"Let me try that again..." he said, fetching the shuriken again and aiming for the other tree this time. "You, eh, seem to have a slight *cough* deficiency in your ninja abilities..." the Hokage tried to comment in the most polite way he could. Gatz sighed and rolled his eyes. "I've found that I'm a bit more oriented towards taijutsu and ninjutsu than I am towards illusions and spells," he admitted. "But that just means I have to learn how to play my strengths and adjust for my weaknesses... though that's easier said than done, of course." Gatz flicked the shuriken at his target, this time creating a single good copy of it during it's flight. The Third Hokage nodded in approval as watched Gatz go to retrieve it again, the young man intent on practicing some more. (Shuriken Shadow Clone posts 6.5/7.5)

Gatz flung the throwing star again; this time producing a dozen copies of it on the way to the target before the impact dispelled the illusion. "Well, it seems that we're finished here," the Third Hokage said as he walked up the tree and retrieved the projectile. "You've progressed as far as you can in the technique without the knowledge of Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Should you wish to fully learn it, you must seek someone out to teach you that technique." Gatz got up and bowed respectfully to his teacher. "I thank you for the lesson, Lord Hokage." "I thank you for being such an earnest pupil. Now, give an old man some time to rest, and perhaps we will meet again later." With that the two parted ways... (Shuriken Shadow Clone posts 7.5/7.5 - complete!)

Jin's eyes shot wide open, a vast white scape of nothinness stretching out all around him... where was he... he looked around carefully not seeing the devestating attack inches from his face anymore, nor the woods he had been within just moments ago... A smirk crossed his face.... "I must be dead.... well.... I did my best..."
A man watched Jin from nearby, "Why so sad young one? Did you lose something."
Jin looked up seeing the familiar form. Even though he had spent most his life in the forest he had remebered what the 4th Hokoge had looked like... "I broke my oath, failed to free myself from my earthly bonds..."
The 4th Hokoge grinned "Do not fret so, in time you may return to your mortal life if you so wish it."

Jin looked him over "...What do you mean... return?" he asked a mixture of shock and confusion running through his mind. If what he said was true, then perhaps he could keep his oath... and get his revenge. His fists clenched.
The 4th keept a calm and controlled appearance, "Some things where not meant for mortals to know... but before you go back perhaps you should take your time to gain some assurance you won't wind up here again young one."
Jin nodded, "I would be honored to learn from you master Hokoge." he said as he bent down to one knee and bowed respectfully, such an opportunity was beyon even his comprehension, yet to pass it up would make him a fool.

Jin stood "I am ready to begin... I wish to return to my place within life as soon as possible." Jin said a stern and determined look on his face. He knew that if he stayed to long he may loose his chance to track down his murderer.
The fourth nodded "I understand. First I will teach you a powerfull movement technique, master it and your speed will be unmatched by any." A staff appeared in the fourths hand as he tapped it on the ground, the sound of it echoing through the nothingness as if it where a large empty cave. With the second echo of the sound came a sudden burst of color from the fourths staff as the environment around them shapped itself into a large forest. "These surroundings should help during our training. Now shall we begin?"

Jin was astonished at the power, yet the look on his face never wavered, he had no time to marvel at the power of this dead wonder, merly to learn what he needed and return to seek his vengance.
From afar another watched his eyes peering into Jins very soul. "It's corrupted with anger and hatred... perhaps there is something there valuable enough to put my effort towards..." The figure stood and disappeared back into the darkness from whence it came.
The fourths head turned towards where the figure had been... he knew whom it was and hoped that Jin did not fall into the false power the figure represented. He turned back to Jin refocusing his attention on the training at hand. "First you must perpare this technique before it may be used... placing a symbol on the destination in which you wish to arrive."

Jin readied himself, his hands quickly moving forming several symbols to focus his chakra. To his surprise most of it had returned despite his earlier fight in the realm of the living. "Lets do it, I'm always ready."
The fourth pointed at a rock wall far away, "That is your target, first we must go there. The secret of this skill is that you must prepare to use it ahead of time by picking a destination at which you wish to arrive. You must first mark it, not doing so would leave your movement to uncontrolled and could very easily kill you at the speed your moving." he said as he began walking towards the large rock wall.
Jin followed the fourth to the large stone wall and watched carefully as the fourth's hands formed a complex symbol. The fourth then placed his hand forming the symbols against the wall, a symbol giving a dull flash as he touched the surface. The symbol then quickly faded and was seemingly gone as soon as it had shown itself.

