Torvil chuckled. "And the second place kinda floated away..." He murmured..." Ala laughed "I suppose it did"
Torvil chuckled. "Oh well... Though I have a sneaking suspicion that's where the twins were conceived..." "Why would you say that?" she said resting her hands on his hips
Torvil chuckled. "Well, you would have been showing by..." He blinked remembering something and laughed. "Never mind... That spot two feet away is..." Ala quirked a brow she was very curious what he was thinking
"Remember when you had trouble putting your pants on the second time..." Ala nodded "But I did get them on"
"Yes... But you were kinda showing..." Ala looked at him with still quirked brow "You put me down and felt my belly, you said I wasn't...."
"I was wrong..." He said softly. "I was a tad jittery, and it was still to early for me to tell accurately by touch..." Ala giggled "Well it turned out well one way or another"
Torvil purred happily, "Yeah..." "So what other memories we want to talk about" she asked feeling in a reminiscing mood
Torvil purred. "Lets see..." He stroked her gem with a finger. "Remember when I grew mine?" "Sure" she purred reaching and touching his gem "I remember it was in the back room"
Torvil nodded. "I'd been feeding on you..." Ala nodded "I remember the sound it made against the floor"
Torvil nodded. "Hurt..." "Like nothing ever felt before" she whispered touching her own gem remembering when it had resurfaced so many many years before
Torvil nodded. "Yeah..." He kissed her gem softly. "How bout this one" she said looking at him as her tail wrapped around his arm
Torvil purred. "Now that was a very interesting... and very fun night..." Ala purred and nodded "The night of our union"
Torvil purred. "Yes, our honeymoon..." "Very honeymoon, I didn't want to leave that room for a long time" she purred reaching to stroke his face
Torvil purred. "And we didn't if I recall correctly..." He purred, and kissed her hand. Ala laughed "No we made Vina baby-sit for a couple straight days"
Torvil chuckled. "She enjoyed it I think... She's always loved kids..." Ala nodded looking up at him "Your turn to think of something"
Torvil thought for a moment and purred. "Remember when Selene came home covered head to toe in poison Ivy?" Ala burst out laughing "Yes, just before they twins started to manifest, I passed out from dealing with the 3 of them"
Torvil chuckled softly. "Yeah, and Selene freaked out at your teeth..." Ala smirked "She always was the one who did that or showed great interest, she was constant trying to catch my tail after it grew whereas Vin just watched"
Torvil chuckled. "Torvin watched everything..." He sighed. "It seems like so long ago..." "They are 3 months old now so it has been..." she said agreeing
Torvil nodded and sighed. "Three months... feels like years..." "For a race who grows as fast as yours I'm not surprised" she said
Torvil chuckled. "And years feel like decades..." he sighed and leaned his forehead against hers. "must feel short to you..." "I'm still very young in the eyes of my people, but it's really hard to say, sometimes things seem short sometimes long depends on home I'm looking at it.. remember I'm picking up some of the ways of thought of your kind" she told him
Torvil smiled and kissed her nose. "I love you..." "I love you too" she told him with a smile and a nuzzle
Torvil purred and rained kisses down onto her face. Ala closed her eyes and purred
Torvil finally kissed her hotly. Ala pulled him close to her returning his kiss and basking in the attention
Torvil purred and poured all his passion into the kiss, quite happy to be there with her, his hand went down her front and he softly rubbed bump. Ala broke the kiss only when she found she needed air. "We should probably start walking again" she told him breathlessly
Torvil chuckled softly and pulled away a bit, starting to walk. Ala pushed herself away from the tree rubbing her back a little as she caught up to him
Torvil smiled and turned around, taking off his Romani's a rare occurrence that only happened in two circumstances... When he wanted his face to be seen, and when He and Ala were getting intimate... "Notice anything different?" He asked, stopping. Ala stopped and turned to face him lightly wrapping her arms around him as she studied his face "Hmmm" she reached up with one hand and brushed his long white bangs out of his face, took her a moment but she smiled tracing her finger where there was something missing, she nodded slightly
Torvil smiled. "They're gone, and so is my shame..." "You never did tell me what shame that was" she said quietly running her fingers down the side of his face then his side till her hand returned to resting with the other
"The shame of killing Malkar and the innocent... but Malkar said I was forgiven by banishing them..." Ala smiled softly "And Malkar is back" she said softly with a smile "I kinda think it'd be nice if they visited /us/ I can't expect to keep going back there too many times while I'm carrying bump"
Torvil chuckled. "I'll pass the word along when I see him next..." Ala chuckled "You planning another trip or something?"
