my band is playing star wars and it's superrrrrr easy and i played pirates of the carribean in 7th grade

Last year was The Nightmare Before Christmas music. I loved playing that music. >w<
We've also played songs from Ice Castle and Disney movie songs. o.o

Last winter concert we played a song from Fantasia 2000. it took us YEARS to finally get it right.

Last year, we did Nightmare Before Christmas ((totally awesome)) and this year, we did POTC Black Pearl. It waz pretty cool.

This year we played Soulman from the Blues Brothers and The Jet Song from West Side Story (Which had a very fun percussion part)

I've done a lot of stuff over the years:
-two harry potter ( a general and one for PoA)
-pirates of the caribbean (grade 9)
-Lion King (back in grade 8 xD )
-Blues Brother Revue (grade 10)
-West Side story (grade 9)
-Star Wars (grade cool
-and this one medly piece a couple years ago... and a harder one this year in grade 12

If it's a good arangement i'll play it. But i hate movie music that sounds like the band is dying. I think my favorite song we've ever played from a move was "In the Hall of the Mountain King" and "Jurasic Park."

@_@ I've done a lot because of our pops concert every year...
Mmm... Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, PotC biggrin MC, buncha horror movie stuff, stuff from lion king, peter and the wolf (book/play/movie lolz)
There's so much that I can't even remember it all... that doesnt even include the stuff from middle school XD LotR and Grease and stuff like that.
Oooh we're doing Top Gun lol
Pops Concert - Small Casual Concert between Large Formal Concerts. ALL student conducted.

Let's see...
last year we did a Grease one and a Pirates of the Caribbean one.
And last night we performed one called Disney Blockbusters which has Under the Sea, Beauty and the Beast, A Friend Like Me, and A Whole New World in it.