The fourth turned to Jin, "Now, you try. Form the symbol as quickly as possible, in battle this will be necessary and if done correctly will go unnoticed by your opponent leaving the move a surprise further on in a fight." he moved aside, motioning on hand towards the wall in a sweeping gesture.
Jin approached the wall and raised one hand. He quickly mimicked the former movements of the fourth, his hand forming quick symbols as he concentrated on pushing all of his chakra towards the end of his hand. Once the symbols had been preformed he pressed the hand up against the wall, a familiar symbol showing up on the wall as he did so that quickly faded out of sight.
The fourth nodded "Good, you've got the first part down."

The fourth motioned his hand for Jin to follow "Now, let us put some distance between ourselves and this rock so you can understand the true speed of this power." The fourth walked away, eventually leading Jin to a hill atop which no trees grew, giving them both a clear view of most of the forest. "Now once the mark has been aplied you can travel to that destination whenever you wish within the blink of an eye.
Jin nodded "Astounding... so... could this mark... be put onto people." he asked curiously thinking of the possibilities as he waited eagerly for the fourths answer.
The forth thought it over "I never thought of that before but I suppose it could. Yet no doubt the symbol could be removed if noticed by the person if they had powerfull enough chakra... however very clever that would be quite helpfull wouldn't it.

The fourth shook his head, "Anyways back to training. First I'll show you how to preform the remainder of the technique, then you follow in my footsteps by mimicking the movements I make during the proccess. Now, watch closly as I preform the legendary technique."
Jin nodded and stood still, his attention completly focused on the fourth whom seemed to return the look with a similar attitude. Suddenly the fourth dissapeared in a flash of yellow. Jin looked around... he hadn't been able to track the lightning fast movment... the fourth had been extremly serious when he had said to watch closly. Something caught the corner of his eye and he turned to see the fourth standing down out near the wall where they had placed the mark just a short while earlier.

Jin focused his chakra, copieng the flow of chakra he saw running through the fourth as he preformed the flying thunder god techniqe. His eyes focused on his destination, the symbol giving of a faint glow as the sudden flash shot up around him and his surroundings where suddenly differant. He was now next to the fourth and his body felt a sudden surge of disorentation.
The fourth caught the now wavering Jin as he began to fall over from his diziness. "Yes, it takes some getting used to, but you seemed to have gotten it on your first try. Not bad, not bad at all, now if you can just get used to the sudden change of position you should have it down."

The fourth pointed out towards the trees, "The best way for you to get used to the sudden change will be to mark several of these trees. Try to mark on high branches, that way your dexterity and balance will have to be at its best when you lose your orientation. Fail and you could bump your head each time you lose your balance, not a big drawback but it will give your body a bit of reminder to push itself harder with that bit of reinforcement of knowing pain will follow failiure in mind."
Jin nodded and quickly made his way around the forest, leaping to many branches, all at different levels, and marking them with his location points at which he would arrive. Once he had marked several he landed and backed away from the area.

The fourth backed up, not wishing to come between the lightning fast movments between trees that was about to take place.
Jin repeated the movements he had seen before, makins sure to store extra chakra in order to quickly move again once he had reached each spot. With a bright yellow flash he was gone and landed on the first high branch. Immediatly a wave of disorentation followed, all though not as bad as before it was enough to send him falling of the branch. Jin reacted quickly as his feet stuck to the tree branch and he swung around, his hair narrowly grazing a lower branch. Sweat beaded his head, "a bit to close for comfort" he thought seeing sharp growths on the tree merly inches from his left eye.

Jin wasted no time thinking about safety, he couldn't if he where to achieve this technique quickly so that he could learn more from this master, his eagerness ready to drive him farther than his stamina should be able to handle.
He quickly formed the symbol again as yellow flashes began to fill the branches of trees throughout the woods, each time making it easier for him to keep his balance after the sudden burst of speed. Eventually a thumping sound was heard as Jin fell to the ground, his body exhausted.
The fourth made his way over towards Jin, seeing his panting body lying flat on its back staring at the sky with a smile upon his face.