Torvil chuckled. "Just a quick little check up on Vina and the other members of the family..." Ala nodded "I see" she sighed softly and let go of him starting to walk again
Torvil walked with her. "I was planning on taking you with..." Ala looked in his direction "Faster alone" she mumbled looking down to the path
Torvil frowned. "I want to take you..." He murmured... walking to catch up and then gently putting a hand on her shoulder. Ala sighed stopping feeling a lil moody in her reply as she spoke "All I do there is make people wonder why I'm still pregnant, be ignorant of customs that I don't know, get my mate punched and lectured" she didn't look up
Torvil hugged her close, knowing by now her mood was swinging. "For one, they can just shove their expectations... For two, you're ignorant because I am slightly ignorant, and I'm trying to teach you as best as I can, and not doing a good job, so that's my fault... and For three, the whole Mikiri things was again my fault..." "I'm the one who told her what happened" she mumbled into his chest a single pink tear sliding down her cheek from her closed eyes
Torvil lifted her face to him and kissed the tear away, and then pulled her into a kiss. Ala returned his kiss softly still not past her moodiness
Torvil broke his kiss slowly and held her to him, brushing her hair. Sighing she leaned against him "So much to deal with and figure out" she murmured
Torvil nodded. "I have faith in you..." He murmured. "I know less about my own people then I do about yours and I don't know a ton about them either" she sad feeling kinda stupid right about then
Torvil smiled softly and brushed her hair. "That happens love... You were left in a world with people who didn't know of your origin, who didn't recognize such amazing beauty and ability..." Ala nodded and just rested against him calming down
Torvil smiled and brushed her hair and back "I'm sorry love" she said quietly reaching up to brush a stray tear away
Torvil smiled. "You are forgiven, but you had no need to apologize..." He caught her hand before it could get rid of the tear, and lifted her face again, licking it away softly. "I love you..." he purred, and nuzzled her face before kissing her again. "I've been rather moody lately lately" she said and kissed him softly, she still wasn't entirely sure why she WAS getting moody
Torvil nodded softly. "It's alright..." He murmured, holding her close and then broke the kiss. Ala looked up at him silently looking into his eyes
Torvil's eyes were full of love for her. Moody or no, she was his wife, and he loved her. He loved her so much that he would without second thought, lay down his life for her. That sort of love is strong, and his eyes were full of it. Ala smiled at what she saw "I love you" she told him
Torvil purred. "I love you too, heart of my heart, soul of my soul..." Ala smiled "So now what should we do? I don't know what you had in mind if anything etc..." she said looking up at the noonday sun through the foliage
Torvil purred. "I had no real plans..." he said softly, brushing her hair. He looked around. "Hmmm... If I remember correctly..." He walked them back and to the left a few feet. "This is where we first were intimate..." Ala giggled "And you sat in a snow bank right over there in the moonlight worried about the risks"
Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... Little good that did..." He smirked. Ala giggled "I was willing to take the risks"
Torvil chuckled. "I was surprised... Most would say no..." "Why do you say that?" she asked
"Well Silent didn't want kids to begin with, but let me try it with her once..." He muttered. Ala blinked "Is that why she's rarely around for her daughter?"
Torvil shook his head. "I think she's just... Forgotten..." His eyes became sad. "She did want children... The second time around..." Ala held him close not saying a word, as she watched him
"It hurts to remember it..." He murmured, looking down at her. "Can you help take the pain away..." Ala pulled him as close as bump would allow and tippy toed pressing her lips against his
Torvil leaned into the kiss, letting himself become one with Ala, the memories fading and the pain subsiding. Ala purred softly pouring her love into the kiss
Torvil's hands roamed up and down her back as he gave himself entirely to her in the kiss. Ala shivered as his fingers brushed the edges of her nodes a couple times in his movement
Torvil purred and finally started to pay attention to her more sensitive areas, his fingers gently tracing the very edge of her nodes. Ala's purrs grew much louder at his touch
Torvil finally broke the kiss and nuzzled her, his fingers paying a little bit rougher of attention on her nodes. Ala moaned softly shivering in his arms, her eyes closed as she basked in the attention being given
Torvil finally stopped his attention to her nodes, just holding her close with his eyes closed. Ala purred loudly leaning against him lightly panting
Torvil smiled and kissed her forehead. Ala purred "Now what shall we do my love, my holder of my heart, the sun of the day and moon of my night" she was feeling slightly flirty
Torvil purred. "Anything that my Queen, Mistress, holder of the key to the lock of my heart, desires..." Ala laughed "I don't know what I want to do, there's still a lot of light today we haven't been walking all that long maybe an hour or two... but I had no plans today at all"
Torvil chuckled and tapped his chin. "Hmmm..." There was a part of him who wanted her... But there was another part that thought that perhaps she wanted a rest from that... They had after all been very intimate as of late... "Everyone we know lives so far away... we just saw the twins I don't want to overwhelm or make them feel like they are being checked up on by going there toooo often"
Torvil nodded and finally found himself sitting on the ground trying to think. Ala looked down at him blinking
"Sitting help me think..." He patted his lap. "Having you in my lap helps too..." Ala laughed and dropped softly into his lap
Torvil purred, his hands stroking her hair. His mind kept giving him dirty thoughts though. Ala purred and leaned on him waiting for him to come up with good idea
"We could always... You know..." He was having trouble today being vocal... Ala chuckled" that all you can think of?"
