She smiled "Nice to meet you." She looked down at the sketch, "It's a picture of Sam, the trombone player." She said, gesturing over to the sophmore trombonist.

Jaye walked into the upperclassmen cageroom. She was so glad that the day was almost over and all that was left was band practice. She coudnt wait to take her frustration out in her music. She undid her lock and threw all her 30 pound texts book in there. She let out a long sigh and grabed her music folder and picolo. Today was the day that the underclassmen were coming to practice with the upperclassmen. Throwing on a fake smile she headed towards the door.
((Im going to add another character XD this should make it interesting))

after retrieving the piccolo he gave it back to its owner
"u freshman need to knock it off u understand"
he waited for a while b4 they all said yes
then went back to the mallet section and retrieved his music from his backpack

((ok so who is in the upperclassmen band room and who is in the underclassmen band room??))
Jaye was about to open the door to the practice room when Mae walked up.
"you know today is the day right?"
"Yeah I do..." Jaye took a deep sigh. "lets just get this over with."
"agreed, then after practice we go to the cafe as usual k. Is a good thing that most of the underclassmen havent found out about that place yet. Uck, I would stop going if it was swarming with all those disgusting insects."
"Hey, there not all that bad"
"ok then, whatever." Mae opened the door and walked though and it was as if the second she did something clicked in her. She held her head up high and walked as if she was better than all the other people.

Jaye put her insturment and music, sadly, in the second chair. It was only because she had a major case of the flu that day that she had second chair. before and after class she was throwing up like crazy but she took that test! She made sure of it! She looked over at Mae who was smuggly putting her instrument together and then glanced around the room. For a second she thought her eyes were playing ticks on her but in fact it was him, the guys she saw yesterday. Then it hit her, of course! He had told her that he was bumped up to her band. She grabbed her purse and turned to Mae. "Hey Im going to talk to the new guy."
"thats fine with me, Im going to practice before class starts. not that I need it mind you, in fact your the one that needs it." she looked Jaye up and down then stuck her nose up in the air again and started playing.
Jaye let out a sigh, rolled her eyes and headed over to Dylan.
"Hey! ...uhh Dylan!" She walked over, dodging a flying bottle of valve oil being tossed, and rummaged though her purse.. "I have... something.. for... ahh here it is." she pulled out the pair of mallets he forgot yesterday. "you left them in the cafe."
((and where is everybody right now?))

Jaye tilted her head. "uhh... no." she handed the mallets over. "Im fine." all of a sudden mae burst into a fast melody that seemed to flow like a soothing brooke. Jaye clenched her teeth together when everyone started clapping. "she missed the D flat." she wispered under her breath.

"yeah but nobody realized but me." she crossed her arms. "weve been at eachothers throughts for forever so dont worry." She glaced over at Matt and then shifted his weight. "dont mess with the underclassmen today alright." she stuck out her tongue. "wait till tomorrow so they get caught off guard."
