Chieira 3differentsides For this weeks chapter (387) I nearly died laughing at how yaoi-ful Sasuke's postion was on the wall. Did anyelse notice too? And then I nearly shot the computer for not telling me what was going to happen next. @__@ It was. And Itachi saying, "I'm sorry, Sasuke."? heart heart heart And then that one moment when their faces were really close together. xD Okay, I'll quit ItaSasu fangirling now. No need to stop. Please, by all means continue. 4laugh But dang... that was a good chapter.

Henada Chieira Henada This chapter made me happy. smile @_@ Why~? (By the way, do you mean 386 or 387?) I kinda like that he isn't tragic or ambiguous. We were all expecting 'X', and we got 'Y'. xd @__@ It wasn't something we expected, but as far as his motives, I don't think that's a good thing. It wasn't what I expected because I expected better from Itachi xD; His reasoning behind everything, even wanting Sasuke's eyes, is, on a very basic level, more power so that he can be the strongest Uchiha. I think that's really generic, and I just thought Itachi was better than that. The eyes thing isn't what I'm complaining about... I actually like that in that it was SUCH a shock. I really wasn't expecting it at all, and while there are certainly other reasons why I WISH he had left Sasuke alive, they're all the reasons of an ItaSasu fangirl and not things I REALLY expected to happen. The eyes thing hurts me for Sasuke, but I do recognize it as a really excellent plot twist. And I really like it, in a very strange, round-about sort of way xD My only problem is really Itachi's motivation behind everything, and also that inner!Itachi. The inner!Itachi just... sort of makes Itachi seem like a different character, to me, and it seems like a really cheap way to justify his motives not seeming to jive with the Itachi that we know. The motivation itself is so generic, and Itachi is more intelligent (or at least, I thought he was) than to want something so simple. As another friend has said, at least, as a bored sociopath, his motives were INTERESTING. I just wish that there was more to it. I'm going to keep reading in hopes that more is revealed xD I do remember, though, the mention (in the translation I read, anyway) of Madara being 'possessed by the mangekyo' when he stole his brother's eyes, so I'm hoping maybe the mangekyo is the cause for this 'inner' Itachi, and that it's sort of not really a part of Itachi himself. That, I'd like much better.

Chieira So, basically, my feelings about this are: Itachi is not the same character that I originally liked, and this new Itachi has very shallow, uninteresting, generic motives. I'll continue reading in hopes that things improve, but... *sigh* I feel that way about a lot of the character actually. Sasuke has changed, and lord, Naruto became one big angry puberty attack. Like, seriously... I know he's anxious and angry and all, but like, he's being a n00b again. ><; When he fought with Kakuzu he actually did good! And ugh, Itachi... I thought he was so cool. Turns out he's just bordering insane. And well, I don't think I have to mention my feelings on what Kishimoto has done to Kabuto... I was torn when he erased Orochimaru. But, but... Kabuto! Gah... It's like, the only person that changed for the better was Sakura...

I think that happens a lot of the time, though, at the end of a series. I know YYH started to suck near the end.

They have everything there, well... almost everything. The easiest place to direct download would probably be NarutoFan. Anyway, the chapter that this post was based on reveals Itachi's intentions and motives. Last week's chapter had some fighting and fanservice xD And this week's chapter isn't out yet.
