Giving Pavel a wave as he left, he nudged Highwind to a trot. He had a large collection back at his store. And since there has been no customers calling for any of his supplies, let alone his shells, he might as well take the collection from there. It should be enough to satisfy the dragon.
He steered Highwind and he was soon at his shop. Like he figured, no one was there or had left a request for any of his items. Gathering as many shells as he could fit in a bag, he climbed upon Highwind and left his shop. He'll have to come back and dust later.
It was a hard trip going back to the mountain. Shiro tried his hardest to cushion the shells. He whinced every time he heard one break. All he could think of was getting there with most intact. Also trying to steer Highwind there was hard while he was concentrating on the bag. But eventually he arrived.
Gently, he placed the bag down and dismounted. Patting Highwind on the head, he told her to stay. Lightly, he shouldered the bag and began his climb. Thankfully her cave wasn't that high up, or he would have been in more trouble. But he managed. Placing the bag lightly on the ground where it would be out of the way he looked up to be staring at the Countess.
"Wagh!"
He nearly fell over the bag and with some flailing around he was able to get his balence back. Placing his hand over his racing heart, he bowed.
"F...Forgive me Countess. But you suprised me."
"I know. But I coulnd't resist. I had a feeling you would be back. You have the requirements of our deal?"
She looked about him and was searching for something. It was clear to her what he was missing."
"I see the bag and heard the shells from before you began your climb, but I see not a child. Care to explain?"
Shiro bowed again, not picking up his head as he spoke.
"I know mylady, I have not brought all of the requirements, for my child is still sealed inside the charm you saw before. I talked to a wise one, she was the one who gave me this child more or less. She told me that once my bargin was fufilled.... And then she fell asleep."
"This would not happen to be a old willow tree in the grove? That figures."
Shiro looked confused. It was aparent that the Countess knew of Mother tree, I guess everyone would know about her, since she was making the island work and all. He picked up his head and presented the bag.
"Thought part of my bargin has been fufilled... I brought the shells as you asked. As many as I could carry. Though the ride was a bit bumpy, and some have broke along the way. I..I am sorry."
The Countess took the bag and then looked him over. He had not fufilled his part of the bargin though.
"I accept the shells... but you had not fufilled your promise. And you know what that means... You must hand you child over. A deal is a deal."
Shiro hated this... But he did promise. He looked at the eyes of the Countess. She was serious... and the matter was serious. He made a deal. And deals are not to be broken. He lowered his eyes and picked the charm out of his pocket. Looking at it one last time, he raised it out to the Countess.
"Yes... A deal is a deal. And I made a promise that I didn't keep. I must face the concequences. And here is the Charm. Please take good care of my child."
The Countess reached out and took the charm.

::connors hand flopped on leave ground, and as he raised his body to see the happenings he sighed... He had reached the top. WIth a roll over onto his back, and a sigh:: I am a creature of the forest... not the damn mountains... : razz anting hard, you could hear him swearing. It could almost be herd:: Darn you Mother Tree... ::But he did not ever harm her name, or say anything towards her negative or in vein. He then rolled onto his tummy... and Pointed at Shiro. Half tired, and Half stressed:: My boy, you've done... You've gone and done it!  ::Connor stood up with a bit of breath back in him know. He brushed his pants off. The petals of the Charm floated down into her hands, and the Figurine melted. A Child was bord!:: Had you not given your child up willingly it would have never transformed. But, but... Look you are not selfish at all. You have been rewarded! Congrats!

Sitting small upon her one open hand, she stared at the back of the bunny boy. Blinking, the bunny boy looked around. The first thing he did spot was Shiro. He tried to crawl towards him, crawling right off the Countess' hand. She was thankfully quick to catch him in the other hand. She and Shiro sighed at the close call, the boy didn't seem to notice much except that there was someone else. He was staring at the HUGE dragon Countess that was holding him in her clawed hand. Now normally you would think that a child, especially a bunny child, would be automatically scared. But All he did was reach out place one of his tiny hands on her tip of her nose.
"Auuuu?"
The Countess almost melted. He was cute. Shiro sighed relief again. She wasn't upset, if anything she seemed to be pleased at the cute boy. Though, without Shiro noticing, the Countess was watching him. She looked at the boy and then at the father. Then she cleared her throat.
"Ahem...Since the part of the bargin has been presented... I have no reason to take this child from you..."
Begin more gentle then it looked, she deposited the child into Shiro's arms. He was thankfully able to snap out of his suprise enough to catch the boy in his arms, cradeling the boy.
"Ooooooooo..."
Gurgled the little bunny as his world shifted from the Dragon to his father. But the boy wasn't daunted, his facination just had to be shifted from the Countess' nose to his father. He didn't have to look very far before he found something to fit in his small hands. He make a swipe and managed to get a corner of Shiro's glasses. Shiro had to flinch as the other side of the glasses ear piece slid from his ear to across his nose. Once his hands had captured the creature...He had to subdo it. So the bunny boy clamped his toothless mouth on the glasses. There that would kill the beast. It had been attacking his father afterall. After gumming it a few more times, Shiro rescued his silmed specticals. It was a bit of a chore to hold the squirming child and clean off his glasses on his flannel. The Countess smiled. She doubted that Shiro wasn't already suited to be the childs father. He atleast knew how to hold a child. Not many males had known that, atleast it was her observation. She picked up the Shells and was about to retire to her cave when she spotted something on the floor. Carefully, she picked it up. It was the clover that she had seen on the avaling figure before it melted in her hand, and the boy had apeared.She got an idea.
"Boy, don't leave yet. I have a present for the boy."
The Countess took the shells into her cave and dissapeared for a while before she returned. She came upon a cute scene, the Child had fallen asleep clutching on of his fuzzy ears in his own mouth. Shiro looks thankful that he had fallen asleep. Having believeing he was loosing his child only to show up, and then actually taking care of the bundle, he was quite confused. But in a good way. The Countess came over and draped a black metal chain over the childs head, and on it was the charm. The Countess talked in hushed tones to Shiro...
"This child is going to be a handful. I cna see it already. I am hoping this might be able to give him luck. It's got a bit of magic to it, but I don't know how much it's going to help. You'll be a fine father, though make sure you keep an eye on this one. Do you have a name for him?"
Shiro looked at the boy sleeping in his arms and let his eyes wander over the sleeping form.
"Fortune. His name will be Fortune."
The Countess tried not to laugh. She just hope Shiro wouldn't regret that choice later. But it was his choice. She nodded and turned to leave. But she stopped when she felt a hand on her wing tip. She turned back to watch Shiro blush and then bow deeply to her. She smiled.
"Make sure you bring that bundle back to visit me. But for now, he should go home, and you too. You had a long day. Good night Shiro. And Connor, tell Mother what happened here please. I'll make sure to stop by her later."
She turned and dissapeared. Shiro nodded even though she had left. He would remember, and bring the boy back. His little Fortune. Slowly, so to not disturb the sleeping form of Fortune, he took off his flannel and made a makeshift harness with it. His lightly placed the child in so he might be able to climb down without hurting the little one. Once secure, Shiro turned to Connor and bowed.
"Tell Mother Tree I'm thankful. And I shall Bring Fortune to her before I leave."
He waited for Conor's responce before he headed down the cliff again.

