I would live in Esthar. That place was just so technologically advanced and I like technology! I would hide if the place got attacked by monsters, though sweatdrop

There are a couple places I'd like to live and I'm surprised no one has said any of them yet... probably because of the games they're in.
1. FFXI's Re' Aun Gardens (it looks sooo cool... and it's a f**king flying castle! How badass is that?!?!?!)
2. FFXI's Hall of the Gods
3. FFXI's Purgonorgo Isle (it's part of bibiki bay)
4. FFXI's Tavnazian Safehold... it's just soooo damn beautiful
5. FFV's Walse Castle... All that water everywhere the place just looks soo pretty! whee

FFV is not one that most ppl here have played (at least from what i've seen) and most avoid FFXI because of the costs to play. personally, i agree with you about the castle in FFV, but i've not seen any of those places in FFXI. i harldy got out of San d'Oria.

hmmm....toughie......i have bunches that i can think of and bucnhes more that i can't.......hehehe.......the farplane (leading to vegnagun, not the one in guadosalam) sweatdrop (although the "background" of the farplane in guadosalem seems really nice ttoo) nvrmind....the farplane (background) in guadosalam too mrgreen
and Zanarkand (1000 years ago), Kilika Island (from X-2), Wutai (sp?), Mideel

I would say the Zanarkand before it was destroyed (and knowing for a FACT that it would never be destroyed)... I am a city girl (even though I live in a town,,, grr,, I was born and raised in the city though) Anyways,, Zanarkand just looks so beautiful. A life without any worries. That would be nice. ^_^

Balamb or Deling from VIII, its strange but for some reason I've always liked Deling despite the murder and political disputes.
