Tokiko_Tsumura_Mae he's a boy becuz he liked this girl in this episode
Liking girls does not make you a boy confused
Plenty of people, in real life and in the anime world, fall for people of the same gender.

Shippo is a boy, silly! If you thought that he might be a girl at times..i dont blame you..I sometimes forget that Shippo is a boy , but then I watch an episode or a movie and see that hes in the hot sprig wit Kagomeand Sango..and knowing how they get when Miroku looks at them in the spring, i remember that Shippo is a boy....So ...Yea!

There's an episode in season 1 in which you can see his "boy bits". You can only see it on the DVDs, since they can't show it on TV. But I think that proves what gender he is.
But I think pretty much everyone thought he was a girl at first.

At first I thought that he was a girl too...xD But in Germany when they translated it in German you could se it all XDDD they didn't put anything over it...like they do it in other countries...like they did it in Japan the same you can see it here...too bad that they never drew Inuyasha complet without clothes crying Well....see ya 3nodding
