Xena gave Ares a look that basically said Do you really expect me to give you the dagger, idiot? looking pretty peeved. It was also somewhat irritating for Athena to simply leave like that. Though of course, the warrior knew that Athena wouldn't have really helped anyway. She glanced up to see Gabrielle dangling above them, and rolled her eyes. "Oh that's clever Ares," she murmured, but her mind had already thought of something to do. "ZeeeYA!" [[ooc: my attempt at spelling one of her warrior calls]] and jumped up high, taking Ares by surprise and knocking him over, throwing her chakram, having it bounce off a few stone walls, before hitting the chain that was holding Gabrielle. She let out her warrior cry again and jumped back, holding her arms out and catching Gabrielle with ease, setting her down. There - Gabrielle is fine...now we need to get out of here. She glanced quickly over at Aphrodite, "Can you get us out of here before wonder boy over there gets up?" she asked quickly, her eyes darting over to the annoying God who was trying to get up.

((Nuh uhz, boy! Just because she was smart enough to never get involved with men, doesn't mean she's a wimp! And Hephaestus tried to rape Athena, so that's messed up that you tried using his chains on me.))

(Haaa! Wow, we're getting real specific in here. I'm learning stuff. biggrin )


Gabrielle wasn't expecting falling in means of being rescued. "Hades-!!!" she thought in the momently fall only to be caught by Xena and sat down. She dusted herself off and muttered, "...could of...No you could of- I could of- Arrrgh" It wasn't that Gabrielle feared heights, it was the falling from heights part which terrified her. Nevertheless, she knew she should thank Xena later and try and make up for getting kidnapped...again and stop complaining of a simple discomfort. "Yah, lets get out of here." She said, nodding in agreement with Xena.

"Sorry to help ruin your little plans, Ares, but I need to help the two lovebirds outta here," Aphrodite told her brother with a wink and a smirk before teleporting into the next room, next to Xena and Gabrielle. "You know, it's a good thing I like you two. Dealing in your mortal problems is seriously cutting in to my 'me' time," she said.