::to shiro's surprise, once the baby had arrived, connor had already slipped down the cliff. he was already talking to pavel about the events. both were awaiting him when he came down the cliff::
pavel: how will he manage to get down the cliff with the baby?
connor: i left a napsack... You put a baby in it, and you put it on your back.
pavel: smart thinking...

Once Shiro adjusted his makeshift flannel carrier, he noticed the left bag. With a shrugg, Shiro put back on his Flannel and picked up the bag. Gently, he placed the sleeping Fortune into it and then placed the backpack on his back. Carefully, and slowly, Shiro made his way down to where Highwind was waiting. Once at the bottom, he noticed Pavel was there. Shiro looked at his suspiciously.
"I thought you said you had to go sleep?"

Pavel: I am not an elderly lady, like our Mistress... While she sleeps we may not... Even then we generally will not. Sleeping was a simple...
Connor: Ploy to get you moving. Other wise you would have had questions from here to sun rise. I see you found the pack alright... Take it as a gift of luck...
: razz avel laughed himself into a snort. Connor just looked wide at Pavel::
Connor: Now, Now.. No spilling any secerets...
::Together they waved a Farewell, and quickly slipped away::

Shiro gave them a way and hopped on Highwind to head home. He needed a nice nap and felt jelious Fortune was getting one before he did. But he was happy. His baby had arrived. Though he will ahve to think about how he is going to go on his quest with Forest while he has a baby. Maybe the ladies at home will be enough to take care fo the little guy the few day's he's gone.

Mink slowly walked to the forrest looking round for Pavel.
Putting a hand over the pouch unconsciously as she heard some movement in the bushes.

Pavel came from behind a tree, and looked to mineky. "It is time. Are you ready?" Pavel spoke soundly, with a snort before trotting off.
Some time later deep into the forest where the underbrush was just as thick as the upper brush, and you just about could see or stand Pavel came to a stop. "Minkey, Cats can see see in the dark... The task before you is to locate two ground mice." Pavel stamped his hoove, wtih a snort of impatience.

Mink looked around at the thick under brush and wished she'd worn something more then her tank top. Hearing the task at hand mink nodded thinking how she might find some mice in the thick brush. After thinking hard for a moment mink had an idea making her way quietly towards what looked like a berry bush. Mink stopped short as she felt something brush past her leg looking down she saw the tail of something small disappearing into the thorn bush next to her.  ~well i missed that one~ mik said softly under her breath. ((Good I love pics xd ))

mink nodded as he walked off. thinking of how she was going to catch mice.
~got it~ mink thought moving some of the dence brush so she could work a bit better.
after carefull palning and a few throns mink looked down at the trap that should work.
after setting the trap near the berry bush mink stood back and waited.
after a while mink started to think she set the trap in the wrong place when she heard the snap of the trap closing. quickly going forward mink saw two small mice darting round the inside of the trap.
~wow talk about dumb luck~ mink thought picking uo the trap and making her way out of the forrest

((not sure about that red text. sweatdrop and you are fine. i am a post and go person myself! lets get this moving a bit. You can add more to the above post later if you wish.))
After Minkey came from from the thick forest, Pavel was quick to move. The sun was already in the middle, and he knew he had until nightfal to help her complete this.
"We haven't much time." Pavel spoke with urgency in his voice. He then quickly lead them towards the cliffs farthest from the beach.
He turned and looked to her once they were there. Crossing his arms and stamping a hoove he siad. "Cats can climp, cats like cat n**. Most do at least. Up there... Is some. Are you witty, agile, and skilled enough to get it?"
Pavel stood back, and pointed. Then he paced a bit, and went off into the side to sit. "Good luck." Pavel said, as he sat to wait for her.
