RivFador DGwar RivFador bm spec is the laziest spec in the game, they make their pet do everything. I'm a level 66 frost mage and I go help my friend out with a 65 hunter. Usually i just go in and spam ice lance and arcane explosion but no, this was a bm hunter who made his pet stun me and basically solo me, all the hunter did was control him and sting me, bm hunters are lazy noobs.

uninstall WoW and never play again. I am also a BM spec hunter. We happen to be a high dps spec that is awesome in raids. Ice mages on the other hand are not awesome in raids, spec fire you turtling noob, maybe you'll suck less. (BTW i dueled a ret pally when we where both lvl 56 without my pet, i still beat him and he used LoH and his pally bubble. L2P.)
Why is it every time a big red kitty eats someones face off they call hunters OP. I've seen demo warlocks have their FelGuard do everything I don't see nearly as many 'Nerf locks thay iz OP cuz i suk' threads. Methinks you don't know how do beat a hunter so you complain about them.
You're a ******** idiot alltogether... ret paladin yuo dueled was OBVIOUSLY a noob... no BM hunter could kill another player, their level without their pet, all a bm hunter does is send in their pet and throw in a sting or two, and debuff.... On top of that, you're alliance, probably why you got all upset and say things like L2P and called me an "ice" mage... GTFO and re spec WRONG, I've seen many a BM hunter lose their pet in BG and go on to kill many more before rezzing it. You my friend are biased as hell.

First off I must say that this is a very entertaining post.
Now, all classes have their pros/cons BM hunters, rely on their pets but not 100% any hunter without the pet, can do serious damage. Ice Mages, rely on mana, against a healing class we gotta be mana efficient, and ice lance is the spell for that job, it deals 2 dmg per point of mana, much much more if the target is frozen, and whats more, to beat a mage all you need is a stun and good mana drain, enter viper sting. Now, this goes for all classes, pros/cons if you know tacs against classes your class can beat anything. Mage vs mage battles are usually won by whomever gets in the first counterspell, since he will have a major dmg lead. I don't get why you complain about BM hunter relying on their pets, that's the friggin specs name, nothing wrong about it. Same as "OMG that frost mage uses way to much ice spells, nerf nerf nerf"... Just a stupid argument. If you want to complain complain about hunters getting their 2hander way cheaper thn anyone else in A3, complain about mages being turned into portable drink/food vendors and transporters. Complain about warlocks having to carry enough soulshards to always be able to summon in an instants notice. Etc, etc. All classes have something bad about em, warriors are for example taken for granted that they'll tank, almost impossible to find a PUG for an instance if you're a dps warrior.
Last but not least. Don't yell "That's so OP, NERF NERF NERF!!!!!" before you've played the class and actually spent five minutes to learn tacs against it. All classes can be beaten in a fair fight. Some require more effort than others, a healer it's sometimes enough to silence when they run low on health and they can't heal. A hunter, maybe take away the pet and dps the actual target like hell is on your heels... Also, fighting a BM hunter as a leveling mage is just stupid, ice for pve differs from ice for pvp, many people don't realise that, but it's the truth.

How the hell do you lose your pet in a BG? Are there people out there who kill hunter pets? Especially BM hunter pets?
Never happened to me, never seen it happen.
But if on the offchance I lose my pet, somehow/somewhere, my BM hunter can easily take down people without the pet. In BGs theres no reason for me not to.

Also, pets do die from AoE mages and other things quite often. Also, you're a ******** idiot. You're the one that's calling his BG noobs when you can't even handle BM hunters?

When I was hitting up the AV area, I'd be running up with the paladins and everything, and hunters would send their pets after me. I'd then let the paladins continue the charge as I took all the pet aggro for myself. I = pet slayer.
RAWR~! PHEAR MEH, HUNTERS!
Well, don't fear me. I just saw it as the best way to help my battle group, and it usually worked. Only a handful of BGs that I participated in lost.

I never really got into BM. I leveled from beginning to end as MM spec (got a bit of flame for it, like it's anybody's business how I level ha!), focusing on stacking as much attack power as I can get my little orcish hands on, and I can go through a whole instance without even summoning my pet and still get very high DPS. I must say I'm very bad at PvP (I try!) but it's very rare that I lose a fight against a mage. With a mana draining spell and a healthy selection of caster interruptions, they have a tough time getting anything other than instant casts off. Throw in a pet with Cobra Reflexes, and those guys are never getting that Fireball out. Sadly for me, mages are about the only class I can beat as a hunter. :/
I'm currently playing around with leveling a BM hunter, just to see the difference, but it's just a spare time kinda thing so I get maybe a level a month heh.
I don't like being forced to rely on my pet, because there's so much that can go wrong and you're left with just yourself and your bow/gun.

Okay First Yes and no that BM Hunters are lazy. I myself am a 51 BM Hunter. Now BM is the best spec for hunters when you leveling cause you can have your pet attack and you shoot from far away having your pet aggro. Now Marksmanship is great for PvPing or running Instances with groups especially when you hit lvl 40 and up. But when you hit lvl 70 and you have all your spells a good Hunter will be BM and Marksmanship so they can have there pet aggro while they do major damage such example. Bestial Wrath stops fear stun etc for 18 sec and cannot be stopped unless Killed. The Beast within your pet gain 20% more attack power and yourself 10% and same details as Bestial Wrath. And when your pet is taking all the damage your can deal more with arcane shot and Aimed shot. So yes and no it all depends if you only rely on your pet or if you share half the damage.