Torvil blushed. "Right now yes..." He muttered, feeling a bit dirty because of it. Ala started laughing , more of a giggle laugh and didn't stop, she was having a hard time stopping
Torvil fought hard to hide a frown, he knew it was probably just a swing, but that didn't mean that it didn't hurt. He just brushed her hair. Ala slowly calmed and looked up at him "I'm sorry love, I couldn't help it" she reached up and brushed her hand along his cheek softly
Torvil nodded. "Figured..." he said softly, but suffice it to say, mood killed... He sighed and kissed her hand. Ala sighed letting her hand drop, she got up and started along the path again looking at the forest floor as she moved
Torvil followed her, and he had to admit, watching her from behind... Started to kick the mood back up... However he knew it hinged on her, and not him. He walked beside her and stopped her again, turning her towards him. He leaned down for a kiss. Ala returned the kiss though someone half-heartily feeling at that time like she didn't do much right
Torvil broke softly. "My fault..." he murmured. "I forgot how alluring your giggles were..." he smirked and nuzzled her face. Smiling softly and arms around herself she returned his nuzzle
Torvil purred, and his fingers started to run up and down her arms. Ala stared into his face and eyes a small smile playing on her lips as he moved his hands
Torvil's eyes were so full of love it looked as if they were about to burst. In fact, there were small pools of red building up in his tearducts. Ala smiled softly one hand letting go of her side and reaching up to wipe the corner of his eyes
Torvil smiled at her, and sniffled a little. "Well this is odd..." "What?" she asked softly
"I have this sudden urge to hug you close and bawl my eyes out..." He sniffled again. "But I'm happy..." "Tears of happiness" she said quietly resting her hand on his cheek
Torvil nodded and sniffled and did just that, pulling her close and crying softly into her hair. Ala put her arms around him humming softly
Torvil's sobs finally subsided and he sniffled loudly, a hand wiping away the last few tears. Ala continued to hum softly as he did quiet
Torvil lifted her face up to him via fingers under her chin, he leaned down and kissed her deeply. Ala returned his kiss, this time whole-heartedly
Torvil purred happily and closed his eyes, melting into it. Ala purred softly pressing her lips firmly against his
Torvil deepened the kiss turning it into a rough one. Ala's purrs increased i volume her hands kneading the skin of his back
Torvil purred loudly as he pulled her as close as bump would allow. Ala finally broke the kiss for air looking at him and panting lightly
Torvil had a big smile on his face, he had small red runnels down his face of course... Stains from his tears. Ala smiled softly and ran the tip of her tongue along his cheek licking them away
Torvil purred softly, his hand brushing her back. Ala purred and looked into his eyes "We should do something other then just stand here"
Torvil chuckled. "I'm up for anything..." "Well I suppose we could start to head back, it's getting close to lunch time" she mused
Torvil nodded, and turned them towards the shop, walking them back. He smirked and as they walked, gave her rear a playful pinch. Ala jumped a lil and giggled as she walked and headed into the house
Torvil purred. "What does my wife want for lunch?" Ala shrugged "Something simple"
Torvil chuckled. "One soup de soup coming up..." He walked into the kitchen and then into the pantry. Ala laughed and followed him in and sat down
Torvil came out with a vegetable soup and heated it up. Ala purred softly still plotting in her mind as she waited for him
Torvil came over with two bowls and set them down on the table, one in front of her. "Thanks love" she said pulling it close and adding her normal crackers smirking while she ate
Torvil purred and ate quickly, eventually ditching the spoon, and drinking the soup, chunks and all. Ala laughed as she finished hers and watched him
Torvil purred and put his bowl down. "Done..." He beamed. "I see this" she said pushing hers away
Torvil looked into hers. "You gonna finish off those last chunks... Those are the really good ones, they've got all the broth on the inside..." Ala chuckled and shook her head
Torvil nodded and finished them for her. Ala giggled and got up sauntering towards the bedroom
Torvil followed her, purring loudly.

And I thought I was the emotional one. Torvil and I reminiced all that has happened in the past 3 and a bit months today, walking along the same path we had then. Are my moody emotions contageous? is that why he burst out into tears? I dunno....

Posted: Tue May 03, 2005 7:37 pmTorvil's Journal Dear Journal, Heh... This was definatly strange. One minute I'm fine, happy as a clam in a sea bed, and the next thing I know I'm bawling my eyes out into Ala's hair. Not that this is a bad thing, and acutally it was nice to be able to hold her close to me as I let it all out. I feel a lot better now, and I'm a bit tired. But I think that now, and in the long run, things are gonna work out just fine...
